The opening of the show with Steve’s RP, reminded me of how TNA starts their shows: with a short bit that is immediately followed by the TNA intro music and video. I always liked that about TNA as it kind of puts you in the right mindset before actually starting the show.

I have to admit that I was a big Nate Ortiz fan when I came to OCW, so it was cool to see him all “Mad” and stuff, not stepping aside and actually going right after the title. It was refreshing… then VerSuse had to be Mr. Buzzkill. Actually, I’m really interested to see what he has planned, concerning his remarks once Nate was “escorted” from his presence.

The main thing I liked about the Judas Hallows/ Omega Dragon RP is how it setup the match. Some people might not think about it, while others may look for it every time they watch wrestling, but it’s a tricky thing to explain why two guys want to wrestle each other and make it more interesting than just, “Grrrrr, me no likey him”. The stunt gone wrong, leading the initial meeting… the way each superstar showed a little bit about themselves and the differences between them… and just how it all flowed in a short, but intriguing RP – it was very well done.

As for the match between Judas and OD, it seemed to run a bit long. I know allot of people are reluctant to end a match without a finisher, but if it isn’t a PPV match, I’d suggest trying to end it as soon as you can. I’m not saying to try and rush to victory, but if someone is Red/Orange, try to hit your finisher if the opportunity presents itself. Once your opponent is Double Red, forget about trying to regain that blinking finisher and just hit your signature move or a reasonable ending move. I, for one, wouldn’t hold it against anyone if they hit me with a finisher at Red/Orange or used ended the match appropriately when I’m DR. I’d much rather have a good quick match, than go on for another 10 minutes with the “I’m injured” animation throughout. After a while of that animation, I honestly want to get pinned lol. That’s just an opinion though… feel free to tell me to fuck off.

Oh, Smythe and his cuz, Wesley (Appropriately named after Wesley Snipes, who’s been referred to as the man who brought Dark Sexy Back). It’s an interesting dynamic they have going there, but I’m still “da’wondering” where it will lead to in the future. See what I did there?

Wesley then happens to run into Reed and either makes a big mistake or a bold move. You can’t really tell the difference until all is settled, but I’m gonna guess it’s the first one. Wesley stands up for his cuz; thus leading to a match against the EX-Champeen. I may have been gone for a while, but I remember doing the LotR charts and Ed Reed was no pushover… but that’s obvious when he always seems to have gold on his person.

We’re introduced to a possible future confrontation between Mace and Nate Ortiz, as both men exchange “less than friendly” words. I happen to agree with Nate’s remarks about how Mace relies on his “friends” to get by… cus during my match with Mace, Seth Irving was totally giving me the stink eye from the crowd and it threw me off my game. You tell him, Nate.

The Reed/Wesley match was great. Look at lil’ Wonder take it to the EX-Champ. Unfortunately, when Westley Snipes (yeah, I’m going back to that reference) said, “Always bet on black” in Passenger 57, he should have said, “Always bet on the lighter shade of black”. None the less, the back and forth exchanges near the end were fun to watch and it looked like Reed almost had it won earlier in the match, if not for that damn “Headache” animation after the lucha combo move. He still managed to pull the rabbit out of the hat and gave us a good show with Wesley.

Carlos seems to have stepped into some deep BEEP. Taco Bell references, a mysterious letter followed by screaming in Spanish – oh yeah, it looks like the voice is the least of his problems.

Leon “Achey Breaky” Heart tries to enjoy his recent title win with the crowd, but VerSuse has his hand steady and ready over that buzzkill buzzer once again. What would have been a definite crowd pleasing moment, when Leon announced he was willing to give Nate his rematch on Turmoil, quickly turned into an exhibition of power by V.F.M. Checks and balances my friends, checks and balances. But who knows, maybe the surprise mystery opponent for Leon will turn out to be twice as mark worthy.

Sorry, Death, you lose! It was Professor Watermelon/Plum? Yeah, Kip’s right… that isn’t a good combo after all. Poe is a no show so on we go to keep the flow, because Even Knox is ready to throw them bows… ya know?

Smythe gives props to his protégé, while still keeping him in check… man I felt like Mark Wahlberg when I typed that. Anyways, Malu also speaks, but much like Smythe, it left me confused. He either wants to rape some birds, or shoot them… or maybe both. I don’t know, but it didn’t sound nice.

Even with high gas prices, Evan Knox and Kip Conrad made sure to fill up on premium fuel and had no problems hitting the gas full blast once the bell rang. I mean, they went out there like warriors and just kept coming at each other like their lives were at stake. The aggressive offence from both made for one hell of a match with little to no time to catch your breath. It was a kind of match that made people happy they saved up to come watch the show.

Kip takes the loss like a… well, a douchebag, but it’s his own fault for drinking a Watermelon/Plum smoothie before the match. I mean, seriously… Plum? I’m surprised Kip didn’t unleash a raging pile of purple BEEP while wrestling… although, it would have made for an interesting ice breaking conversation for all those in the audience. Despite the douchbaggery, Mania has some important news for Kip, regarding RIOT. Stay tuned.

Hehe… that Morrison, what a cooky guy. I just wanted to say I appreciate all the comments made about the RP. I was worried it would bring on a stampede of crickets, but I’m relieved people enjoyed the Nutcase scene and the RP in general. As for the match, Mace had some kind words about my performance, but I did slip up a few times. I won’t get into details, but I was good to finally have an official match after so long. I really missed “being in the ring” and I can’t wait for my next match.

Alright, so an illegal Mexican and a Natzy walk into a bar… wait, you heard this one? Nah, I’m just messin. Cruz bumps into Ryder and we are hit with the big reveal, when it comes to Carlos’ big problem letter from earlier. Apparently, someone tipped off immigration and Carlos might be practicing his border jumping skills in the near future. Don’t worry, Cruz… jumping over a fence is like riding a bike: You never forget, but always make sure to protect your juevos.

Well, it’s late and I’m going to bed, but don’t feel left out if I didn’t mention you, I still have 1 ½ pages left to go through.

Morrison why didn't you just put "MADNESS REPORT" above the post? See kids this is the original OCW show report, information and one liners that is the Morrison Method.

Match comments...Spoon kindly sent me the links to some of the matches so i could watch them :)

Not in any particular order-

Knox vs Kip-That's right Knox! Avenge me! beat that douche :) Knox is a hell of an opponent for a lhvy and can more that hold his own against hvys.

I marked when Kip grabbed the chair off him and smashed him over the head.

Knox has the best lhvy moveset in all of ocw, i say this every week :D

Nice finisher reverse from Knox to keep this match alive, i also liked the hurricanrana set up into the big splash, although the big splash is a lame finisher imo, just looks boring...good match tho. no wonder kip was pissed :)

Mace vs Mad Mike-DAM! Mace is on a hot streak at the moment, the guy is so aggressive! he was kickin Mike's ass and was on for a squash, Mikes reversal skills got him back into the match, Mike has all 10 and 12 damage moves, and does alot of his damage off strikes,so it was gonna be hard for him to gain the damage back.

mark out moment was the toasty finisher mid match, i lmao, although, if that was anybody else but mike doin it, i guarantee people would bitch about a finisher being used mid match. This is the kind of respect mike has around here, we know it wasnt done to gain a cheap advantage,it was done for pure humour, he even stood still and let mace do a free strong grapple after it,and mace hit him with a big knee, you should have just given him a punch.

Good match by these 2,my fellow Madman nearly pulling out the comeback but Mace wins the match on double orange.Only thin i didnt like was Mace hitting 6 ground and pound punches, isnt the ground strike rule 3? i thought it was the same rule for the ground 'n pound.

Kang vs Seth-The Kang desperatly needs a win here after the ppv, some big moves from both men, this is meant in no disrespect to Seth, most running finishers are cheesy, you can duck the cfc and the big boot misses quite alot, but the gore is a fucking lame ass finisher, its basically a cheap way to turn a counterable ground spear move into an unblockable running finisher.I hate it. It was a good back and forth match but Kang should have won, the finish set up was ok,as spoon uses it for the cfc, although spoon runs a bit further, seth ran like 2 steps and gored=lame.

Omega Dragon vs Judas Hallows-Long ass match here, like my buddy Mad Mike mentioned, end that shit off a pin move when your opponent is dr, i marked for the 2 foot stamp off the top rope, back and forth the whole match with some nice moves by both men, lol'd at OD's botched stamp, nice fin revere by Judas, then by OD,wierdest botch move of the year at the 23.15 mark, that looked retarded..lol

The finish was questionable, the rule is stand up ,toe kick, finisher, not stand up,do a move, finisher, if you were gonna whip off a pick up, let your opponent get outta the groggy state first.

Leon vs Spoon-The rock n' roll outlaw is back! Hell Yeah i marked!! fuckin sweet intro by the spooner.Leon is kickin ass the 1st half of this match, if he plays like this against Nate next week he will be fine, but Spoon is the official comeback king of OCW,he is a persistant s.o.b,took me 6 finisher attempts and i couldn't put him away :(

Leon and Spoon always put on a classic match, they work very, very well together, there are certain matches you know your going to enjoy watching and these 2 always deliver, nice fin reversal from spoon, nice victory for the champ.loved the twist at the end...very nice..lol.Leon clearly had a rope break, your ref is blind :)

Mike hittin his fin was an accident (I had assumed but I later found out for sure since he didn't have a mic). I didn't care that much tbh & once I landed the grapple afterwards with ease I knew for sure that he had given me a freebie because of it so it was no big deal really (not that I'd go around telling rooks to do it though because that's a problem waiting to happen).

If you mean I ended it in double orange as far as my damage goes then yes, but Morrison was red/orange and the boot put him in double red.

As far as the ground & pound, I thought we had switched it to only being able to do it once a match, but not limiting the strikes as in the past Boldo for example would do it 2-3 times a match but only go for 3 strikes when he did if I remember. But please someone speak up on this one as I don't want to be taking advantage of grey area.

There's never been a gray area its one time 3 strikes 4 at the very most. I don't know where you got not limiting the strikes.

Show was solid good work by everyone. Versus is a jerk but he's gonna make things interesting which is nice. Lets just hope this type of creativity keeps going.

A Vision: By Vinnie V

Turmoil has been getting better lately. Sorry for submitting this late, but I had the cold and stuck with a boring weekend with the GF. This is going to be another RP only review due to can't watch the matches on Turmoil without waiting days for it to buff.

Page 1-

The Steve...aka The Champ.....aka The International Champ is the perfect rolemodel. :)

Nate angry...Nate smash! Anyway this was a nice RP. You'll be dumb to think VFM was going to let Nate call his own shots with that rematch clause. On that note it looks like VFM uses his new found authority and tells securty to escort Mr.Ortiz out the arena. Looks like he isn't playing games on his first day on the job, and that could only mean great things for OCW...well in a very unique way.

Judas the thrill seeker botches a stunt, haha. It leads to a match with O.D. 2 great ex-wrestlers, hopefully they won't disappoint.

Wesley and Malu seem to be getting along. Smythe seems to be getting softer as the days goes by with Wesley. The Wonder's are both sides of a coin, as indeed they're family.

Page 2-

Looks like Wesley and Reed have a altercation. Bold move by Wesley to step up to Reed, but it's also a nice change of things. More people stepping up, and taking what they can get. But can Wesley take this chance to shine and beat the ex-champ?

While Nate is being escorted out, he gets a little visit from the ex-con Mace. I liked the whole irony, and flip the script during the RP. Tension was brewing, a future feud between these two?

Cruz is hearing voices again. It feels like he's married with the voice, and they argue all the time. Good stuff, btw.

Page 3-

The OCW champ, Leon The Emo is in the ring. But shortly things go a different way for the Emo, as VFM interrupts. In short terms, it looks like we'll be seeing the OCW champ in action with the title on the line. But against who?

Kip and Mania are sharing some smoothies. Sounds too fruity...the smoothies I mean. Looks like Poe no showed, so Knox steps up in replace of Poe to take on the Sunset Strip.

Like I said earlier, it looks like Smythe is finally beginning to take Wesley under his wing, and follow in his footsteps. I feel almost feel sorry for Wesley. The line at the end of the RP was classic, although Malu would just eat the birds.

Kips is furious after his match. I wonder what that means? Anyway, he gives a small message to Brad before Mania interrupts and tells Kip he has a message of his own to give in his office.

Page 4-

Classic RP with Mania and Morrison. Seems we'll be seeing MMM going up against Mace tonight.

HAHA damn immigrants, I knew Cruz was illegal alien!

Aries drinking on the job, some champ! Has AA came back without my knowledge and left some of his drinks around the lockerooms?

Page 5-

Smythe lays down a challenge, hoping for VFM to grant it. He wants the OCW title around his waist and off Leon's, but VFM puts a quick end to that dream.

Some John Doe Jobber thinks he can become the new champ after answering Steve's open challenge. I wonder what's going to happen when someone bigger, badder, and better answers the challenge?

Leon being champ feels a bit like when Peter Parker went emo in Spiderman 3. Great power, comes with great wrist cutting.

Page 6-

Seems Mania's days are over as Regan has returned finally by the power of VFM. A great way to end a show, and hopefully this leads to new things for Turmoil.

See now when some one says something about a match saying they dont like w/e, being a little specific helps like what Mike and Stevens said. That I can understand 100% and helps to know what to work on.

Thanks MadMen

On the ME I told Leon I about choked on my food when I watched the end of that match, the RP after it was a great twist.

I'am turning into a Leon fan.
