Every match on the show was pretty short this week. They were good matches, there were a lot of good spots, but one guy just had the other guy's number this week.
Jookie has stepped up his game it seems, LSD is no slouch! Jookie is just reversing like a sonofabitch and deserves an opportunity at the EX title.
I enjoyed Dupree's RP with the return of his original camera man. What timing, eh? Right after you come into some money!
KD's RP was very short but sweet. I like how he uses bible verses in his RP's, adds to the creepy kind of deal he's got going on. It's kind of interesting, he needs to beef up those RPs though.
My problem isn't KD, my problem is his playing style. How does he continue to get away with cheese? Where's Cody on this?
Hostile's RP was... brutal... brutal honesty in some ways. I enjoyed it and it built well to the EX title match where anything can happen.
Aunt Marie's RP was great. I like her charisma and the RP is interesting. I LOL'd at the joke about how she got her shoes on her feet, creative way of picking between having either Jim or Stacy interview you in a way that makes them both look dumb in the end. I like Aunt Marie's character, very interesting.
Dupree vs. Trevor was a good match, was back and forth for a while with a lot of good spots. These two matched up very well as characters and as in ring performers, but Trevor just found his niche and took advantage of his opportunities. You can do better than that Dupree, get up on the sticks!
Yamaguchi is an awesome character and I love his intensity. I like how his age and wisdom is displayed by having a protege of sorts in Hanna Kyo. It's interesting to see where he came from originally with Matsuda to how he changed after getting his ass kicked for getting involved with Matsuda/Dupree at Lution. Interested in seeing what more he does as I'm really enjoying this character. 'GUCHI!
It's also interesting to see where Cody Storm is going with his character. His interaction with Jacob Trance has become entertaining over the weeks and I like where that character is going with in his direction as well. These are two solid characters that a developing great RPs.
Sean Sheldrake is another intense character. I like his look and his attitude. People better stay out of his way.
MATSUDA IS COMING MOTHERFUCKER!
Matsuda vs. Brandon Hostile: I like Matsuda's entrance and his new look! Fucking awesome shit! I MARK! This match turns out to be a sweet match. Very hardcore and a good variety of spots and usage of moves. This match could honestly have gone either way but Hostile's just on a role. Congratulations on the title win and a great Main Event. The EX certainly is back in OCW with Hostile as champ.
Hostile's post match RP on page 5 in this instance was used well. He immediately put over the EX Championship and turned it into an interesting situation with him getting taken out by someone who must have control of the lights! Interested in seeing where this goes!
Great Riot all around, a lot of creativity being produced by a lot of guys. Keep it up fellas!
