The Steve

My recent thinking has led my to think that an individualized approach to setup would be better than to unilaterally say 'no QG or strikes into a ground finiher'. If someone's setup is definiely cheesy though, call 'em out, as I too have seen some cheesy shit myself.

I'm fighing so hard Leon because my setup for The Steve is a quick grapple arm drag, and I really fail to see how that's unfair when I give them more than enough time to attempt to reverse it, and teh initial quick grapple can be reversed too. I completely get where you guys are coming from, but not everyone abuses the system (like myself).

One of the most ethically sound. Called this morning and it's getting shipped from Texas today.

Why does no one complain when I arm drag them down and slap on The Steve? I give them ample time to reverse my finisher.

You don't watch my matches then. I'll put the guy down ANY way I can. It's all legal and ethical since the opponent has a couple opportunities to reverse. So long as you give the guy that split second chance to reverse it, it's legal. There is no difference what so ever in striking a guy down and grappling him down...no difference. EDIT: ...and Stacey, I argue when I see someone post something dumb.

How the hell is one supposed to set up a ground finisher? Not to mention, all you need is a strike to set up a front finisher, but yet a strike setup is wrong with a ground finisher? Get skills. Not everything that is difficult to reverse cheesy.

Morale is caused by letting people say and feel what they want. Taking away free speech in the name of protecting the community doesn't protect the community at all, but rather destroys it. Honestly, the minute I'm not allowed to express my viewpoints, no matter how unpopular they are, is the minute I'm gone. Instead of telling people to stay quiet when you don't like their opinion, why don't you explain why you think they are wrong (which I know you do Jay, so it's not directed at you persay), or put them on the ignore list (man, I'm like a broken record). The issue is not what people say, it's how peple react to what they say. No offense, but if most people here got teh sand out of their vaginas, OCW would lose a lot of it's current problems. (yes I know this is gonna casue flame war, but I meant it with the best of intentions :) ).

Val was not screwed. He broke all sorts of FPR at 'Lution when he won. As Bax refered to it already, he was 'rewarded' for his FPR breakage by being put into a BR to make sure he didn't leave with his ill gotten gains. Leon, you can't call people's opinion that you don't personally like as 'crying'. I really don't want to go through this again today like I did last night with Ryder. Everyone, stop telling people what to say and feel about things OCW related. You or anyone don't have the right to tell people how to think/feel. People want comments and involvement...well you need to prepare for comments you may not like and deal with it. Censorship will always be bad.

There was a DLC issue with the ME and will not be able to be completed.

Shit, we were talking on AIM as we were debating on the boards toward the end of that. It was over long beofre anyone posted after us. In the old days this would have been a 'fuck you...no, fuck you' fight. This was nothing like the old days.
