The current plan for the launch of Version 4, SvR2011 and Devils Night are as follows. 10/23/2010 Devils Night Card The card will be posted today, get ready! 10/24/2010 Forum Changes In preperation for the server migration You may notice some name changes. You are not going crazy, I will be changing some of the forum names to match whats currently on V4. 10/25/2010 Server Migration V3 will be imported into V4. This comes with some pros and cons; the big change is that V4 forum structure will be gone. The big reason for this migration is that I feel by going in with a clean slate we look like a "NEW" organization. That does not sit well with me, V3 has seen a plethora of great topics and posts and to just deactivate it seems wasteful. 10/26/2010 Modification Installation The server migration is only going to carry over your login/pass, forum posts, topics, and threads, attachments, links. Things like your credit and awards need to be recoded into the system :(. This is not going to be easy, in fact its going to be a huge pain in the ass. That being said I will import the active rosters credit count, as V4 will have a credit system. In addition we will have a store, however the V4 still will be different than the V3 store. I will be doing away with many of the powerup items, as people never used them, and to actually go through the process of using a powerup was cumbersome and time consuming. Right off the bat I can tell you allot of the V3 mods will not be carried over. Old favorites like, Credits, Markouts, and Awards are planned to make it into the V4 Expansion. In addition I have to manually redo such timeless classics, as the archives, PPV RECAP, Champions, Rules, and HOF 10/27/2010 SvR 2010 Launch My goal is to launch V4 with SvR2011 Launch. If this can actually happen remains to be seen. I will probably play it safe and delay the full launch of V4 by a week or 2.
