I agree with you here, there were some points in the middle which were a little off, but I don't necesarilly think it was because of the ring psychology, more a acombination of that with the fact that Pugh and I don't play very often in DMs. We went through the match literally calling spots throughout, (ie: "you want it? okay throw me off the turnbuckle... shit you missed!") I feel like if we were to do it again, it would have went much more smoothly, but I still think it was a good match. If it was Matsuda v. Dupree 5, we would have brought the house down, its all about the DMs! So what do you guys think about LSD's return? I for one am pretty excited, we're going to see a return to that darker, brooding, brawler Lucas Dimsmore that we used to see on Ambition. But who will his first target be? Hm...

Definitely got Clockwork Orange vibes from BEdLAM. And I definitely like his look, he reminds me of the Mayhem guy from those auto insurance commerciials. And I agree, I don't like the accordian rack or a submission in general on Lockhart, considering that he is supposed to be relatively new to wrestling, I don't see him doing locks or holds. I see him wrestling like a less technical Mr. Perfect, tbh.

I remember after the first Riot of the new year, people were speculating as to whether or not we could keep it up. Here we are almost a month later and we have arguably our best show of the year... good work guys! I guess I'll start discussion... What do you guys think of Kale Lockhart? Generic white guy #7? Blue chip athlete? Hostile alt #24? I for one was expecting him to be a combination of one and three upon first impressions in DMs, but after this show I have a different outlook. I see him as a young guy and new comer to wrestling who managed to get a match through association with some work out buddies. I feel like the progression of his career will be his evolution from wrestler to entertainer, as of right now he doesnt have much personality or much of a gimmick outside of pure athleticism--but I forsee him going from wearing someone elses trunks to becomming his own superstar. Thoughts?

Theres a reason whyy guys that roleplay and put on watchable matches are held in higher regaurd--its obviously not about wins and losses. Case and point: Pugh :P

Legitimate strategy? Yes. But from a standpoint of trying to put on entertaining matches it looks like shit and like you're trying to take advantage of a game mechanic. Not saying nobody in wrestling holds a hold, but they sure don't do it every time they pick someone up. Reversals happen in an entertaining match.
