Marked big time for the ending of the Darkside-Beyond metal match, nice to see KD hit his sig then tag Jookie in for the finisher..actual teamwork from a tag team...nice to see.

 

Dane vs Trance was probably match of the night for me..loved the music all the way through..proper chilled out listening.

D.Jones vs Gaines was also a good match..I was out of my seat at the end...so close..so dam close.

 

I hate pirates, claw hands and the Riot GM :(

 

Aries could be the most skiled LHVY ever seen in OCW.

Not a huge fan of Arnaud's moveset..not really sure what type of wrestler you are going for.

Masked Man had long hair..now he's bald..or was it a wig? Hmmm....

Nice ending to the Match..interested to see where it goes next.

 

The ME was good to watch,flowed pretty well...hated how Smythe hit his finisher so early..didnt really see a point to that....was sad to see Mayhem cheese the windmill quick grapple for basically the last 10 minutes of the match, it's not against FPR, but it's cheesey as fuck..you don't do that in Dm's, and I know the title was on the line, but your better than that chief :(

Thought the show was pretty solid...

 

The Mayhem-Smythe fued was good for what it was but I"m hoping both men move on from here. I think Mayhem is a great dominate champion, and right now the only person I see that might give him a run for his money would possibly be Aries. As for Smythe I don't know what he does from here. I'm eager to see. He's definitely a Main Event top guy but I don't know who he could work with now as his title shot has gone(don't mean that in a bad way I just mean this fued is over and maybe in a bit again he goes after the title). Either way both men gave a strong fued and the effort was appreciated

 

I thought Baxter winning was a nice moment, but I have to be honest for some reason I didn't get that underdog face feeling when he did win. I don't know if it's because I like Parker so much or what but that's the impression I got. I'm sure Baxter will do a great job though as Television Champion.

 

I didn't like the attack of the GM with Parker and Hennig. The Riot GM reminds me of Kage for some reason in terms of looks which I like, and I know he's a badass but attacking an OCW superstar just is odd in my opinion

 

The Perfect Circle match...just wow. Aries is a badass. Valmont's character and the whole FI thing seems to have fallen by the wayside and I was disappointed with what he submitted(nothing). I dug Richard Clarke sending out his three henchmen and I'm eager to see who these three men are. My guess is the bigger one who Jackhammered Aries through the table is Charles Morgan. Just a feeling....

 

Xavier looks like a bastard child of Double A. His match with Trance was pretty solid, but the ref looked like he was definitely paid off by Xavier as he got in Trance's way a few times. Either way nice win for Xavier.

The tag match to open the show was yikes (in terms of it becoming a handicapped match as I think this could have helped propel a tag division). Mania flaking is a joke. I like Mania and what he used to be was awesome, but now he's just a punchline. He ruined any legacy he had. As for Rox coming out with red skin and horns, it looked like we signed some noob to wrestle on the PPV. The Darkside getting the win was expected, and as Park said the shooting star leg drop by Jook was nice and I was happy to see KD and Jook set that up well. I hope that helps them maybe kick start a tag fued/division, because KD and Jook have definitely done a great job at pushing themselves as a legit team (if there's anyone to fued with)

 

As for my match. Finding people and getting everyone coordinated for a time was damn near impossible. It sucked that we couldn't give a true Rage in the Cage EX match. I know I have dropped the ball somewhat in this title reign and part of it is my fault part is circumstance, but I will give 125% effort from where on out. As far as D. Jones this kid is the future. He's a hell of a person and a good wrestler. Unfortunately, the match itself sucked because of the connection. We had so many "attempting to reconnect" messages and pauses that a 13-15 minute match took 25-30 minutes to actually wrestle. I did my best to edit it down and try to make it flow, but it still wasn't to pleasing. I thought at the end it was a pretty decent finish as we both raced up the cage, seeing who would get out first. The potential of the match could have been a 10 but the overall result was probably truthfully a 5.5 at best. But I tell you all keep an eye on D. Jones probably the next EX Division Champion

I liked the show.... the whole thing flowed well.... I marked hard for Baxter... he's gonna be a great champion...

 

Aries I think is easily the best SVR player we have...

 

I'm excited to see Dane moving up the OCW ladder... he puts in the most work as of late... along with Bax and D-Jack...

 

KD and Jook look like the best tag team in OCW... I love it... very heelish with the handicap match... good way to end SVR 10 boys...

Parker needs to get with that NA title so he can drop it and step in the ME where he belongs...

The ME match was really good... me and Mayhem added commentary while playing it... which we could have recorded that... Park, Mayhem backed up after the windmill grapples... was balls for momentum but it's a part of the game... and I hit my finisher early so if it came to it I could win with whatever I wanted... I tried with the Powerbomb... he kicked out... Turning point was when I went for my second finisher and Mayhem reversed it... ending was markable as well... overall a fun match to play... and a very TV style feud... Mayhem carried most of it... kudos to him...

I suppose it's all a sense of perspective, but I'd like to think I throw my own twists on it, filled with irony and entertainment. Plus, I don't think I've ever seen a gimmick that was based on self-promotion and media-based entertainment. The idea kinda fell into my lap and developed very organically.

 

Unfortunately, I have yet to watch this past week's Riot and Devil's Night, my schedule has been a bit hectic as of late. But I will get caught up and post a review on both... maybe not both, but Devil's Night for sure.
