Charles Scaggs and Alphonse Poling Released!
Just released to OCWFED.net, longtime and tenured commentators Charles Scaggs and Al Poling have been released from their contract. Scaggs and Poling have been with OCW since its inception back in 2005, making them longer tenured employees than even Hall of Famer Nate Ortiz.
Riot General Manager Alex Robinson is behind the decision, citing that the two used inappropriate language for the broadcast at the Certified Greatness Pay Per View and the December 2nd, 2009 edition of Riot on multiple occasions. When questioned ont he fact that numerous OCW wrestlers constantly break FCC regulations, Robinson simply stated that she expects much more from the two commentators.
As it stands, there is no replacement currently in the works on who will call the December 9th, 2009 edition of OCW Riot.
