The C-Community is basically OtaKru who gets custody! I love it. Oddly enough Code's Cereal Killer tones blend well with Jackman's Rick Rude Esq Magnum PI look.

I dug it. Yo the Cort Video was perfect except they didnt cut out the bottom bars or put over lays, I was going to do it. Then editor crashed and I said fuck your mother. That video will be nominated (if yall remember) for 2019 honors. Holy shit, Cort really is less skilled Canadian Guy Fausto.

I’ll make sure you remember

Quick thoughts: I can’t hate Pugh as a character, idk he’s kinda like that adorable Ornery Grandpa at this point to me.

H20 is the guy, huge work horse, tons of content and puts his best foot forward. But being a Comp Fed I want to see him beat Kass 1v1 to feel like the legitimate World Champion.

Valkyrie going full heel. Made the poor girl cry .

Like the TMNT cosplay, but wrong color schemes so points off. But love ya.

- Awesome interwoven segments from Kass, H20, TTT and Pugh. Felt like real wrestling, like WCW/Monday Night Raw in the GOOD times when all the different factions and singles guys would face off and interact. One nitpick. I get Quartz doing the H2O chemical name thing but it comes off a bit tortured if you say it out loud. Otherwise probably my favorite segment in OCW history (that I’ve been present for.) Very realistic.

- The reading glasses and phrase “videogame discs” really do make Pugh feel old! Quartz still only starts talkin' shit once his back is turned!

- I see Code’s watched some NWO clips. What a coincidence we both decided to do the same gimmick on the same night… dammit D-Lo.

- Telos has a nice theme but why is his face sunburned. Meanwhile MJF looks like someone’s dad wandered on set. I like MJF’s RUNNIN WILD dance taunt, I’M WINNIN MOM WEE HEE HEEe. FPR break end of match but I’m sure someone will get to that before me. Ground strong strike signature then fin.

- Forgot where in the show this was so the comment goes here. Damian gets his first taco that he didn’t pay for on a street corner.

- Why is B17 paying Mugen royalties?

- Coolidge keeps heelin’ it up as he beats down Ant Man in the hallway with the help of CQC. Again another interwoven segment… KD’s a face but his son is a heel. He better beat some sense into his progeny!

- Those are LITERALLY Rude’s tights Jackman. C’mon. Hendrix’s ent is amazing with that rockin’ guitar, purple filter and even a twitter feed! This man knows how to use a video editor. Excommunicate the witch immediately. Nice attire too.

- Good FPR by code letting him up from the reversal on the ground. BIG mistake not beating the fuck out of him after that heavy reversal though, if you’re using 2 revs you gotta do some damage or you’re right fucked. Also don’t parker when coming in the ring, that’s a semi reset. 2nd parker as he gets in, bad Code. Sucks to lose after you get their reversals down like that but what a finisher. Norman Smiley just killed a dude. Good FPR for a rookie, Keith. Jackman… ya just gotta optimize when to use/keep reversals, and make sure you get BEEG DAMAGE out of any heavy. Know when to hold ‘em, know when to fold ‘em.

- “Capitalist goon” is a great line.

- HELL YEAH NATOLI JOE CAMEO! BIGGER RETURN THAN PAUL PUGH IMMINENT? AND WILL QUARTZ GET IRL ANGRY AT ME FOR THAT LAST LINE? FIND OUT NEXT TIME ON DRAGGIN ballZ!

- Twitch thot is an amazing heel gimmick. AC Cobra’s new love? They better do an angle. I figure this is an alt because the writing feels too clean for a new person...

- Bourne and Benji big timing a rookie? HYPOCRISY I SAY. BOMBACLAT!

- I hope Moore touches one of the unicorns and gets thrown out of a window. I’m interested in this going forward, seems like a great opportunity for both comedy and character development. Valk’s house rules are a tad… sheldonesque. I just don’t want people pissin’ on the toilet seat.

- I don’t think Ryu’s headgear is regulation… gonna put someone’s eye out with that ya Darth Maul lookalike. Or maybe Voldo?

- Drago looks cooler in a big shirt than most people do in detailed attire. Drago lands chest first on a seated opponent’s head… argh. And Drago lives up to Shane o-Mac’s motto by absolutely waffle-stomping Spider. So bad it might even be considered a pancaking. Dough the humanity!

- Doc comes out solo, and actually puts up a good fight against the two men. Even ballsy enough to taunt in their faces! Unfortunately it’s not enough and he gets put down. That rope bounce to straight punch combo is nasty. Looks amazing. Kinda mad I didn’t think of it first. Use it more Quartz! Everett returns and the faces manage to scarper the three heels against them… lookin’ strong!

- I didn’t know Flojo was a Cort mark… there are tens of them!

- Laughed out loud at Bournistico’s attires, love it. Why was the Go Ninja Go song so damn quiet, though? It was at like whisper level. Never thought I’d say this, but turn the Vanilla Ice UP! Same with C Community’s theme as well, actually. Jackman’s dressed like Dick motherfuckin Tracy here?

- Senton with a shell seems… illegal.

- Start of the match is very co-ordinated, like it was a real match. Flowed really well. From the reversals and outside action at the beginning, to Damian getting caught with no revs and Mistico trying to intervene only for Bray to lay them both out. Bray shoulda tagged! Great tag moves from Bourneistico as Bray’s hubris keeps him in the ring. Finally Betaman gets in the ring, but heel tic tacs keep Bourneistico in the advantage. The Rock says NOPE as Betamax gets his ass viciously DDT’d. I like how all their tag moves use the shell. Nick’s in the danger zone but manages to reverse a fin attempt and do something fancy with Mistico’s leg, finally tagging Bray back in after getting lunchabled for a few minutes.

- Another big heavy lets Bournistico hit their third tag move of the match, seeming more cohesive as a team than the animemes. Bray loves his irish whips (seriously like 70% of his moves this match were whips) and sends Mistico to every corner of the world before he says fuck it and tags Damian. Bray hits the first airplane spin I’ve ever seen in OCW, gets dizzy and flair flops. Great shit! Damian leaves Bray dazed and tags Mistico in for the finish, but no stairway! Denied! Nick pops off despite his partner eating floor… Bray finally gets a heavy and shotgun dropkicks Damian for the tag to Bates. Unfortunately Damian seals the deal with an eye rake into a finisher!

- See, the match was so good I even wrote out a play-by-play. I usually don’t watch these things out of anything but obligation, but this shit had an actual story: Bray wants to be the hero but Bourneistico just want to win, and act as a unit. Tons of spots that happened organically and looked great, especially the flair flop.

- Blaine throws Jay out of a bar and Dragana knocks herself out. Just another day in the hard knock life.

- Another fancy video package from a newcomer, with only a bit of real wrestler stuff used so it doesn’t break immersion. Good shit! Will we come to fear the Empress, or will they leave after losing a match to a fat woman named Darryl? We’ll find out.

- Blacksmith calls out DRAGO CESAR! The madman. I like the poetic nature of the line “darkness in a place where light should be the protagonist.”

- Mguens entrenc gaev m,,,,e seziuuurr

- Heterosexual B17 returns to a huge pop! Two tests of strength with B17 coming out on top--having hair means he’s 20% stronger--and stereo taunts. Great start. 3rd time round Muge wins the test… but then they both decide “fuck this” and go straight for the weapons. Imugenation on the steps! Crapple by Mugen. MUGEN! Two crapples. Stop that.

- I don’t wanna play-by-play this match as a) I don’t want to spoil, and b) most of the calls would be “oh, that looks like it would kill you.”

- Valk finally realizes the dark truth: fandoms are fickle. Especially wrestling fans. You arrive to a chorus of cheers every night, but then you get your face broken by a paraglider and someone yells at you to shut the fuck up during your return promo. Life hurts. She buries Moore, who can’t even heel it up in response. Really liking the layers in this. Moore is a rank bitch but you feel a bit bad… I smell a slow-burn face turn? Valk certainly isn’t heel here, she’s just RIGHT. Sometimes you need to get told why you suck.

- Was Cobra donating to the other girl from earlier!? Also Telos wants the Pride title. Dream on. That shit’s mine in a few weeks. Nice character work from Cobra, Dillinger and Telomerase.

- Love Aries’ tights. Lee’s shorts with that 70’s van stripe give a unique, legitimate fighter kind of look. Match wasn’t much to write home about IMO, but the ending was a holy shit moment. Bourneistico are all over the show… maybe talkin shit does get results. And another surprise after that… it’s everyone’s favorite Reichstaggfuhrenmuffinburnin, Wrex! Two codebreakers on Trance, who can now feud with someone who’s actually present.

- Tayy is back. Not a bad face promo, just a little generic. Interested in seeing if he can take town Telus. I mean Telos. Fuck Telus though. Canadian internet is garbage.

- Capo Genovese ascends to the heel we knew he could be… invested in this feud from day 1, though maybe we could have let Jehst have his success for more than one single show? Not sure I like the studio/films being part of this angle already, it makes sense for background purposes but I think it’d be better to have Capo secretly jealous at Jehst for making it this far and have Jehst keep his studio while the feud with Capo proceeds. Just a small nitpick but I’m never a fan of yoinking a face’s accomplishment right after they do it--feels very WCW Luger title win.

- Dick Tracy cuts a promo… emphasis on cuts. Audio could be cleaner; some hard cuts and that BEEP is far louder than the rest of it. I like the presentation though.

-Main event sponsored by the letter “O.”

- H2O’s attire is SO close to being goofy but it looks great. Lots of detail and the right colours.

- “Back in my day they’d just throw punches till someone stopped moving” is a diamond-tier line.

- Clean match and H2O takes the W with a superkick… but who else but Bobby Minio to show up. Except we get SWERVED.

Overall: Better show than any in recent memory. Everyone in the opening played their character to a T, alliances shifting, angles unfolding, and Damian Bourne somehow all over the show. A show of surprises. Best matches IMO were the Contendership Tag between anniemays and rookienays, and the Safety Zone Extravaganza. I’d give the nod to the tag, personally, due to all the quick action. I really thought I had the silver bullet this show with that videotape, but everyone else turned up the heat too. Seems like TTT has quite a few alliances forming to get them to shut the heyull up… good.

that opener started as a very simple and small idea then turned into a 8 almost 9 page google doc. Came out just about how I wanted it, its a typical big shot heel calling for his title like triple h would but im more of a coward heel like edge so if edge were to do a triple h spot this is how itd go to me. You don't get what you want, you get john cena and who ever the fuck h20 is comparable to in this situation coming out and insulting you and your back up and eventually focusing on each other.

YAKE PRESENTS: A 'TOTALLY BETTER THAN AGNES' REVIEW' REVIEW OF TTT PRESENTS: OCW PRESENTS SUPER TURMOIL + ULTRA; some companies still know how business is done

TTT Page 1 Promo: "...The Blue Shell"

TTT runs page one. Don't you forget it. No schtick here. Cornette style. From all the video work inter-cut with great mic skills, this one was just fun to read back even though I already knew what happened. I just caught Pugh's "Does that blue streak mean you're pregnant, son?" joke the 2nd time around. Too many good lines to mention.

Enter Cort: "I saw him throw a full pot of coffee at an intern's head."

Meta/internal jokes work super well when even people who aren't in on the joke can laugh. Followed around the back. Cort building on his injury angle in a good way. Disappearing is the usual ticket but Cort doesn't want us to forget he HATES Shepard.

PSA: C-Community:

I am beyond blown away at Cort's embrace of the angle. This is what makes rivalries and stories flow so naturally, when you can take your previous angle directly into your new one. It really brings out life and immersion rather than 'okay we're done, onto the next angle'. With this seeming to shame B17 into a bad place... Well, we'll get to that.

MJF RP: "2019 will belong to M.... J.... F...."

Great lines throughout. Have always enjoyed MJF promos. Seems to get lost in the first page, but it shouldn't be. The notice from previous matches connects us to the universe and adds - yeah b - immersion. He is a real person that remembers what happened to him in this universe. The only thing that undercuts the great line "No, I'm asking. Who is scheduled to stand across from me?" is the match itself. Sad!

MATCH: Telos vs MJF - 1/5

1 out of 5 because you just can't end a match like this. His moveset and intrigue make me give it one star, but to not only try to win off a pick up fin, but to also win off of a blatant FPR break is, well, heartbreaking for someone who loves the MJF character and the writing and wanted him to succeed. I hope Telos' reputation isn't damaged by this, because yea, he got his ass kicked, but c'mon. This never should have made it to TV. Both competitors will bounce back and this will be forgotten, so no big deal... Unfortunate start to the in-ring action. Yeah, there was some good match stuff outside of FPR break, but when this happens, that's all it'll be known for and that's all it deserves to be known for. Hopefully 2019 will belong to F..... P..... R.....

Grad Party: "A tortilla? Really?"

Damian coming out swinging after I came at his fucking neck for the last 2 months. This type of content should carry Turmoil going forward from Bournistico and other rookies/soph. No craziness, no fucked up structure or broken Morrison Method... just a straight forward, fun, entertaining RP to set up the night.

P3 Escape Room Bonanza: "79 PERCENT OF 0 IS STILL 0."

Quick maths. P3 is always entertaining, B17 adding himself to the equation adds some fun to the mix. I'm with Cort though... I pride myself with knowing more OCW lore than I should, but I don't know this Mugen/B17 financial situation. I probably should! The lines are all good enough and they set up for one of the most devastating returns I've seen in a long, long time.

Uncrowned/Coolidge: "I’ll show CQC that they messed with the wrong lads"

Shouts to Uncrowned (especially Doc) and Coolidge for being pleasures to work with. Won't comment on the quality of my own shit. thankyoufuckyoubye.

C-Community 2: "Is he that one guy? Looks flamboyant?"

Jackman making his presence felt even further with more promo work. This time cutting a great heel promo. We didn't see any work from Hendrix tonight (huge fucking bummer) but Jackman keeps him in mind and keeps his name fresh, being the consummate professional worker he is. Nothing fancy, just a quick read.

MATCH: Code Jackman vs Hendrix® - 3.25/5

Keith Hendrix moveset and general fluidity in the ring impresses the shit out of me considering he hasn't done anything in OCW. He has a very good base to build on and I love LOVE LOVE that entrance. Keep that energy, rookie. Jackman.... SO many rough to watch moments. You play against B17 and bring that heat and here you were a MESS. Parkering, wasting revs, getting frustrated, totally botching a mid-move opportunity. We expect better from the leader of the C-Community. Luckily for us, this was the lowest point of your night. Your other content was very fun.

Damian and Benji bully the youngin': "Yu got a lot to learn boi"

Despite him hating my guts, I enjoyed this RP as far as Benji is concerned. He actually stole the show in this one. It is awesome to see Asher get involved too. He has a good character and gimmick and would be fun if he put the work in. Damian was here but this was easily his least impactful performance. No knock on him, but Benji stole the spotlight. I have the suspicion he left the quotation marks around his own dialogue to be a sarcastic dick to me (since I recommended he leave them off his RPs) but other than that nit-pick, another entertaining fill promo.

Cort Career Suicide: "We lost... you know what, just play the video."

Oh. My. God. I don't think I have ever laughed as hard as I did when I clicked play. As soon as "Piano Man" started, I almost pissed my pants. It's interesting to me how simple this idea was yet how unbelievably funny and well done the premise was. The video obviously won my heart, but the little cutting between ring and backstage was well done too. I could imagine this in my head, which is always what you want in an RP.

Ashley and Valkyrie get Acquainted: "What is this? A Youth Hostel?"

One of my favorite lines on the whole show. I find this dynamic between the two totally fascinating, if because nothing else, we get to see Valkyrie in her most "Sarah" form. Away from traditional style promos, you can see her become less cartoon super hero and more human. She has her quirks and flaws and isn't perfect and it adds to it for me. This plays out further in the Clark Effect. Ashley has been this pampered child who has been knocked down to earth and her quiet sadness about this has hit me hard. I feel for her character in a way I never thought possible. More more more.

Drago and Jim Black: "I'm don't need tomfoolery to get where I am."

Drago to me is a perfect mix of talent and humility. His character's love-ability comes from his unbelievable skill and ability to kick ass every single night, then to come out and ignore that urge to gloat and instead have fun with his friend Mugen instead. This type of promo plays in my head perfectly, as a guy who really doesn't want to be in the spotlight and even when forced just downplays everything and just wants to enjoy himself. I don't know how you can hate Drago Cesar as a babyface.

MATCH: Drago vs Spider - 3/5

The match itself is not a 3/5, but I can't give a squash too high of a rating. The story telling was there, but more just to have Drago kick the shit out of the Spider Who Laughs. Drago and Spider don't have awkward moments in the ring, when I watch so it's at least a 3, but I wish it was somewhat competitive this go-round. I could be biased because of my excitement to watch this one when I saw it on the card. These two are both super entertaining to play against and given a different scenario, it would have been a better match. You know what they say... No Redos, Bubba.

Damian and Thrace: "I'd assume you're* Damian Bourne?"

The line of the RP was probably unintentional but fits into the earlier thing Damian did with pretending he was the shit and talking down to rookies. It is very funny for a new guy to talk to Damian as if he was a well-known OCW star. Intentional or not, I enjoyed it. Great work from both guys, just makes me shake my head continually, seeing what Damian is capable of and that he got so pissy when we all said we wanted to see it. Anyways, Thrace, we all know he's a great writer, coming from his RP fed. One thing though, and you made this mistake TWICE, once in each instance.

Your = Possessive. IE "Your hand is bleeding."

You're = You are. IE "You're an asshole."

To come in as a rookie and a great writer and have grammar be my nitpick though, is a great start.

H2O and Heather in NYC: "You can never be too sure in NYC streets."

While not Harvey's best RP performance, it answered questions I had about Heather following LN and kept the world Shampion involved. I was interested in how the Heather/Furiosa angle would continue to develop or if it would be Katie Vick'd. Luckily, Doc knows how to work angles and wouldn't just forget about it as if it never happened. Moreover, he took it up a notch by involving the back and forth relationship with Harvey.

CQC Match - No comments

FloJo Suspended: "(Drago voice): My name is Drago and I hunt and shoot arrows very gud. Yeah."

I would like to see more imagery with FloJo going forward. It's been a common theme in her RPs. There have been some that really have stuck out (Devil's Night post-match for example) but I just couldn't get there with this one. I will say that Gooch has done a much better job narrowing down the character and making her into a person that we can imagine, but still needs some work. I skipped over FloJo RPs last season, this time around, I'm interested in the development because it takes small strides each time. I am interested to see how this suspension angle continues to play out.

Cort Drives an S10:

Short Marshall delivers a short, yet needed RP. This is a good example from Cort of how to do multiple RPs per show. Keep them succinct and force them to continue the story. I can ask "if this wasn't here, would it make sense" and in this sense, the answer is no. Good job in that sense, even if there's no memorable lines.

Everett Saves The Day: "We're not finished!"

Doc is one of the most active rookies I've seen in a while and I am happy to admit he took the front in this angle. I don't want to comment on the quality of my own stuff, but since Doc wrote most of the frame for this, I read it initially and hardly had to change anything. I love the idea of it and it works on such a fundamental pro-wrestling level. We did make a few writing mistakes with confusing steel chair placements, but outside of that, I loved Docs idea to put his foot down with the champions while also furthering an existing feud.

MATCH: Bournistico vs OtaKRU - 3.5/5

This match looked boring and squash worthy early, with Bates being torn apart and Bray meeting his match as well. Damian and Mistico are a well oiled machine as a tag team (as expected) and I was happy to see they were way less of a nightmare to play on TV than they were in DMs. Good looking tag moves and such. There were I think 2 moments where they broke up moves like lame assses, but it wasn't really impactful in the grand scheme. The real savior of this match was Bray after his comeback later in the match. He went on like a 5 minute ass kicking frenzy and actually dealt a strong amount of damage to both competitors. I hated Bray's character and move-set initially, but he's started to grow on me as this underdog figure. Great job by Bore-Mistihoe.

I have no opinion of the Cosplay attire. I AM glad it was RP'd into existence instead of being another random erratic attire change.

C4Ever!: "See me out there kid?"

In this instance, the line I picked was more about the impact it made on the emotions elicited from the RP than about humor. This RP is way more impactful after the show's end, but reading it back makes me enjoy it even more than the first time. Pugh treating our most charismatic OCW star like a child and Minio showing a rare weakness around someone he respects adds an element of character for both that new guys (and possibly old) can certainly appreciate. Shit like this keeps the characters from being cliche robots and shows you they're human. Bobby is still the king of RPs, but Pugh is still the GOAT in OCW.

Blain's Roadhouse: "Eeeeeeehhhh...."

No! Dragana! I suppose time will tell if this goes anywhere, but it was a fun, albeit random ride. I have been overthinking things since being castrated by the veterans about my work into trying to see the overarching/long-term need for RPs and what they mean in the long run, but sometimes establishing the type of character you're dealing with is more important. Besides, this was just a fun break from the depth and angles to remember we've had so far.

TLB Shoots on Drago: "to take darkness in a place where light should be protagonist."

Angus was 100% right about this line. There's something disarmingly poetic about it that works in the promo. I do love TLBS as a "streak breaker" character, and while there's a 0% chance he'll ever beat Drago, the angle works and keeps the character arc going in a familiar direction. Sidebar - I feel like it's fun to see these promos from Matteo. In a world where I expected his quality to suffer as a non-native English speaker, it's oddly enthralling to see his character exhibit the same kind of unique struggle with English. His misunderstanding of English - not on a spelling or grammatical level - but just on a basic sentence structure level, adds a level of character that can't be captured by an English person pretending to be that. It works for me and so long as we understand him and his intent, I think he should keep this monologue/poetic style up. The dude is Italian and I imagine TLBS as an Italian character who is not contained or typecast because of it.

He's a weird asshole who is Italian, he's not THE Italian guy, if that makes sense.

Anyways, the promo was good, I just felt the need to add that layer.

MATCH: Mugen vs Bingo Bomber - 4/5

Sometimes, you just want to turn off your hyper-critical brain and enjoy two men beating the fucking shit out of each other. That's what you get here. The difference between this 26 minute bloodbath and a normal hardcore match is that these two know where spots belong and they know how to keep you interested. It didn't feel contrived or forced and it had my attention the whole 13 minutes. (#WatchOn2xSpeedDummies)

The Clark Effect: Valk/Ashley: "Half of you masturbate to my matches."

This was surreal for me. I have not yet seen Valkyrie show such non-goodie two shoes personality traits. She is leaving herself plenty of room to move here, too. Even when she exhibits heel behavior, I find myself agreeing with her... "Yeah! People are stupid and don't appreciate you!" Ashley continues to creep into the underdog as the OCW underdog herself starts to get into wince category by mentioning her own nicknames and calling out her fans. I'm nervous. Don't break my heart Valk.

Telos, Cobra, Dillinger: "Not cool, gamers."

I know you're not speaking to me Terrence, but I'd like to thank you for approving this RP. It was hilarious in all the right ways and worked for all characters. Won't comment further, because I am Dillinger.

Cort and Damian Vandalize: "You want spray paint, I got spray paint. So $20."

The level in which that line fits both of your characters is great. More quality Damian Bourne shit, this time working with an established handler, proving he can do that too. Excellent stuff that furthers Cort's rivalry.

MATCH: Lee vs Aries vs Trance - 4.5/5

Yeah, I could not disagree with Cort more. I said it initially, this was one of the best (albeit brief) displays of showmanship in the ring I've seen. It told such a great story. From the jump where Aries and Lee teamed up and Trance fended the two off to the initial sneaky quick pinfall. It's gotta be said that these 3 do multimans very... ethically. Very rarely if ever do they attack each other RIGHT off of a move without giving fair space first. Aesthetically it looks good imo to not watch ambush after ambush all match. Aries and Lee interrupting the fall and then exchanging strikes was a very fun exchange. I wanted to see the end, but the real end was even better.

Just when I think Damian and Mistihoe were gone for the night, they make a STATEMENT against the champs, who are coming off of a match where they were not on the same page. Then Wrex, who apparently has the greatest hair growth supplements known to man, ambushes Trance. Nobody was left out and everyone pushes their potential rivalries.

I have to complain about Wrex' hair or I wouldn't be consistent. There's no way he's growing that hair out in a 3-4 week span. Small thing, but I don't think it loses anything to retain slightly shaven Wrex instead of bald Wrex. Then again, OCW is anime!

Valkyrie and Belle:

Explanation out of not being able to schedule most likely. I can appreciate the effort to add a reason for the match not happening instead of it just vanishing from the card.

Tayy/Jim Black - No comments.

Jehst and Capo: "What the hell did I do to make you go 'Benny from Total Recall' on me?"

I said it before, Jehst and Capo cut a perfectly old-school "wrestling" promo here, complete with lady manager in the ring. Was interesting to me to see Capo continue - pretty much the same approach to the OCW universe and his friend, but based on actions alone, his words were received differently. Some may consider the revelation that Capo owned the studio the whole time a buzzkill in terms of the Jehst/Archer feud, but he was able to salvage it with the destruction. Keeps it from being a simple happy ever after. Jehst is quality no matter what.

C-Community 3:

These videos are fresh and fun. I have been doing this shit for 10+ years so I know how annoying it can be to make these videos. Adds a meta level of respect for Code. IC, Code continues to deliver on the show, turning the C-Community brand into almost more than it was as the B-community.

Shep finds his car: "Cort Wuz Here"

Oh yes he was. One way or another, eh Cort Marshall?

MATCH: The Greatest Of All Time vs H2O - 3.75/5

Pugh had several times throughout the night where he was in control for decent stretches, but as far as an OCW match goes, he never felt "in control" the way Harvey did. H2O's moveset is always fitting and impressive, my favorite instance of which being his flurry of kicks mid-way through the match that made me feel the pain. Pugh was able to comeback in the end, leaving me some hope that he'd bury the shampion, but the distraction by Bobby Minio caused just the space Harvey needed to finish him. Quality match, as expected from each competitor. Can't clip the 4* mark just yet, because it did feel like H2O held the control throughout. (and I didn't get to see a fucking Pedigree.)

Bobby entering the fray took me off guard. The reason this was an awesome finish is because of the way it was executed from a build up and a lead in standpoint. The RP earlier made me believe that Bobby was going to hop in 1 of 2 directions.

1. Lash out at Pugh, sparking a feud between two of the best writers we've ever seen in OCW

2. Take C4 side and go after the belt, leading to a re-ignition of the amazing H2O/Boob feud we got last season.

Instead, I was thrown through 10 loops to find that my new adversary is Bobby Fucking Minio. It was a perfect twist and adds a 3rd man to The Inception as they (are going to fail) attempt to bring down TTT.

Whew. Great job everyone.

Match of the night: Aries, Trance, Lee 3-way:

Hey man, I'm a sucker for that ring-awareness and that showmanship as far as storytelling goes. The ending solidified it for me easily as the best match of the night.

Biggest Impact: Code Jackman/Damian Bourne

This was tough between the two, but I gave it to each of them. I know other people filled Damian's promos but this is an important step for him and I hope that energy continues.

Segment of the Night: Cort Marshall Career Suicide

I'm still laughing, right now.

that opener started as a very simple and small idea then turned into a 8 almost 9 page google doc.

You can compare H2O to The Rock in this one lol. Moving on....

But like Kass said we didn’t expect this to be 9 pages. Jeezus, just imagine if The Inception hopped in on this?! Nevertheless, we all deep down was dying to come at each others throats and it got a bit carried away. As the heat continues and our worlds collide again though our promos will be decent length and concentrated with juicy content.

Love the honesty Cort! I was going to do something else to the back of my pants and changed my mind last minute. I’m going to atop doing that. My first thought was probably better. Same for my hoodie.

It's more close to being goofy by being a mostly-single colour attire than by any details, if you had the wrong material or colours you'd look like a condom or some kind of low-rent power ranger. But the darkish, not super saturated satin blue combined with the details in gold etc make it look cool. So just don't switch to matte rubber next week and you're good.

Let that be a lesson to rookies, subtle things in attire matter. Like an idea may be great but if it has a kind of dingy or flat texture, or the item simply doesn't fit on you, it won't look great. Materials are your #1 friend to play with here, you'd be surprised how much better something looks when it throws a good reflection.

I saw Cort and Quartz both questioned the Mugen/B17 financial arrangement, and rightfully so it has only been loosely implied and revisited over the past year or so since I've been back that there was a connection between B17 and Mugen.

Mugen used to be part of a faction called C4 and in my first year in OCW he created a C4 Marketing Company that B17 was apart of. It was never a tag team or anything of that nature, mostly just a storyline where occasionally his character or subordinates would offer advice, help, etc. Roughly around that time too he started doing this "Income Funnel" bit and B17 merchandise was often lumped into that.

I don't think he or I have done anything directly with it since I came back besides on a few occasions him telling Jay "as long as he makes money!" in chat a few times. I've also made reference to a mysterious someone paying for lawyers and paying for my "cancer" treatments.

So this was just a long ongoing story bit, using our history to set up the match on short notice. It is one of those things that I like to keep track of for long term story purposes. Just like Kass and I say "Long Term Booking" because we are 1-1 and haven't had a tie breaker yet and we won't until 2025.

The “D” was for Damian and the “M” was for Mistico. It wasn’t meant to be Donatello and Michaelangelo, Bourne was Raphael and Misty was Leo
