I was very impressed by the show. On a 5 Star scale my ratings are as such.

Barrdock Vs Doc Green. (3 stars) - Loved the sportsman like attitude at the end.

Blaine Vs Valkyrie . (5 stars) - Big time match feel was really surprised by the outcome.

Antonio Everett Vs K.Dangelo (4 stars) - Had somewhat of a slow start but, left me wanting more.

Quartz Vs. ??????? ( 4 stars ) - Would love to seem them go again.

Ryu Matsumoto Vs. Paul Pugh (5 stars) This was pretty damn good match.

Shows Score : (5 Stars ) Amazing way to start off the new year.

Damn it, Adam, I haven't seen Die Hard yet!

Is Die Hard the one where Hans falls out of the big building at the end and then the German that you think is dead isn't actually dead? Never seen it.

This show reiterates why I think Valkyrie is one of the best characters in OCW in the last year.

The Anime Prince approves of this show.

Should have revyoo up by tomorrow. All I will say before then is yeah I forgot to censor the no-no words. Sue me! Glad people liked the segment though.

You’re still a gem Cort. Keep up the work!

- Not sure if the rap segment was good or cringy. Like, a few of the lines are good, but it feels like it kinda wasn’t the right tone for the Inception group and comes off a bit goofy. But then again they’re fighting a faction lead by a dude named Spider who dresses up a lot.

- Braddock’s CAW/ent are pretty bare at the moment but I see the idea and think it could be better with a little work. First, his face/beard/hair/body are well-done, they can stay as is. Foley-ish without being too similar. If you wanted to make him look really top tier like Green, you could use a face texture, but that’s not what’s holding the CAW back I feel. It’s the outfit. Simple is good, but his is so simple that it detracts a bit. Just some more details, even textures around the rips, or fake stains would help it stand out more. Pants also make him look like he has bigger hips/arse/thighs than torso but maybe he’s just naturally THICC. For ent lighting I’d keep it dark but maybe add some flashes, and remove the BRIGHT spotlights, which don’t fit his gimmick. More orangey mood lighting, like his ramp animation, would work. Ent motions and theme are fine and can stay as is. Theme is a bit generic but his motions work with it. Maybe a bit too surfer rock, could go with something more “insane.”

- Note for Braddock on match strats: in situations like when Green had one reversal and you were down on damage, you can try and “force” a reversal to take them down to 0 and do more damage to boot. This is where pickup strike combos are useful, as they do a lot of damage and usually when the opponent reverses one, they are left standing. This can result in standing rev exchanges that drain revs fast if they aren’t careful--easier to repress the urge to rev on one small damage ground move than 6 punches.

- Rollouts are generally a bad idea as they take reversals without giving advantage. Good for character work, though. Also you didn’t use your payback, and running away after he reverses you is a no-no.

- Not a bad match, though nobody attempted pins until the win. Big moves look better if followed by a pin so you kayfabe don’t know who’ll win. Clean FPR by rookie standards.

- Now more than one person is saying “X would” in promos. That’s not correct. Damian was the only person doing it before, but now it’s spreading. Not X would sit down, X sits down. Present tense, third person. Otherwise good segment with people casually interacting backstage, nice and realistic stuff that helps ground a company that often goes quite crazy. Now, this promo also reminds me--via Ashley’s eating habits, and the mention of Capo, who looks like the guy--of a Don Muraco promo… in my top of all time. Enjoy:

- Pugh with some very solid stuff, throws Minio under the bus--with the hint that maybe he does care--and gets in a slapping match with naked Spider. Everything with Spider in verges a bit too silly for my taste in upper card feuds… but hey, Rock did it. I like the “you were out there 4 times,” line, along with the other references to Pugh being out of the loop. Or maybe the rookies are just beneath his notice.

- CHUCK PALUMBO--wait, BIKERTAKER--wait, a midget on a--NO, it’s VALKYRIE! She makes a good point that in wrestling, you have many fair-weather friends… and H2O makes a tortured egg metaphor. EGGSCELLENT. EGGS 2 EZ. EGGS… 2… O.

- Braddock attacked Doc earlier, but we didn’t see it. Damn you Devin Kunn! You no-toothed Duck Dodgers motherfucker!

- Hey, they actually did have KD reference his son’s actions. Everett has an uphill battle ahead of him, against OCW’s local big guy (for you.) Uncrowned manage to make the most VANILLA possible babyface gimmicks work for promos, something I was never able to do. GJ.

- Blain’s tron made me think she joined Asstianity for a sec. Valk’s pyro and pose go together great. We get a lockup, which Valk wins! Great quick start with the exchange to the ropes, and then some action in-ring. Good flow despite the misses. Valk seems to get the upper hand with quick combos and agility, but Blain eventually evens it out after some big hamsmackers on the outside. Valk nearly had head meet steps…

- One minus may be the 85 rocker droppers/famousers I saw.

- Good story told here, with Valk consistently coming out on top but not able to land a finisher to put Blain down, who endures a torrential asskicking to pull out her lethal fin for the win.

- Like the postmatch angle, with Moore coming out to take credit for the win and pose on top of Valk. This will be a good feud, sure to elevate Moore, and I like how neither of them are quite pure face/heel. They each have valid points.

- Twitter banter? A return from Buddy Burns? Or maybe not because they have no retweets? Still, a good use of multimedia for promos. I hope this variety continues.

- Not much to say about P3 promo. Funny but perhaps getting old. I like ‘em but there’s been a lot.

- Tre’s back, baby. He’s got his eyes on the pride title, huh? Well, he’s welcome to a match… once I grab it out of Shepherd’s sweaty palms. And whatever Minio intends to do with it, probably cry while spray-painting “C4ever” on it. Also him shittalking the hairdresser kinda reminds me of Black Dynamite… Euphoria, I knew it was you! Didn’t even have to LOOK!

- Telos also wants the belt… looks like I’ve made it important. Good segment as usual with the duo of him and Dillinger, I think Dillinger’s char has perhaps longer legs than most in OCW--there’s always a demand for a heel manager, and he can Bobby Heenan his way from superstar to superstar, providing rookies a voice, regulars an ace up their sleeve, or even add flavour to alts.

- H2O is “the good light” and has a bright ass ent, but his ally KD has a dark ent with a lantern… intentional? Not sure about this theme, though, it kinda needs a longer run to work (cut off mid lyric) and the lights coming up doesn’t match any dramatic motion or anything. Everett’s CAW/ent is as good as Doc’s, which is very good.

- KD parkered while getting up. Also moonwalked off of a pickup by Everett. Mother of God KD stop moonwalking. Another crapple off the dodge roll reversal. That’s 3! Everett has used that leg sweep head drop thing a lot, is that weight detection? CAMEL CLUUUUUTCH!!!! Everett takes back control with a meteora to the outside. Nice clash with KD trying a clothesline but Everett hitting a dropkick, on fast speed looked like they took each other out. Big apron bomb, and KD beats the corpse’s skull in. Everett tries for a WARRIAH splash, but misses out on the 3. Love that move, very unique in OCW. Everett hits his suplex on KD, but gets clotheslined twice trying to follow up.

- Match is much more exciting now, and the FPR is clean. Minus whatever happened in the cut, I guess, but KD hits his devastating looking fin and wins. Two pieces of advice for KD; lose auto rev, it sucks. Rev gain is great and even better for a superheavy with only three revs. Also quit moonwalking on reversals or getups, if you had rev gain you prolly wouldn’t have to. Nice ending as the two shake hands, though. I’d say Ev proooobably woulda won minus the FPR bizness.

- Interesting idea here. Someone better beat up that child for calling Dragana a bitch! And for calling Blaine a man! Not only is that rude, I happen to like women who look like men. Interested to see what kind of events Law comes up with… I expect American Ninja Warrior with real weapons before this is over. Welcome… to the chunderdome…

- Love the way they integrate Moore’s social media gimmick with this feud, feels very much like a real feud. Valk says what she always says; it’s not over till it’s over.

- Quartz talks POOP. Well, he can go to HECK. Big win over Lee, though. Legend Killer Quartz? HEEL WERK as he immediately rolls out like a coward. Lots of big moves from both men… Lee resets really close. Is this an old school thing? Deadlift powerbomb from Quartz… don’t pull a muscle, kid. Quartz gets suplexed into the corner… unsafe. Surprise Black Phonics after a corner reversal and Quartz gets the W in ten minutes flat. Very clean match and big win.

- PREVIOUSLY RECORDED--note to Jay, complaining about having a lot of non-live non-arena vignettes is stupid because they logically HAVE to be pre-recorded, that’s how wrestling IRL works and how it has to work here to allow these things to happen. It’s one line above an RP to indicate how it fits logically into the show shootwise. Stop bitching.

- Anyway, Harvey has to exercise the demon inside Heather. Treadmill, pilates, you name it. Wait, no, exorcise. That makes more sense. I wonder if this will lead to them splitting into two chars, or will Heather vanquish the demon inside? She is just trying to lead her motherfucking life, after all. This shows what a facey face H2O is that he’s willing to do this for his cuh-razy ex.

- I don’t find the DEEZ NUTS jokes that funny, but YMMV.

- One day Terra’s gonna suggest fake meat to the wrong person and get murdered. Good segment, but just another one to establish her char without a real direction to it. Not that everything NEEDS a direction, but it's harder to comment on stuff like this without just grunting "GOOD" like some sort of caveman.

- PUGH VS SPIDER. When Pugh clotheslines him he falls before any contact… BOTCHAMANIA! I like how both men taunt then get bodied, the truest combo in all of the OCW meta. Like the “eh fuck it” powerbomb. Pugh moonwalks a rev following the dropkick. Laughed at the “concussion protocol” line, but that’s a brainbuster. Pugh tries a veteran/pussy move and leaves the ring, but Spider gives him and eye rake and his own damn finisher! Nearly a countout. The spot where Pugh gets in, gets back out, throws spider into the barricade, gets back in, looks like he’s not gonna follow up but then dives… and misses… is like an early series Simspons joke: it’s layered and just when you think it’s done, it’s not. Then Spider taunts and gets kicked in the chest. What a spot! Dunno why he grabbed the hammer though. Missed springboard into the move nobody kicks out of… but he kicks out. Pedigree countered into sleeper! Fantastic match, lots of spots, organic. Definitely ME material.

- Overall good show, just watch the damn FPR! I’d award MOTN to either Valk/Blain or Pugh/Spider, with segment going to, uh… I dunno, actually. It was all good but nothing stood out to me… maybe the Insta photo of Moore pinning Valk? Yeah, I’m gonna go with that. Not as a pure single segment of the night but more a nod to the dimensions and good planning of the angle. Inception/TTT is probably going to be the biggest angle of the company soon but it’s not quite revved up yet.
