I'm saying I wasn't protected; but pulled through anyway. Last week the Tv champion got the much harder opponent in Sid, while the Turmoil champion was supposed to get Austin. That's not a knock on Austin at all, but we call Sid Sidberg for a reason. He's a beast.

Doesn't Tank losing two weeks in a row, and Jimmy losing to Axton hurt their match?

In Pugh's turmoil, Pugh doesn't lose to nate.

Also the protecting thing only works if everyone is down for it, hence why ed getting juggled by bray was always gonna happen. If you wanna build someone artificially, everyone has to be on board. Although, you can tell more about how a dude reacts to a loss, rather than a win, so it could be spun into something before Dennis dismantles him

It certainly hurts Tanks bully character, or so he said himself. I said to him to take losses in his stride and just use it in his writing.

What Pugh said is right, lose? Fine. Do something with it.

the highlighted difference being, he is in a title match and had benefited from having 3 protected matches against alts. Therefore he was befitting from Storyline protection as I saw it.

I'm sure Bray was booked against Ed to highlight this specifically. Hopefully everyone has learned their lesson now lol.

Would liked to have seen Bray start a feud with Dennis after 115, but that never happened and I'll never understand why,. Instead, the week after, he and Tank were groping each other backstage and ended up in a no dq match...

This kind of thing in particular annoys me, as story opportunities are either ignored or unnoticed. I'll think, " Maybe Joe can go this direction, but wait, so and so doing this would make more sense, so I'll give them space to run with it instead." Well if people don't go through certain doors, I will instead.

Dennis, your photo submission reminded me of ffviii when you see you all the black and white stills over the intro credits. You even sound like Squall:

Energetic lady: How would I know? Okay! Such a great actor. I don't know how you keep up the whole never smiling thing. So brooding! Such focus. Have you ever considered movies?

You can say protection is bad and that I was protected. But the point he made is that our match was not. But Come on now, we really shouldn't throw stones when it comes to protection. The triple threat is wearing three small condoms, a magnum, and some aluminum foil right now. B17, Jackson, and kass haven't had a hard match since Jackson won the title. It's been a lot of no shows, protests; and squash matches. And next week ya'll are gonna debate? The show should revolve around the three of you showing why you deserve the title match at the biggest show. There's been more explaining why those three spots are claimed, not much showing. Three quality matches is what was needed, win lose or draw. After everything the build up to our main event title is a debate. Come on now, this ain't shimmer.

The matches I've had up until Bray were done by me reaching out to people and requesting matches. I knew I was going to get carried in rp, but I did my part to build a feud because I did not want heat because I only had one match going into Lution. I wanted to tell a story to show I belonged where I was. it wasn't handed down by the higher ups to make up for mistakes of the past.

Did I lose to a top guy that isn't treated like one? I did. No shame there. Won't be last loss either. I don't care about losing so long as it looks good. Bray knows that. And that top guy lost to my opponent at Lution, another top guy that doesn't get treated like one. And 'if' I lose to Dennis, I'm sure I will go down swinging. But keep in mind who hasn't lost to Dennis since he got annoyed by the Tank gate bs? Who has beat him since? No body. He's been putting in content weekly and He hasn't lost since Tank. The same can't be said for a lot of us: So when my friend comes off as salty for not even being considered as a cornerstone or whatever the hell while winning and writing well, I cant blame him.

I didn't really come out of no where. I joined when Sophia and Dennis did back in January. But I wanted to make a impact so I waited. After Tank he had Bray and Joe back to back. We wanted to feud but he had some things to take of first to make it legit. If he lost to either of those guys, Big Ed wasn't going to be in the title picture. Dennis was going to challenge either of the two that beat him. I was third string. Choice #3. That was our agreement. I didn't want to take anyone's spot. But he beat Joe, and then Bray the week after. No other mid card guys were on the come up during that time. So Why would I turn down the shot? So we moved forward and Dennis was attacked the week after by Ed.

As fer getting juggled, I don't really think It was that serious. But everyone has an opinion. It will take a bit to understand what I'm getting into before each match. Things come into play like who plays aggressive, thurst, who taunts a lot. Some homies will pin you on nothing but finishers while others will beat you with a hip toss if they can. Just takes time to learn the roster. You get a different type of match depending on who you face.

Take Joe for example. (No disrespect) He had Bray last week and got dominated for the most part. And a week later he faces Dennis and already handicapped by damage and looks like a million bucks? How does that happen? Is Joe a good player? Yep. Mofo is always asking for DMs. But that match doesn't put on the show that it did without Dennis helping it flow. There was always a belief that Joe was going to pull it off. And he very well could have. The chance was always there. Joe 'and' Dennis helped Joe look like crisp money last night before Dennis went for the win. That's what al of us should be trying to do. It makes the one sided affair last week forgettable because Joe faired so well with a belt holder.

You can be competitive while making it interesting. You can be competitve without blowing someone out of the water. That's not something everyone can do. Not saying I can. But we don't have many on turmoil that can.

Win lose or draw, I know I will look strong after feuding with him. It why a lot of us want to feud with him and take the TV title and don't bother even mentioning the other belt. He built that thing on his own. No politics, no drama, no confusion. No taint.

Anyway, Little bo black and I will do our thing next weekend and move on.

I'm not saying this to be antagonistic, but you cannot ALL be top guys, and you cannot ALL be unstoppable killing machines.

The matches that were booked were booked with competition involved, because they were expected to be good contests. The very notion that someone has nothing at all to gain if they win is ludicrous. Yes, Big Ed already has the match, the fact he was involved in an actual fight two weeks before it doesn't hurt that. At all.

From what I saw in the match, and the way you lost, I don't see that as hurting you either, it was an unfortunate game play glitch and then Bray hitting the finisher with the window it presented. You lost, shit happens, OOC thought you'd win, you didn't.

Dennis Black then scrapes a win, does this hurt him? No. He won, albeit against an already damaged opponent but this then gives Big Ed ammunition to negate his loss, because he fought a guy known to stick in hard and narrowly lost... Black barely beat an injured man.

Kassidy vs Austin Lee, if Austin Lee wasn't kidnapped I could genuinely have seen Austin pinching a win. Austin Lee WAS kidnapped and like a heel Kassidy takes the easy way out and wins via forfeit. Doesn't that fit his character? Now people want to see him lose even more, maybe they now want to actually see Austin get his revenge?

I think my point here is;

You can't all be protected, you can't all have soft matches and you can't all be top guys. At the start of the season a lot of people shouted "we're bringing competition back."

I don't understand how Dennis isn't considered a cornerstone though, he's positioned well, people actively want to work with him and talk to him on a daily basis. I like him, I like his work, I like his matches. Has he had more difficult matches? Yes, he has. Is there some sort of agenda with it? Nope, it's just what OOC put together at the time and I was happy with.

There's a term Jay flung out, and I subscribed to it, it's called the Turmoil 4. I know who they are, he knows who they are, and I hope they know who they are.

Oh and...

Axton Bravo, stop hovering. It's happening week in and week out, I'm told you've been spoken to for it.

You know who should be a top guy? Me. If I cared enough, I would push all of your shit in, but I don't. Why don't I do that? Because I want to give you new guys a chance to shine and you're all doing just that. Now, while I do have a problem with people, especially champions and contenders being coddled and protected, I think it all depends on who's involved. The way I look at it is you can't win all of the time, even if you're next in line for a belt. All Bray winning does is show that he should be higher up on the card and deserves an opportunity later on down the line.

As for the World Title scene...honestly, this is a tired subject. I don't believe Kass deserves to be there at all, but it is what it is. Should they get tough singles matches to prove their merit? Absolutely. They're in line for the World Title. They should not only be good with what they write, but with how they play. When I became champion for the first, second and third time; I never had it easy. To be champion for the first time, in Jay's eyes, I had to win the KOOCW for a second time. What did I do? I was so thirsty, I did win it again. I squashed a man known as Trevor McManus in seven minutes, who at the time, was one of the best players in the fed. I did it as a LHW, too. I wasn't coddled or protected. I had to show Jay that I was finally worthy of being put in a World Title match. And you know fucking what? I won that title in the same fucking night. I won 4 matches on one PPV, just to prove myself. And you know who I beat for the title? A fucking monster. A person who is and always has been sketchy when it came to ethics and FPR. A 99 Durability Super Heavyweight with arms that stretched to Portugal. I proved myself by being the best on the sticks. Not protected. Not put into matches people knew I would win. I never have been put into those situations. Not in my matches leading up to my title shot. Not in my matches where I either defended or lost my title.

Ask Jay. I am the most inconsistent champion because I choke in title defenses. Jay gave me opportunity after opportunity because I earned it by being one of the best on the sticks. My writing left MUCH to be desired, but I got it fucking done in the ring. I remember my first title defense when I became the first ever Pride Champion. It was against Kip Conrad (who, if you don't know, was an alt of one of the best players in the fed.) His name is Kage. He was a fucking beast, and he destroyed me. I wasn't protected. At all. I was put to the test to see if I deserved my spot, and by losing; I proved that I didn't. I didn't just lose. I got demolished.

If you were booking an actual wrestling show, then yes. I should have been protected, but this is fake fake wrestling. This is a video game. As much as the game as changed over the years, it's the same at its core. Being a good writer will only get you so far. You have to win, and you have to win BIG. You can write your way into a title match all you want, but if that's all you're good at, then what's the point in putting you in taht spot? You're going to keep losing if you can't play the game. Know what I mean? Now, I understand most people in charge these days are inclined to make shows look good, and while I do prefer things look good; I can't help but revert back to my, "prove yourself" dynamic.

Without the thirst, I feel that protective booking is the way to go in some cases. However, sometimes a good champion and contender need to be put to the test. While its all well and good to say sit back and have fun, it's also good to have a nice competitive scene in place.

In other words, shape up, or I will take both titles, and you're NOT going to win them back. You think I'm playing? Try me. I'll channel 2012 Aries and hold you fucks down. You won't break the Mass Ceiling. You'll have to be like Dupree who played DM's all day just to get ready for our title match. Just to beat me. Even then, you guys haven't seen Thirstries. You've seen Hungries, but never Thirstries, and I'll tell ya. Thirstries don't play. I'll get you counted out. I'll put you in a damn Abdominal Stretch if I have to.
