When i reworked her moveset, it was to be a opposite to kass so more grabs, and focus semi around tbones and body attacks

Oh hey discussion! OH HEY... I see why.

 

First things first though this show was pretty ok to put together baring a few issues due to it only being 17 shoulda been 16 videos. We had a nice mix of Written stuff and videos. Generally the way I approach shows is I'm ok with longer segments as long as it isn't

1. Bore me to tears
2. Pointless filler
3. Better served as a simpler TEXT RP.

Vid RPS are A LOT of work they should be meaningful. That being my biggest bitch is file sizes and compression like I said on discord. We gotta do better. theres no reason a 10 min video is over a gig when some of yall can get 15 mins at 500 megs and it looks crispy.

 

Anyway I digress unto the task at hand. Back to the opener. It's wierd top me because during the AMBITION Era and even pockets of the Renaissance Era the vets would kind of take it easy on you but if you didnt put the foot on the gas or you got stupid they would end you. It kind of eases you into things but by the same token it gives you a false sense of value as for example:

You would fight ACE Angel and have a good looking match, Maybe win.
You would fight Shawn O'Malley and have a good looking match, Maybe win.

You would go on to fight K'D Angelo and he would fold you like a cheap suit, and you'd probably complain or quit.

 

I've seen both sides of the coin, for everyone saying "TAKE IT EASY" there are folks here who got WAFFFLE stomped early on and worked out for the better,
Parca, Bash, C-Note,  Dupree, Off the top of my head. There isn't really a wrong or right answer because the last thing you want is someone to get gassed, as fun as it is to watch them fall down after getting a big head.

 

That being said I really don't disagree with any of the sentiments. It's very Big Sister/Brother. But I feel between that and the RP it leads more into a HEELish route which makes sense. All things considered Junko is in it for the Long haul so the point is moot as this like what the 4th or 5th waffle stomping. It is kinda cool cuz it helps build sympathy on a visceral level and when Junko finally scores a W assuming no FPR is broken (which did happen in the Opening match WHEW ) it will be very sweet for Junko.

But enough about that I guess I'm going to start leaning back into my bag of telling it like it is. And you can choose to be upset, ignore, take the advice do better or worse I personally don't care if you can handle criticism or not lmao.

Anyway with that I didn't hate the show.  Maybe ill go back to to a mini review format that will spitefully last 4 weeks its easier to speak than type for me or text to speech.

 

Random thoughts MAYBE will get concrete later on also note this isn't in any kind of order so get fucked on that.

 

Parca actually playing the fat pussy heel I don't hate. Talks a big game can back it up but with Reese its different. The slap, followed by the IMMEDIATE "I'M SORRY I DIDN'T MEAN IT" took me right the fuck out. It was to the point it was pro wrestling and it was great. Parca is terrified of the Slaminator see the gif on discord for more information. I don't hate where this is going. WHAT I DO HATE however is Mark's Artificial Intelligence voice. He finally starts speaking and it sounds like Maxx Edwards AI Voice just with a lower / higher (insert audiophile knowledge here. Colin would know what I mean). They sound eerily similar and I don't like it. AI cannot and will not have a country twang to it unless you get one from an established country ass person. The whole AI voice thing is another can of worms but I'm in the middle some work out really well and some just are missing something. Reese is one that needs an overhaul drastically.

 

The Mind of Quartz stuff was cathartic and bitter sweet. But a very wise man once said "How Can I Miss You If You Don't Go Away".
There really isn't anything that can be said to quantify what this person has meant to me personally and to this. I'm gonna stop there cuz I am legit getting misty. RP aside.

 

I was and maybe still AM iffy on the Bash vs B17 saga. DNS has there fingers in many pies. On top of that Bash is technically semi fresh off the boat what a year veteran? I mean I fully understand Jimmy Jim is well liked and easy to work with so any heavy lifting he can help B17. Now to be clear as a Rookie vs Ashley match (GET THE JOKE CLEAR NO DAMAGE HAAHAHAHA im sorry). Bash has improved EXPONENTIALLY I still think about that Pugh vs Bash match at the tail end of last season MOTY imho. I get the whole try something new schtick that B17 is doing it keeps things exciting, it's just with how volatile things can be on the platform i'd hate to see a 1 and done as in. Say B17 loses Bash's first defense against whoever the fuck he folds, we seen it a few times its the nature of the beast. So while I don't love it I don't hate it. I've emotionally terrorized B17 enough that he will pull off a classic just to spite me and Bash went from a scrub to pretty fucking competent so after my hesitation watch them tear the fucking house down. Too old greasy Yakubians wrestling rings around everyone lmao.

I like and I am excited for the the Dragana, HURRICANE stuff. If you don't know HURRICANE HOLLY HUNTER, that's cool one of the premiere dance partners for EMP a season or 2 ago (it's been a minute) Expound that to the Main Event which I found to be incredibly solid PERFORMANCE by both it was very exciting to watch I'm also a Hifumi and Dragana mark so that helps. What I didn't like however was the finish sister. A 480P musical interlude into Alpine Slammage Signaturism 1 2 3. Obviously comp is comp and I'll never bitch in that regard. But it's jarring to me for someone as non killer to strike with a distraction vs say a roll up in true (youll get em next time kid fashion unlike ASHLEY ok ill stop im just fking around). Then we go to the Ring of Honor Handshake it kind of bugged me. It's not huge but its a producer note. The Staredown with Holly cinched it PRO WRESTLING ITS VERY SIMPLE.

 

The Horse Jordan saga is fun but the RP went a lil too long and I don't know felt a little shooty to me. I know some of you stuffy motherfuckers like to shit on horse cuz he's over without having pixels et al. But the fact he came here years ago as a NON NATIVE ENGLISH SPEAKING PERSON and has not only grasped the english language but can speak better than some of yall (me included) speaks volumes. I don't think any of use can show up to a Non English league in a language we barely know and flourish. But I digress my horse glazing with his mens warehouse pants. Casually Violent Matteo is a vibe, sport coat and face paint ill probably pop. Interested to see where dis goes.

The Mass Effect Hydration Station, Titration Coalition mission shit is good stuff. I JUST WISH IT WAS ONE VIDEO and NOT 2 its simple I appreciate not trying to spoil each other but sometimes you gotta just relent and one person has to know (video person combining). I mean that or ill just make things stream exclusive (save me time I did this for Scotty X Segment which I really enjoyed and would have uploaded but the resolution was off and I'm like NOPE).  My other gripe I know sometimes we can't help it but the fucking SMACKDOWN thing in Drago's office infuriated me probably because it was the only thing dormant maybe tilt angle so we jsut see some blue IDK it grated my cheese majorly. That being said the content itself was good shit PRO WRESTLING BABY!

I picked the DAWG / MArisa/ Bash to open the show because fuck it why not. Very fun Segment and the fact we are finally addressing the Elephant in the room of Mad Dawg being in the RyVerse and Bash telling Dawg to bring it on back to the fold even if he was dressed like some kind of Great Value Indonesian WWE Fan Cosplay of the "undertaker" UnderFaker? IDK. Only for Marisa to come out and be like NO FUCK BASH. Kick rock toots while Dawg is distressed. How Attitude Era!

Sheldon v Carter was incredibly exciting and def runner up if not MOTY (be sure to vote only 12 so far theres 45 fucking ppl here at any given time stop being lazy I bet if it was Vote for Insert title shot or FPR change Here you motherfkers would fall over each other to vote. Support your community THANKS. Ahem Sheldon and John look to be on similar levels where once upon a time John boy was top of the heap stick wise for a while. All that I find the feud with Jordan Trance paid off because I am kind of a John Carter fan ATM (I hate this feeling). I could see after the dust settling between Parca and Reese that John Boy shows up. Hell maybe he wins and has a tepid as fuck run /shrug. Anyway fantasy booking aside very solid match as I said on stream GOOD SHIT. These 2 right now just get it. And John has toned down his Meta horseshit.

I'll add more later maybe but I wanted to touch on the Valk Clark Segment. Simple to the point and Masterfully done. (Lips not moving is weird but its diff tech) the frame on everything else was fucking masterclass. The followup was also to quote Colin Locke, "ACES".  It's a lot of the little things the attention to details that gets me on top of that per usual doesn't overstay its welcome.  CINEMATIC PRO WRESTLING. My concern is Valks Cardio I know Perl can go despite being a rookie. We will get a better gauge next week in Main Event (totally no pressure EH). With wrestling sometimes your favorite you get nervous when they come back to see if they still got it. OCWFED it's no different I am always nervous when the elderly show up cuz I know ppl like to be cute (not so much now but you get the idea). Which is why I was so pleased at Both lution elderly matches. With that I feel the same pit (and im not even competing). But Valks tag partner is metal gear solid. Super excited for next weeks main event "also nervous"

Oh boy Friday night sparked quite the discussion we got goin' on here huh? 

 

Thank you for all the kind words, tips, critique and overall help with getting familiar with this crazy universe I've decided to take part in. It's been a wild ride. 

 

That being said, I thought this would be the perfect time to let everyone know that effective immediately, Junko will be going abso-fuckin-lutely nowhere! What you thought she was gonna commit seppuku?

 

Jokes aside. To be honest I wasn't really too pissed off about the match. Did she punk me? Maybe.  It's more on me tbh.  Gotta just be better. Just being to slow to get the  mechanics down vs Server connection (On my momma, I will though and then it's showtime!)  there's typically a mental wall I break down when it comes to "combat" games. This isnt any different.  My goal is get people talking about her whenever they see her. That includes putting on a show in the ring. but in due time.

 

She wasn't just talking shit at the Wrestlelution folks. The Junko World Tour is inevitable in OCW. Bus just needs an oil change... a kickstart .....and a new steering wheel right now. Once is starts rolling, Hop on or move the fuck out the way.
