I just finished the show and it's a damn good one. The ME threw me for a huge loop. Loved the rps, especially the Irish Jig, got a good chuckle from that. I can tell someone really loves The Dark Knight haha. I really dug the rp though. One thing that I'm not a fan of is the pinfall count not showing up. Looks kinda dumb when at the end of a match the camera just zooms in and you can't see the ref counting. I think the audio should at least be recorded for that reason. If I get time I'll try to write up a review on the matches later, but for now the show was awesome. Great job guys. Way to kick off the year.

My comments, had a bunch but im tired now. Trance looks like the bastard child of AJ Styles, Tyler Ewanchuk and Alex Shelly. Needless to say thats fine but you are still to tall, you towered over Ryder and looked like a heavy, fix it.

 

Deano gets allot of credit for not breaking the mod, although I think he used the wrong title I am going to have to double check. I like his new look, if you didnt notice Deano has dropped allot of weight and seems allot quicker while not EX Division Caliber the new Deano looks good I can see his moveset being adapted to his new stature.

 

Chris Mania has the greatest Attire of 2009 so far, he is still banished from Riot after today, but man that shit was fashionable, I half expected a dyed grey poodle with a diamond leash, and some gogo dancers, while spoon floated to the ring on a piano suspended in midair.....

Justin Rox, not to be rude but the char seems kinda corny to me. I like the attire somewhat but I got a whiff of Heaton. I think with time Rox will grow on me and if it doesnt then hey we can resurrect He who shall not be named......

 

VFM. oh my fucking word. I wanted this to end the show, but there was an RP about finding the fat nerd once again so it wouldnt make much sense. Anyway despite funky camera angles, I fucking ultra marked for VFM. Sure he didnt wear a suit but Versus can pretty much punch a nun in the mouth and get away with it. If SVR2009 gave us anything it gave us the V Entrance taunt. New tune is definatly fitting. RP Wise as usual smoking hot fire, I too laughed at the midgets. I had a mental picture in my head as I was making the show and I could not stop laughing. Pretty much Hutch laid it all out, "I can do nothing and still be better than the entire roster for the year. I loled hopefully VFM will be mistaken.

 

Seth ahh seth. Short and to the point, everyone has dreams of making it big, getting the gold, taking the journey. Seth doesn't give a fuck. Seth is about the dollar dollar, fuck you pay me. I want to see how this develops.

 

IGEN- Normally these guys are all over the place but every now and again they will whip up a funny rp. Today was one of the funny ones, Valmonts missing, IGEN has gone on a bender and DEano is rip roaring to go. I dug it short and to the point.

 

Bloodline- So many 1 liners I really cant go into it. So I will end with well fucking played.

 

Smythe- Sigh, only Smythe would come out to such horrid HORRID, music to elicit such a response. Smythe comes at you with all angles, he talks shit, he backs it up "Sometimes when he isnt being embaressed, kissed, jobbing out to douches in dreses" And to cap it off his new intro talks as if he is the Captain of the OCW Ship. All I have to say is bust out 1 RP with "This is your captain speaking" for an easy Sensational Achievement markout.

 

I wont speak on the rest of the RP other than it made me a sad panda bear, Does no one SELL IN OCW, DOES NO ONE!!!!. I got to say the irony in the entrance was amazing.

 

There was no enterance for the International Match, this made me sad and filled with rage. I have been assured this will never happen again which is good.

 

The matches where all fantastic, they where quick, not boring, and thankfully to the point. I dont know if its the new engine or what but if matches keep up with this pace I will be a happy camper.

 

All in all a great start to the new year. Gonna be fun come the clash allot of oh shit matches since there is no time.
