  1. That poster is awesome.
  2. No. He's usually spending his time telling you that he can sit in one spot, wait for the ball amidst the defense, and score 3's all day. At least from my party experience with him.
  3. I think he's talking about an NCAA style bracket contest.
  4. I logged in just to mark out for this. Don't you ever change. Also, Theo, what the hell is a scup? I mean, using my wonderful context clues I assume it's a title or award abbreviation but uh, scup just sounds retarded.
  5. I get a bye week?! You back in der OCW ----> <3!
  6. 3 Riots, no match. You're dead to me OCW! But only 'cause I seem to be dead to you :(
  7. Sorry, I somehow missed that post
  8. Are we saying that people are putting catch finishers on without that being their normal finisher as well? That's screwy. I didn't even realize 2K made that possible, cause it used to not be. I usually end up hitting the catch by accident as I'm so used to tapping all of the buttons to try and get to my feet. But lets not forget, the real solution here is to not play like a dumbass. If you're fighting someone with a catch finisher, and you try to jump on them while they have a finisher, isn't that your fault?
  9. My apologies OCW, I seem to have utterly scrambled Leon's brain.
  10. "Here lies Paul Pugh, he died giving all the fucks." Take that however you will.
  11. I don't watch Turmoil at all really, OCW's kind of OD'ing on content right now and I just don't have the attention span. Nothing personal, I just didn't have opinions on the Turmoil matches minus thinking it was funny that I didn't know the teams involved in the opener and that the ultimate good guy Theo will not allow himself to win that match.
  12. Watching a Matsuda match is fun. Playing against Matsuda makes you want to tear your hair out, but if you do that, you only have one hand on the controller (at the most) and he's certainly going to beat your ass then if he wasn't already. I know last month we had a thread up about Lution predictions. Maybe that's just cause it was Lution, maybe that's a new trend and I just missed the official thread because I'm not usually signed in when I get on the site these days and I miss things in the permission masked sections, but I'm going to do mine here because I'm bored and can't sleep. MAIN EVENT OCW HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP Mugen vs Pugh - I think Mugen can take the title, but ultimately I think Pugh cares more. I think Mugen is more focused on being a character right now. Though I imagine with as long as he's been here he'd like to have at least one world title to add to the resume. I think this should be a good match, but I think Pugh will just edge it out because I think he'll be just a little more focused. Bobby vs Versus II - Ok, I lied, there's a third match I can't call. Mainly because I've been a TERRIBLE OCW'er since Lution and I haven't really watched shit. So I don't think I've even seen Bobby fight since he's come back, and I have all the faith in the world that Versus is head and shoulders better than he was when he first came back. So I can't call this simply because I'm ignorant as fuck. A-Team vs Savage U - This is the second of my unpickables. It's almost like a mirror match to me, you have easily the most dominant team in OCW history on one side and on the other side two guys who each held the world title in the past few months and have plenty of experience teaming together. I think this may come down to which team gets fucked by targeting worse! NORTH AMERICAN CHAMPIONSHIP Nathan Carter vs Drago - I know that Nathan was getting better and better when we were dming a good bit a few months ago, but not having been around very much the last month or so, I have my doubts that he's leaped quite this far. I think this should be an interesting match up, but I think Drago's got this. Monster vs Leonheart - The way people talk, I'm thinking the greatest heel move I could pull off would be to intentionally lose this match and bring back Cody Storm. There's actually a ton on the line for me in this series of matches, my entire character is up for grabs, which isn't something I thought I'd rest upon my stick skills given I'm on my longest losing streak in my entire efedding career. Matsuda vs Majin II - There are two matches on this card that just make me shrug my shoulders. This is the first. Specially with the style these two employ, the difference between a win or a loss could be one botched diving move. I remember playing Majin the first week or so that he really started playing again and he was already whippin' some ass, so I think it's entirely possible he could win this. On the other hand, Suda just doesn't lose that title. It just doesn't really happen.... TURMOIL CHAMPIONSHIP #1 CONTENDERSHIP Malu vs Seth Irving - Scumbag-Goodguy Theo won't win this, it's not in him to intentionally dominate two shows. He holds people down unintentionally only. Parker vs KWAN WATTS - I'm sorry Kwan, but there's no hope for you. Parker would probably have to stroke out while playing this to lose. Or you'd have to have an answered prayer the night before based around absolutely mastering the kickout meter for one match (though Parker would eventually get annoyed and tap you out I imagine). AC Cobra vs Xander Rane - Xander's not going to be thwarted by easily figured out game mechanics I don't think, and that's how I've seen Cobra pick up his biggest wins so I think Xander will probably take this. Plus, if Xander, who beat me, loses to Cobra, it's kind of like I lost to Cobra and I'll be damned if I'm going to have that happen! #Influence vs 5% Nation - I had to ask Leon when we were doing our matches who these teams were. Should have known by the hashtag that this was he and Lee. Still don't know who 5% Nation is because we got sidetracked actually doing our SL content, so I'll pick the only team I actually know.
  13. I can't tell if I'm being given the opportunity for revenge, or another opportunity to let 2K make a fool of me.....
  14. I haven't gotten through much of the show yet, so I can't say a whole lot. But, and no offense, fuck the rest of the show: Welcome back Gibbs!
  15. Yeah, no he did do it in a disrespectful way, so I can see your point on that Bobby. And the Cody stock has definitely fallen, I'd like to think I'm still top ten or so, but I don't think there's a ton of disparity between most of us anymore. My game took a huge hit when reversals became limited :/. I also totally understand the point they're making. It sucks to feel like you're better at the game than someone, but they're in a better spot than you (and of course most of you know that I lean fairly heavily to the competition side of OCW). But at the same time, I don't think this necessarily applies to the two vets getting the title matches at this Lution. Nate has been around for years now in one form or another and is definitely World title material still. And the Ex title has basically been dormant itself, so I don't think there's a huge problem with Majin getting the shot. Plus Matsuda has a crush on Majin and he's probably held the title long enough to get to choose this match for himself. Has almost nothing to do with the belt and everything to do with Majin.
  16. I don't that you can make a fair assessment really given you haven't been active for very long. On top of that, I'd think someone who is always in try hard mode, such as myself as you say, would then know whether these guys can match up in the ring, because I've DM'ed with both Xander and Nathan plenty of times.
  17. Bobby, I think you have them confused with yourself as a rookie.... Or maybe 2k16 confused with 2k13/14 cause just about no one is that bad or that good at this game. Xander just beat me this week. Nathan can go toe to toe with all of us. I get that what he said was a little disrespectful, but you're still wrong.
  18. Which title shot are you referring to? Cause the World is being defended against Nate, who in kayfabe hasn't earned a title shot obviously, but in reality is the same person as Tobin Frost who just won the world title so think of it kind of as a rematch clause I guess (either way, it's still not the worst title contender we've had thus far considering we've had a champion who didn't win the belt to hold it. Not trying to throw insults Parker, just a fact)...? The only other legend getting a title shot is Majin, and I suppose that argument fits, but it's also a belt held by a guy who currently shows up less than 99.99% of the roster...
  19. Tobin Frost just didn't want the Monster to break his spirit AND take the World title! It's ok, I wouldn't want that either if I wasn't The Monster
  20. .... :(
  21. Don't worry, I fixed that for you.
  22. Maybe I'm doing this Monster gimmick better than I had figured. Hopefully they're all scared of saying something! For real though, it was a good match. It was like someone poured a large McDonald's fry's worth of salt on me when he kicked out of both of my finishers and I flailed like a goldeen on his first attempt :/
  23. Dennis.... does he look like someone that knows how to read?
  24. - I like the entrance being cut off in an effort to do something slightly different for the opening of the RP Nate. The Jets really did have a shitty season. They played the Pats super close in one game (I think they even beat them, but I forget now) and everyone got hyped. Then they proceeded to flail. Do they think that about the Jets? Thought that was the Pats? Letting Nathan's "eccentricities" dictate your actions is the best advantage he could ask for. This was also a nice bit of video editing. I like how you used Smythe's entrance to show him backing up from the rest of the group. - I love it! I can't hear this song and not think of my neice Kenley, was her favorite song for like six months. Something about this woman's face gives me the heebie jeebies. This a hardcore match or did the ref just decide he liked being outside for a change? I like the kickout for that sideslam move, it looks really dramatic. The Jacknife is so mean but so much of a "don't give a fuck" move all at the same time. Not a bad match, decent in ring storytelling with the leg targetting coming from Karina, but we all knew who was going to win this one. - I feel like there was a real rapid detoriation of Pugh's mind here. Seems kind of like he realized 'Lution was 3 weeks away and took too long to actually get into this feud. Just felt unnatural to see this paranoid type diatribe come out after he seemed so much more calm and confident last week with Versus. - You probably can't say sissy anymore, you bigot! - Arnaud's a fucking stalker. There are laws against this sort of thing! - Oh.... yeah two men standing on either side of a table in a wrestling ring, I'm sure this is going to go great! Oh shit he killed him! And he got killed right back. - I don't think I really want to watch this match.... Oh good, I can watch a Wendy's commercial instead! GUYS YOU'VE BOTH FOUND THE SWEET SPOT HOW ARE YOU STILL MISSING IT?! I hate Finn Arnaud so much. Never smart to get out of the ring against an Ex guy, they've all learned Mugen's style. But it cost him the second time. That 10 second stand off though. Oh, Trey has diving moves too, ok, I guess he looks athletic enough to do that. Arnaud hits Tre in the chest with the stairs and his head turns orange... yeah, ok 2K, why not? Damn, not a single kickout in this one, that's kind of amazing. - Holding titles doesn't make you popular Smythe, trust me. Damn, what a shithead. - You really needed to grab a mic and yell that to start the match? xD. The double knee roll through into the dive looked sick. Nathan, how come you ALWAYS reverse when I have you caught by the foot, that's some discriminatory bullshit my friend. Very even match thus far, Tobin just needs to get some of his reversals back. HEY! Eating people's faces off is my thing! SPEAR! Tobin has no hair... are you hanging him by his scalp? By his ears? Either way, that's gotta be incredibly painful. Nathan's actually got a good hold on this match, it'll be interesting to see if Tobin can battle his way back into it. Well, that didn't take long. Pretty much same damage and same exact momentum now. Suplex City! Great finisher reversal. Take him out Nathan! It'll make it easier to break his psyche! Or Nah. Good match guys, that was a really fun one to watch. Specially since the timer at the bottom didn't keep coming up like it tends to do, so I had absolutely no idea when it was going to end. - No normal man in general really wants to approach Tibby at this point. Dude has his own lighter and lacks a cigarette habit, that only means bad things. You're not wrong. I would very much like to be known as a legend killer in OCW. The Wesley Adams Poe reference tho?! - I love how this RP comes right after Tibby's where he says we're the only reason they're relevant. Great timing! Very well done entrance as we've come to expect from Majin. It's Betterness and Buffness you inconsiderate dolt :(. I just imagine "You little twats" being like "Creepy Little Bastard" during that Jericho/Christian feud. The Steve taking his talking points from that Stacy Clark article, I see you Steve. It's ok Versus, I wouldn't really have labeled it a "situation" either. Well, they are right about one thing, it won't be much of a run.... Yeah, fuck that bond RD!!! He really does look like an accountant..... Not too smart for RD to go out there alone. Oh.... O.K. so he hasn't totally lost his mind then. Good for him. So Nate's on our side...? Or nah! Yep, that was way too good to be true. Ouch, dropping the shirt on his unconcious face. That's disrespect. You're not going to want to refer to Tobin as your "protoge" for much longer. I don't think I've ever heard Nate speak so cockily, I mean I still hope he kicks Pugh's ass, but I also can't wait to see him eat a few superkicks along the way. - Uh-oh, Tre better shape up or he's going to get canabilized. - I won't lie, I forgot this open challenge was going to be a thing. Guess we'll see who he's got coming out this week. Everyone's doing these entrance cut off edits, good going people! This motherfucker really just restarted his entrance? Judas' attire just screams early, green, Jack Swagger. Jookie's doing the swagger pushups on the swagger clone xD. Oh damn, Judas got punked in his first open challenge. Now what happens to it? - I didn't think Parker v Smythe actually ended up getting done due to the schedule problems, so I'm happy to see it on the show. Ring around the....ring? Everyone wants their reversals back I guess. I don't think anyone's had the Million Dollar fist drop in their moveset in a long time, kind of cool to see. I do the same kick to the back/kick to the gut combo, but the shotgun taunt was a nice touch. I laugh a little every time I see Smythe his the Flapjack as a finisher. Must kind of be like what people felt when I'd hit the powerslam. Oh lord, here we go with these guys again. Oh, I figured we were gonna see a sneak attack from Kass, but I guess not. Damn, two stunners? Smythe's either really resiliant or The Stunner really sucks xD. - That's a great password, not on I'd easily guess. Should probably refrain from asking Versus any questions really. He doesn't seem lucid. Ah.... it's group silence. About the group name.... IT'S FIGHT CLUB! If I wasn't already busy breaking someone's mind, Majin, I'd love to take a romp in yours. - The Fi-er, the fi-er! The match keeps buffering :(. Those knees are nasty. Dupree needs to find a way to make his knees as bony as humany possible, use them like daggers! Drago's smart to take advantage of the empty reversals from Tibby to hit two strong grapples, I'd do the same thing. That Cesaro corner uppercut looks pretty good on Drago. He wins another with his opponents finisher, WHAT A SCUMBAG!!!! - I keep forgetting Spider's intent on retiring after this. What a bust-er! How do you figure Pugh as the most accomplished champion in OCW history? I don't buy that one for a minute knowing the resumes of some of the other guys in the HoF. Didn't realize Spider had a little 'Lution streak going on. That brings something to this match for sure. - Who the hell is this? This is "The Messenger" I guess, but beyond that I know nothing. I like his attire though. Get em Sensation! By God he's packin' heat! Street Fight, nice!
  25. I was under the impression, and by that I mean when I asked I was told, that the circle ends if the champion loses. Like if Sean loses to Parker then that's it and there's no match for Tobin or Pugh. Is that not true?
