Trying something new here. Since we have guys like Tyro and Cross review the matches, I'd try my hand at giving a good indepth review and opinionation of the RPs people have submitted and how it helps their storyline/fued.

 

Cruz and Knox

We start off the show with Carlos Cruz and the voice. I have to agree with Poe the voice kinda confuses me and hopefully Carlos will stay around long enough to explain it and develop it into something. Anyways I like how he meets up with his opponent backstage and how they play off the rookie thing quiet well. Not much character development from Knox, but then again he's a rookie and is still finding his way.

 

The Church of Vindi

Vindicator comes out to talk about the sins of Banjo Grimm for attacking Ministry last week. I have to say Vindi looks badass, only thing I would change is make yourself slightly bigger your proportions don't seem right. Anyways I like the way Vindi uses his words to come across as serious yet still mysterious. Banjo comes out like any good person who's been called out would and a brawl insues that also involves Ministry. I like that there was some doubt as to whether or not Vindi and Ministry were working together. A three way fued between these guys would be a nice undercard thing. Kinda reminds me of Kane, Henry, Khali fueding. No way meaning that disrespectful, but I mean three power guys that wanna destroy each other.

 

Who You Calling Underdog

This segment really appeals to me because it makes sense. CJ Hoppus for all of you that don't know was the ultimate underdog in every match he was in. He lost most matches but almost all of those matches CJ was within an inch of winning. He was the guy you rooted for and really got behind. Going up against Richard Blood, Air kinda took on this role. I like how CJ never backs down from Air when he tries to cut CJ down. Air's character is interesting cause it's the dellusional heel, and CJ is the fan favorite to try and set things straight. Should be a a good match when these two meet.

 

Revolutionary Comedy

This RP is just a classic. When you get a mix of Guys like Deano, Versus, Guy and even myself in there, the comedy that is produced is amazing. I like how Deano and I go back and forth and Guy is there for the commentary. This Rp while funny does set up the match stipulations for what is to come later on in the night.

 

Bobbie J"n"o you didn't

Jacob and Bobbie go through some growing pains as Bobbie explains that Jacob will have to change basically everything he is. If Jacob isn't able to find someone to fued with off the bat, a series of small RPs where he is undergoing his change at the hands of Bobbie Jo would be pretty good. I'd like to see her character shine through a bit more while Jacob is still looking for her's.

 

Please Rise

Well the American Badass himself is back. I think we all know that I have a huge amount of respect for Recon and OOC respect and admire the type of person he is. I really like him coming back as I see it as a Flair type run. One last good one. I also like the budding tension between Regan and Recon. These two men represent a generation of wrestling that was "real" wrestling. If Recon can survive next week I wonder if these two will face off.

The TV Title will not change hands next week nor will it change hands when I meet Steve "washed up" Jones.

Great show all together I marked hard for Recon's themem music. I also think Vindicator has a great look/gimmick. I'll post more when I watch more.

Tyro's Judgment

 

Just to start off,no RP involving me this week due to some sudden change in plans yesterday,to late to make something. Regan hopefully is aware of this so i still wish to remain booked for next week. No Turmoil without Tyro Kraven damm it!

 

Carlos Crus vs Evan Knox

 

Sporty new look from Cruz,like someone already said the music is kinda off but i can digg it. Match starts off both tech hoe'ish so the usualy corner quick and stuff till they color. Over castle by Knox ..since he likes to kicks and what not i'd say why not use the side kick,or Reverse elbow looks better i think. The match is skippy probably cause Regan recompressed it to 320:240. Match goes a little to Knox favour but Cruz keeps up alright. Odd choice there,: throat thrust Kane/Undertaker style.... Knox seems to strike everytime the rare events Carloz grapples..making him Tyler quit a bit but probs to Knox for not rolling once up to this point. Despite that Cruz takes the lead making Knox DDR,can he finish it off ? Cruz gets a shot but it becomes a bit chaotic as Knox makes his first roll of the match and misses his chance. After a top rope hurricurana Cruz is now also red and its Knox's turn for a finisher attempt and gets the job done.

 

Match flow: Skippy and bit clash of styles.

Movest Cruz : Needs some work.

Moveset Knox : Fine

Match ending: It appeared to me Cruz grappled near the finish but Knox striked him should have back off but the movement was so subtle understable if Knox didnt see it.

Val Vinale vs W.A.P

 

This match starts at 2/5 of the timer bar. Oh oh this is gonna be a short match,but for who? The match starts out..fairly even with Val hitting the chop combo of doom,chop chop,spin chop,quick grapple chop. Little reverse hover there by Poe but corrected but does it again after getting up and imidiatly running attacking Val,bad poe. Poe just seems to have no luck in this match as he walks into Val's big grapples lol. Val finishes it off quite quickly on his first attempt to do so.

 

Match Flow : Unlucky,not many reverses,Poe pretty much walked into everything.

Moveset Val : Fine

Moveset Poe : Fine

Match Ending : Fine

Tyro Kraven vs Aries

 

It was a good match but Aries was not his usual reversing self or the presence of Tyro Kraven in the ring just nullified it(It was GTA4 lol). Really digg his new look,helped with part of it,body tuning face but the rest he did himself,quite nice. Hopefully it will be a closer match next time.

 

 

Trips/Kang James vs Steven Jones / Blake

 

Interesting shirt from KJ,nice. Blake as always interesting to see. I dont rate tag matches but i will comment on it. Match starts out with Trips tagging Kang in to face Jones,battle of technicians. Lol painfull combo,Blake punch to the head into Steve's spinning elbow,wham that had to hurt. This is damm good showing so far and the battle between Steve and Kang is pretty even..until Steve tags in Blake. One of OCW's finest brawler lays the smackdown on James and turns him yellow after a vicous combo. Match goes back and forth with Blake playing very good should be noted. It was a long match,loads of chops,good match.

 

Leonheart vs Deano Horse

Interesting...outfit Deano...i rofled at the shirt haha. Ahahah at Leon also,but cant beat Deano,booya! Im calling it right now..if Deano uses the hip spank this match will by default be the match of the night. The match is pretty good. As both tech it starts off with the usual "Get that sumbitch yellow" moves. Deano's german suplex pin looks smexy in that outfit rofl. Oooooh Leon hit's that suidice dive very very nicely Deano saw it coming but probably didnt know it could reach that far( neither did i ) This is pretty close match,with Deano starting out better but Leon catching up and taking over the lead in the middle of the match. Deano's precious get smacked into the iron pole by Leon wich Deano repays by shuving his ass into Leon's face ( What kinda match is this ?! ) HAHAH markout for the dubbel Rick rude taunt,very stylish.This display of sexyness continues untill finally Leon hits his neck breaker. Pretty interesting RP at the end. Seems Leon is taking a small break.

[Carlos Cruz]

I had a hectic week prior to this match so I did the promo's as best as I could.

 

Bold if you had actually red my promos prior to This weeks turmoil you would have understood that:

• From my Feud with Air - The Voice was able to stay around despite me not taking the pills that Air tricked me with.
  
• The Voice grew stronger and somehow was able to control my mouth to speak to Trisha.
  
• The Voice saying later in the RP that we would control more than just my mouth.
  
• Last Week the person that Evan Knox heard backstage was the voice again controlling my mouth.
  
• And to go along with all of that in the first RP the voice said 'We need to get ready for 'MY' Match which takes me back to my 3rd point stating that the voice would control more than my mouth.

I'm trying to go with '2 Sides of Carlos' angle... 1 side is the normal Cruz with the mexican theme and there's this side - the voice's evil side and that was the only theme I could find fitting at the time of recording so you either like it or lump it.

 

And To Tyro's review - My moveset messed up before the match because my moves/taunts altered and moved slot (The Shelton Taunt I have is supposed to be on the left D-Pad.. but it was on the down D-Pad >< which is supposed to be my so-claimed 'Damn' taunt (the one where I throw my hand down), and neither of us are Tech so I apoligize if it did look Tech Whoreish

 

And the video is skippy due to either i) my recorder dropping frames or ii) me having to edit the match twice because I set the record setting on my dazzle wrong so I had to use the dazzle editing software then WMM... I have altered the recording settings but I also did the match with Trips prior to this so expect the same next week, if it carries on after that.. i'm gonna halt my recording priorites until I can fix it.
