Chris Mania Posted July 4, 2008 Posted July 4, 2008 I'm not sure, but it looks like if you have a flatlining moveset, you're going to be successful in this 'thing'. Playing for the draw 'cause of a time limit? I see cheese all over the place on this one. Yeah that 15 minute time limit is gonna be killer for me. I also think that the 15minute rule should not be in effect if 2 people are tied at say 6/6 and are facin each other in the last group stage match. Administrators Mr.Sensation Posted July 4, 2008 Administrators Posted July 4, 2008 Boldo and nate and a few others have finished matches in less than 15 without flatlining. 15-06, 18:20 Tiberius Dupree make him tap with brownie mix "Booking Wrestling is the most thankless no-win position anyone could ever be in. When things go well it's the talent that makes it work. Wesley Adams Poe Posted July 4, 2008 Posted July 4, 2008 I don't mind the 15 minute rule too much, but if the two guys are having a great match, it's probably gonna go over 15 minutes.TIE, but in hindsight i guess we just have to deal with it. see how it works out first. http://www.threadbombing.com/data/media/2/Hooray2.gif 2009 Season: Singles Record:3/2/0 Tag (Including Handicaps):0/0/0 Gimmick Matches:Trip.Threats:0/1/0 Championship Matches: Total:3/3/0 Career Achievements: Dual Champ. Eddie Mace Posted July 4, 2008 Posted July 4, 2008 Yeah it's the final score that'll determine it anyways...and if you have a bunch of fucking ties you aren't moving on end of story. If anything it will push people to be more agressive and kill moonwalking. If the idea fails, then lesson learned. At least we gave it a shot & know not to do it again. Wesley Adams Poe Posted July 4, 2008 Posted July 4, 2008 actually it would be interesting...if every match for a team ends up a tie...the team will end up with the same score all around, no leaders. What then? http://www.threadbombing.com/data/media/2/Hooray2.gif 2009 Season: Singles Record:3/2/0 Tag (Including Handicaps):0/0/0 Gimmick Matches:Trip.Threats:0/1/0 Championship Matches: Total:3/3/0 Career Achievements: Dual Champ. Only problem is this kind of an experiment IMO is that it shouldn't used untested in a tournament for the top title. Sensation: "I'm an ignorant hispanic."

What then? The word 'team' for this is actually a misnomer. This tourney is just a round robin style tourney. 'Group' or 'pool' would have been more accurate. Sensation: "I'm an ignorant hispanic."
Smythe D. Wonder Posted July 5, 2008 Posted July 5, 2008 I think it's gonna kick ass... we'll see who cheeses and who doesn't... we'll see who flatlines... who is playing for the mighty W and who is playing to enjoy themselves... Tie breakers... RP's with people rooting for enemies... upsets... KO OCW will be sick... but technically matches still aren't being fully watched... as I've seen alot of things in matches that nowone seems to point out... I think for the Kig of OCW tournament the Wonder Report will return to show how people are playing... yeah... that'll be a good look...
