It might be a little early to say this but I'm really happy with the direction just about everyone is going this season. Everybody seems to be involved with something. Everyone looks good (even though KD butchered both attires I made for him... he didn't ruin my body morphing so I consider that a win). So far this has just been a very very solid show, albeit a little light on the matches. I see OCW's landscape right now like General Zod's planet terraforming device. Alignments are shifting, stories are falling into place. Its all very cool. Even Aces and Apex are shaping up nicely, although I don't completely understand whether or not KD is in it or not. Either way its good to see him involved with something. Positivity gets no discussion though so I will say one thing. I hate Matsumoto. I like Espado. I like KD. I like Kat. But I hate Matsumoto more than I hate he who should not be spoken. He's a mishmash of other people gimmicks that they've used recently enough, and is a disrespectful representation of Japanese wrestling and Japanese people. Just saying.

Because I am obviously the most reasonable member of TR (\m/) and I'm raging mad about having to watch my team job out to the FREAKING RAIDERS, allow me to rant a little and lay down the law so all you sons of bitches can begin to discuss that my return to full time competition is the best thing to happen to OCW in sixteen years. First of all. Cody deserves a title shot. Bottom line. And I'm sure he will get it. The issue is, and you would know this if you consistently watched wrestling (which I know you don't Cody, not that there is anything wrong with that) a guy returns for a title shot AFTER the current feud has concluded. Unfortunately for you, you had to take some time off, which obviously cut the dick off of your momentum going into a title shot that I'm POSITIVE you would have gotten this summer, but that's simply the way it is. you're in line, just not at the front of the line. Its good to be in line at all. Second of all, if Cody's gimmick is going to be I WANT MY TITLE SHOT, that is one hundred percent perfectly FINE. The only reason it miffs you guys is because you know thats how he actually feels in real life. At the end of the day, no matter how much you hate to admit it, its the exact same thing as betterness or overness or whateverness. The issue is what he DOES with this gimmick. The Cody Storm CHARACTER has been screwed out of multiple title shots, that is a true thing, so him being pissed off about not getting that IN CHARACTER is fine... (Now I'm going to go off on a little tangent about the difference between CHARACTER and IRL, so skip ahead this is just a rant... fuggin Raiders) This is why I've always had an issue with people who "make themselves" or base their character on themselves. They care too freaking much because when your character gets slighted, you feel as though you have been slighted. The floodgates of buttpain open up when Cody Mcardle thinks the system is against him because Cody Storm isn't getting whats coming to him. People who are able to make this disconnect tend to actually... well... enjoy this game (See Pato). ...so anyways, Cody IN CHARACTER should be mad! The issue here, however is that we all know (or maybe I'm wrong, I hope so!) that this will lead to absolutely nothing for Cody until he gets this title shot. Say, however, that someone like Sean in character decides that he's tired of Cody's bitching and that he deserves a title shot as much as he does. They fight. The match gets high regard. Both guys are elevated, and it gives something for Cody to do for the month or so that this current World Title feud goes on. The show quality is improved. Everybody freaking wins. About the title picture being a poetry club. At the end of the day, OCW is not strictly competition based. Its not even like it was in the olden days. OCW is a living breathing thing that changes over time, which is why it has lasted for NINE FREAKING YEARS while TNA has gone away and changed its name. It just so happens that we are living in an era where OCW is a HYBRID Competition/Story Based animal. Think of it like if WWE was a MMA company. To get your foot in the door, you need to bring the right credentials. A good look, a good character, and be entertaining. When you get yourself into the dance, thats when its competition. Complaining about the Steves million title shots is stupid. He's not even around anymore. Not to mention at the end of the day hes a legend so he's held to a different standard. If Stone Cold came back tomorrow (more aptly at the end of the Big Show Randy Orton feud... see how that works?) he could be in the title picture for the next six months and no one would bat an eyelash. And you know what? It did suck for everyone else. And maybe Dimsmore has gotten a few too many title shots (sorry buddy \m/) but over the past few months, the title matches have been pretty well spread out, including a title shot for Mugen, if my concussed brain remembers correctly (might have been another title). Your vision might be a little skewed because we've had one PPV and thusly one title shot over the past 3 months. At the end of the day, this is a hobby. Have fun. You don't need a title to get into great storylines and have fun (see Tibby vs Suda I, got us on freaking WRESTLUTION). The quality of the show goes up when people are working together and doing storylines. And THAT is what we should all care about. Not WHENS MUH TITLE SHOT, it should be HOW DO I MAKE MUH RIOT BETTER. In football, especially pro football, when things don't go your way, you don't get to complain about it for more than a few hours before you have to put your nose to the grind stone and get back to work to MAKE an opportunity again. Cody, things didn't go your way. You'll get whats coming to you. UNTIL THEN, put your nose to the freaking grindstone and do something entertaining. I know you can. Villain goes over.

Actually thinking about it, I completely agree with Pugh on what Cody's return should have been. Granted I don't mind Sillybus aside from their two hour entrance sequence, but if Cody wanted momentum to get a title shot that would have been the way to go. Say he made his big return and with Leon's help he turns on Sean McGee, who legitimately became too big of a star in both of their absence. Have a good month long feud that Cody probably ends up winning (sorry Sean \m/) and you have a Hebrew on a roll into a title shot. It's a much more interesting story and feels less stagnant.

Oh and also Pugh (\m/) is a shaky champion this year. He was a beast last year but this better not be the start of a storyline championship year. We need to get a title defense ASAP so a better PLAYER can hold the most important championship.

I wish everybody didn't steal your entrance... Anyone who watched a show last year (and maybe even the year before?) should know that it's taken. And while I'm complaining I might as well rant. I wish some if you guys would fix your body morphing. It's not proportional or realistic, and it looks bad and you should feel bad. I wish faces didn't threaten the handicapped. Legitimately cringeworthy. And while I commend you guys for doing something, I wish the new Apex wasn't a carbon copy of a crappy angle that's still on tv. There's a difference between parody or inspiration and straight ripping off. But it's early so I'll see where it goes. I didn't like the fake reveal at the end with Parker (\m/). Partially because I hate sillybus' stupid long entrance but also because I felt like the real reveal could have at stood alone. I don't like Dimsmores (\m/) entrance with Lacy, though I doubt there are many options available. Then again this is a newish Dimsmore. I'm sure I'm missing some stuff. Also, I'll post what I liked later, because positivity doesn't get you people to talk about things.

I don't know what we can do about it, but role plays on top of role plays look like a jumbled mess. Not a shot at anybody just a symptom of a buck of people doing a bunch of writing, so I guess I can't complain.
