Oof. Everyone so sensitive this morning. Caught in they feels, and it wasn’t my fault this time. Everyone stop bickering. People with influence in ocw, champions included, need to do a better job of trying to create a unified ocw. Riot is thin as fuck, and turmoil is young as shit. Egos aside, ps4 and Xbox need each other right now. Ps4 matches take place on riot, just as Xbox matches take place on Turmoil. We help each other. Or at least that was the plan.

 

Did the anniversary show frustrate me? Of course It did. I’m competitive. But I didn’t decline the match either. I was aware of the intent. They don’t say it, but forcing a three way is their way of acknowledging that I’m ‘the’ guy moving forward. I’m not someone who required a three way to get a belt off of me because I wasn’t doing my job. Multi man matches are made for me Because I was doing my share, and the share of others. It shouldn’t be that way.

 

Do I feel as if I earned the status of a unified champion? Of course. There isn’t anyone here, critic of mine or not, that actually thinks I didn’t earn it.

 

I don’t need a dickrider. But being one of the few that ‘openly’ supports and recognizes what I do here doesn’t make Ed a dick rider. It’s no different than Aries popping up the at the first sign of trouble for trance. Or minio jumping to side with Pugh. Right or wrong, you defend your friends.

 

At the same token, Kassidy doesn’t require every part timer and inactive person jumping to defend him. He’s the champ of riot and has to deal with the same nonsense that I do, now.

 

Here is the hard truth that newbies, HoF, and vets know to be true but it’s not conveyed to them properly. For the last two seasons, the quality of players on both consoles is equal. I know this as someone who actually watches both brands, not just when I’m booked. I know this as someone who has competed against the best on both brands. People on Xbox catch L’s from me just like people on ps4 do.

 

Riot and turmoil are equal, because both rosters require jay to step in and assist them in getting gold off of me rather than someone stepping up on their own merit and taking it.

 

We need to start critiquing shows for the sake of helping content and matches improve, rather than just shitting on folks for the sake of shitting on folks. When both brands want and make attempts to be better than the other, simply than ‘saying’ it, it makes ocw better as a whole.

 

Both sides are guilty of circle jerking. It’s brand loyalty. I’m guilty of it. I’m someone who was shit on by both consoles, publically and privately. But I got my start on ps4. So I do what I can to help it succeed. I get it. What I don’t like is veterans and hall of famers trying to belittle ps4 at every turn. Would I like them to speak out more? Absolutely.

 

 

How long a Championship has been around means nothing. The handler and character make championships important. When I was TV Champion, it meant more than the Turmoil title. Ive told jay many times that the Turmoil title is higher tier than the ocw title until I lose it. It’s my opinion based on observing ocw these last two seasons. It’s an opinion that some on both systems agree with.

 

You aren’t important simply because you’ve won a championship here. Kassidy is in the same position I was when I won the Turmoil title. He has to rehab that championship. It was vacated, fought over by nate and I, and then sensation intervened to force a change. That’s just a fact right now. Maybe he will rehab it, maybe he won’t. That’s on him.

 

Get over yourselves, regardless of how long you’ve been here, in 2018 everyone on the active roster (including those that will be returning for lution) are equal status beneath Dennis Black. No one can tell me different or show me different in the current climate of ocw.

 

But I look forward to people on both brands stepping up to do so. That, is what ocw should be about.

 

I appreciate the more positive notes of the post but lets be perfectly honest, it's fluff. It's the old sandwich method of management, surround negative things with positive things, making the negative things easier to digest.

 

Extrapolate what's really at play here.

 

Your ego is more fragile than maybe any Champion I've personally seen in OCW.

 

It's important for me to say, I respect what you bring to the OCW table, and I think a lot of people can cosign that I've been outspoken about the fact that you're a workhorse, who's earned their spot and then some. I've openly talked about how you and Pam and Kass really earned your worth and built the status quo that has pushed the OCW for the last couple of years.

 

I didn't randomly appear to defend Dan, and the fact that it's all you saw shows the unfortunate reality of your fragility. It's deeper than probably anyone but Pam and the smurf account known formerly as "Ed" realize. You've become bunkered into that fragility, and it leads to you working yourself into a shoot over and over with the same dumb ass baiting.

 

You have all of the tools to be a legendary champion, you've already locked yourself in for a HOF slot, but you'll never be in the same conversation as the Dupree's or the Ortiz's because you lack the spine that those handlers carried their championships with. They didn't bitch for months after the fact, they didn't rely on roommates or smurf accounts or whatever the fuck to go to bat for them. When they felt wronged they took action and righted the wrong. Instead, you tucked tail and ran back to Turmoil, where you let Turmoil talent serve as your aight mans on your quest to prove that you're the only legitimate champion of anything, which is why you're only content when your home address represents the majority of the champs on the banner.

 

You think Turmoil and Riot need each other? Dope I don't disagree, but lead by fucking example. If you truly believed that, or believed half of your post, you would have been in this thread telling Ed to kick rocks for that post too. If you believed that both brands should be successful, help elevate a handler and a character that you had a hand in getting over, stay over, and stay over as a Champion, rather than letting sly remarks fly from your camp to try to detract from Kass as a champion.

 

In general, I thought this was just a whole lot of nothing, which is why my original reply was just neutral and matter of fact. It wasn't until I saw how people reacted to Kass merely defending himself, as everyone would expect him to, that I realize this is a shoot from Team Dennis, and that's where I really began to understand how petty you are.

 

Just sort it out, because you're all better than this. You really are, but more so than any fucky match or show sabotaging fuckery to spite another person, you being salty over that match booking is the first legitimate blemish I've seen on your record and it's a huge disappointment.
