As mentioned, he does remind me of Parker, during his American Badass phase, but I get more of a Trevor Phillips (GTA V) vibe, based on his intro and move-set.

 

Whereas Parker was more of a general anti-society loner type, Wrex appears to be more of an exaggerated reminder of the true subconscious of men...

 

The type of guy that, even in his 40s, would say "Nice Rack" to a 16-year-old wearing a skimpy outfit to purposely skeev her out, and remind anyone within earshot that if you dress like you want the D, you'll attract people who enjoy P, despite their intentions, age or mental state.

 

He's not above theatrics, despite his outward appearance, because even though most may see him as trailer trash, he believes he is the epidemy of America and wants you all to take it in... to accept it.

 

Then again, I could be way off and he just likes wearing leather. Speaking of leather, I actually prefer the leather pants attire, more than the Shirt/Jeans outfit. Not sure what that says about me, but I think it stands out more.
