OCW Turmoil 06-24-2008: RV RIDES AGAIN!!!

Bold, I hate you because you always own me in DMs...but I will say that was a nice video. It was well put together.

 

On another note, I have to say that Reed as a clown...is pretty damn spooky. I enjoyed the triple threat...which is a suprise because most triple threats are horrendously long..I mean...it was long, but its EX ffs, if it wasn't exciting, those three would have neede to GTFO! And Porter...you are a faggot, but nice win anyway, you deserve it man, I'd just like to see more from you.

 

Leon takes on Irving. To be honest I was expecting a very close match between the two..and well...they sort of delivered. I don't know why, but Seth seems to be using an extra dosage of jobber lately.

 

Cross and Trips was just a straight out brawl. Great match from both competitors. Not much else to say, but I would love to see these two again in the future.

 

Fag James vs Smythe. Close match. Kang is slowly proving he will stop at nothing to prove why he deserves to be a big player. And Leon...you fail at helping!

 

ME was decent. Nice to see Majin pull out the W...although I would have liked to see Versus win as that man needs it. He's been on sort of a losing streak for quite a few Turmoil's.

 

Like I said in the beginning..Bold, that video owned lol.

 

Overall, twas a decent Turmoil. I'll add in something about RP's a little later, as I only had time to watch the matches.

Great Turmoil. I thought all the choices for the matches were awesome. Im not sure if weve seen these match ups before but Leon vs Seth I thought interesting...although it was supposed to be Mace. The hell happen to you Mace? I've never faught Trips before so that was new and Kang vs Smythe was a nice choice also and build up was good. All matches were solid as well. So good showing match wise on this Turmoil.

 

Quick Notes

 

- I dig Irving's new intro music, great match. Nice comeback but just fell short. Mace would have got the job done.

 

- Big Joe D calls me out yet again...I don't know what the reasoning is behind this. You calling me out makes no sense although you can pretty much guarantee you will take a shot at me in everyone one of your RPs. Get over your grudge from a year ago for having to redo a match because you broke FPR...then made me tap in orange red (used to be double red to finish) in the second match. Calling me out in your RPs isnt going to do you any good and im not trying to start some feud with you so disregard anything Big Joe says about me as having anything to do with a storyline.

 

- Kang and Aries had some funny RPs. Good work, Kang says some classic lines.

 

- I agree with Bold. I don't like all these manager matches. It was a nice touch in the Kang match a couple weeks ago. You guys are a faction, I get it, but I rather watch a match normal view.

 

- New custom intro music is pretty tight. I dig.

 

- The closing of the show is GREAT and MAGNIFICENT! Editing job was top notch and it left us with a cliffhanger. Is Trips dead? The hell happend?

 

And my thoughts on the main event. People said good match...? I was very dissapointed. Running was spammed like crazy and there were tons of tylers when someone would go to get up theyd be punched right away. Majin would use his run slap method yet back up when Versus was trying to initiate a grapple. It was a cluster of a match. The managers there made it suck more with the view. Terrible match IMO. I'd say good win for Majin but it seems all Versus has been doing as of late is lose. Which is fine hes been going out in style putting on good matches...he just might have to switch roles with Smythe as the underdog at the PPV.

I got two complaints and one was for my FPR a year ago. Watch my match with Trips and stop calling me out in ALL of your RPs. Last time I watched your match your FPR was horrific...so dont be talking like you dont have any problems. Im fine with a joke here in there but when you take a shot at me in all of your RPs I will say enough. Next time you mention me send me the RP so I can approve it. Try being active rather writing a RP once a month and calling me out in them.

The matches were good, still reading the RP's... Shit still reading the RP's from Riot. It's getting ridiculous in a good ass way, anyways the matches.

 

The 3 way was good, but there 3 ways and I hate them so. This was however good, I marked when Jacky Robinson won it. Also mark for Jackie's entrance song, also like Reed's Final Act entrance.

 

The main man with the got damn plan Leon against Seth. Was a good ass match, I liked it. Thought Leon would tare Seth up but actually Seth looked good as hell and reminded us who use to be a CCW Champ in the end tho Leon took it, would have marked if Mace came out and continued the assault or something.

 

Criss Cross Cock Sauce against Trips, semi marked to see Ajax come out with Cross, liked that tag entrance on them. This was another good ass match, really like a nice little brawl going on between the to with nice grapples. When it came down to it I thought Trips was going to pull it out then bam he losses his finisher so it was like a that sucks moment. Cross made sure that would never happen again and made sure he would finish it at that so he put Trips away with the ram of his shoulder.

 

My match was yet again another fun one, actually wished that Leon and Malu would take each other on during Me and Smythes fight, either way tho it was all good. Actually glad Leon screwed that ref break up since we are face and that seems more of a heelish move.

 

Main Event, Ma'Jin's first match back and I think his first match as Wrath, was good. Would have actually liked to see Poe come out with Vs instead of Smythe, haven't really seen Poe get involved with his stable members in an actual match type thing so it would have really been good to see him with Vs, that and Smythe and Vs have on the same title. During this match you could tell Smythe wanted to fight Steve outside the ring and he eventually did a little near the end which was good. Liked Smythes little trying to break up the ref at the end, made it seem like he was still trying to break it up even tho he new it couldn't, just that little thing helps.

 

Boldo taking out Trips, saw it earlier and I mark just as much as I do now. Like how Reed and Martin stand on each side with a Kendo stick and then Big Bad Boldo comes out from the smoke and slowly walks to Trips like it's Trips end, mark worthy shit.

Calling out someone in RP without letting them know what's up is a no no.

 

I agree with Cross on the ME was to runny and more time needs to be given on the resets.

 

Again folks if someone reverses you or the initiate their attack (striking your or stun grappling) try to reverse the move. Do not just hit the strike or quick grapple buttons. This weeks match that jumped out to me in regards to this was Seth vs Leon. There were a number of times I saw Seth do this. Watch it please.
