He officially won the title Via Disqualification (Fausto had red rings) we made it work... So technically he was recognized as OCW champion for exactly 4 days... twas an Excellent PPV tho... I know big things are coming for em. Seems like there was an effort for everyone to contribute which is nice. No reason we can't continue that going forward. Nice to see Pugh back and eyeing that guy who can't hold on to a mic. I do think eventually he should come back into the title fold. Even if he doesn't wanted. Back in the day I was always dragged back into it haha. Happy for Jacob you've come so far since we worked together. But now I'm coming for you nucca as Booker T would say. KD I want you in a meaningful feud no reason you shouldn't be in high profile matches. Sorry Sean couldn't pass up those steps. Pugh Posted July 22, 2014 Posted July 22, 2014 Well. 6 Pages of discussion. I can retire again. #assesatkeyboards I'm a big believer that the summer lull isn't a real thing. Its fabricated. Every single month in OCW is only as good as the guys "leading" it. This last few months, its been tough to watch. Yes, I get the "well we tried guys" sentiment, but honestly - all of the people who are still here can do better. People are getting on the right track and now we have a Champion who actually wants to work with people, I feel like that filters down to the rest of the roster. From a very real standpoint - OCW just hasn't been good enough. Its tough to replicate the passion that we all had for the place the last few years, and as the passionate people die off, we need others to have a fire under them. "The fire" is an undying, unwavering need to feud with people, have the best match, improve the place. Bobby has been busting his bollocks behind the scenes so that we have things coming up (not just his own storylines i might add) and I see Trance trying through his community outreach program. OCW doesn't need (and never has) thousands of people on the roster. It needs everybody on the roster to be passionate about what they do and pull in the same direction. Hopefully thats what we can return to now I'm back and shouting at you idiots to work with me and staff to improve what we put out. Hopefully, heres to a prosperous new era of OCW... until Raze accidentally wins the world title. 1 No.
