Sorry Smythe, but the 2 have NOTHING to do with each other..there's nothing wrong with kicking out of finishers, as if you can mash fast enough then good for you..but kD hit his fin like 4 minutes into the match, it was NEVER gonna win that early on, from there on he got his ass beat, and when Poe was looking like winning he went into ' shit, gotta win mode'....and used whats basically a loophole in the FPR rules to win.

 

Shit, we could all play like that, hit our fins as soon as poss, then after they kick out, and we look like we are in a bit of danger, boom..slap on a sub.

 

I have no problems with people kicking out, kick outs only became a big problem to you when people kicked out of YOUR finisher,so then you go on about 'ban kick outs' blah blah, KD kicked outta my finisher at Sumemrcide, did I whine? No..because he mashed fast enough to escape..so he deserevd to kick out,so the argument makes no sense.

 

and another note..if that was your match, and you lost like that, you know you'd have done the match again, or tried to change the rule.

Most people wanted rules to shorten matches and replace the DR rules, but as proven..less ethical people still find a way to exploit and cheese these rules.

The rule states once you hit your finisher you can end the match anyway you want... This rule sucks... I like the DR rule makes much more sense... This is the point I'm trying to get across...

 

People have kicked out of my finishers many times before Trance... But when everyone can kick out of any finisher... It makes watching matches look incredibly stupid... I undeestand people that suck need a chance to win... But this just isn't good to watch... He fact you guys don't see this makes me sick...

The way I read Smythe's Comment and Correct me if I"m wrong but I don't think the kickout rule has anything to do with giving people a chance that suck to win. Furthermore Trance kicking out of your finisher doesn't infer that he sucks. Secondly I think the problem people see is that KD hit his sig very early and then won on a non sig finisher move (correct me if I'm not seeing this right or reading the posts correctly). I think that is the larger issue than the kickout rule itself. So I'm not quiet sure why you're going back to that.

 

I really liked Riot this week. I thought it could have held a little bit more and didn't necessarily pack the punch that last weeks did but overall I was a fan. Despite the contraversy looking at it in a "fans" point of view I like The Darkside. They're an interesting Faction and they have that look. Hope the engage in a strong solid fued with someone that ties the three of them all together. I think Smythe can help give some direction to their RPs. Also glad to see DJones RP and start to get going again. Steve Jones' son could have a bright future. Smartest thing DJones does is interact with Poe in RPs. Poe is an RP genius. Wasn't a fan of D-Jack basically saying it wasn't fair for Hostile Parker to be for the title. Was an odd RP but I guess it was needed to change the card. As for Parker he's dirty (in a good way) at this game. I'm glad he's back and I hope he continues a run here because I'd actually like to see Mayhem Parker. (Not necessarily for the WHC but in a fued). Overall a fun middle tier Riot but one that I know can be better

 

Great job on commentary buy Fausto though. I say we get Jim Black and Fausto to handle the announcing duties next week. Or we bring back Nate and have Nate and Fausto. :)

Crybaby antics? Please..get off your ego for 1 minute and atleast try to understand the point i'm talking about. I'm not crying...the ending was total bullshit and you know it.

 

The point is, whilst not breaking fpr,a blatent exploit to the FPR rules was used, you can't deny that,you yourself agreed the end of the match was lame..people join OCW to get away from the cheesy, unethical bullshit we get with randoms, and that fact that people here still manage to pull this kinda shit is ridiculous.

 

Yes the rule states that once you hit your finisher you can end the match anyway you want..so the rule is obviously flawed and needs re-thinking.

Main issue here Jook is ethics...meaning that there is a sort of unwritten rule and way you handle people when wrestling. It's so the match looks asthetically pleasing. That's the main issue

The rule that makes KD able to pin poe with whatever after he hits a finisher is the direct derivitive for people being able to kick out of multiple finishers...

 

In other words this rule was only made because kicking out of finishers is not only possible but rather easy...

 

With the DR rule... KD isn't allowed to hit his finisher that early in the match... So this wouldn't have happened...

 

Also KD doesn't need a 70 sub to win a match with a submission move... Only to use a submission finisher...

 

This isn't about me at all... It's about you guys crying for something then when you get it... Crying about the circumstances of having it... You want finisher kickouts... Prepare to lose to shitty rollups, bear hugs, sleeper holds and boston crabs...

Are you fucking kidding me chief? Just pointed out its a loophole to be exploited. Your new so I I will give you the benefit of the doubt, but OCW is founded on ethics, not bullshit lets skirt the line and see how well we do, you reinforcing it aggravates the utter shit out of me.

 

I don't like sketchy shit period, no one else in ocw to my knowledge likes sketchy shit either. When folks where sketchy we got rid of them 1 way or another.
