Versus Posted April 10, 2008 Posted April 10, 2008 Because I love you all so very much...it's time for my... Stonereview. Page 1. The show opens with RD Money coming down to the ring for a lil victory speech. After a win over 3 other men at Lution...why shouldn't he? After he repeats to the crowd a few times, that he's still CCW champion, he goes on to say he's the greatest CCW champion of all time. Most people wouldn't disagree....but Versus does. And he makes it known immediately by making his way down to the ring in quite a neat shirt. (see for yourself jerks) The verbal battle goes on shortly as Vs lets RD know that the battle between RD and Vs isn't over...it's only beginning. Next the announcers bring us into a Wrestlution 3 recap video, created by Cross. (awesome vid great job) Brad Bauer makes a welcome appearance as he congratulates Leon, and explains that Deano suffered a severe injury after BradBauer suplexed him off of the ladder and onto the floor. Not the ring..the floor. He goes on to commend Deano's actions, saying "What impressed me about Deano, is the fact that despite those nasty falls he took, he still managed to finish the match." Brad then informs us that Gaines will be filling in for the injured Deano. Guess it pays to have a tag partner after all. Brad then explains how he is one of the best in ring performers of our generation, and how one Mr. Maniac Matt Wilson is going to be paying Brad Bauer out of his ass. Hopefully Wilson's got some change stored up there, or else I'm not watching that match. Next up, first match of the evening. Tyro Kraven faces a returning Eddie "\_0_/" Allen. I constantly mark for Tyro's entrance, but I think EA's intro music is perfect for his character. You can tell EA's rusty, and Tyro...as usual is on his game. Tyro comes up with a nice victory, and takes a step forward in finally answering..."Who is Tyro Kraven?!" Hey, it's Vinny Valmont! Vinny, with a big cut on his head, threatens a cameraman to give VV some face time. Vinny explains how he may be banged up, but Val "I'm A Pretty Big Deal" Finale, is in for a disturbingly grotesque beating. Poor, poor Val. Page 2. Page 2 opens with the First Class Solution's locker room filled with conflict. With an upcoming 1 on 1 battle between the dynamic tag teammates, Ryder only expects the best from Aries when they're in the ring together. Aries, being the light hearted stoner he is, can't see why Ryder's getting so flustered...and neither can I. Smoke on Aries, smoke on! Our next match is Vinny Valmont facing Val "My Shit Smells Like Lavender" Finale. Vinny dropped the diaper, but is still having a hard time pickin up a W. Val, now just roll with it. Get a few more wins, and who knows...maybe you'll be able to afford wrestling gear. You know, I smell a BB VV match, so one of em can pick up a W. Jeni (Gaines) brings in lil Gaines to introduce his family to the Revolution. Gaines Jr., gets a nice bedtime story from Deano and yours truly. Thank god we didn't get into details, or else he'd be the only baby on the block who needs a psychiatrist, a pack of condoms and a bong. The best part is when lil Gaines mistakes Nate for Gaines. See, these are the negative effects of your "I'm Nate Ortiz" phase. CHUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUURCH!! Soul Glo makes his eagerly awai...long time....Soul Glo's BACK!! And he is NOT happy! Not one bit. He lets the fans down by letting them know that he is NOT associating himself with JCS, or the fans, because he takes Jay's "You're all just paying rent" monacre literally. So he assumes that the fans and Jay have a business relationship, and ends off his soulful angered rant with "So adjust your tint, get yo color right, and your brightness, cuz this is SOULLLLL GLO Comin to you LIVE in 3D, HI-FI, TECHNICOLOR. Fittin to TUNE YO TRINITRON!! That was straight up and down like 6 o' clock..... CHUUUUURCH!!" I love that line. Page 3. It's your 17 Stones and Under Champion, Dick Blood. After what some people consider stealing a win from the grasps of Ed Reed, he stands in front of the Turmoil crowd Champion. And boy does he let people know it. He's DEFINITELY one to say 'I told you so'...a few dozen times. But wait....what's this...Air? Where's Doodles?! Being an American, an ignorant American, I'm going to summarize Air/Blood's interaction like this: They were debating about Europe and European stuff. Air lets Blood know, he wants gold...his gold. And Air plans on getting it, no matter how many witty remarks Blood tosses his way. Next matchup, Aries faces his partner Chris Ryder. Normally when a match lasts this long, it's because niether person knows how to pull the trigger and end it. But this time, it's because they know each other so well. Long match, but worth the watch. Aries surprisingly upsets Ryder, after one hell of a reversal battle leading up to the finish. Great match. But wait...they're not leaving the ring quite yet. Ryder congratulates his partner, and lets the CCW locker room know how "this is how it's done". They go on to say that if anyone thinks they're ahead of the First Class Solution for a title, to show their faces. Well cook my grits...if it isn't our old friend SOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUULLLL GLO! Soul comes out and explains to these two gentlemen that they're " just TWO MO WHITEY's that CCW has overprivileged. Shooooot...now I know why it's called CCW. Cracka on Cracka Wrestling." After a few more verbal shots, and Soul Glo's discovery that Aries is actually Scottish, it ends with putting out a warning of his own...don't cross his path...chuuuurch. Next up some words from the man for whom I can say I marked at Lution...Maniac Matt Wilson, and Nathan Gaines. When they run into each other in the back, you have to keep your eyes glued to their words and actions. With the history they have together, you never know when it's gonna pop off. But, they maturely let each other know that they're doing their own things, and to stay out of each others way. Or they will pay. Listen to what they say. Maybe they can lay by the bay, roll around in the hay, or make things out of clay. They just may! Whaddya say? Page 4. Trips makes his first appearance after retaining the Television championship at Wrestlution 3. But his appearance is short lived, as he is assisted down the ramp by two men in white. He lets everyone know that he saw a doctor, and was told not to wrestle until the tests, and x-rays come back. Of course...Trips...you may want to look into getting another doctor. There's something about a doc named "Jan Itor" that makes me think he should be in a different profession. I dunno, could just be me. Deano still wants to wrestle. "the Horse is ready to ride!" Normally when I hear that I get goosebumps and the urge to clench my asscheeks and run. But this time, it's good, because it shows that Deano, although extremely banged up, gives enough of a crap about his fans to even consider wrestling. What a heart on that fella. But, Gaines talks Deano out of it, and then promises prostitutes to him for after the match. Gotta love paying for sex. It's time for Brad Bauer to go face to face with the man replacing Deano for tonights competition...Nathan Gaines. Man, Gaines is all OVER this CCW. I'd say let's rename it Gaines Championship Wrestling for the night, but it makes for a horrid acronym...yipes. Gaines rockin the Revolutionary color combo of Red/White, and Brad Bauer switching from his blue/white/yellow combo to a more subtle black/red/orangy combo (that thing on your tights Brad...at 320x240 is tuff to see). Both attires are better than Val "I get my wrestling gear from Old Navy" Finale. This match so far, gets my bid for motn. Back and forth action, two great in ring performers in Gaines/Bauer. But wait...what's this? Or should I say, "WHAT THE HELL IS MMW DOING THERE!!" OMG what a finish, I didn't see this coming at ALL. Great vid, great surprise ending. Not blowing it, watch for yourself asses. Next up an auspicious interaction between Soul Glo and Tyro, seemingly two peas in a pod. What could come of thier discussion at the Casa De Soul? I'm sure Chuuuuuuuuuuuuurch was involved. Page 5. Strider and Reed, tag team perfection. That's the only way I can describe them. Interact like brothers, fight like brothers, and win like brothers. Another reason I like em...they're anti-SWO. Gotta love that. The plan for these two seems to be, take everyone out so Strider/Reed can go 1 on 1 again. Let's see how that plan works out. Becuause up next...the main event! First things first, RD...what the hell are you wearing? Normally, I'd go to your character first as one that stands out for stylish attires but damn dude. Scrapin the bottom of the barrel with that one. Looks like you borrowed all your stuff from Baxter...in real life. OHHHH SNAP! Right off the bat, I start thinking... RACE WAR!!! But they put an end to that and then there's all sorts of black on black, and white on white crime. A long way through the match before anyone's eliminated. But of course, it's gotta be poor, poor, FI winner, Leonheart. After the elimination of Leon, this turns into a 2 on 1 with RD being the target. It's moments like this when I (VS) can smile and say "Have fun....champ." hahah. That's just how good tag teams play when they're in the ring together. Take note. RD being the champ he is, gives himself some space by tossing Reed into the corner and beating up on Strider. When Reed decieds to take a leap of faith into a soaring rebound ddt...ON HIS OWN PARNTER!! OMG!!! RD see's this as a grand opportunity, and being the opportunIST, RD waits for enough room, then BOOM, RD lands his finisher on Reed!! Takes out Strider with a powerful clothesline, then pins Reed. It's down to two men, Sean Strider and RD Money. A true battle, much, much better than I expected between these two. At one point, RD makes sure Strider knows exactly how he feels about him (and I assume the entire caucasian pursuasion) when he flips Strider off in the corner. Which was a baaaaad move. Because Strider picks up momentum, lands a few big moves, and then BAM! Finisher! Your winner, Sean Strider. Congrats to you Strider. I can't wait to see how Strider and Reed react to such an odd set of occurances between them. All in all I think this was a fantastic show. No FPR quaffs, no BS, just a good quality show. I hope people actually get a chance to watch. So Smythe, take a break from the Wonder Report this week. I got it. :) http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d103/JDVS/footprints_1.jpg
Tyro Kraven Posted April 10, 2008 Posted April 10, 2008 Awesome review. I hope the reason why the discussion has been low because everyone needed there time to digest lution and not because a rare occasion there was nothing to bitch about. http://i53.photobucket.com/albums/g58/Undertaker1012/281x211.jpg Finishers: "Where is Tyro?!" (Front,F-U 2) "Faaaceeebusstaaaaaah!!" ( Back, Facebuster 06) Signature moves: Oversell punches (Grapple) Fancy footwork punches (Grapple)

Brad Bauer Posted April 10, 2008 Posted April 10, 2008 Hey, being my bag boy got that sumbitch a ton of great air time and he's done fine with it. Although he loses his matches quite often, he's good at the game and decent to play against.
