Me scolding Reese for not putting me on the card, outshined all!

I should also add to this, that people in a fued should write a little simple compilation of story what they have done so far. So the Commentary has some thing to talk about inbetween the calling of the moves and so the Commentary team isnt forced to spend their entire week being up to date with storylines. If the kick out rule proves to be succesfull the matches will be more to the point and the commentary team combined with the little backstory will be enough info for people to really get into it. If the kick out rule proves unsuccefull, what stops GM or the recorder themself from creating commercials ? Just skip 10 min of the match that have nothing interesting in them and move forward to the last 5 min of the match.

Mindblowing promo Matsuda / Illuminati , very very nicely done. Im just gonna comment on as i watch. New theme Leon ? K.D's new look is interesting, will have to get used to it. K.D with a moonsault , K.D on the top rope for starters.not really sure if that fits. Leons promo was alright, the music could have been muted i guess. Another great video promo by Dupree > Dimmsmore.

Cockely ? Yes Cockely..

Seeing how this is the first time it has been done, it took a bit longer then it can be. I for one don't see why for the Livewire event we dont send in two versions of the match. One normal OCW video size for the archives and to send to the commentary team, and one 720 HD version. Most people here have an HD recorder anyway. Upload both matches, commentairy team will get the lower quality one. Do there commentary, then the gm just has to rip the audio and paste onto the HD version. This way he doesnt have to render and compress it 2 to 3 times.

It's tricky. It's true that your ability to kick out in the mini game, seems to be able to be more important than actually being the better player in terms of reversing and all. However it adds a "chance" factor to matches. It is not cemented in stone as much on who's going to win...where as i remember OCW 2007 and 2008, suprises and upsets rarely happend. Person X would almost always lose to person Y and so on. If im in a match with someone i always kinda hold myself to these "lines" as it will. - If between the last finisher i got hit by and the "current finisher i havent reversed enough or done enough to fight back, ill give up. Kinda like the UFC regarding TKO's. This situation can happen within 12 min, or 20 or 35, regardless whenever it happends, when it does it will never make a match look bad that way.

Ill continue my review tommorow, burned out on that ladder match. Damm you Matsuda!

Im starting to wonder if people did not click the "its not over " link at the bottom of the last page. Cause the next button linked back to page 3. Im just wondering since there is a serious lack of discusion about "someone "
-
Im glad the first part of my review got some discussion going. Like i said the old geezer match, it is personal preference, but the reason im not rating it is because they're limiting themself to make it look like it does. Im not hating but i cant compare it to normal matches. As for the Top rope move from tha Bryan lee . I like the move and it definatly qualify as a big match finisher and he could pull it off and it is a big omfg move,...just not on him. Im just reviewing it as someone watching. This is also why i requested the Sig/Finsiher to be upgraded cause if im correct Bryan Lee doesnt have a Buttefly suplex variation as his sig or finisher. I know im being nitpicky but these are just little things i watch out for. Taking Pugh's corner here as the pedigree is his finisher and the step to a top rope Pedigree is allot more logical to me then from what i know right now from Bryan's moveset.

Stop! Review time. And yes i hate gimmick matches...and ill keep it that cause if i say i hate each and every one of you Geomon would sue me for gimmick infrigiment. Mez Murdoch vs Bryan Lee This was very solid competitive match. Reversals ratio was pretty high and maintained for a good amount of time. However both Mez and Lee never seem to sell their bigger moves and stop for a breather. The only pinfalls were after finishers. It was like both guys were on their "Second Wind" non stop. So that took away from the match a bit for me. Spot of the match : Not one in particular, just overall good match. Match Rating : ***1/4 Will Pepperton Vs. Skip Kerplowski This song makes me want to punch the shit out of that singer, god he's anoying. And just for my amusment, the song gets repeated, awesome. I dont know what to say about the matches between these 2. At one hand the play a story while doing their match but on the other hand...the era of wrestling that they're playing and representing is one that i never liked. Where matches were 20 min of chops and punches, and suplexes and backdroppes made crowds go OMG! Kinda...cutshort versions of WWE matches of today. Not a whole lot happening. The match is alright but ill leave out a rating since it such a different style of playing that these two portray. Rating : None Pugh Vs. Jookie Marley Their are just a few guys who have a intro that i automaticly go,ooh its "his" theme. Jookie has one of them, i like it. Pugh's ever changing attire, comes out with yellow sunglasses, a bit odd color for sunglasses. This match was alright, the ending was interesting to say the least lol. Spot of the match : Thy Shall not taunt infront of Pugh>> finish Rating : *** Hazard vs Djack Hmm, i don't know what to think about this match. The match is pretty close and there are some nice reversals. But i have the feeling with this match that i have with every other match with Djack. He's not winning, he's suriving untill his opponent ultimately doesn't kick out, wich is what Djack seems to be good at...kicking out. Granted it is less apparent in this matches since the difference in finishers hit doesnt exceed past two but still. I do hope DJack eventually learns to recognise when he's getting destroyed in a match, i dont want to see a Djack vs Pugh rewind where djack just keeps no selling finisher after finisher and finally after 30 min manage to get 1 finisher and miraculousy win the match with it. John Cena 2.0. Spot of the Night : Hazards reversal of Djack finisher into his finisher setup. Rating : *** 2/4 Dane Xavier vs Vincent Valmont This match just like the first match starts out with a very high level of reversing. Liked the start at the corner where both taunting eachother for being "smarter" then the other, loved it. Valmont tosses Dane to the outside,Dane counters, goes back in sig, reversed, running grapple, reversed, running grapple missed, BIG german and Valmont once again demonstrates that he's outsmarting Dane. Valmont seems to have the upper hand the first part of the match and after countering a strike from Dane into his finisher, BUT it gets reversed and Dane sets up for his Big boot, connects but doesnt go for the pin, instead goes for his second finishers aswell, trying to seal the deal early, desperatly making sure to not stay in the ring with Valmont a second longer. Ok now the match is losing all its appeal after Valmont hits finisher number 5 and the match still has a good amount of time to go.. Sigh..ok if the match is going to have a fixed ending...why not look at the match and paste it somewhere where it made a bit more sense, i dunno somewhere between Valmont finisher 3 and 5. Spot of the night: Valmonts finisher reversal into desperation finishers attempt Rating : *3/4 Added note : A good match compleetly killed by a rediculous amount of finishers. Not even on par on Djacks level, this match could have been edited on any given time if the idea was to have the ending fixed anyway. All i know from this match now is two things: Dane = infact Superman A suplex has more effect then both Valmont's finishers. Matsuda Vs. Illuminati Where does matsude get all this video game fighting like music from ? Anyway...you did warn me on page 1. A gimmick match..sigh :p It's not your fault that the game makes gimmick matches so incredibly crappy, o well. I marked out for a couple of spots though. Top ladder stomp from Illuminati and Matsuda's jumping kick from the TB to the outside. I ..can't watch this one out, sorry. Spot of the match: From what i watched, the two mentioned above Ratings: *** ( standerd rating for gimmick matches )

Bumb this bitch up to page 2

Those were 2 fun openers. Dane's super squash match gave me a laugh. I would have loved Kale's new look and attire, but ive seen it before but still goodluck with it. Anyway good opener.
-
WTF since when did Sensation become PG ? I hope the ferret died a painfull death...just like Corey Ledsma i might add.
-
This was a very entertaining Riot and 2 people got arrested. FUCK YEAH!
-
Matches are going on youtube and you want file sizes to be 150 / 250, you will be getting some mighty low quality matches then.
-
Fair enough, still best match ive seen so far, goodjob to both of ya. And if this is just part 1 , i'm looking forward to part 2. Conversation is slow this Riot..
-
Whatever is going in your personal life,i wish you the best.. but you could have left the things i made bold out and you would have delivered the same message. I know people seem to hate Dane but ..somewhat enjoyable match ? Could be less entertaining for you in your situation but i dont see why you would descredit your match, just because its Dane ? I skim trough somewhat enjoyable matches, i write a few lines about somewhat enjoyable matches. Hate the guy you fight all you want but dont be an idiot and discredit your match.
-
Rp's were pretty good, but it'll feel cheap if i say that, since i say that pretty easy and i'm not up to date yet on most rivalry's etc. Illuminati looks freaking badass, the rivalry between Matsuda and this guy seems to have a large history, wich the only backstory i get from it is what posted a few days ago. Should be interesting. Da man with a thousand and one nicknames makes it return. I can imagine Smythe go and create himself at WWE 12 and he's finally finished after 30 min or so...goes to the finalise screen ..and has to fill in "nickname" and goes...WTF it doesn't fit?!

It's review time, and speaking of time i have plently of that today as i once again enjoy one of my lovely days of wich is a compleet opposite of how my days looked like before i started to check on the OCW site a few weeks back. ( For those wondering why the fuck i am around so much ) Before i begin my review there is something that i'd like to point out. It's not a rule or anything but i think it falls under ...just use common sense. From the moment the match starts to a part of the body is injured...you WILL get up automaticly, immidiatly ALL the time. Granted with some people's ability to kick out matches may go on for some time...and its also granted that on your Groggy grapple there will be 4 powerfull moves. I therefore see no reason ..why anyone would pick somebody up in the first 30 sec atleast, even till the first person is yellow..and stays on the ground after a move. Im not calling it cheesy or cheap but the first opener match for example, the first move that R2D2 hits is a Emerald Fusion....that is kinda a big move and you kinda kill your own move because..Hank gets up immidiatly after being dropped on his fking head. It just looks very out of place. That's all im saying. Openersssss --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hank Thomas vs "I tought u were kidding but you actually called yourself R2D2" Hank Thomas coming out with no intro theme and simple trunks. I like that, really sporting the new lowest of lowest rookie getting airtime for the first time. Infact in Dragon Gate the moment you actually get ring gear is a sign that people have started paying attention to ya, so i like that. R2D2 , i do hope the name is a pun and is short for something else cause that would be cool . Anyway, interesting theme, nice designs for tight, basic and simple. I dunno, either Hank Thomas is really thin and tiny or R2 is really big,i think its the first one. And im also not sure if Hank is suppose to become legit charachter or a filler charachter anyway on to the match. HA, i marked for Thomas getting kicked of the apron, trying to get back, only to get kicked off again, GTF off my apron! This match had a very entertaining pace . Some interesting reversals. It probably wans't intentionaly but i liked how R2 mocked Hank for pretty much doing his finisher as a normal move. Match didnt drag on. No move choices that made me go "wtf" altough Hank picking anyone up R2's size is doubtfull. Match really told a nice story, two rookies taking it outside, giving it there all in their first match. Mark out moment of the match : Two running boots at the apron! GTF of ma Apron! Rating: *** 1/2 Mark Rotch vs Omerta Quick somebody call the cops ! Somebody stole Matsuda's coat ! I demand ..a coat vs carreer match right now! Anyway i think the coat is kinda matsuda's trademark their but ill leave that to him. A very good caw, fitting attire, i dig it. Omerta...i dont hate how he looks, i dunno what it is,can't really pinpoint it out. Match was decent. Didn't really tell a tale . Omerta's moveset was a bit better now, less all over the place. The moves that mike did manage to pull of really looked good on him, hope to see him in a match versus somebody that can bring out a better match in him. Mark out moment of the match : None really Rating : ** -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Tha Show Begins Hazard vs Justin "Not Wearing " Greene This match starts in a typical hazard fashion. Spotflastic move at the start, lucky Green also picks up this pace and the starts out pretty fun. Okkkkeeee...markout Reverse Hurricurana from top rope...nice... . I liked Hazard's creative Backflip taunt into legdrop to the groin. This match...it progresses not as smoothly as i think both are able to . Magic cant happen all the time, but i've seen both Hazard and Green in a higher quality match and i was expecting more from this. Looking forward to see this two hook up a match somewhere later this year. Mark out moment of the Match: Jump rope Reverse hurricurana from Top TB Rating : *** David Jackson vs Dorian Arnaud Not gonna review this match. Appears laggy and the guys keep facing the camera guy, who for some reasons decided to attack Arnaud after getting accidently hit off the apron...fking idiot. Matsuda "The Original Coat owner" vs Paul " has shirts in all colors" Pugh Best first 40 sec of a match ever. <<<< . Unfortunatly for us all the match couldnt keep up that high quality of awesomeness troughouth the match. Infact the middle of the match became quite awkward.. it seems there is such a thing as to much roleplaying/showboating/taunting in the match as the match pace almost died out to a compleet standstill at one point and allot of whips to the TB. The ending was alright, Matsuda hitting his finisher twice to make sure that it seals the deal was something i liked. Greatest start of a match ever,to bad it didnt maintain. Still a good match but had a chance of pure epicness. Mark out moment of the match : First 40 sec of the match Rating : *** 1/2 Dane Xavier vs Tiberius Dupree This match just pretty much is at a compleet different level then the previous matches. Just the difference in amount of reversals in the first half of the match is quite entertaining. Both guys pin after big moves, both guys know when to taunt, both guys have spots, i liked Danes, Strong WHip into exploder supled and i like Dupree's Christo into ..that other submission. The first 10 min of the match are great, but as i pause to type this i see a big bar remaining and that could be a bad thing, lets hope it's not ! Dupree builds momentum hits his comeback but fails to follow up and imidiatly gets whipped into the corner by Dane. ( Running irish whip, also something i dont see many others do and after a reversal like this one it is just perfect, loved it ) And altough Dupree hit his comeback entirely Dane puts odds back in his favor by two big suplexes, nice. Then a nice altercation of events occur . Two sigs get hit and dane hits finisher kick...but Dupree gets up immidiatly all dazed, fucking epic. What does Dane have to do to keep Dupree down?! Also a nice mention is that its almost i think 22 min into the match and just at this point in the match both guys are going towards their "bigger" turnbuckle moves. Geezus christ why doesnt this match end yet, i feel like every second now something is going to happen that will taint this freaking awesome match. Dane lands a few strikes, reversed, Dupree lands a series of strikes, reversed into Dane's power of the punch ( Vega cry's , as Vega also likes to mention that even at this point of the match neither of them have hit duplicate moves ) Both Dane and Dupree seem to realise that some limbs need to become damage or this match will never end. Dane goes for a series of leglocks and leg ddt and Dupree works on the head and body some more. Another great succesion of moves when Dane hits his full strike combo followed by the backhand, looked awesome. Hmmmm at this point there is still a good amount of bar remaining goddamit . Dane hits his kick a 2nd time but knowing the previous ofcourse a kickout occurs. I kinda hope the remaining of the vid is an RP but i fear this is not going to end well. Yeah now were reaching the point where it really should have ended, 3rd finisher from Dane. And altough irishi whip become more frequent at this point frustration would kick in with anyone even though Dane is still not hitting duplicate moves. Dane hits a 4th finisher this time its Dupree's but it get's a ropebreak and it sucks that it didnt end their as the difference between reversals and finishers hit has simple become to big at this point. At this point im hoping for some kinda edited ending as this match, is golden gem already at this point, but not much later after this Dupree hits his finisher in the middle of the ring and it's all over. Mark out moment of the match : ..i listed them all i think Rating : **** 3/4th This was a very highly competitive match, yet highly entertaining at the same time. And even after only the 2nd finishers and for into the 25 min mark it was still pure awesomeness. I will admit i was rooting for Dane near the end as even the 3rd finisher was hit in a incredibly nice manner and to me the match could have ended their and not take anything away from Dupree but the difference in reversal became to huge near the end. Awesome match, just pure greatness. Tyro Kraven vs Leonheart Wow..my own match falls in comparison to the previous one . I'm 200% more aware of what im doing during a match so i hope pretty much all matches will be entertaining to see, not braggin or anything. This was a pretty strait to the point match. Leon got some moves in but didn't seem to get a momentum going to turn the match to his favor. A good, to the point match, no awkwardness . Not gonna rate my own match, ill let others do that :p

A wrestler withouth entrance music is like a ....i cant come up with something flashy but you get the idea. Unless the music that you use belong to a company that is known for being an ass about it, they wont bother if its a video with just a 100 or 1000 + views. Might i add if we're gonna do commantairy that people turn their VOICE volume off , so we dont hear Michael Cole and Jerrry.

Riot Special 3 Hour Edition! & Riot Card
The Vega replied to Mr.Richard Blood's topic in The Daily Suplex
i think a 2nd show either it CCW or something else would be a positive thing. Old people rejoining or just people feeling like there having fun again to create alts, like em or hate em i think relying on one show and maybe have 1 match in 2 weeks would kill allot of enthousiasm people are having atm i think. And well my last 2 vids didnt do to well, foo! -

It depends what you try to portray really. Nothing wrong with how your caw looks but do you want to keep the look or the moves ? If your gimmick or thing is that you have un natural strenght, there are some power moves you can take, but there are limits. I mean a Bearhug and an Oklohoma slam are moves that require some muscle and strenght and weight lifting, where a Chokeslam or Choketoss can be sold more believable. But yeah like i said, nothing wrong with how your caw looks in general, its just the moves that dont fit. Making him bigger will look akward i think. -

Review Time! Kale Lockhart vs Omerta Kale Lockhart, not bad of a charachter, like the overall feel of the guy, lose the soccerball kicks though, they dont fit. I for one dig the Torture rack finish. Omerta...unique look i guess. While looking at the match i just hope that Omerta is playing a charachter with an identity crisis, that he thinks he's a superheavyweight or something. Or that he's a substitute for whoever Kale was suppose to fight. Cause if not i quite frankly pretty much hate every move that got executed by Omerta and kinda hope i dont have to see him ever again. Choke toss, Choak slam...big boot Oklohoma slam's ...triangle chokes and bearhug...really? Even if its for a gimmick,it just looks plain awfull, the guy not being muscled or tall enough to do any of the moves Brian Lee / Justin Green vs Mez Murdoch Omar Gibbs Start with the 2 technical guys. I like Mez Murdochs moveset, his strike combo is fits very nicely. Nice spot where Bryan Lee escapes to the outside, taunts, Murdoch chases, Lee punches, gets blocked and eats a boot. This match is pretty damm long, i think i watched 15 min of the match and it was on half so skipped trough the rest. Ace "The Jaw" Angel vs BEDLAM Classical music intro, lack of theme for the guy or is that his intro ? Classical music for the match is a little meh though, feels like im falling asleep:p Pretty one sided match, Angel seemed to not be able to reverse much, match took probably longer then it should have. The nutgrab was a bit weird but heh,not judging their lol. Ok match. Jay FX vs ??? Ha! That was nice,i marked for this. Jookie Marley vs Dane Xavier This was a good match. Nothing fancy happend, enjoyed watching Dane allot more now that he mixes stuff up and let's people get a breather once and a while, Dane dominated with style taunting and setup up his spots, nice. D.Jack / Hazard vs Paul Pugh / Dorian Arnaud D.Jack/Haz,the tagteam of ever changing attires, huah. Dig Hazards red outfit. Match starts out pretty even . Marked out for Hazard's reversal of Arnauds brainbuster into sig> finisher. Match was alright, gimmick and tag matches will always end akward so..not bother by it. Aries vs Pato/Leon There is no need to comment much for this match. Since it this match being a very story driven one. Till the story kicks in the match is good,Aries getting somoan'd like a ragdoll lol. And Pato's shins being kicked to shitz. K.Dangelo vs Iceberg This match was very lagy and ended with one finisher so not really fair to review or comment much on the matc. Ill review the last few matches tommorow -
I dunno who it is ...but i'm pretty sure that he kicks...cause everybody kicks..
-
Cause he doesnt have the epic caw creating skillzz that we have ...HOOAH Just fooling around ofcourse. But it is a big reason for guys looking how they do . Not being able to have a feel for the CAW system.
