Headliner's Highlights

• MMW Vs. BB at End Games= Big PPV Payoff

• Tyro may have one of the worst records on Turmoil, but he is clearly one of the most over Wrestlers. Tyro is a young Jericho. Excellent wrestler, but can't seem to win the match. He puts over Irving, and then does a great job telling a story with the ref. *Rookies Take notice. Tyro's W/L record means nothing compared to the value he brings to the CCW Brand.

• Heaton Vs. Wilson....Heaton has an odd in ring presence. I'm not a fan of it, but its effective. For the record, WILSON has this match clearly won after hitting the Sole Tap at the mid mark. He must have fucked up and hit a ground grapple instead of a pin. Ring rust will do that to you. Heaton, like the scavenger that he is, manages to find a way to come back from the dead and pick Wilson's bones till he can get a pin. Is it me or does it look like Heaton is tossing some Wilson salad at the end of that match? Taint maybe?

• Ministry/MMM...I don't really have an opinion either way. Kids, take notes, MMM is the Scott Hall of CCW. He's a major star despite the W/L record. Ministry is kind of one of those characters you go MEH for. Too much gimmick for my taste.

• Soul Glo + Heel factor= High quality entertainment. Is it me or is Chris Ryder the VAL VENIS of CCW? Remember Val? Sure you do, several years ago he was a big star. Multiple time Mid Card title holder, now he's jobbing more than the brooklyn brawler. Ryder= Val Venis...I was a fan of Venis and still am...same with Ryder. it's just a shame that his stock is plummeting faster and harder than internet porn crashing my hard drive yesterday. Ryder needs a gimmick change quickly. and as for a WTF moment...WTF is up with the Red Hair?

• S.E.X.? Well...Gaines hasn't destroyed Deano's career yet. Maybe 11th time is a charm? Not sure why the name change exactly, but the fact is, these two work well as a team.

• Blood/Air fued is boiling...get it...okay, that was a lousy metaphor. Blood puts Malu on Air. Poor Air gets crushed. Malu is a tough cookie...monster.

• IF YOU DON'T MARK FOR VAL FINALE, GET THE FUCK OUT!!! Great gimmick, great attire, great entrance music. I can see this character in a real wrestling organization. The name is cliche'...but Jesus christ, give this man a shot at the TV title already!!! Regan, where did you get that wonderful Singlet? No seriously, I want one.

• TRIPS/JONES could be a fued in the making. Maybe we'll see Trips actually defend his title again...at End Games...wow, let's rename this title the PAY PER VIEW CHAMPIONSHIP....because that's the only time it ever gets defended. (Yes Trips I know...you have the rings...well, at least you say you have the rings. I think you actually have the "3 Rings of...hey, I'm going to have a LOOOOOOOOOOooooooooong TV Title Run if my Xbox suddenly stops working.")

• RD/VS rp...great start to building the CCW title match at End Game

• Main event match was an odd choice for booking this week. Two of CCW's top faces in a Cage match. Smythe, read page one...this explains the need for a steel cage. (To cover up the odd booking...not that I'm complaining, I digs the cage) Versus is a strong grapple reversing machine. He gets ahead...but runs out of steam with his momentum. BB's luck still hasn't run out? VS is always fun to play, the commentary, and the fact that he smoked a brick of icky sticky before the match made it superbly entertaining. You haven't experienced a VS Main Event unless you are wrestling against him. The color commentary is second to none. VS gets so baked, he forgets to set the pinfalls in the match. LAFF...back to the match. Don't EVER sleep on the "HEADLINER"...I can and will hit it out of no where and claim victory over you. Luckily, I find myself right next to the cage....waste no time in taunting. I climb as Versus starts to get up quickly. "HEY DICK, HOW'S ABOUT SELLING MY FINISHER....who do you think you are? RD MONEY?" I escape the cage with a little bit of time to spare.

As far as the FPR in the match goes. I re-watched the match because Versus, nor myself had any issues with FPR during the match itself. There were a few tylers on both ends, normal stuff. We went strong grapples all match long because the fans want to see that. I'm reading other reports suggesting I RAN TOO MUCH. I say, watch the WHOLE FUCKING match you neanderthals. Smythe, that goes for you too....you loud mouthed rapping african canadian. WOW...I just coined a new adjective for black canadians........African Canadian...how bout African North American? Okay...I HIT A TOTAL OF 3...3....yes, 3....that was again 3...and for all you kids keeping score 3 Running strikes TOTAL in that match. I attempted Two running grapples and was reversed both times. I happened to do a running shoulderblock, followed by a GROUND REVERSAL BY VERSUS...then I hit a closeline shortly after. Big fucking deal. Do not throw my Ethics up in the wind because you didn't like the outcome of the match. If I want to save my running strikes for when they count most, than where's the problem? Heaton hit more running strikes in his match than Bobby Brown hit Whitney with in 10 years of marriage. Versus will agree, it was a good fucking contest. Watch the match...count the number of whips and running attacks. Very low...all around. Suck mah balls.

wasn't talking the whole match... the end... you hit 2 in a row... in a crucial part of the match... without doing anything else in between... something that doesn't usually happen... especially in a good match...

Shit happens. I had fun that match. I'll have you know that Brad requested that I smoke some Ooohwee before our match. A normal ritual for me. Helps me...um...stay in character...or sumn. What he didn't ask me to do, was smoke DURING the match. That was my own choice, you're not the boss of me! Yeah, I don't normally set up the matches because I tend to forget what match I'm in, or screw up the arena or some minute detail that throws the whole match off. Memory's not my strong suit.

 

As for the show, my life's a clusterfuck, so I didn't get too much time to watch the whole thing yet. But the matches that I'm watching are getting me happy. Not in the pants, but happy none the less. I love that the biggest complaint about this week was Brads "running". I mean, seriously, if that's the biggest complaint, we've hit the apex of FPR cohesion. When I get finished watching, I'll drop a "Great show" but a couple lil things I did read earlier in this thread that made me laugh.

 

1) I wore the same shirt last week

2) Soul Glo returned last week

 

So, I will forever call last weeks Turmoil, the Ghost episode.

So digging the new attire there Brad and glad VS went back to his old song (Realized that he did earlier then this but hadn't said anything). So going into this match I notice Bauer is like really small cause I know Versus isn't tall but he has atleast 5-6 inches on Bauer.

 

Versus is on the Roids man. Actually, BB is 5"10; 240lbs. Compared to some of the normal sized wrestlers in OCW/CCW, I stack up fine.

 

I remember VS being smaller in 07. I am about the same size as Majin, although he may be taller.

Dont have much to apologize for if you're including me in this. I just said i didnt like the ending,if i tough it was cheap or against fpr i would have said that. It wasnt as epic as i would have hoped. The rest of the match was a good ^^. And thanks for the comments in your report,appreciate it *bows*

 

I hope i will learn this "ending matches" thing quicker then Jericho did -_-
