I have a catch finisher ! Maybe you were referring to me ?

 

In this instance It's not just you since, a lil bit Before SL and going into SL I counted at least 3 catch Finisher victories or uses. Now a catch is fine if as it was said its part of your moveset to begin with. But since SL it's becoming a trend of a "I can do this so its a 3rd finisher for me HYAY" which i'm not big on, its also against the rules.

 

One possible concession is Champs can use "No cloned Fins" but they already have so many advantages so probably naw.

Ideally if ppl are going to modify there finishers in order to match catches (which i hope not) they get to be denied by Sean Mcgee and The Trashman.

I've been using the same catch finisher for 3 years straight. Deal with it!

Kicking out of 12728 fins is already a issue for rooks as very few have grasped the concept of having a good match.

I can't tell if you're being sarcastic or not... If you're not I'll explain my post, because surely you can't think it won't look like shit.

 

I mean try pushing RT and reversing it. If everyone is hitting catch finishers at every given moment of every show it loses any sort of appeal, especially considering how easy they are to do.

Are we saying that people are putting catch finishers on without that being their normal finisher as well? That's screwy. I didn't even realize 2K made that possible, cause it used to not be. I usually end up hitting the catch by accident as I'm so used to tapping all of the buttons to try and get to my feet.

 

But lets not forget, the real solution here is to not play like a dumbass. If you're fighting someone with a catch finisher, and you try to jump on them while they have a finisher, isn't that your fault?

The whole point is this, if the catch finisher isnt an extension of your normal finisher, it's not allowed.....simple.

 

You have the bull hammer as a finisher? then you can have the bull hammer catch option.

 

I posted this morning because the KD/Nathan match reminded me, as far as I knew, KD doesn't have Tombstone as a finisher, then all of a sudden he pops up with a Tombstone catch finisher..I've also noticed others with 2 different finishers to their catch finisher..it's against the rules, always has been.
