But fret not young ones, Casey is here ! And i shall now begin to break down some very simple and important FACTS. You people are BYTCHING about the poll and the choices that were made for Leons match. Well, ive taken it upon myself to break down the poll and those that were voted for. Lets see: Deano Horse: 7 votes. But guess what ? LEON HAS ALREADY DEFEATED HIM ! Adrian Bold: 1 vote. BUT, Bold is inactive ATM. So why would he be in the match to begin with ?!? CJ Hoppus: 1 vote. (Go little brother !) BUT, just like Bold, is inactive. So again, why would he be in the match ?!? Kang James: 4 votes. BUT, just like dear Mr. Horse, guess what ? LEON HAS BEATEN HIM ! Wesley Adams Poe: 5 votes. And can you guess it ?!? THATS RIGHT ! Leon has beaten him ! Smythe Dawonder: 4 votes. Once again, DEFEATED ! Aries: 5 votes. What is this ?!? Someone Leon hasnt defeated yet ?!? I call shenanigans ! But none the less, here is the first 'Real' consideration to have been in the match. Trips: 5 votes. But just like the many brave souls that came before him, DEFEATED ! Mayhem: 1 vote. BUT, if im not mistaken (And i could be, and if i am, i apologise.) hasnt Mayhem just returned ? So why should Mayhem be placed into a match with a Title on the line ? Isnt that what all the BYTCHING is about in the first place ?!? People 'Not deserving' Title matches but yet being placed in them anyways ?!? Vincent Valmont: 6 votes. Not to sound like a broken record or anything, but yup, you guessed it ! DEFEATED ! K. If you would have been in the match, and if by some miracle of god would have won,... well lets just say that i can only imagine the RP you would have done that would have taken me hours to decode and put together like some god damn jigsaw puzzle ! Not even back yet and received more votes than some ! LOL YOU GO DISCO ! Eddie Mace: 1 vote. ... weeps.... weeps... weeps.... DEFEATED ! Now that ive broken all of that down for you, lets take a look at a couple of things. All of you are complaining about the poll being a 'Joke' ? Well,... it was. Look at the people who made the list. Leon has already defeated almost EVERY single person voted for. The only ones that should have been in the match (Going by undefeated.) should have been Bold, Aries, Mayhem, K. D' Angelo, Frank Smith, Jacob Trance, Justin Rox, Vindicator, The Steve, and Karim. However, Bold, Steve, and Karim arent even active. So that leaves Aries, Mayhem, KD, Smith, Trance, Rox, and Vindicator. Now lets see: Mayhem, Smith, and Vindicator have just returned. So why do they deserve a shot at a Title ? They dont ! (According to you guys anyways.) So now we have: Aries, KD, Trance, and Rox. KD and Rox are rookies. Maybe not KD so much, but seriously, what the fuck has he done since hes been here to warrent a Title match ? I know from reading through the site he doesnt get booked much, so if he doesnt get booked, its FACT hes not getting any wins, let alone matches. When was the last match he had and did he win ? Same for Rox ? Has he even won a match yet ? Why do these 2 deserve to be in a Title match ? So that leaves only Aries and (I hate myself for even saying this.) Trance, being the only 2 deserving to be in the match. But Trance is already the Ex. Division Champion, so why add him into the equation ? Which leaves us with only Aries being the last 'Deserving' person that should have been in the match. Which would have left us with 3 spots open. Now, take a look at the 3 people who I voted for ! It doesnt look so 'Funny' now, does it ?!? I voted for 3 people that Leon HAS NEVER defeated. And i voted for 3 people that sure as hell could have gave Leon a run for his money ! (No offense, Leon ! LOL) But no ! All of you made my vote out to be a 'Joke'. But really, whos the bigger 'Joke' here ? All of you 'Big bad boys' have already FAILED at defeating Leon at 1 point or another. What would have made this match any different ? Maybe, JUST MAYBE, if you 'Boys', (As Kip Conrad put it.) Didnt suck balls, i wouldnt have to vote to send in 3 women to do the job that SO MANY men have failed to do time after time again ! (And what ?!? Us chicks cant have 'Pride' ?!? (Pun intended.) As for the way I say things I'm the first to admit that I say things far too strongly at one time. That's because when I do or say something I do it with the full conviction and sometimes I'll do it aggressively and sometimes too strongly but I do it because I care. If I see something I don't agree with I want answers. Will they always suit me? No of course not. But as Regan said not enough people stand up, if I disagree then I will. One of the things I am very guilty of is picking a fight with the wrong person. In this case Sensation. You weren't at fault in this matter and I appologise for how I spoke to you. But whenever you say I'm crying or am I cry baby then it really does set me off. Especially when I'm genuinely trying to offer my opinion on matters. That being said what I said about Blade getting where he is because he has the right friends, while it still remains my overall opinion, is not why he was in this battle royal. What I will say about the battle royal is that it was poorly thought out and the reason it ended up being four europeans for timing issues was a problem. But the problem with it wasn't the one I had originally identified and I was wrong. Leon should never have fought for the title at Chill Factor cause Nate already beat him... exactly.. you lose... think before you type next time... this is the pride title were speaking of... so people like Myself, Nate, or Fausto going for it would make little to no sense because we've been fighting over the top title for how long... the Pride title is the low card title... and even on Parker Stevens now... it defeats the purpose of what it's meant for... it's something that new and up and comers fight for... I would like to have seen wrestlers of lesser standing have a shot at the title which is why I suggested a Justin Rox or a Frank Smith... Firstly, I see Trips point on me being in a title match, i have 1 win since coming back and i was banished from riot. So his point on my involvment in the match was valid. However it was leons choice, I was picked and i saw no harm in having one shot at the pride championship. As for your comments on me feuding with VFM, those i take exceptions to. If I can't feud with someone i have a history and chemestry with, then what the hell am I doing here. The ranking argument only can really be applied to the title chase, I'm not earning a #1 contendership in this feud this is all about entertaining and exploring an angle that both myself and Vs have wanted to do. That is the only pre-requisite for a feud, the willing and chemestry to work with each other well, nothing more or less. On a personal note, my aims since my return in november last year have always been to stay, to lose the here today gone the next stigma after my past couple attempts, and to finnaly have that killer feud with VFM that would of needed to happen since his turn, my long term aim yes is to be good enough in skill and rep to challenge for WHC, but thats pretty much a standard aim for all of us. If i never become WHC then so be it...as long as i prove myself to everyone that im not a joke, that i can earn my way and that i can entertain, I will always be happy and proud of my OCW carrer. Thats all I'm going to say. I'm going to read Riot and post my thaughts.... SARCASM ! I was merely trying to use and show the 'LOGIC' that MOST, not all, but MOST, people use in OCW these days. You guys had the chance to make an awesome match for the Pride Title, and what did some of you do ? You voted for guys that arent even active in OCW at the moment. I mean fuck, Karim even got a vote, and technically, hes not even fucking APART of OCW right now ! Hes still labeled as a 'Fanboy' account. Thats like saying Kyle West deserves a Title shot. So therefore, those votes were more or less wasted ! (Which was actually part of the reason i voted for myself, Sara, and Gertrude. I was kind of hoping that people would see the POINT there. BUT NO ! Noone even noticed or thought to put 2 and 2 together and maybe think 'Hey, those 3 arent even active.' No, instead of realizing the obvious, people only laughed and continued on their way.) And out of curiousity, just WHY would people vote for people that are inactive ? Or people who arent even apart of OCW ? Did the people who voted for these people not know they were inactive ? Did they think they were still apart of OCW and competing ? Do people not watch the shows/ read the forums to even fucking know whos here and who isnt right now ? Yes Smythe, i am fully aware of what the Pride Title is. But i have to somewhat disagree with you on what you say the Titles 'For'. While it may be a 'Lower' Title, shots at it shouldnt just be 'Handed out' IMO. A Title is a Title the way i see it. You EARN a shot at it. I do agree with you on the 'Lower card' guys going for it. That was my point that i was TRYING to make by people still casting votes for people like you, Guy, Nate, Parker, etc., etc.. Again, those were wasted votes IMO. Why vote for people to take place in a match for a 'Lower' Title, when said people are already in the Main Event picture ? It just doesnt make any sense. I agree with you that someone like Frank Smith should have been in the match. The point i was TRYING to make with guys like Frank, Mayhem (Even though technically Mayhem would be more in the ME bracket IMO.) and Vindicator was that if they would have been in the match, im QUITE sure that there would have been some people bitching about that as well because theyve just 'Returned' to OCW. ALOT of people, including you Smythe, have bitched about people going away, only to return to a Title match. Do i agree with this ? To an extent, yes i do. But in Franks case, hes came back and EARNED a shot IMO. I think hes only had 1 lose since hes been back ? (I may be wrong ?) Mayhem ? IMO Mayhem could have been in the match. Has he 'Earned' it ? Maybe not since his 'Return', but look at his past. If Mayhem HAD been apart of the match and won, then that would have carried over into his and Seths feud (Which IMO wouldnt be what the Title is intended for, as Seth and Mayhem are both ME, but it is what it is.) where the winner of their feud could/ would have gave the Title some prestige, instead of just having some random rook win the Title only to lose it on his first defense, and so on and so on. (And no Parker, im not calling you some 'Random rook' for winning the Title. Im speaking in the 'What if' now. lol) Same can be said for Blade. Has he 'Earned' a shot at a Title since his 'Return' ? No, not really. But again, look at Blades past. And if Blade would have won, then the Pride Title would have carried over into his and Versus feud. (Which would have been like the outcome to the Seth/ Mayhem feud. Not what the Title is meant for, with Versus being ME, but again, it is what it is.) Sometimes you just have to make exceptions for things. And then theres people like K. D' Angelo and Justin Rox. People on the tier that the Title is intended for. Do they bust their ass and show that they are willing to put in the work and effort ? Sure they do. But does that just automatically mean that they deserve a shot at ANY Title ? Hell no ! I stand by what i said about KD. Im not knocking the guy, or trying to shit on anything that hes doing. BUT, he needs to work on his communication skills. He can put in ALL of the work that he wants. He can RP and promo his ass off, BUT, when id rather read something that my 5 year old niece has wrote than to try and read one of his RPs, thats pretty fucking bad. When you write an RP or a promo, that RP or promo IS your character. And im sorry, and im not trying to be rude or mean, but KDs RPs and promos make his CHARACTER seem like a fucking illiterate dumbass. They make absolutely no sense. You literally have to try and THINK about, and piece together, what the fuck hes trying to get across. Fuck, even Kavito, someone who doesnt even speak english (Or much anyways.) uses better grammar than KD. And i mean seriously, is that ANYONE that we would want representing ANY Title in OCW ? No. Or at least I wouldnt. But hey, at least hes 'Trying' right ? So lets just give him a Title shot ! You know, since this IS OCW. The home of of the 'Elite.... and Illiterate'. Right ? Same can be said for Justin Rox. (To an extent.) Does he bust his ass and put in his work for the shows ? Sure he does. Does this give him a free pass to a Title ? Nope. Not IMO anyways. Like i asked in my first post, has he even won a match yet ? I may be wrong, but i dont think he has. (And if he has, i apologise.) But damn, let him get at least 1 or 2 wins under his belt before going for any Titles. If not, whats going to happen IF he were to win a Title ? More than likely (Not necessarily, but more than likely.) hed just job it out in his first defense. And im sorry, but thats not how you build 'Prestige' to a Title.
