Mania Speaks, yes I can write (sometimes)...

[Chris Mania]

The scene opens up backstage just hours away from OCW Riot going live, Chloe Taylor is standing in the bay area surrounded by crew members carrying stage equipment.

 

Chloe: Any of you seen Chris Mania?

 

John of Stage Crew: Sorry love, ain't seen him he should be here any minute I heard.

 

Phil of Stage Crew: I heard that too.

 

A loud noise can be heard coming from just outside the arena, Chloe goes to check it out... As she opens the fire door the noise gets louder and she realises it's music coming from a black ice-cream truck parked in the lot. The trucks been completely modified into a Chris Mania Tour Truck complete with a big top hat revolving on the roof in place of the standard ice-cream cone along with 2 massive speakers, on either side of the truck are huge spray-paintings of Spoon giving the Buddy Christ Thumbs Up. She walks over to the truck and knocks on the door, course the music is soo loud that nobody inside can hear her. Slightly annoyed she bangs on the window, couple of seconds later the middle window slides across and a huge cloud of smoke empties into the parking lot the music still blasting so much so that the window is vibrating.

 

Chloe: Chris?

 

Through the smoke the familiar top hat emerges and ofcourse it's Chris Mania smoking a fatty-boom-batty (joint) with a huge grin on his face as he see's Chloe, he leans over the counter and pulls down his shades to reveal his blood-shot eyes. He gives Chloe a little wink before returning into the truck to turn the music down. The drivers side door opens and Chris steps out.

 

Chloe: First off Chris, what the hell is that? *pointing to the truck*

 

Mania: That baby is The Chris Mania Tour Truck, beautiful ain't she?

 

Chloe: It's uh, different to say the least.

 

Mania: Here come check this out.

 

Mania leads Chloe and the camera man around to the front of the truck, where a big silver Spoonman logo is painted onto the hood.

 

Chloe: (sarcastically) Nice...

 

Mania: (oblivious to the sarcasm) Yup she's my pride and joy.

 

Chloe: Ok Chris I was wondering if you wouldn't mind giving me a quick interview?

 

Mania: Sure ya know I always got time for *Mania points at Chloe* YOU.

 

Chloe: (sarcasm, again) Great... Ok let's get on with this, so Chris the first question ofcourse is where have you been the last 2 months?

 

Mania: Well after doing what I was meant to do at Lution the boss rewarded me with a much needed vacation.

 

Chloe: Much needed? You had only been back for like 3 months...

 

Mania: You act like I'm the only wrestler on this planet who puts in a few months and then takes off a couple. Ya know who I'm talking about right?

 

Chloe: Yes, but for legal reasons we can't say his name on television.

 

Mania: We're on television?

 

Chloe: Well not yet, this is pre-recorded and will air later to the fans in the arena... So where did you go on your "much needed" vacation?

 

Mania: Where do all stoners go when they have a vacation? The Mecca for Potheads, Amsterdam ofcourse.

 

Chloe: Ofcourse, you bring any back?

 

Mania: *look on his face like he didn't hear that correctly* what?

 

Chloe: Huh? Oh nothing. So tell me Chris what do you have planned for the near future? I mean in OCW, what's next for Chris Mania? What can we expect?

 

Mania: While I've been gone I've noticed that a couple of people have been saying some very harsh things about The Spoonman, trying to tarnish what I've done here, trying to ruin the reputation of The Longest Reigning North American Champion in OCW history. So I've got a message to all those clowns... I'm not hard to find so if you got something to say come say it to my face. I'm here to stay and tonight against Smythe I'll further prove why I am the top hat in this company, I'm back, Dance you fuckers...

 

Mania climbs back into his truck and moments later the loud music can once more be heard blasting through the speakers attached to the roof as the camera fades

If you look at my previous rp's (there ain't many) I always have the female interviewer un-interested in Mania for comedy purposes.

 

It's a Tour Truck, Jay gave Mania a large sum of money for his part at Lution and he spent most of it on weed. Upon returning to the states he came across a broken down ice-cream truck, bought it and made it Mania.

 

3 months eh Bold? I'll be cashing in my rematch clause before then so don't worry about beating the reign it ain't gonna happen :p

Ok I've had time to think on this.

 

Winning does matter, but it's not the all important thing to get you to the top. Sure I gained Main Event status by winning but it wasn't on that alone, I'm entertaining to watch (or atleast was on 07) which is why I share the MOTY 2007 Award. My sig says "if victories are more important to you than everything else" now to me entertainment is more important than anything else, coz I didn't write much I had to move up the ladder a different way. I'm the loophole to many OCW standards.
