Poe vs Gaines was a hell of a match..long but good..i marked for the double ref face plant :p

 

KD proved why he won't get a rematch for the TV title...he failed to beat the number 1 contender..I respect that KD has something to aim for,call me out in rp's all you want..it's the in ring results that matter :)

 

I love the Future Investment storyline...it's very well done..so please take this as constructive critisicm..but the beatdown/attack video was stupidly long..it'd could have been cut by atleast half...the segment between Aries and the masked man was more like a full length match than Aries attacking him for stealing the case, who ever edited it should have cut all the arm whips,leg snaps,standing around waiting for chops etc...as it ended up looking more like a full length match than a back and forth fight video,same with the Valmont part..Aries is supposed to be pissed at the masked man, yet he casually walks down to the ring....if you want your shit back that he stole, you'd run your ass down there!!!

 

Like I said, I dont want you to take those comments as negative, like most people round here usually do..it's just tips for your videos as most people have a short attention span, and on 10 minute beatdown videos people tend to lose interest.

 

And i'm calling the masked man as LEON!!!! He's got his build,jacket,pants, clothesline, elbows,spin kicks and other moves!!!! I'm probably totally wrong but that's the name I'm throwing in there..I mentioned it to him when the masked man first appeared and he denied it...i'm onto your game!!! :p

Riot had some good things going for it. I was expecting a bit more heading into the anniversary show, but oh well. It's not a review, but I like to say that Trance, and Gaines got something good going for them as a team. I'm still skeptical of this because eventually one might turn on the other, but I would think this won't be the case. Keep it up because it's good to see the midcard pumping up again, and the beatdown was good. Also the commentary with Fausto is awesome. It's really the glue that keeps this show interesting between everything else.

 

Also I didn't see much from Poe, except his match. So far him, and jones been putting on some good stuff over the weeks. This is something else I'm interesting in continuing, and seeing what's next at the anniversary show. This feud got potential, and it's creative. It has someone who's gone through personality changes, and is a former champion. Along with someone who's rising fast in OCW, and needs to keep it up.

 

K.D, Jook, and Smythe didn't have much of a impact this week on riot heading into the anniversary show, but still the ocw championship match should be ok. With mentioning the ocw title match i didn't see much of mayhem neither, but i'm sure something of a impact will happen at the ocw title match.

 

Riot has been ok for last few weeks, and before that Riot was hitting all cylinders, but now I hope with this anniversary show Riot will start picking up again, and we really see some big feuds, storylines, and matches happening.

 

As for rumors about this masked man will be revealed at the anniversary show I can guarantee this. Also I'm walking out the anniversary show the f.i holder.

HERES MY QUICK REVIEW

 

First off, I see Fausto hasnt missed a beat with his dry sense of humor. Next was the Dorian piece. It made me laugh. Mainly because he sat one row back from the front row, and that was supposed to signify he was "there for the people." Unless im missing the gimmick, you shoulda probably been sitting in the nose bleed to get your point across.

 

First match was KD and DJack. DJack as much as i like you kid, you need to get someone else to dress you. Unless you made your CAW real fast and mad ethe game pick a default outfit, it looks ridiculous. Until you change that ,youre destined to be a curtain jerker. Im actually digging KDs gimmick. Got the darkside music, with the dark skin, and dark entrance. Like it. Not goth, but definately different. Match went pretty good, besides some weird akward pauses. I think its pretty cool DJack hit two finishers back to back. (again this is my real first show with the new game, so i have no clue if this is easier to pull off.

 

Next was a RP by Trance, Gaines, and Hostile. No surprise here, Trance and Gaines write some good lines, and seem to be reppin the tag team belts well. No clue why Hazard would try to sneak in with Hostiles music (seeing he is deaf anyways and prolly wouldnt notice that someone elses music is playing), and think he would have a chance to beat them down, especially without a weapon. I woulda liked to see someone else come out, or maybe let him get the better of one of the guys before you beat the shit out of him. Thats just me though.

 

Page 2 - great Roleplay by "the Dawkness's" This is actually a really good faction, and i like how they play on the "black" theme. I am digging Smythes heel persona, and ability to aggrevate the crowd. Makes me look forward to Mayhem Vs Smythe for the belt, a little bit more.

 

Really dug the Poe, vs Xpac... er... i mean Gaines, match. Both guys seem to do well with reversals, and i love the "suck it" setup before the two finishers. Good match.

 

Like i said before, really digging the darkness theme. You guys use the race card quite a bit, and make great heels. I think this is one of my favorite factions since ToP. Good writing, paired with a good gimmick = great faction. So only thing i am confused about, Gaines are you in two seperate feuds? One with the tag belts, and one with Jookie?

 

The last page was really entertaining. I can tell you that the feud between Trevor/Aries/ VV/ and whoever the masked man is, is extremely dramatic. Which makes you wanna know who this masked man is, even more. Whoever put the video together, did a good job, at capturing the entire brawl/confrontation..

 

Im extremely impressed with the new breed, and the direction OCW is going. I couldnt follow some of the storylines, mainly becuase im just starting in the middle of some feuds. But good show guys
