A Riot Retrospective

 

I'm back because I want to be back - like Parker mentioned, Old Country Way brothers, get used to it.

 

Cyborg does an excellent job of describing himself - as I've never seen him I have a pretty cool idea in my head now of what to expect... hopefully he looks how I imagine. Good little promo, few errors FIX EM.

 

Always a fan of Crowe, so anything he's doing is intriguing. Yes he's basically been doing the same shit for 2000 years, but he's a vampire - the fuck do you expect?

 

Oh nooooo... Cyborg is an elongated Buff Bagwell. Poles apart from how I perceived him in the previous promo, not necessarily a bad thing but definitely disappointed. WITH THE ROOKIES AND THE PYRO - No Rust NO. I don't know if Tyson was oversold here, but the promo said 6'8. Unless they're both fucking giants, have I been worked? I'd like Cyborg to be a bit bigger, because right now he's got a very similar look (and mohawk) to a certain Buffness back in the day. I'm not gonna pretend i watched the whole match, but from what i saw it was fine.

 

Cort, when you start with "what happened on Turmoil" you've lost me buddy. Maybe you need some sort of recap video when you come to the A-Show. "As a rookie I got nobody on my side to protect me" is an insane comment for the character that I think Samsin is, but whatever, do you man. Cut and shut to hype the match.

 

Roxy promo is a nice intro - Trick Snatch is a T-shirt

 

KD doing what KD does - love that he built himself a niche way of promoing. Sissy.

 

Two thirds of C4 getting stuck into the real main event is a nice synergy - I honestly have no idea how this promo was leaked to them but I'm glad it was.

 

I honestly had never really read a Kass RP until this one - I don't understand why you wouldn't roleplay when you first got here. It's detailed, to the point, and progresses the story. STORYLINE.

 

The broads match ain't half bad. Roxy looks a little too much like a clean Betty Fordian - maybe a PRE Betty Ford. Eerie doing that grim shit and winning OF COURSE.

 

I must abstain from commenting on this promo, as I believe it is directly lifted from a staff discussion where I was the target. All I will say is better men have tried baby.

 

More of the broad promos. I like a descriptive promo where there's not a lot of toing and froing dialogue wise - means my brain can do some work. Interesting thought.

 

Asshole Tobin makes me feel sick. Guess that's what happens when you have the OCW title for 8 minutes... turns you bitter AF.

 

This next bit is a weird one. We all know how I feel about beatdown vids and this is kinda no exception. It could easily have been some sort of interaction with a weapon, a finisher, and done. I get why they go on forever (decimation etc) but they really don't need to. Decent promo again, its hard to say a lot more as they're all set up promos this week.

 

First thoughts on the 4 way. 4 kinda distinct characters which is nice. Lot of "Darkness" in OCW though. Dark, Crazy people. Also that thing has happened again where everyone wrestles in red/black. Pick a colour (not pink it's taken) and make it your own! There are literally millions of options you could wear. Corey steals one with a page outta my book. MARK.

Pugh is back! I’m glad to see him back because his character changes the atmosphere of OCW. Nothing flashy, straight to the point, ol’ school ass kicking machine with no chaser. I’ve learned a ton from this man last year. Let’s give them a match they can talk about years from now again brother.

 

Rust - In Tyson’s first match he gave him a run for his money! This dude is promising. I have a special liking for him cause he’s a rookie. I know how he feels. He doesn’t want to disappoint anyone including himself. I thought the same with the pyro. I had to earn my stripes before I could even get some smoke lol. He’s a good egg guys. He gets it and will improve.

 

KD doesn’t do these video promos often but when he does I mute everything around me and tune in closely. It’s very unique as he takes his surroundings and makes it relate to his character’s situation. Always spot on bro!

 

Roxy vs Eerie - I thought Roxy had this broad. I can’t stand Eerie. She invented the smell of cancer with her chain smoking behind! <3

 

My client doesn’t want me to speak about Anna. She wants Eerie to begin a eulogy...for herself!

 

Turmoil #1 Contender - I think if these guys wrote a rp the match would’ve had more substance to it. This match just looked like it was just placed there for no reason. DB will eat you alive if you show no effort to fight him.

 

This whole Sanctuary/Blackbeard saga just erupted like a huge blackhead. Love it!

 

KD and Kikk was fun to watch. I see Kikk was being very cautious at the beginning. I mean, it’s KD who wouldn’t lol. Big man was growing tiresome in the middle gaining some ground and in fashion Kikk had to close it quickly. We saw what you did to Baker....my client and his Best Friend are still salty. Punk! <3

 

Loooooved the main event! I wanted Ed to fall for obvious reasons. But that ending made up for it in it’s entirety. Seeing Kass come in and take out Ed brought my client so much joy! Great editing on that guys! Love Mugen’s entrance still. Still my favorite. I like last year’s theme better but still my favorite.

As soon as I saw Roxy, I said "was she made to be in betty ford". First they feud, then maybe team? could we have a 6 women tag match in future? betty ford against alexa, heather, madison?

Very few have lol, why thanks you, I'm not confident in writing and I work better playing off someone. When I first got here, i literally had nothing and wasn't one to reach out to others. Now I have some history, relationship, and always have current things to play off of, im more comfortable.

 

I do not support the claims against my father, all lies, He Did Not. I might be the only one of his children that supports them, if you want him to be a better father, be successful in wrestling you fuggin marks.
