Wrestler “Mad Dawg” Davis in Hospital By: Kayla Long / Published: September 14, 2024 New York, New York- OCW wrestler “Mad Dawg” Davis was reportedly rushed to the hospital after the Riot show on September 13th. It’s been recorded that due to the brutal match between Nate “Iceman” Mac, and the attack from Samsin Simson after the match, Davis has been left with severe blood loss, multiple injuries to the body, and possible nerve damage. Due to these events doctors have suggested that Davis receive treatment and recover for the meantime. He is expected to make a full recovery but with time. Marisa Welch was seen at the hospital and was asked about any comments or updates on Davis’s condition. Marisa stated “Respect our space and privacy please!”

We find Mad Dawg sitting on the balcony of his rented apartment in New York around the time of sunset. Mad Dawg has low sounding R&B playing from his portable speakers as he is sitting scrolling through his phone looking over plans Bash has sent over. As he is starting to finish up a name pops up on the phone. Dr. Williams, one of the doctors from the rehabilitation center. He hesitates but still answers. Mad Dawg: Hello? Dr. Williams: Good evening, I’m Dr. Williams from… Mad Dawg cuts him off with excitement hoping that bringing joy to the conversation might end it faster Mad Dawg: YOOO! Doc! I figured that was you. Got a new phone and guess it didn't save your number. You sound different on the phone. How you been my guy? Dr. Williams : I've been good Mr. Davis. The question is, how are you holding up? I know you're back working full time in the OCW and just wanted to see how everything is? There is a slight pause in the conversation now. Part of Mad Dawg wants to tell the truth about everything but pride and ego are still Mad Dawg’s strength and weakness. Mad Dawg: Everything is straight over here, I’m happy to be back. Feels good. Dr. Williams: That's good to hear. You made so much improvement so fast during your time here at the rehabilitation center. I wouldn't want you to lose any of the progress you've made. I know your chosen career can come with a lot of stress both physically and mentally. Mad Dawg: Yea, I appreciate the call Doc. Like I told you and my family before I left. I’m not putting myself in that kind of situation anymore. I’m lucky I walked away from that car wreck whole. Dr. Williams: Well that’s great to hear, but it's not just the car wreck we were worried about, remember? It was the events that lead up to the car wreck. Your blood alcohol level was so high I was shocked you didn't have life long issues or even die from that alone…I Mad Dawg: I get it… A rough conversation for both Mad Dawg and the doctor seems to get rougher, bringing up how lucky Mad Dawg really is. Mad Dawg:...I understand Doc, and I appreciate your call. Look I’m kind of busy right now but I can call you back sometime later tomorrow. Dr. Williams: I understand. Look, Micheal, before this conversation ends. I do want you to know that you can talk to me, just like you did when you were enrolled here. I’m available anytime you need, ok? Mad Dawg: Yeah I got you, thanks. I’ll make sure to lock you in on this new phone I got. The doctor gives a slight laugh knowing that Mad Dawg is lying about his number not being saved. Dr. Williams: Good, now use it too. I’ll talk to you later Mr. Davis. Mad Dawg: It's MD, just keep calling me that. Get rid of all that professional shit, please. Dr. Williams: Ok, MD. Mad Dawg hangs up and puts the corner of his phone to his head thinking about the last few minutes that seem to last for hours. As the sunset starts to fade behind the New York City skyline Mad Dawg wonders where he is in this whole alcohol recovery journey. Who are the people around him who truly care for his well being? Is the doctor worth letting down his personal guard for?

Rumors, True! Dawg is out! By: Kayla Long / Published: April 16, 2024 Dallas, Texas- Weeks ago on Monday evening, March 25, 2024, an anonymous person was brought to a local alcohol addiction rehabilitation center by local family members. This person was rumored to be OCW rookie wrestler Mad Dawg Davis. It has now been confirmed that the Micheal Dashawn Davis involved in the car crash on March 20th is indeed Mad Dawg Davis. Reporters were not able to get much out of Davis as he was seen exiting the building. These were the only words stated by Davis. “Your mom’s favorite Dawg is back and she can pet this dog as long as she wants!” We don't know what all happened to Davis while at the rehabilitation center but we hope the best for this local star. OCW will be back on air April 19th, this Friday night. Check your local listings for times.

Did a Dawg Find a Home at Local AA Rehabilitation Center? By: Kayla Long / Published: March 27, 2024 Dallas, Texas- Monday evening, March 25, 2024, an anonymous person was brought to a local alcohol addiction rehabilitation center by local family members. After leaving jail from a serious car wreck involving alcohol on March 20th, the driver was charged with a DWI and family immediately took him to the center once released. This is not out of the norm for staff at the center. But rumors are starting to float around that the anonymous person is “Mad Dawg” Davis, a OCW rookie wrestler a part of the faction DNS that we have seen in the news recently having issues with alcohol. Reason some are skeptical about this rumor is because police reports from the car wreck show the driver’s full name as Micheal Dashawn Davis, nicknamed “MD” by family, Whereas the OCW wrestler’s name has been stated to be Coco Davis. From rumors, this person nicknamed MD does seem to match the description of the OCW wrestler. We will keep you informed if this rumor has any truth behind it.

Interviewer: Welcome to WXTS Channel 9, we have here an upcoming wrestler from our local area of Dallas, TX who is on the verge of entering the OCW. How are you? Mad Dawg Davis: I’m good, excited to be here. Thank you all for inviting me. Interviewer: So tell us about yourself and what is a Mad Dawg? Mad Dawg Davis: Not what, but WHO. Mad Dawg is an analogy for the fighter in me. I haven’t always been this big or athletic. Matter of fact, early years of my life were actually spent running away from bigger guys who saw me as a punching bag. Wasn't until high school I started to protect myself and people said I would fight like a “mad dog” not caring about anything but hurting my opponent. Interviewer: Wow, and these fights in your life are what turned you towards professional wrestling? Mad Dawg Davis: Yes and no. No, because this wasn't a goal of mine. I never as a kid said I want to be a wrestler growing up, maybe football player or firefighter. Yes, because of the way I grew up, fighting became an outlet, a way to express who I am without words, but actions. I started seeking out local matches just for the fun of it, and I became addicted. Soon getting asked to make appearances across the country. Interviewer: Very interesting, as now you are a somewhat local sensation in the sport. Last question as I know you're very busy nowadays. You said earlier you would fight without caring about anything but hurting your opponent, is this still true? Mad Dawg Davis gives a slight laugh as he was both humored and embarrassed. Mad Dawg Davis: Well I no longer feel like I’m fighting for my life, so my immediate response is no. Though, I do feel as if I’m fighting for respect, and that to me is just as important. I’ve been known to hurt myself win or lose, to be the type of person to risk it all for a single offensive attack. That style of fighting will always be me, win or lose, I will earn your respect. Because just like a dog that's pissed the hell off, I’ll fight with every ounce of strength in my veins. And you will respect who Mad Dawg is... Mad Dawg Davis with determination and controlled rage stares at the camera. Mad Dawg Davis: I am Madness UNLEASHED Interviewer: Ummmm, Thanks a lot…and we look forward to what you will bring to the OCW.
