I have a huge problem with the high flyers who roll when you do a reversal on them, just to get away. I also have a hgue problem with the tech guys who abuse that duck and under.

 

 

Would love to see you try to play a match without doing it accidentally pretty much every time you want to reverse something. That's a problem with the game, not the person.

 

 

EDIT: Why cant we punch out of grapples until their at least yellow like tech guys. I think this sets a huge disadvantage to anyone that isnt a high flyer, and tech

As for the tech thing i don't really see that a big issue since a lot of people don't rely on strong grapples anymore anyway.

 

The high flying systems just crap, i stopped using Spears because i can't stand the rolling system in this game.

 

Thats because your tech, which is why you dont mind it. Switch to brawler, or something else, fight a tech guy, and tell me how annoying it is, that YOU cant do a Strong grapple, but he can. It sucks because, at least the in grapple punch, gave you a way of defense against that tech guy that could strong grapple you.

 

Lets be honest, everyone uses strong grapples, though some do not rely on it, as much as some people.

 

At the end of the day, taking the punches out of the game, still isnt going to make 08 better. I dont even think it will make the flow of the match better. If FPR is going to crack down on this, they need to watch the guys who use whore out and abuse the "duck n under" and "roll out"

So its a problem with the game when you run at me, and it stuns me into animation, and you abuse it? So when i reverse a strong grapple, and you tuck and roll, every chance you get, and this is the problem with the game? If you think that, you're a fuckin idiot.

 

Stick to Rick Rollin people, and leave the FPR discussion to the grown ups. :)

The fact that you've accepted how strong grapples don't play a big part in matches anymore and don't seem worried about it, makes me go...

Yeah i accepted this a long time ago, it's one thing that i truly despise about 08 and really makes me miss 07. I am not worried about it, i hate it but what can i do?

 

Theres a few people out there that don't like to see people go through grapples at one another. But thats what got me to where i am today. It's also what made me have some classic matches against people and even got me MOTY against Mania.

 

Now adays it's mostly stun, irish whips and strikes and nothing more. Yeah strong grapples get attempted but not much as they used too since countering is too easy. This game really took a lot away from people like me, you, Nate, Mania and etc.

 

Anyway back to the rule, people drag because if they stand still people can strike out within 3 hits dead easy. We will definitely see the difference with the strikes now being banned.

It also pisses me off that RAMPAGE no selling finishers is still acceptable

We basicly conduct a shit load of rules to make matches fun and not freaking long.

 

So it's compleetly unlogical that we have Rampage being used to no sell finisher. A finisher that in SvR 08 is so hard to hit . So after following those rules pricesly you finally hit that finisher! Wham Rampage or after hitting that finisher ya know the guy will Possum pin and stall the match longer than needed. Could someone tell me whats wrong in this picture ?

 

I am neutral on the punching in-grapple issue. I got used to it but im fine without it.

I do understand what you mean, i play a lot of tech guys but it doesn't take too long to have them yellow, least not me anyway but of course it comes down to stun, strike and irish whip to get them yellow.

 

We will definitely see the difference without them and the people that abuse duck and under and the roll outs all comes down to peoples ethics at the end of the day. All though a lot of rolling really can't be helped since it is so easy too do it, again why i don't use spears anymore.

I actually like the "restrict" not ban ideas.

 

Either you can punch when unclored, but once your yellow you must stop...

 

Or you can do 2, then nothing.

 

And for tech whore accusers, some of us out there just want it for the moves.

 

Tried to make a Show/Dirty Guy and I fugging hated him for his moves.
