Well. 6 Pages of discussion. I can retire again. #assesatkeyboards

I'm a big believer that the summer lull isn't a real thing. Its fabricated. Every single month in OCW is only as good as the guys "leading" it. This last few months, its been tough to watch. Yes, I get the "well we tried guys" sentiment, but honestly - all of the people who are still here can do better. People are getting on the right track and now we have a Champion who actually wants to work with people, I feel like that filters down to the rest of the roster.

From a very real standpoint - OCW just hasn't been good enough. Its tough to replicate the passion that we all had for the place the last few years, and as the passionate people die off, we need others to have a fire under them. "The fire" is an undying, unwavering need to feud with people, have the best match, improve the place.

Bobby has been busting his bollocks behind the scenes so that we have things coming up (not just his own storylines i might add) and I see Trance trying through his community outreach program.

OCW doesn't need (and never has) thousands of people on the roster. It needs everybody on the roster to be passionate about what they do and pull in the same direction. Hopefully thats what we can return to now I'm back and shouting at you idiots to work with me and staff to improve what we put out.

Hopefully, heres to a prosperous new era of OCW... until Raze accidentally wins the world title.

Hey, there's always the possibility that I could be much better on the RP side and the match side by the time that happens.

And it won't be a accident, Pughbert.

You have a lot of brand rehabbing to go through before anyone is gonna buy that Raze. You had made a lot of progress but a lot of that was unraveled when you saddled your dead weight on Trance's shoulders for the second half of your feud.

You can lead a raze to water and he'll drink it all and still be thirsty.

OCW's Damnation PPV Review

Before I write this review I just want to say I will be doing these every week for Riot, and every ppv. Expect these to keep happening as I do my part to be productive, and help discussion get back on track. On all matches I review I will give out a grade for the overall of the match. It don't mean if I give you a low grade for the match that I don't like a certain person or I'm being an asshole. I just grade it based solely on the match overall no matter who. A is the highest, F is the lowest.

F grade is the worst, and means the match was a trainwreck with problems, and ethics. The D grade means that the match was also filled with problems, but not as many, and had very few big spots. C would be average match that didn't disappoint or had any problems except maybe one or two, but also at same time didn't separate itself enough to have alot of stand out spots and moments. The B grade would mean the match was great, and enjoyable to watch. Nothing went wrong, had great spots, and moments, but maybe just missing that extra inch to make it go from B to A. Leaves A grade to be a "perfect" match. What makes a perfect match? For me it's the pace of the match, the storytelling inside the ring. The reversals, the spots, the flawless ethics, and fpr in the match. Going the extra mile to make sure the match looks awesome without needing to try too much. Match was so close that nobody lost the match until the very end where atleast a few finisher reversals occurred before someone hits it, and wins. It can be a title match or non title the grade remains no different.

So once again before I write this big review I will say these are only my opinions, and thoughts. Don't mean I dislike anyone because of a certain grade. You can have a D grade match one week, and a A grade match the next week. It all depends on those involved. It just means I want to be honest, and also give out constructive criticism to help push people to become better.

We kick off the show with a strong promo delivered by Pugh. The promo itself was strong, and very informative. I was pretty much caught up on anything I've forgotten, or missed out on leading up to this Pugh vs Minio feud that's happening. It'll be interesting to see what happens between these two further into the ppv based off Pugh's words in the opening segment.

Very entertaining promo by Drago Cesar. We got bears, forests like jungles in Long Island, corrupted park rangers, and one man sprinting like he's never sprinted before. I like the character, and his direction is that of only getting better. He already has the in-ring abilities to get the job done, and now slowly, but surely he's going to get there.

Page 2-

We turn our attentions backstage now as the cameras are with Jacob Trance, and The Family. I don't know too much as I'm slowly getting caught up, but I think it's cool that Trance has his own group. I figured they can be called the calorie killers, or the burn fat boyz? Reference to Fat Trance, but like I said it's cool to see the character direction of Trance, and the evolution he's taken to get where he is right now. There's probably not anyone else on this ppv card that has more momentum heading into a match than Trance does at the moment. I see the references thrown around at Trance's style of his promos, but I like it. It works for him because of everything he's been through, it's the next stage for Trance, and I'm curious to see where Trance takes the Family on his back.

BombShells Threesome Match-

Between Anna Mosity, Legion, and Molly was our first match of the ppv, but it wouldn't play for me. I couldn't view it. Something to do with the filter, but I was able to watch the rest of the videos which is strange. So I apologize for not sharing my opinion on this match. I would, but I can't watch.

It looks like we got ourselves a new tag team in OCW. I like the looks of both Shanes... instead I should say Shane #1, Shane #2, but I'm just going to call yall by your last names. I hope this tag team hits the ground hard, and keep full momentum going. I want to see tag team action more in OCW, hell even a tag division. If you build it... they will come. It's very true. I'm still uncertain about the theme song for the team, but I think yall can make it work. It's catchy, but I think it's more suited for a solo wrestler than a tag team. Bad Company is here to entertain, and win championships. I think they can, but it's up to them. Good luck, and welcome to OCW.

Page 3-

It appears Minio is coming down to the ring to address the situation for tonight. Minio is another I don't know much about, but slowly educating myself on these newer guys. His promo was strong delivered, and gave a good point across that Minio has momentum into tonights big match. Confidence goes a long way into winning big matches, and it appears Minio's confidence is sky high. Will that be a good thing or be his downfall? My opinion is take matches like any other match. No pressure, no worries, just go do the damn thing, and worry about it afterwards. Just my 2 cents... this match taking place tonight between McGee, Minio, Frost, and Illumnati went from being big to bigger with Sensation shaking up the ppv with one small cameo in the promo. Match is now a #1 contender match for OCW title thanks to Sensation... like I said no pressure, no worries. :)

Next up is a promo between two men who go into battle tonight...Cesar, and Fuentes. Another entertaining promo from two more of the newer guys. It appears Drago still has that beer whistle... that's cruel, Drago.

Luke Fuentes vs Drago Cesar Match- Grade: C

Before I comment on the match I just want to say I'm a fan of Luke Fuentes. He's got a look, he's got himself in good ties with some people. I see a bright future for Fuentes along with Cesar. This is a showcase of part of OCW's future. Should be good..let's get started. Neither person gets the upper hand early in the match as it goes back, and forth. Quick moves, and counters are the start of this match. A little bit of hovering, but overall it wasn't a problem. Things aren't looking too good for Feuntes as Drago is building strong momentum as he's keeping Feuntes grounded, and on the defensive. Alot of early pin attempts from Drago. Slowing Fuentes down.. good strategy.

At the 6min mark we finally take the match outside as Drago remains in control. Fuentes starts to get some offense in a bit more on the outside. I saw a missed chance for Fuentes to continue to aggressive attack on the outside instead of entering the ring. Giving Drago time to rest. Fuentes tried to hang on throughout the match, but once put through that table it marked the end for Fuentes in this match. Drago was on point with his reversals, and it showed to prove victory for him because of it. Fuentes is tough, and wouldn't go away, but needed to be aggressive instead of slowing the pace which is why he lost.

Next up is a promo backstage from Jookie Marley. The man that's too high to realize he was being on camera. It seems Jookie is more ready than ever before in his career. Tonight he has a big match, and task in front of him. Let's see if the time for talk is done, and if Jookie is really ready to take the next step so he can get that ex title shot.

Page 4-

Here we have a promo from A.C Cobra. My only problem with this RP is I don't know if it's backstage, outside, or inside. Not really a huge problem because the promo itself was written good. Put alot of hype into this match between A.C, and Jookie. A.C made some good points that we're gonna have to wait, and see if he can back them up to earn himself a shot at the ex title.

Next up is a hype video for the return of Smythe Da.Wonder. It's good to have him back, and can't wait to finally get a chance to beat him. Only person I have faced more than once, and not beaten. It's going to happen just like those colorful attires you used to rock out in.

Cameras are shown on Mugen, and Matsuda. It seems the two's bond grows stronger together, but Bobby Minio shows up. To stir up trouble, mindgames, or just being Minio? I'll let yall decide..I think Minio maybe right. Time will only tell it.

A.C Cobra vs Jookie Marley Match- Grade: C

We kick off the match with both men brawling. Going back, and forth, but it don't last long as Jookie starts to take control. Outch that botch dive through the ropes looked like it hurt, Jookie. Whatever weed you smoke is strong as you missed Cobra by a mile. So far the match is less highflying, and more of a brawl. Hopefully the pace quickens up a bit, and we see more flying. We're almost the half way mark in the match, and it's been all Jookie in control. Around the 5 min mark, and Jookie is first on deck to hit his signature.

The highflying picked up a bit, not much, but some. It got more interesting with the highflying. Being an ex wrestler you'll have to live with the risks of highflying, and not paying off. Cobra begins to slowly stay in the match, and mount a comeback. 8:20 min mark, and Jookie pays the price for getting too confident. 8:30 min mark of the match, and another botch suicide dive by Jookie. The ropes are betraying you, Jook. Spot of the match came with that kick from Cobra on Jookie at the 9:40 min mark. That shit looked like it really did hurt, but Jookie fights through it, and kicks out of the pin. Both men are now grasping at chances to finish the match, but it's Jookie that gets fired up with the wake up taunt, and boom it's all over after he hits his fin. Jookie for the victory. This match was hard to grade, but I gave it a C because there wasn't as much highflying as I thought there might have been.

Page 5-

Next up is a promo backstage with Tobin Frost. Another strong promo hyping up this 4way match between Frost, McGee, Illumnati, and Minio. I like the strong questioning of his own self, and the fire that burnt inside when he punched the mirror. I'm sorry to inform that you just got 7years bad luck hopefully that doesn't stop you from winning tonight.

S.S.D vs The Family Match-

Apparently just like the bombshells match I can't view this match either. It sucks because I really wanted to watch this match. I assume it was a great match with those involved in the match, and it being the only tag match so far. It keeps telling me the format is not supported. I can't get it to load on any of my media players.

Next is a promo from Sean McGee...or BUFFNESS. Everyone's hungry, but not everyone is going to eat. Let's see if plans remain the same for McGee in this match, or plans backfire. He could lose this match, but still walk out tonight a champion. Very interesting...

We have a promo here by Arnaud. He's talking for Matsumoto, and his intentions. It seems Matsumoto doesn't like Mugen although Mugen seems to be moving on. Maybe Matsumoto can become the Asian Stalker? New gimmick... BOOM! On the serious side I rather see someone else talking for Matsumoto than Arnaud. Basically Arnaud should become a manager only character, and keep the focus on Matsumoto on his own. Let him do promos in his language... who cares if we know what he says, it looks intimidating though. Or better yet get a speaker for him. Good potential in both, but needs direction.

Page 6-

Another promo from Minio. His match is up next. Will he win, or will what just happened in this promo be a distraction? I have no clue...

OCW Heavyweight Title #1 Contender Match- Tobin Frost vs Bobby Minio vs Illumnati vs Sean McGee- Grade: B

The match kicks off fast, and a brawl. Tobin targets Nati, and McGee against Minio. I feel sorry for Minio, and Nati. They both are men among giants inside that ring. Both Minio, and Frost regrets trying to fly as they both missed. Nati takes advantage of Frost down while Minio, and McGee continue battle inside the ring. So far McGee, and Frost are in control of their own battles. McGee is tired, and wants to hit someone different so he slides out the ring, and goes in pursuit of Nati. While Frost heads into the ring, and goes on the offensive against Minio. Nati decides to get some help, and goes for a chair.

Down goes McGee once Nati smacked him with the chair. So far Frost seems too strong for Minio until he get some help, and out goes Frost with a chair shot to the head. I would say both men should be out once hit with a chair, but I think the chair absorbed more damage than they did. The help for Minio doesn't last long as Nati tries to break the ankle with the chair, but messes up on the attempt. The matchup I was waiting to see.. Frost vs McGee. Both big men begin brawling with each other. Blow after blow with fists until McGee gets upperhand, and hits a devastating backbreaker on Frost. Minio regains control against Nati, and gets some payback as he lands a hard hitting ddt on the chair on Nati. So far this 4way is having a really good pace to it.

Just when I speak too soon the match gets clustered as all 4 men are surrounding each other, and just trying to fight off 3 other men at once. Double team move by Nati, and Minio on McGee, but Frost breaks it up. Isn't that nice of him after receiving a chair shot by McGee. A jaw breaking uppercut lands by McGee on Minio while Frost jumps off the 2nd rope, and hits a spinning back elbow on Nati.

Here comes another chair entering the match from Nati, but Frost is waiting for him with a strong slam. Spot of the night for me in this match so far is the botched attempt at Minio to fly at McGee knowing he has a chair in his hand, and ends up paying the price to fly with a chair shot. With Minio, and Nati both down then Mcgee, and Frost turns their attention to each other. Right now i'm calling it... it's between Mcgee or Frost to win this thing. McGee decides to up the violence, and brings in some steel steps. Gutwrench powerbomb on the steel steps by McGee delivered to Minio. Damn that looked painful... concussion? I think if Frost didn't pick him up he might have laid there whole rest of match. Frost gets creative, and goes for the kill with a submission on Minio, but got broken up by McGee. I think McGee should have went for the pin on Nati instead of continuing to fight Frost in the corner. I changed my spot of the match to McGee no selling the tossing of steel steps by Frost on the outside. Awesome... RKO outta nowhere by Minio on Nati on the outside. McGee, and Frost go back at it inside the ring. Back, and forth between the two.

First to be eliminated is Minio by Frost. It seems McGee takes the pin while Frost does the damage to Nati as he's eliminated shortly after. Now only two men remain... who has the endurance, and strength to finish this match? Both men go at each other. Hitting strong move after strong move. McGee gains control for a brief moment, and goes for the steel steps. My opinion McGee should have stayed all over Frost, and went for the kill. The german suplex off top rope on the steel steps by Frost to McGee was the mark of the end. Frost signals for the wakeup taunt... BOOM. Finisher is landed by Frost to McGee on the steel steps. Ouch.. back to back on the steel steps. I bet McGee really regrets bringing in those steps now. That seals the deal as Frost walks away with the victory, and your new #1 contender for OCW Heavyweight title. This match was awesome, I enjoyed watching it. I gave it a B although it deserves an A, but didn't give it due to it being a 4way because it's more about chance, and just surviving until the end.

We cut backstage to a promo from Justin Raze. Another one of the newer guys that I'm slowly learning, and catching up on. I dmed him a couple times, and he's pretty good. Another piece of the puzzle that is the future of OCW. We end the promo with someone laying the pipe... literally to Raze as he's knocked out by someone unknown. Who will it be? Was it a failed murder attempt? Raze better get revenge.

Page 7-

We see K.D in his locker room saying his prayers, and taking those vitamins. We see a determined K.D that's eager to fix the mistakes, right the wrongs, and take over OCW one victim at a time. Let's see if it holds true.

Next up is a recap hype video for the OCW Heavyweight title match. Showcasing the history between Trance, and Storm. Very well done, and edited. This right here is what makes matches stick out even more. When there's history between the two we want to see that history in a manner done like this.

We are shown McGee being carried out on a stretcher in bad shape as he points at Frost before being taken away. Lex Walker approaches Frost, highly upset, and confused. Frost explains that nothing wasn't done that McGee didn't cause on his own. It was going to be either Frost or McGee, and it just happened to be Frost pulling out the W. Like Frost said he didn't bring in those steel steps, although I bet he wants to thank McGee for that, but at the end I see Frost being a very tough opponent for whoever wins between Storm, and Trance. Is this the rise of Frost, or just a fairy tale with a sad ending?

The Main Event- OCW Heavyweight Title Match- Jacob Trance vs Cody Storm©- Grade: B

The match kicks off at a fast pace. Both men going back, and forth. Trance with a early suicide dive onto Storm. I can already see this gonna be a counterfest with whoever has the better strategy, and timing wins. The pace is fitting in really well with both styles of men. Although Storm is a little bit too big to run as much as he does. Just my 2 cents... Now the match has gone in favor of Trance with him getting aggressive, and getting much offense in. So far everything Storm throws at Trance he has an answer for. However I might be wrong as Storm gets some offense in, but does the one thing you don't need to do in a big time title match. Giving your opponent time to rest, think, and get back offensive when he could have been on the defensive instead. Trance regains control as he knocks Storm outside the ring, but Storm isn't giving up. He gets some good offense in on the outside, but runs back into the ring. Thats twice you should have stayed all over Trance outside the ring instead of giving him time to recoop. Only this time Storm doesn't make the mistake twice, and continues to be all over Trance. Getting good counters, and offense in. Something that was needed to make a comeback as Trance has been in control most of this match.

Trance plays it cool, and baits Storm out the ring. He takes the bait only to chase Trance back in the ring, and shortly after is hit with Trance's finisher. That wraps it up, and ends the match. Now we have ourselves a new OCW champion, and only thing I have to say is... who will step up to take on who I believe will be a strong fighting champion in Jacob Trance. Is OCW ready? Is Trance ready? Is the Family ready to protect Trance now he's become the biggest target in OCW? Alot of questions that will be filled in the next upcoming weeks on Riot. I'm for one is excited to see what Trance takes his OCW title reign, and what he does with it. Congratulations to both men on putting on a competitive match, and congrats to our new OCW champion. Good luck in the near future... I will get hungry myself very soon. :) Overall I enjoyed this ppv. Enjoyed watching, reading, and writing this review. Not the best, but for how many pages it was it was indeed great.

I wrote it while watching the PPV. So with me stopping during the ppv to write the review after every promo, and video it was probably close to between 2-3 hrs.
