Are you really that big of a piece of trash? Seriously?
-
Furthermore I think im going to go ahead and base your pyrotechnics solely based on your charisma rating. Seems like the easiest solution.
-
Resil and Durability are banned this year.
-
I mean think about it. Thats like saying Hey Val Finale has been inactive for a year lets him comeback and be a midcarder? Thats kind of stupid. Right now most of the guys who are Higher ranked in overness are that because they stuck with OCW for the entire calender year, not counting Hall of Famers who lets face it earned there stripes. So like I said before if you don't like your charimsa rating, you have something to work for towards the season. I am also thinking about awarding points for your wrestlers over the course of the year. Meaning just like Charisma if you actually work this year you get rewarded for that work. We shall see.
-
Made a change between low carder and midcarder, be advised.
-
you sucks at management.
-
If you shifted a few points from speed and tech, you could have respectable durability silly billy.
-
Bingo, And as for Iceberg, really a whole year?
-
Talked about that with mgnt, which is why we used the cutoff of 1 year. The idea is you can earn (Keyword) Charisma over the course of the season. Its an exterior goal to meet for yourself. To keep you motivated if you will. You get Points if you impress with a great feud, storyline, or even a match. So if you are at lowcard, instead of complaining about it, work your ass off to EARN midcard status etc. Get it?

Parker posed a few questions played around with his type of spec. Potential Parker Strike 50 + 13 = 63 Grapple 50 + 25 = 75 Durability 50 + 28 = 78 Technical 50 + 34 = 84 Speed 50 + 10 = 60 Hardcore 50 + 40 = 90 Charisma 70 Submission 50 + 00 = 00 150 Total HOF NERD GUY Strike 50 + 17 = 67 Grapple 50 + 30 = 79 Durability 50 + 32 = 82 Technical 50 + 31 = 81 Speed 50 + 10 = 60 Hardcore 50 + 5 = 55 Submission 50 + 25 = 75 Charisma 99 Total Spent 150 I actually like the way the spread works. I mean I know its not perfect, but if you play with the numbers you can make some pretty effect specs. And with FPR rules coming down I can tell you there is no Double Red right off the bat. So that should help with people hesitant about trying to max out dur. If you decide to take the focus deep into say the 90's for something its going to cost you. But this year it actually sets you apart. Take the potential Parker spec I posted, I gave him more Tech instead for some reason. But he has 90 Hardcore, which means he gets the bleed perk. Now some folks might consider it cheesy. But he sacrificed allot of mobility and submission and front damage to get it. The pay off is if someone triggers his ability, well they are fucked! Lights, and Cruisers. Will actually have more freedom now, they will generally be faster now, and harder to counter. Which also means if a guy wants to be a submission tactician Ala Wild Pegasus aka Chris Benoit or Dean Malenko they can go LHW. All in all I think this is going to work.

Good eye by Queer guy Before I went to publish I changed the -10 to -12. Fixed!

Below is more less Work in progress. A huge thanks to Vimes for helping me go into a more free form direction. ----------------------------------- This years Season in OCW using Smackdown vs Raw 2010 will see some changes in regard to how to create your wrestler. In the past we used a simple formula which left most heavyweights to be generic. In addition most Cruisers, Lightweights where left at a severe disadvantage. With the new stat rules we want to allow greater flexibility in regard to creating your CAW wrestler. We want you to weigh the pros and cons of a stat choice as opposed to sticking with the tried and true bland 7 and 9. Below is the current work please read very carefully. ---------------------------------- Getting Started Create Your CAW Create Your Moveset Create Any Alternate Attires Create A BACKUP of your CAW for tweaking and Point Resets. Set All of Your Stats to 50 Read The Next Section.Stats The Minimum for All Stats is 50 (No Exception). Each weightclass gets a point budget. (See Below) Each budget is different. Each weightclass gets different caps. (See Below) You apply your points from the 50 starting point. You CANNOT Exceed your stat cap (See Below) Read the next section------------------------------------------ Creating Your OCW Superstar Legend: RED = Stat Cap Green = Budget Find your weightclass. Read the stat caps for your weightclass. Read the rules (if any) for your weightclass. Leave Charisma at 50 (See Below). Follow the directions. Use your budget however you see fit. Read the next section. Heavyweights Budget 150pts EXCLUDING CHARISMA Strike Max 85 Grapple Max 85 Durability Max 90 Technical Max 90 Speed Max 75 Hardcore Max 90 Submission Max 90 Heavyweight Rules Chose a Primary and Secondary between Strike and Grapple. Your Primary will be -12pts of your Secondary. Your Durabilty will ALWAYS +15pts of your Secondary See the example below.Example Mikey McPowerHouse Primary is Grapple 84 (The Cap is 85 btw) Secondary is Strike 72 [84 - 10 = 72] Durabilty is 87 [72+15=87] Light Heavyweights Budget: 160pts EXCLUDING CHARISMA Strike Max 90 Grapple Max 75 Durability Max 80 Technical Max 95 Speed Max 85 Hardcore Max 90 Submission Max 90 Cruiserweight Budget: 165pts EXCLUDING CHARISMA Strike Max 95 Grapple Max 65 Durability Max 75 Technical Max 99 Speed Max 99 Hardcore Max 90 Submission Max 90 Super Heavyweight Budget: 125pts EXCLUDING CHARISMA Strike Max 90 Grapple Max 90 Durability Max 99 Technical Max 55 Speed Max 40 Hardcore Max 90 Submission Max 65 Super Heavyweight Rules Special designated Characters Rookies cannot create Permission must be granted by OCW Staff (We will tell you no) What About Charisma? Charisma this year in OCW is based on your standing or "Overness" in the company over the past calender year of 2009 (excluding Hall of Fame). Below is the current model for your charisma rating. Note your charisma can never decrease, but it can increase overtime. a 5 Star match, a heavily involved fued or storyline can earn you extra points towards your charisma rating. 99 Charisma Legend Status Achieve entry into the Hall of Fame. 90 Charisma Main Eventer If you have at one point held the OCW Championship, you are considered a Main Eventer. 80 Charisma Upper Mid Carder If you have challenged for the OCW Championship in a 1 on 1 on a Pay Per View Event, you are an Upper Midcarder. 70 Charisma Mid Carder If you have held any non-World Championship, you are considered a Mid Carder(includes International/Hardcore/Tag/Past Titles). 60 Charisma Low Carder If you do not fulfill any of the higher requirements but have been in OCW for at least 3 months, you are a low carder. Or if you have been inactive for over a year. 50 Charisma Rookie none of the above conditions are fulfilled, and you have less than 3 months of experience. Who the fuck are you, jabroni? ------------------------------------ Example Legend White = Base 50 Orange = Budget Point Yellow = Final Result JCS Strike 50 + 33 = 83 Grapple 50 + 21 = 71 Durability 50 + 36 = 86 Technical 50 + 30 = 80 Speed 50 + 14 = 64 Hardcore 50 + 16 = 66 Submission 50 + 0 = 50 Charisma 99 (because im the Man the McMahon) HAHA Total Spent 150

I was working on an updated draft of the 2010 rules that where crafted by Mngt more importantly vimes. And in the process firefox closed and I lost my data. Tomorrow or rather today (its 12:03) I will attempt to rewrite what I wrote, in addition to presenting that system and possibly 2 other systems for C.A.W. Good Night
-
You'll take a fresh bag of shut the fuck up.
-
The Shoutbox is public, invistags are off (for now). In addition anyone who does not plan to compete this season will be demoted to Fan Account This is done so that Mngt can have a quick visual indicator to see who they can work with as well as who the wrestlers can work with. As opposed to committing to work with someone only to find out he is going to not be competing actively. When V4 launches there will be a special (In-active aka Retired) Rank for just such reasons. They will share the same privileges as a Fan Account. Legends: Are now flagged as such, these include Hall of Famers, and very special OCW personnel. Inactive VIP's will be left untouched since they are VIP's Fan Accounts: Will like they do now constitute, friends and allies of OCW and fans. When we switch to V4 Those who donated to the construction of V4 will have immediate VIP Status. This will include some forum related goodies as well as bragging rights (no pun fuck them) CAW Rules They are not finalized yet. However I can give you a little tidbit of information. We are working on a system that will allow you to create the wrestler you want to create. As such it will take a little longer to finalize as we want to ensure even footing for all weight classes to some extent. Examples, Cruisers and LHW,s are faster, more techically sound, and quick hitters, Heavyweights are more durable and well rounded. Supers Heavy's are Slow cumbersome, but powerful and able to absorb loads of dmg. In addition we are also adding a subtle tweak that will be easy to understand and will show the current worth of your wrestler in terms of status and fan reaction.

Hello my children. So its been a few months with the pen and pad. Writing down ideas, a forum schema that works. Testing color palettes and browsing around. The official plan was to wait for Vb4 and then purchase a copy and build a forum around that. However as time lingers on its looking like Vb4 is still a ways off. In addition to that vb4 would be a new platform which means all of the mods, and skin customizations would not work or would have to be ported which is a project in it of itself. So as I sit here and contemplate I started to think that maybe Ill just stick to Vb3 for OCWV4. There is still allot to be done if we go through with Vb3 for OCWV4. I have to rework my list and incorporate mods that I would actually use. If you take a look at OCF thats pretty much what im going for. A large part of OCF is automated from result submission, to applications. I don't want to spoil my plans for for V4 due to streets watching, but some of you heard what I have in store. Its nothing groundbreaking but veering us towards a more streamlined type of forum. With features that are actually used not a bunch of useless fluff. 1st step is finances.

Racking up members and them actually being quality member are 2 different things. We had the doors open and all we acquired was a bunch of deadweight with the exclusion of 1 or 2 people.
-
Welp its about that time. I updated the domains which means its officially been 5 years. Grats on another milestone kids. This year in particular has been at least to say a roller coaster. Guys coming and going the creation of OCF. The new slim roster, the old guard all but terminated. But in these times a resurgence has began to rear its head. And it is my hope that when the time is right we will once again reach our promise land. I got some stuff up my sleeve so here is to 2010.
