Cody Storm Posted August 27, 2012 Posted August 27, 2012 Sorry guys, I thought we were PG-13.... I still have to watch 'Cide, I haven't even managed to finish Riot. I got attacked by Guild Wars 2 coming out earlier than I had thought and I just kind of pushed everything else aside. Let it be known though, that I'm very unhappy with my contribution to the PPV and I apologize for it. Also, Jake did not flake, Florida got hit with a hurricane/terrible rain that took out his internet. It was a nice attempt to vilify the man though, top notch.

With Flake Storm M.I.A. last minute and getting hoodwinked by the Euros out of the Futer Investment match my RP and angle got gutted and butchered unfortunately. Mez and I had a few treats for y'all that will just have to wait till September... Matsuda Posted August 28, 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 Discussion's dying out, so it's Q&A time! Parker had a very profound video promo to start things off when he said that the events of tonight could very well change the landscape of OCW. With the FI pretty much guaranteeing a new champion in the new future, a new permanent GM, and the closing of a few feuds among other things, what do you think happens with RIOT this week? Say what you will Cody, but this isn't the first time that Jake didn't show up. Not that I care either way if Jake ever has an OCW match, but do you guys think that they really deserve another shot at the next PPV with more tag teams forming? Just a question. Parker wins a long deserved title shot. Does he cash it in to get the one on one that he's never had before or does he take advantage of the champion when he inevitably gets smashed by LOTUS? How does that effect his character? I'm looking forward to seeing the Rising Sons debut (even if Matsuda was in the original Rising Sons tag team in Japan... just saying. Its in a promo. Look it up.) With more tag teams showing up, do you think anyone can take on the A-TEAM? Matsuda and Pato put a hurting on Tibby and Steve a few weeks ago, but theres a bit of a conflict of interest there ;) Does anyone actually like Arnaud and want to see him in things? Just a question. Unfortunately, Football season has taken me away from Ladies Night, though I still think the Bombshells still have a lot to offer to shows. What role do you see them playing in the future? McGee misses the biggest match of his career and comes out of the pay per view more over than ever. Whats next for OCW's hottest young commodity? Jumping everyone in sight... awfully LOTUS of him... Bothe Steve and Tibs have promos talking about eras, in what was probably the last clash of the golden and ambition eras. Does Dupree's victory tonight signal the solidification of the ambition era? I like the Romero Jookie feud. Not really a question. Just a statement. The theme of the night was LOTEES WEEN. After winning three matches with big implications, its hard to deny that LOTUS LAW is in full effect. After eliminating the first wave of opposition, who steps up with Dupree to face their impending doom?! Since becoming Rypoo, many viewers were convinced that he was going to rocket to the top with his new weight class. Still, when the money was on the line at the PPV, Pughbertus breaks his winning streak to a cruiserweight no less. Whats next for Pugh? Does weight class really matter that much? 4
Administrators Mr.Sensation Posted August 28, 2012 Author Administrators Posted August 28, 2012 Scumbag OCW LOTUS IS DEAD Jobs 3 Times to LOTUS 15-06, 18:20 Tiberius Dupree make him tap with brownie mix "Booking Wrestling is the most thankless no-win position anyone could ever be in. When things go well it's the talent that makes it work. When they go badly, it's because the Booker doesn't know what he's doing." - Eric Bischoff Jookie: what website do we upload to againi for got Our Hero: uploadafraud.com Jookie: fuck u boricua "I'm like Smythe, except Good" - Matsuda OCW works best when it’s a melting pot of different ideas and opinions coming together to create some cool ass shit. It’s at its worst when people are only invested in their own/their pals’ content." - Paul Pugh "I'm 5,9" - Ry "I'm sorry if this sounds mean but OCW shouldn't be allowed to vote" - Jake Allen
Illuminati Posted August 28, 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 Discussion's dying out, so it's Q&A time! Still, when the money was on the line at the PPV, Pughbertus breaks his winning streak to a cruiserweight no less. Whats next for Pugh? Does weight class really matter that much? Many valid points but you have to remember he lost to THE cruiser-weight in OCW, so we can't get on Pugh-bear's case to badly. Back out of character I really did like this show over-all, I think its a good sign for things to come. For a long time Lotus has just sort of existed, hanging around in a match here and there on the card with maybe one big victory, but this show Lotus had its first really dominant showing since last year's Wresolution. I honestly thought we as a stable were losing steam, but this has turned things around and gotten us back on track. As a tangent from that, coupling LOTUS WEENS with LOLDUPREE WINS I think this pay-per view has really cemented the the Ambition Era as being very legitimate. However, I am concerned with Sean McGee getting cut out of that match, I thought he had a very real shot at winning and although I understand that there were time constraints I was dissapointed. However, Sean McGee seems like my BOI THE SUPAH-HERO D-Bry in that the harder you shaft/bury him the more over he becomes, so I'm not worried. I'll post more of my thoughts as they become pertinent but that's what I think. 2 http://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/234976199816773632/299960579206938624/image.png http://ocwfed.tv/recapppv/Award2k16/cyberbully2099.png
Aries Posted August 28, 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 I think the biggest mystery of all is... wasn't Brandon Hostile returning??
The Steve Posted August 28, 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 I have a minute in-between setlists here, so I'll answer the one pertaining to myself and the champ...and I'm not trying to be mean, but I don't think it solidifies the Ambition era quite yet. I think that the this LOTUS angle, if successful (and it's looking that way so far), will solidify the whole generation. However, I firmly think that Tibby solidified his place as one of the best ever to step foot in an OCW ring at Summercide. Sensation: "I'm an ignorant hispanic."
