Trevor McManus Posted December 14, 2010 Posted December 14, 2010 People need to take some kind of responsibility for their actions when the opponent has a sig/finisher. I'm not saying don't hit the guy. But I see FAR too many people just flapping about like absolute retards to try and avoid it in any cheese-filled way they can. Almost like someone sees you have a sig and just starts mashing every button and holding in the right strick. http://positivesharing.com/wp-content/uploads/2006/08/complaining.jpg [23:39] locoNY911: You get solace in the fact you arent a fuck up. 2k9's better than 2k8. Mayhem Posted December 14, 2010 Posted December 14, 2010 I like the finisher + damage rule..I actually think that this is needed as i can pretty much take a guess at 2 people who I think use resil and I bet I'd be right...so finisher + damage = death is a good way to end that cheese. that's easy Download their CaWs and take a look. you can edit their move sets etc etc. So take a peek. Maybe FPR should already be on that https://t.me/pump_upp
Trevor McManus Posted December 14, 2010 Posted December 14, 2010 You'd have to be a complete fucking retard to upload it with resil attached. Upload it without resil. Then add resil. http://positivesharing.com/wp-content/uploads/2006/08/complaining.jpg [23:39] locoNY911: You get solace in the fact you arent a fuck up. 2k9's better than 2k8. Iceberg LeTuce Posted December 14, 2010 Posted December 14, 2010 To be honest, if my oponent gets a sig i'll try and counter their toe kick or sig grapple. It annoyed the hell out of me when pople exit the ring, attack me rapidly or worst of all, hit a running move.
Vincent Valmont Posted December 14, 2010 Posted December 14, 2010 like said before a limit on kickouts need to happen. lets say a rook hits a fin on a main eventer or upper mid. hes got visible damage, got hit with that fin, but gotta let the pin go through? To me higher ranking on the totem pole higher limit... like 3 for m.e, 2 for upper/mid, 1 for low, none for rooks. just a opinion OCW's 2008's Most Improved Wrestler 2x OCW Heavyweight Champion2x OCW Hardcore Champion
Useless Dane Xavier Posted December 14, 2010 Posted December 14, 2010 I've been tweaking my moveset, think I got it near perfection now for my stat class, which means no more POWERBOMBS. Just working on a new finisher, thinking about using Kage's twisting neckbreaker http://i59.photobucket.com/albums/g289/jlethridge1/DaneCard.jpg http://wrestlinglol.com/photos/14n34sp.gif

You sub finisher doesnt fit your size, just give it up and fin something different.
Seth Morrison Posted December 14, 2010 Posted December 14, 2010 You know, the problem sounds to me like "ethics." These fuckin assholes that care more about winning that putting on something that doesnt look like complete shit, should be banned, or be put backwards. I cant fucking believe 2 years ago we didnt have to worry about ethics, and 2 years later, were talking about people running out of the ring, run all over the place, or hitting continuess strikes to avoid it. Fucking ridiculous. Dane Xavier: cyber bullying is not only illegal, it's pathetic "I swear to go if you call me a Liberal again you RETHUGLICAN, SEE WHAT I DID THERE. Smythe D. Wonder Posted December 14, 2010 Posted December 14, 2010 The main problem is people aren't being policed... I think classes need to be assigned based on size and character... Fausto told me I was a showman and I built my stats around that... Everyone should be in the same boat... Also sub moves as sigs need to be gone... And submission finishers should only be allowed for submission wrestlers... The cheese is apparent in that one... To dead the resil and turbo controller and whatever nonsense... Visible damge + finisher = match done... We wanted faster matches and better endings let's do it... This run for free reign has to end... Because simply put... OCW isn't clean enough for it... We also need to establish who is the main event wrestlers... Who's on the way and who's still making the climb... The shows are suffering... And the willingness to put in the effort is dying because there's no sense of uprising stardom... We need that back... Maybe instead of a ranking (since winning is a streak of luck this year as opposed to being good at the game) we should have a top 10 similar to what the wwe has with the top 30 with guys moving up and down based what they're doing on shows... Also we need people who carry titles to be good champions... Flount your titles... Look good in the ring and win with style... I understand we all want to win... But if half the talk is how shitty your finish was your prestige as a champion goes down... And champions should be held in the highest regard in OCW... 3 Signature 1 - The Alpha Heel Signature 2 - Spear 5 (F) - Stargazer Finisher 1 - Flapjack 2 (F) - The SDW Finisher 2 - Reality check (G) - Dawonderful Dream Finisher 3 (i'm cool enoigh to claim 3 moves) - The Darkside - THe Million Dollar Dream

But if half the talk is how shitty your finish was your prestige as a champion goes down... And champions should be held in the highest regard in OCW... Smythe, I only have one disagreement with what you posted. Submissions finishers are NOT cheese if you police people to not crank back fully when they do it. For example, if I had a DM with Ryder, and wanted to slap on the Sharpshooter, I just crank slowly at a time, allowing them enough time to spin the RS. Submission finishers are NOT hard to escape from as I've done it, as has Trips, especially if there's a rule for cranking back. Sort of like last year. I still don't get the problem with people whining about people doing whatever to get out of a sig or finisher. I can understand running away or out of the ring as unethical, but attacking someone? Come on! Do you expect people to just stand there?! Now, don't get me wrong, sometimes, I do play defensively, especially against people I enjoy playing to give them a chance. But there are sometimes when you have to play to win. I seriously don't see whats wrong with people WANTING to win. There is also the little fact that Smythe mentioned...YOU HAVE AN RT BUTTON FOR A REASON. Everything is reversible this year, seemingly, so stop whining, and always expect the worst from your opponent. If he wants to run at you, counter it into something nice, instead of bitching that HE WASTED MY SIGNATURE OH MY FUCKING GOD!!! Again, don't get me wrong. I love putting on good matches...if its a STORYLINE, or with someone who I can prove my worth against. If its a random booking, you're damn right I'm going to go all out. As for the pinning thing...I still think we should go with what me and Parker suggested. People kick out way too often. I don't think people on a certain tier should get as many kickouts, I think kickouts should be based on the match. Tags, four ways, and three ways should get NO kickouts because they last a day and forever. Singles, if its a ME match...1 kickout per person if its, lets say for the sake of arguement, Guy v. Mayhem. If its me v. Mayhem, a kickout for Mayhem, but not me, being as he's a champ. If a midcard match, or upper midcard match is amazing, then allow 1 per person, or if its for a title. 2 for the champ, and 1 for the person. Rookies shouldn't get any kickouts because they're rooks, as its been said. If I hit one of the new guys with a Superkick, I don't expect them to kickout. The people who would need to book things like this, are obviously Hennig and Jay. I mean, hell, why not give it a test run NEXT Riot, and see how everything pans out? It wouldn't hurt, you know. 1
