  1. Watch your mouth before I have to put on the boots again and shut it for you.
  2. I'll let you keep thinking that.
  3. Below you?
  4. The main event involved Nate the suber face, versus the Tibby the former super face, and at the end Tobin the guy trying to be the next super face. This is the first time I've gotten to truly play one of the guys who made it to the top after I was gone. Do to things beyond my control couldn't really do what I wanted to with Aries, maybe sometime soon we can make that one right. But given the chance Tibby was the current guy I wanted to play against. I looked at the ending as the progression from the Golden Era, to Ambiton, to whatever is next. You're right that Tibby didn't need the torch passed to him. Between him, Parker, Pugh and other guys things have been fine for a while. I thought of The Rock vs. Hogan in the sense that The Rock didn't need to fight Hogan, but it is one of those matches that they wanted to have and people wanted to see. Since I'm around might as well get to have those matches I missed out on having while I was focusing in on my degree.
  5. So from the last thread the Champ and the Boss man aka my father in brought up Nate vs. Majin as feud. So I figured I go ahead and write about it since I kind of have first hand knowledge of it. During the summer of 2006 and into the fall OCW’s top two factions at the time were in the midst of one hell of a feud. That is Revolution Inc vs. Theatre of Pain (T.O.P.). This saw the Majin vs. Kage feud, Guy vs. Versus part 1, the rising of Steven Jones and many other great things. It was during this time that Nate after winning the OCW Championship at Summercide would get buried alive at September 2 Remember. Following that event due to a shovel to the head Nate became Zombie Nate under the control of T.O.P. Nate would eventually come back to normal and set up OCW first player made PPV known as Red Sunday. On this show we had the Faction Frenzy match which saw 5 members of Revolution Inc. take on 5 members of T.O.P. in a gauntlet style match. The end came when Nate defeated Majin to secure the victory. That was the first time that Nate and Majin would cross paths in the ring. Months would pass and after Unifying the OCW and European Championships Nate would face Guy Fausto (who was the King of OCW winner) at The Clash. Majin would come in and DDT Nate but it didn’t cost him the match, it was a That’s Sensational superkick from Our Hero that did the job. This set up a triple threat match at Summercide that saw AJ Phoenix win the OCW Championship defeating Nate and Guy Fausto. Following that match Nate would be attacked by Majin and that two would battle in the parking lot. The battle went all the way to the top of a fire truck where Nate was pushed off by Majin. Majin was the hired hitman of Mr. Sensation to put an end to Nate for being with Sensation’s daughter. http://www.ocwfed.net/recapppv/Summercide%202007/10.htm Things were thought to be all good and well for Majin and company but at September 2 Remember of that year a not so mysterious video would play. http://www.ocwfed.net/recapppv/September%202%20Remember%202007/10.htm More videos would play in the coming weeks leading up to Devils Night where Majin challenged Nate to a buried alive match. Nate would make his return as a darker version of himself wearing face paint similar to that of The Crow. Nate would bury Majin alive. But the next month Majin would return as Blake Majin and defeat Nate in a Lumberjack and Jill match that had Casey Paine and Mr. Sensation at ringside. Blake Majin is the same hardcore brawler with a lot more flair so to speak. This event is also notable because at the end of the night RD Money and Malu Polamalu would align themselves with Mr. Sensation and Majin. It also saw the reformation of Revolution Inc with Nate, Versus, and Blade. http://www.ocwfed.net/recapppv/Chill%20Faktor%202007/8.htm In the coming weeks Majin would win the OCW Championship from AJ Phoenix. This set up the final encounter between Nate and Majin at The Clash. In the weeks leading up to the event Nate made a statement about not needing the title to be on the line to fight Majin that he would come to regret. The match at the Clash was an Apocalypse match which involved best 2 out of 3 falls, one match catering to Nate’s style, and the other to Majin’s with the third if needed being a steel cage match. http://www.ocwfed.net/recapppv/The%20Clash%20Feb%202008/10.htm Nate would end up winning this match and the OCW Championship, or so everyone thought. But Mr. Sensation would come out and play a video of Nate saying he didn’t want the match to be a title match. So Mr. Sensation declares the match a non-title match. This match is also significant because the imposter Nate comes out and attacks Nate. This was a true kick start for the Nate Kage Feud. From here Majin would go on to feud with Guy Fausto into Wrestlution 3. This was a feud that wasn’t about a championship. It was about Majin wanting to ruin Nate because that’s what his job was. Nate was on a path of revenge against Mr. Sensation for costing him the OCW Championship all those months before. This was the first major hurdle that Nate would have to overcome before finally getting his hands on Sensation at Black Sunday in November of that year. Next time I’m going to look into the Majin vs. Kage fued that was also mentioned in the thread. So If there is an old-school feud that you’d like to go back to in the vault please let me know.
  6. The OCW Vault is a look back at some of the best feuds and matches of the Golden Era of OCW. These were the days where Guy Fausto, Nick Kage, Versus, and others held the place now held by the likes of Parker, Dupree, and Dimsmore. I figure I’d start with my favorite feud to be apart of because of all the backstory that goes into it. It just so happens that I’m apart of it but I promise this won’t be the Nate’s looking back at his glory days thing. The first feud I’ll look back on is Icon Vs. Icon, the story of Nick Kage Vs. Nate Ortiz as story 3 years in the making. This story can go all the way back to 2005 when Revolution Inc. was formed. The members consisted of Versus, Blade, Nick Kage, and myself. I had the OCW Championship at the time, and Kage and Versus ended up winning the tag titles (They won the tag titles by defeating Me and my partner BM Diggs). At the very first Road 2 Glory I ended up going heel and turning on my faction. This led to the first Wrestlution where I defeated Tyranny to retain the OCW Championship only to lose it to Versus right after. I went away for a while and in that time Kage ended up as OCW Champion. Flash forward to December of 06 and RD Money is OCW Champion. Kage had been screwed out of the belt months before and he was involved in a long Hardcore title feud with Majin (Which I will get to in future installments.) At Chill Faktor RD faced off against two men known as the Ex Presidents. They were disguised in masks of Presidents Carter and Clinton. In that match RD lost the belt to Carter who was revealed to be Kage. http://www.ocwfed.net/recapppv/Chill%20Faktor%202006/10.htm The following month in the Re-match RD was screwed again and was being attacked by Kage and President Clinton who was revealed that night to be Geomon one of the original era’s greatest heels. It was at that moment that I made the save for RD. Forming Franchize Greatness a tag team that took on Geo and Kage at the second R2G. After that match RD went on to Main Event WL2 against Kage while I fought Geomon on that show. From there Kage would lose the title to RD, who would then lose the championship to me. During this run as champion do to some random circumstances at Consequence 2007 it would be the reunion of Revolution Inc in a 4 way elimination match for the OCW Championship. Kage would eliminate Blade and Versus, but I beat him to retain the belt. Kage would be very bitter about this. Flashforward to R2G 2008. By the time this PPV rolled around neither I nor Kage held a championship. I was deep into a feud with Our Hero, Mr. Sensation, my father in-law. We had a falling out and he cost me the OCW Championship, and many other things. This led to a reformation of Revolution Inc, and the formation of a heel group known as the Sensational Alliance. Kage had been involved in a long feud with AJ Phoenix over the OCW Championship but he was unable to regain the championship. One this night I teamed with Smythe to take on RD Money and an Imposter Nate. In this match Smythe ends up turning his back on Nate and helping RD and the Imposter win the match. In the aftermath I was beat down and the imposter was revealed to be Kage. http://www.ocwfed.net/recapppv/Road%20To%20Glory%202008/9.htm This put Kage and myself on a War path for WL3. Nate and Kage by this point both Nate and Kage had done everything there was to do in OCW. Both of us were Grand Slam Champions, and Hall of Fame wrestlers. We had done everything there was to do here except face each other. We were equals and the Yin and Yang of OCW. Nate being the ultimate good, and Kage being the ultimate bad. In the first match up I came out on top in what many considered a match of the night. http://www.ocwfed.net/recapppv/Wrestlution%202008/8.htm In the second encounter Kage came out on top. http://www.ocwfed.net/recapppv/EndGames%202008/8.htm This set up a Career VS Career match between the two of US. By this point we had both done all there was to do within OCW. We had feuded with just about everyone. And it came down to this for the both of us. One of us was going to legit end the career of our character with this match. This was the culmination of 3 years of storylines and matches. I really love this match because it also involves run ins by people who impacted our careers and we also had long lasting rivalries and friendships with. It was fitting that WL8 will be at the end of May probably May 26th which is almost the exact date of the anniversary of our final encounter which was May 25th, 2008 at Damnation. http://www.ocwfed.net/recapppv/Damnation%202008/10.htm This was the end for Nick, and a year later I’d pretty much be gone to. It was a long journey and it was some of the most fun I had being involved here. Please do take a look at the matches, let me know your thoughts. Also if you have any feuds you’d like me to look back on PM me. I plan to do this every couple weeks. Thanks for checking this out. Until next time OCW. From OCW HQ “The Franchize” Nate Ortiz… out!
  7. What the money man said. Hope all is well boss man.
  8. Steve get it done.
  9. Happy Belated bday OCW.
  10. Good times, good times...
  11. My inlaw pretty much nailed anything I would have commented on this show. Just a note on sig/finishers. If you want a move to be yours and no one else to have it then keep it for a long time and establish it. No one usses the Angle Slam because it's been mine for 5 years even though im not active at this moment. No one uses the Satan's BFF's DVD because he's had it forever. Keep your finisher from year to year and then theres no issue.
  12. Smythe was a much "OCW Champion" as Michael Heaton was. Leon he's more talking about the fact that i passed up a casket fin to do a fin on the dirt before attempting to toss ya in the casket which you didn't. Ryder you gotta take people giving you shit until you earn the praise. But right now the jury is still out. There was more to the show than the interesting turn of events on the final page.
  13. Sign, Zombie Nate back from the grave to check in. Schools taken up 100% But my wheel chair riding dad is back to keep things a rolling. Just want to touch on shows. The conduct policy I put in place is still in place. If there isn't enough content for a show there just won't be a show for that week.
  14. I don't have my opinion too fast, not being cocky a jerk, or anything like that but if there was a poster boy for that perk it'd be me. And I would not like taking a win cause i had a perk that saved me from a hard fought match. It's not like resil actually makes the matches better. All we've seen is it cause drama and make matches run on to long as myself, smythe, and guy can attest to it running to a match way longer than needed. That's the last i'll say on resil. My comment on resil wasn't pointed directly at you Air but at the whole fed. As it's caused more harm that good. But if people can take the time to complain about resil, they can take the time to talk about something you like.
  15. Some pretty solid stuff as far as RPs and such. But i'll say come next game there will be no resil for anyone it's crappy no matter who has it IMO. We shall see to that challenge. Comment if there is something you liked.
  16. He wasn't approved just he posted enough for the account to be adjusted to applicant
  17. OCWXcalibur (10:55:52 AM): Nate you there? OCWXcalibur (11:17:16 AM): Nate, please, I know you don't believe me but I'm telling you the truth. I'd never want to kill OCW, all I've ever wanted to do was help. I wouldn't spend so much time on show content if that weren't true. OCWXcalibur (11:19:15 AM): Now Baxter has shown me the apparent conversation with Trips, I haven't used that AIM account since I made this one. OCWXcalibur (11:20:31 AM): I unlinked it the day I created this account. OCWXcalibur (11:53:11 AM): This is the only thing I can figure about what happened. Not too long ago my myspace was phished, and around the same timeframe, Baxter and I were in a party and Hellservant happened to join it. My myspace password was the same password I use for everything, AIM, email, etc. I changed that password on myspace and my AIM accounts, but since that AIM account was unlinked I gave no thought to changing the password on it. OCWXcalibur (11:56:37 AM): And with all the mention of Hellservant, he must be involved. OCWXcalibur (12:00:40 PM): Nate, I'd never do something like this. I wanted to join Rev Inc. and I was focusing on getting back into college for my bachelors. OCWXcalibur (12:01:20 PM): I wouldn't even know how to go about doing what's been talked about in that conversation. OCWXcalibur (12:03:12 PM): whoever had this conversation with Trips knew what they were doing, they were trying to get me banned
  18. I gave trips a fan account when he became unbanned. That was a lie like most of the stuff Rox said in that convo.
  19. None of the matches ended up being used and Trance ended up advancing anyway.
  20. When someone writes something in color that means in character. If it's white text then it's out of character. I'm the facilitator for Alex. She makes the matches for the shows, i'm here for major issues and PPVs. Me and VFM are back as Rev Inc to get the story driven things going again as well.
  21. HC title is retired, and everyone who isn't working on a storyline, getting in contact with VFM, being proactive isn't going to get a damn thing.
  22. Have you gotten a PM sent to VFM? Have you gotten an angle going with someone? Have you PMed the GM requesting a match?
  23. that catchphrase was used by someone else please find something else.
  24. when I see TGS, I think of The Girlie Show on 30 Rock.
