Nathan Gaines Posted March 1, 2010 Posted March 1, 2010 I really dug this PPV. Some great matches as well as Role Plays. As far as being captivated by not only the RPs but the matches, this was one of my favorite PPVs in subsequent memory. I enjoyed the Mayhem build throughout the night. I'm buying the monster as a credible champion and what I find amazing is this will be the first Lution that he headlines. Valmont is also doing a nice job of showing how determined he is to get what he wants. Could be odd doing a heel v heel match at Lution but we'll see how it works Leon and his twist of a partner was awesome. I saw it coming last night because his partner didn't do a great job of sugarcoating his turn, but than the spin that Fausto put on it all was awesome. The RP between Fausto and Smythe leading up to this was very well done. Where is Ryder with a long RP? I so wanted Ryder to have a successful title run. So talented in the ring but really dropped the ball with his title run. Trips vs Valmont. I liked it because these two have such a great rivalry, but I didn't buy Valmont KO'ing Trevor and having it be stoped. Trips is a high main eventer I just can't seem him being subjected to that. That's my one fault with Valmont's build up to what transpired EX match- The Rush was awesome to watch it ending up playing well that it broke down to Gaines v Hazard and Hostile(Fit with the Riot beat down). Glad I got the win but aside from that the match and concept itself when done sporadically is awesome. As for my match with Trance. Kudos to Trance for organizing everything and giving me the battle of my life. As I told Trance the match felt "real" just watching it. Even in the beginning, than the Face gets the momentum going looks like he's gonna put it away and out of no where the Heel gets a few moves in and bam it's over. Regardless extremely fun steppin into the ring with Trance. He's a hell of a champion. LocoNY911: I hate you with every fiber of my being just looking at your name makes me want to strike my monitor
Mayhem Posted March 1, 2010 Posted March 1, 2010 well I had a lot to say about the PPV but the rest of my review wound up getting erased thats all you guys get from me so time to contribute some input I want to add this and this is going to be my final comment about the show For those who where in matches and didnt RP, thats fucking lousy. You have the oppertunity to capitalize on situations left wide open and didnt go grab it. The Ex Rush is a prime example because there is so much talent that got wasted and tossed out of the window. Baxter and Hostile especially. Ryder was my biggest disapointment on the lack of RP this PPV, RL or Not i saw you on XBL, you had the time. Trevors short RP is something anyone could have done but didnt. that probably took less than 5 minutes that any of us have and that some of you probably used to look at porn or to dig out a buger and look at it. Apparently as long as Ryder got a free ride to the top of OCW he was all for participating. But when it got tough he showed his true colours. So much for the new school coming to take the reigns around here. Anyway this PPV was awesome in setting up for Lution. Almost all the titles have an active feud ready to go for the big show... (except for mine sadly, nowone wants to Job to the epic at Lution.... I'm taking resumes for feuds BTW!!!) Mayhem did an awesome job the past few weeks... good thing dude won the title... Iceberg is on a roll as well... perhaps the best champion in OCW at the moment... congrats to him... i enjoyed all of this PPV... OCW is coming back!!!
