Brad Bauer Posted May 1, 2008 Posted May 1, 2008 I don't want to get involved, but I'm not quite sure how those moves have anything to do with reverse hovering into a toe kick/finisher. Maybe you can explain more, but I'm not getting the corrolation. your arrogance blinds you Kage. as for the correlations. These moves are those that do not keep an opponent down, in other words, both parties normally get back up. I've seen plenty of people do an edge closeline or an arm drag, and then immediately attack their opponent when they are standing up. Deano was playing aggressive and I played as if he was going to follow up on that flying forearm. Whether he would have or not is a good question. He and I have discussed it briefly. Nobody cares to see how Deano got up and did an immediate running strike on me as I was backing away from him. He was playing very aggressively towards the end there. he put himself into the corner and into that position. Maybe I did reverse hover, but if you watch the clip you'll clearly see the heat of the moment scenario. Lets not also forget to mention the nature of the two on one as soon as tyro was eliminated. Either way, I GET THE FUCKING MESSAGE KAGE...you dick. now go back to playing GTA and leave me alone about it. Fuck, you fail to mention that FPR did not have a unanimous feeling towards that situation that you HAVE already addressed on multiple occassions. Next time i see an Edge closeline or an arm drag, i'm going to expect you to call people out for not backing off allowing their opponent to get back up from it. THIS WAS NOT A STANDARD KNOCK DOWN FROM A GRAPPLE.

Nate Ortiz Posted May 1, 2008 Posted May 1, 2008 you are talking about set up moves brad. those are no different from a stun move. what i saw was deano turn to target you. IMO you didn't give him enough time to reset, and you attacked him gaining your finisher. I can understand you saying deano may have run at you rather quickly, but you did do a stun move not a knock down move that he ran at you on. You got right up with not even an attempt to reset and went straight for the toe kick and finisher. deano's animation from the move hadn't even ended when I saw the kick. Smythe D. Wonder Posted May 1, 2008 Posted May 1, 2008 I got you failing to reset after targeting twice in the exchange in question... but I didn't see a reverse hover with Gaines... you countered a ground grapple so fair game... but when you duck under and toe kick with Deano not facing you is wrong... Gaines and Deano do double team you tho... but it's expected... same as when RD faced Reed and Strider alone... Strider actually saves Reed a few times... making an awesome realistic match... you got screwed... shouldn't have let Tyro get pinned first IMO... but meh... Gaines is also Guilty of not reseting after targetting... but earlier in the match.. I don't know if that rules is in the books yet.. but it is a rule nonetheless... and there's the reverse hover... infact... you guys are breaking rules left and right at the end of this match... Deano's flying elbow is perfectly fine... as he's not downed.. but stunned... and your allowed to follow up after that Brad... so final verdict... Bauer reverse hover and failing to reset after target... Gaines failing to reset after target... I don't have Deano for anything as of yet... real point is.. if you guys want to be ME Wrestlers... you have to be able to play under proper FPR in important situations... which didn't happen here... this was a huge match... title shot on the line... FPR and Ethics are Vital in these situations Signature 1 - The Alpha Heel Signature 2 - Spear 5 (F) - Stargazer Finisher 1 - Flapjack 2 (F) - The SDW Finisher 2 - Reality check (G) - Dawonderful Dream Finisher 3 (i'm cool enoigh to claim 3 moves) - The Darkside - THe Million Dollar Dream

THIS WAS NOT A STANDARD KNOCK DOWN FROM A GRAPPLE. did mister backstage politics get annoyed i called you out? to bad dont break fpr and it wont happen. and nate is correct, a set up move is 100% different then a reverse hover or not letting someone reset their focus. you should know this brad and as smythe pointed out Main eventers follow fpr (as best they can and better then most in some cases) in any situation, the circumstance do not alter fpr. fpr should be followed in any situaton and circumstance. so again brad dont break fpr and you wont get called out.
