  1. Is there a date we have to have acquired 2k8 by? Also CJ Hoppus would be interested in any of the staffing roles. It would give me something to do.
  2. Glad you finally sorted him out Ron. That monkey scares me.
  3. Ov moves away from the mic because he saw a spider.
  4. My favourite OCW superstar ever is back!
  5. Sorry if it aint in order and i miss everything but its 10 pages! Battle Royal - was pretty good, especially for a 3way. I was hoping air would win but it wasnt to be. Wild West Saloon Match - had some good RPs and the match actually turned out well apart from the factthe camera seemed a bit blurry Tag Team - I don't really know what to say about my own match... Go Team! Cruz vs. Parker - sure the match was one sided but the promos were great. If you guys keep it up you could potentially create some top stories. Leon vs. DJ - That match had some awesome editing MMM vs. Guy Fausto - It took me a while to work what the rules for the match were, but all i can say is your fingers must have been sore after that match Majin vs Nate - Nate's plastic surgey didn't go well, however it didn't seem to interfere with his wrestling ability. Two guys killing each other and having fancy videos and RPs to go with it is always one to enjoy! Ex title match - Dick Blood actually lost! I was not expecting that at all but it was a good showing by strider Triple threat match for the TV Title - Another reasonably good match for a 3way with a title on the line. I was roooting for Ryder because I didn't think he had a chance being the only LHW... Kage vs AJ - Good main event with a suspenseful last few minutes. I thought Kage was going to win it but AJ shows he's a deserving champ by making one of the best wrestlers in OCW tap. Perfect Circle - It's sad to see Versus go, especially when he has such an epic entrance. I thought he might actually do it, but it wasn't to be.
  6. There will be more when I finish watching it. Who did the editing for DJ vs. leon? It was awesome.
  7. The Try and Get More People to Comment On the Show Report (part 2) Repent! Jaysin is warned to repent for his sins (beating his own daughter and the attempted assassination of Nate Ortiz). Jaysin is having none of it and claims that he has the right to do whatever he wants, due to his grasp of power in OCW. Guy Fausto vs. KAAAAANG James I wasn't really sure what to expect here. Both guys know how to win matches so I was hoping for a close encounter (not of the third kind) which is exactly what we got. James matched Guy all the way, but in the end Guy proved why he is a safe bet. 17 Stones and Under Championship Air has a quick rant about how Dick Blood is a disgrace and how this Sunday at Devil's Night he will prove that Air is the best LHW wrestler of all time. Kage vs. AJ's Posse You have to feel a one sided match is approaching when it's 2 on 1. But when Kage is the 1 then it's a different story. He put up a good fight both in and out of the ring but the numbers game eventually took its toll. AJ came down to the ring after the match to "finish the job" but is distracted by the Tron which shows Yuriko tied up. Kage attacks AJ from behind, evening up the score. Revenge is best served with a side order of pain Majin is approached by that crazy priest Jacob so Majin puts him in his place by planting his face into the concrete. Leaving the scene Majin does not realise he is being stalked by Tiffany Sensation and a mystery man who I believe is Professor Xavier. We are treated to a sweet video of Nate of Majin. Move of the Night - Even though it was RP'ed I couldn't help but laugh when Majin DDT'ed Jacob into the concrete Quote of the Night - Al Poling with the line "Sensation is god, Scaggs. Why do you need god when you are one?" Match of the Night - I have to give it to Tyler vs. Air
  8. The Try and Get More People to Comment On the Show Report (part 1) Supervillain vs. Superhero When I read these guys names I immediately thought about comic book characters for some reason. Anyway Venom claims that DaWonder will be too scared to face him, only for Smythe to respond by coming to the ring to "face his fear". Venom warns him to not come any closer but Smythe ignores him... Venom *C* vs. Smythe DaWonder for the Hardcore Championship Due to the fact I watched this match before I went to bed last night I'm writing this from memory. But I do know Smythe surpassed my expectations for the second time this week putting on another good performance. However he was clearly distracted by the gangrel music as the wrestler formerly known as Pee Stee takes the victory. However the celebrations are shortlived when Vic Vimes announces that the Hardcore Title match will be a regular fixture on Riot. Tyler vs. Air I expected a close match between two of OCW's most sucessful skinnies, and they didn't disappoint. When it started the first minute was like a toe kicking competition and I was tempted to skip to the next match. Luckily both guys realised continuously missing toe kicks did nothing and went decided to beat each other up instead. Air took a slight lead, but any time he tried to increase his lead Tyler fought back, leaving us with a result that could go either way. Majin wants to partake in hate crimes against the crippled Majin wants a match against Nate at Devil's Night. Jaysin insists that he has been speaking to Nate's doctor and there is no way he could ever compete again. However Majin believes it's a lame excuse and demands a buried alive match. Jaysin dismisses the idea because of the money it would waste so Majin offers to pay for it all and leaves Jay to let him think about it. Athletes > Brawlers Ed Reed decides that he's at an advantage because he has had less hardcore experience than Majin. He doesn't care though because he believes his physical ability is a greater asset than being able to hit somebody with a chair. he also has a dig at Team Underdog stating that they have no chance of winning at Devil's Night (what a jackass... Go Team!). Majin vs. Reed Glad it's not me paying the repair bill after this match. Both these guys literally trashed the place. If they ahd been in attendence I'm sure these two would have used their own mothers as weapons. Majin took an early and commanding lead in this match but Reed fought back. In the end though hardcore experience prevailed. Attack of the mormons? Jaysin has a meeting with a priest... No he doesn't... Yes he does... No he doesn't... Yes he does! he's just hoping it's not a mormon. Greg doesn't like Dan Syndrome... or Jim Black either Greg is still annoyed at being attacked by Syndrome. Jim Black doesn't seem to want to hear his complaining and tries to get a word on the upcoming match against Posion. Greg insists on talking about his attack though, and for being rude, demands that Jim Black supplies him with alcohol, what every wrestler needs plenty of in their diet. Kael vs. Poison It is expected that somebody will suffer ring rust when are out as long as Kael, so it doesn't help being put in a match with the former champion Poison. Although Kael had a good run during match it came far too late as he was already heavily beaten by that stage. Honour at stake Leon wants a match against CCW enemy Deano horse, but Vimes is annoyed at him for already making OCW look bad. He uses the excuse of Deano not being in attendance, only for Deano to walk past his office with his entourage. Leon gets his match... Leon vs. Deano After the amazing match they had on Turmoil i knew this would almost certainly turn out to be disappointing no matter the outcome. However we sort of get a mirror of the last match with leon taking a commanding lead. Deano has a great comeback and this time the comeback is completed (with a little help from Regan). Extreme! Run-ins Leon, annoyed at the behaviour of Regan through the match tries to start another fight. however, summoned by the crowd, Leon's Devil's Night opponent DJ makes the save. Part 2 will appear sometime tomorrow with the match of the night, move of the night and quote of the night awards.
  9. He tried to kill Rogue!
  10. Entertaining or not you still haven't delivered my copy of Lost Season 3!
  11. Welcome the first ever edition of the "Try and Get More People to Comment On the Show Report" starring me, CJ Hoppus, the world's most popular wrestler. Usually I'll only be doing this for OCw but I thought I would be nice and do it for CCW until they get somebody to step up to the "plate". Some people might see this as a blatant rip-off and inferior version of the Madness Report. They are right. So sit back and enjoy as I blow your mind! 3 titles are better than 1 With more plot twists than Scream, the opening Rp has Brad Bauer, trips and Ryder all arguing over who should be champ. Although Richards is in Favour of Brad soon Geomon and Vimes get involved. The end result is a lot of bitching and a 3way title match at Devil's Night. President Regan meet Clive Turns out Deano likes sticking things up his ass much to Regan's enjoyment. But their party is ruined when Clive arrives to inform them that Leon has arrived. Although Regann seems worried, Deano is unphased and goes in search of the man with the shoe fetish. Time vs. Pugh Despite the earlier negativity about Pugh's attire I liked it, even if it was an accident. Time pretty much was in control from the start of this match and for most of it I was expecting an easy win. However, Pugh started a comeback and I thought Time could lose it, but he managed to keep his nerve and eventually seal the win (despite a dodgy ref). Cooper vs. Cruz When I saw these two lineup I expected a squash match. Cooper didn't disappoint. With a who's who of the world's most devastating moves Cooper beat Cruz into a proverbial pulp. Somehow (and stupidly - did he want to get hurt more?) Cruz finds a way to prolong the match, but eventually Cooper catches Cruz with the chokeslam for the 3 count. Another annoying post match handshake RP... or is it? When I started reading this RP I immediately thought "Not another crappy mighty ducks movie scene where all the enemies shake hands and become friends", because they annoy me to the point I actually want whoever wrote it to come out of the closet, then get punched in the face until they apologise. Luckily Carlos decides to be a dick, and so Alex has to bribe Carlos with the one thing no mexican can resist... Tequila! Strider vs. Remy LeBeau Richards decides to be nice for once by removing Michael Heaton from the card and replacing him with one of the X-men. Unfortunately for Gambit he left his cards backstage, so Sean capitalises by kicking his ass. \_0_/ Smythe decides to show off his new assistants Spectacular and Fantasically Well who, going by their names, are two James Bond rejects. Needless to say eddie Allen is too awesome to care. EA vs. DaWonder Dye to Smythe's jobbing tag I was expecting an easy win for EA so was suprised by his performance in this match. Teaquila Cooper returns to the bar with Cruz to find Versus. Ed informs him he is on the roof due to Cooper's failings to keep annoyances away from Versus. Alex tries to make Carlos drink tea, so he demands that it's at least spiked with Tequila. Versus turns up after realising that Heaton can even annoy him on the roof and that nowhere is safe. Hopefully their bark is worse than their bite Recon seems to be annoyed. Particularly at emos and his old faction mates Gaines, Wilson and Samuel. During the course of his selling of his new facton "Dogs Of..." he is interupted by a KKK promotion video that for some reason made me think of maniacs, clowns, Ironman and Skelator look-a-likes. Gabe is a dummy who craps his pants Deano wants to introduce Gabe to the world of makeup and nail polish, however Gabe is having none of it. He is still pissed at Deano's actions from last week so puts Deano in a match against Leon Heart. Deano seems more worried about his face than actually losing the match due to his big photoshoot coming up. Will the distraction cost him the match... Horse vs. Heart Well it turns out Deano fights a lot better when he knows his face is in danger. It takes about 4 minutes before Leon realises he has to wrestle too. But by then it's too late and Deano has an unassailable lead. Or does he? Deano starts to get cocky which lets Leon back into the match and gives us an exciting end. The Meditation Chamber in colour Versus' guests this week are two of his Devil's Night opponenets RD Money and AA. AA seems more concerned with stealing Ed's Jack Daniels stash than actually answering any questions, and RD decides to speak ghetto talk which is too "down with it" for me to comprehend. Mad Mike meet Chesty Continuing his rigorous training program, which began mid-meditation chamber, Versus and Chesty run into MMM. rather than risk any sort of confrontation Versus distracts MMM with a nice massage from his topless friend. Subliminal is the new fad Justin Time seems to have trouble with a copier but I just can't help that there's more to this promo than meets the eye (deliberate Transormers reference). D'n'D vs. Trips and Ryder People were doubting if Ryder and Trips could work together. Well they proved them wrong as for large parts of the match they looked like a tag team. They seemed to get the tags at the right time most of the match which helped give them an edge over D'n'D's apparent gameplan of "let's kick their ass and win". The match was really close for virtually all the match and I think the losers were unlucky at the end not to get the breakup. Move of the Night - Carlos decides to act tough by staring down Cooper from point blank range. The big guy responds by stamping on Carlos' foot then booting him in the face. Hilarious. Quote of the Night - EA with his line "I am awesomer than 3 boob chick from Total Recall" Match of the Night - Had to go for the match that had a great comeback and a close finish: Deano Horse vs. Leon Heart
  12. IMO the easiest way to get a match done is pm your opponent as soon as you see the card and ask for a list of all their available times. When they reply pick a time and do it then. If either opponent knows they cant make it PM as soon as possible and organise a different time (maybe have a backup time organised already in case the original falls through).
  13. Where'd the other 2 minutes of our match go?
  14. Wild West Saloon Brawl FTW!
  15. Go team!
  16. At least winning was out of your hands. You could have been playing well that match and still would have lost. In a game where the other guy just seems to reverse everything you can't do anything about it.
  17. Wasn't he in Attack of the Flesh Eating Sponge?
  18. The best QB's are the ones that can carry a team. Garcia is QB that is clearly carrying his team.
  19. Do i get some cash for letting my dad kick leon in the face?
  20. Leon vs. CJ has been done
  21. They all suck because the strong majority are more interested in winning the match than actually following FPR and being ethical. These matches only work if you have people that can follow FPR and have good match ethics. A prime example is the frst ever commonwealth title match between Air, Fearo and I. It kicked ass because nobody rushed or hovered. However, this rarely happens because in 3/4-ways people like to rush instead of giving the guys a chance to get up or target, and in tag matches people generally don't understand the simple rule of max 3 illegal interferances per person. Combine this with the fact that the strong majority of the roster like to spam 16's, link stun moves so they can hit 40 damage in the space of 5 seconds, do 3 stomps or a ground grapple after every move, save finishers which they gained by being cheap and the general unethical behaviour of many and we rarely get to see a good match in these stipulations.
  22. If I remember it right, you were here not long before I was so it would have been mid to late October, as I was early November.
  23. That's good because we and Trips we're going to start a lynch mob to protect his monopoly of WWE superstar clones (Trips used to be HHH's long clone until he realised the ways of the force and made a gimmick).
  24. Don't use the jericho material at all.
  25. It's great that OCW has been going for so long and I've spent nearly 2 years here now (1st week of November 2005 I think I arrived) and I still love it.
