We can't really help ethics. I don't see a method to police it.

 

It comes down to a persons personality. If you're a cunt your ethics will suck ass and if you're a good guy then your ethics generally shine through.

 

Some people just don't know what they're doing is ethically wrong and people need to point this out, I know a lot of people will only point out a straight FPR mistake rather than bad ethics.

 

We also need to tell them in a way such as "hey man you shouldn't..." rather than:

If everyone is thinking 08 is such a shitty game, then I have one question. Why int he blue hell are we still playing it? Why not just quit the arguing and fighting, switch back to 07 that was a good year for OCW and be fucking done with it.

Ok we also reverse more than you is that ethics? I can reverse almost anything in 08 so can smythe and A-Mart. The only reversal thing is the strong grapple but it has been fixed alot by eliminating defense punching

Yeah, for one, that kick is pretty short range so it's not even that bad. Two, its called the reversal button, use it. Three, I never remember whoring that move too much.

 

Also, I'm all for the rise of new talent in OCW (In 07 I was actually getting tired of the main event being comprised of just me, kage, guy and nate, and I'm actually looking forward to seeing new blood in the main event, believe it or not I think you and cross's feud is a good sign of whats to come to the main event, so dont use that bullshit on me.)

 

My only gripe is knowing that the lution discussion could end up being "AHHHH HE USED BAD ETHICS, TOO MANY QUIK GRAPS, TOO MUCH RUNNING, HE JUST WENT FOR THE EASY WIN, etc."

When did this turn into "I can do this better than you." I got 9 title reigns, held both major titles, and I'm in the HoF sit the fuck down and take notes. Reversals are easy in 08. I didn't hear all this mess in 07, when it took talent. If you watch a match between myself and Nate, you'll see about 75% reversals, 25% moves, and a 12 minute match. So don't try that "I can reverse more than you" shit. The difference between my matches, and some of the "new breeds" is that I don't owe anyone an apology at the beginning, during, or end of any of my matches.

BTW cross this may have been posted also as a heads up for people who haven't done their lution matches yet to keep ethics in mind no matter how the game plays. Lution has to be as polished a product as possible, especially after the questionable riot
