Once again, I'm trying to stay away from the boards, but what Jay said in this holds 100% true. Something's happening here, and it's not good. Like I said, 2k8 good or bad, we will make it good. I've said that since the beginning. I'm hoping that when I come back, some of the old feeling is back. The feeling that everyone appreciates what everyone else brings to the table. And if they don't bring anything, we beat them until they a)do, or b)leave. I remember this being fun, because the ability to look beyond your own little world was the driving force to producing better material.

 

My example: Last weeks Riot had 12 comments on it. 12!!! Guy wrote, what I think is one of THE funniest RP's I've ever read. It involved many people, hurt none, and was made just for fun. But because people aren't directly involved, it gets skipped over, and that's fucking sad. I can't say to stop thinking about yourselves only, because for some people, it's just how they are. But try, just try to believe that other people out there put out material that's worth a damn.

 

Now, back to my vacation.

I'm glad I'm mentioned in the rant. I enjoy the company of men.

I don't necessarily like 08, but I am going to buy it for OCW... as soon as I sign a contract.

I also love when someone cant take criticism to a product and edits a post to make him feel better. Along with my love for men.

As much as I may hate 08, I agree to moving to it. I don't see a lot happening around the boards as of late, there used to be discussions all the time and now that has dropped and even in the shows. I am partly to blame for that for not replying.

 

Sdvsrw 07 has gotten stale and we need a new game to make things fresh, just till at least TNA comes out. Lets just pray that’s the game for us.

 

As Versus says maybe we can find a way to make this work.

I will buy 08 on Friday for OCW but I will be sick afterwards. Don't say I'm not a team player. :)

I complain about the S-Cup because it was quite frankly sort of bait and switch.

 

IT was promoted as more of a Pure Wrestling Style last year. Ring of Honor style.

 

No banishment of lift moves, leaving the ring, whips, chops.

 

IE more Danielson/Regal wrestling instead of Rock/Stone Cold.

 

That's the difference and the adjustments(No leaving rings/chops/whips/lift moves) makes it MMA-ish and not seem as fun.

 

If the rules were the same as they were proposed for S-Cup 2k6, I'd be welcoming it with open arms. I'm a bit sour because you changed something I really wanted to do to something I really couldn't care less about.

 

It's like anticipating getting No Mercy for your birthday and they give you the Dreamcast UFC game instead. Not nearly as good.
