BREAKING NEWS! Sources close to Brian Williams have informed him about the reasons surrounding why El Parca was not present at Turmoil 302. Sources claim the Grand Slam Champion wasn’t present due to surrounding issues with his personal life and contractual negotiations. El Parca had signed a contract extension last year before the highly anticipated Wrestlution 16 Main Event against Harvey Ocean and Colby McCallum. Dennis Dillinger and then GM of OCW, Tiberius Dupree signed the extension for one year as Parca had internal struggles mentally and physically. After returning to action at RIOT 600, the path back to the top has been bumpy for the former World Champion. Recent struggles with KC Barrett, Aries, and the sudden betrayal from Anthony Martin has had a severe impact on Parca’s mental health. With the recent power struggle stemming from the results of Wrestlution 17, with Drago Cesar now becoming COO and Empress being fired and then rehired, contract negotiations haven’t been as speedy as they once were. WhereCulture has tried reaching out to El Parca for comment but we’re unable to do so. His representative, Dennis Dillinger has gone on record with a press release late last week stating, “This is all semantics. As soon as I have a sit down with COO Drago Cesar all of this will be handled. In the meantime El Primero is taking some personal time as he sees fit. When you’re a star of that caliber, time moves around you, not vice versa.” With this report some fans are speculating that perhaps Summercide 2023 was the last time we will see El Parca. Love seeing the tag division starting to fire on some serious cylinders leading into Cide. DNS, Mass Effect, Perfect Storm, Maxx Storage, and Future Idiotz mannnn I don't think we've seen a division as loaded in quite some time. I think Cyber Sammy needs to immediately go get his oil checked or pee in a cup whichever you prefer. The stuff with Kareem & Tony that is involving Pugh is money. Tony is the best, and the many will always be one of the best. We seen it in his title defense and I can only imagine we're gonna see it more and more as it looks like no one is taking that title off of him anytime soon. I'm still not 100% sold on Kingu or w/e you wanna call him. He hasn't resonated with me or given me any reason where I feel like he's some imposing force, I'd like to see him step up in competition and actually not lose. Cause not to be that guy, but you're not undefeated. You lost in the 5 way where you physically got pinned so this "undefeated streak" is not a thing bubba. DNS always being over the shows is something I'll never get enough of them. I don't care if it's BASH, Mad Dawg. Samsin, or ANYONE in there. These guys can string together wins and impose fear whether it's mental, physical, or if homie is just stealing money! The Parker / DNS feud is something I gotta admit I'm still not 100% in love with but that's for my own reasons on where I personally would like Parker to be at. But man, if BASH pulls that upset against Parker? Then DNS will seriously be owed A LOT more respect. I don't understand why we use IRL people in content for OCW. We have always been in the mindset (or where I believed) that we keep a lot of IRL stuff out of OCW. I get subtly nudging to IRL stuff and making these meta curtain pull things but we don't constantly have to do it with stuff that isn't even involved in OCW. When it's meta curtain pull toward stuff in universe I get it, but when we had rookies and others use the WWE titles or any silliness like that they'd usually be told "aye don't do that." But oh whale I suppose. Paul Harris losing his debut in a fucking battle breaks my heart for the member of the Snakepit, but cmon man. Gonzalo is the most handsome man in the entirety of the galaxy! So that right there was rough for Paul off rip but oh well, the rookie has a small speed bump and he'll keep it pushing into his career for OCW. I wasn't super fond of his ent / song but that sort of thing isn't really a big of an ordeal. I love C-Note and what he's doing with his FI so far. Making EVERY champ be on notice is such a nice breath of fresh air. While I don't realistically see C-Note cashing in on Tony or Paul, I definitely like how he's keeping everyone on their toes so that way they don't know WHO he's going to use that briefcase on.

Page Two: Telos Post Match Promo Big Los coming off that hot W drops some knowledge on Stacy. Seems like perhaps there is going to be a potential tag match on the horizon between RyVaughn & Devon Flash w/ Telos and his partner? Now that is something Im here for. New tag teams? New tag team feuds? Fuck yeah brother sign me up all the way. JynX has a message The video effects made my eyes a bit weird and I wasn't most fond of it. The message though? That is creepy. JynX alongside with the DNS are a very interesting group right now in OCW. Im curious to see where all of them go and what the endgame for all of them is going to be. OWEN reviews the tape "I saw Sanctum crumble" my heart is broken, soul is shattered, and my mind is gone. Sheldon has broken my heart, OWEN has lost the young prodigy, and James fucking Fraser is nowhere to be found. I hate it here, stop hurting me. Second Match - Paul Boulet vs. Derek Smith Paul Boulet has a beautiful head of hair and a wonderful beard to accompany it. GOD DAMN! What was two big meaty men beating meat (no pause keep playing) it eventually turned into a one-sided beatdown really. Paul got out of the first Pay Your Dues and I thought the tide would turn, but alas, Paul could not keep up with the pace of Derek and Derek came out the victor. The after-match bits were solid, both men clearly showing this isn't gonna end until we get a match between the two. (also neither guy wore kneepads) Megan really did her dad like that oof This was just a violation on a whole other level. I personally don't think Wrex should've taken that disrespect but when he's a deadbeat dad? Ehhh I mean I guess you deserve it lol. I need to see me the glorious run of Deborah Soto. Match Three - Deaver & Quartz vs. DarkNet Society What a banging start with the Quartz & Deaver tag entrance. That made my jimmies all happy and I live for that shit. Missed opportunity big time by DNS for not having a tag team entrance tbh, also not fond of BASH's look either just didn't really give me what I was wanting in my mind fully on how this new version of him would be. The match on the other hand was wild, Quartz really came in and dominated for the early part then after that this man just never touched the inside of the ring as the legal man again. I did not like Joe just constantly staying in the ring, maybe he wanted to prove himself to Quartz, maybe he wanted to prove it to himself, it just felt too risky. Luckily the good guys pull off the W that we are wanting to see so Joe keeps his mind! I want now that BASH took the pin to become another new edition but be absolutely fucking YOKED to the gills brother. Terra & CG face-to-face Terra has always been one of the best characters in OCW. From writing, video, matches, feuds, everything, she is the total package. She is someone who can lead the women's division and course correct the nonsense that has been going on ever since the EMP / Harri chronicles have ensued. CG on the other hand? This man is a menace, a goon, and a ticking timebomb. Seeing the two interact makes you wonder just exactly what he means with Jasmin. This self implosion and vague ideas on the consequences everyone is going to start facing other than CG makes you wonder what the womens' champion has going on. Jasmin has been through way too much shit so it'll be something to keep an eye on as Lution is so close. The formation and the plan Claudio with the full spa vibes going on is absolutely hilarious. I love this man, give my Tribal Cheeks all of the titles, all of the accolades, everything. But who else saw that man Kareem scheming in the background listening to Claudios dad eh? Mmm something doesn't seem good about that. WE GOT ANOTHER NEW TAG TEAM!!! Mass Effect LETS GOGOGOGOGOGOG! The tag entrance, the tag attire, the TAG PROMO!?!?!? I love this shit!!! Such an awesome segment top to bottom. The most passively aggressive aggressive showdown Maxx & Jordan seem like they should be a tag team while John and Colin are just two jaded soon-be best friends who just gotta kick the shit out of one another until they see they are very similar. Maxx being the drama king that he is can always be heard shouting from across the globe when things don't go his way. The staring contest between John and Colin, lol. The beef between the two and the friendliness between Jordan and Maxx makes this a very neat dynamic for the rematch. What I won't accept though is that Jordan reading over a Kasstianity pamphlet, disgusting! Page Two fin. Kk now am done, will possibly continue tomorrow, who knows!

Page One: Harvey & DOC Opening Promo Very solid opening promo to get us ready for the WERDZ! Is always a good read when you have the KANG of OCW and Hell Harvey going back and forth with one another. Hit the points we needed to hit with this and got us where we needed to be, these fellas are gonna thrown down in a Hell in a Cell, which godspeed for them and their bodies. I'm sure that'll be a wild match and can't wait to see who comes out on top. Opening Match - JynX vs. Telos An awesome back and forth match. Telos really took the strong lead in the beginning but JynX did not fold and scratched and clawed his way back to getting Telos in the DANGER ZONE first! The battle of attrition between who would make the smallest mistake first was awesome. The playing field here just felt so good on seeing both guys really push each other, Telos caught the W in the end but JynX has nothing to be ashamed of. If mans can keep putting on matches like that he's definitely all set. Telos picking up this W is a nice bit of momentum as we make our way into Lution. The Chance & Derek Connection Derek clearly is feeling some type of way and regrets what he did and Chance is obviously not fond of the actions his fellow academy member did. Somehow Feinstein even after getting fired earlier today found himself in the GOAT Academy already doing some serving on the side. Derek continues to show the growth in character and in the words area so that is always what we love to see. Marisa's Family Time Short and sweet, we get to meet Marisas baby brother. Kinda wondering how long it'll be before he reveals he's a wrestler and has to save Marisa from some sort of shenanigans. Or maybe I'm fantasy booking but regardless we move along. Quartz and his adopted son- I mean Deaver THE BIG FRAWG IS HERE AND WE LOVE TO SEE THAT MAN! RIBBIT RIBBIT. The time is here and tonight is the night, we get to see if Joe Deaver can finally put his money where his mouth is and keep his mind! Literally! Quartz gives ole Joey boy the rundown and a pep talk while we see Joe having some inner doubts and questioning if he can do it, mans doesn't wanna become Samsin (I wouldn't either he smells) but Quartz has to remind his man that he runs the bingo baby. Looking forward to see what these two do later tonight and hopefully Joe keeps his mind! Or else he'll be the Head Believer for the Worm. Queen Ashley is here Short and sweet yet again. We got TOO many big fuckers moving around like they're TY Sparks! But the triple threat match RyVaughn was in definitely a solid debut. Outcome wasn't exactly what I wanted but we were close to it, with the impressive debut done with I can't wait to see more of RyVaughn. Nate Mac is also a stud who I will never be upset about seeing on my screen, easy T3 best theme song in OCW right now DIGIT! Alyssa Marceaux coming out and putting the women's division on notice was EXCITINGGGGGGG! I love that right now more than ever it feels like a truly new guard is taking the women's division over. Jasmin just needs to put the final nail in the coffin and get rid of Harri + EMP / TOG and brother WE IN BUSINESS. Alyssa shooting the stray towards Derek is disrespect I personally don't see myself taking but Derek can handle his business how he sees fit, tbh I'd punt her but that's just me. A few technical tweaks would have taken this from good attempt to stellar. I feel with the AI Voices we need to remember that they won't "animate" or give off proper emotion so while wanting a voice to the face it's a fine line of trying not to be a robot. The sound could've been cranked up (at least for me) as it felt as Trent in the production crew was not caring about Alyssa tryna talk to her people! Regardless, live and learn going out of the comfort zone is the reason why OCW content gets as good as it does. Alyssa also has one of the very best entrances right now in OCW and only one other person can rival her in the production / presentation of their entrance but I'll touch on that later. Dragana & Bertha *chef kiss* that is how you just do OCW. Seeing an OG / HoFer just roll their sleeves up and just drop some absolute GOLDEN HEAT on FREE TV!!! FREE!!!! IS the type of content that gets you up in the morning with a smile on your face. Not only were we blessed to get the absolute YAMS of Dragana but the entire video was a blast. I can't wait to see what other madness we get in the coming weeks / at the PPV i assume and inject it all into the veins. BASH had quite the handful with Viktor Karmine. I don't know how it would feel to get your arms all touched up by some orange hair guy but definitely didn't look fun. His theme song was absolute fire but the look... man the look. I am trying to wrap my head around it and I'm definitely here for it, but remember... you're not some Insane Darren... -rip legend- standard rookie match though tbh, gotta get warmed up to the game / mechanics of an OCW match and I'm sure he'll be rolling in no time. Scotty really needs to appreciate Viktors attempts at being a team and friends, that isn't something that happens so often in OCW. But rookies gonna rookie.. right? MOTN easily was Jasmin vs. Kameyo. From handler outlook, game outlook, everything, it was all just so much money. So fun, and just crazy from start to finish, if these are the types of matches that can be had and the game still isn't fully broken in? Oh yea. That means were gonna be in for a good year. Jasmin showing why she's the champ and WILL* stay being the champ is what the crowd came to see. Applause all around and very fun match to watch. THE VANILLA FUCKING GORILLA COLBY MCCALLUM IS BACK BABY!!!! God damn, most handsome man in all of OCW and just a stud. Always feels like a big fight feel when Colby is in the ring and against who!? While it gives you the telltale thing of OCW that comp is comp kid, that was still such a great match. Never in my days of OCW would I have seen Marisa get big timed by Debbie! This is wild! This is a fight that now after the segment I have to see. The Indy Belt Collector just coming in like she owns the place (which I'm sure eventually she will) but the fact we got to see a hilarious big time on TV man I don't think my jaw dropped as hard, fantastic work MAINNNN EVVEEEENNNNTTTT BAAAABBBYYYYYY! SO MUCH GREATNESS ON FREE. TV!!!!!! The KANG of OCW versus the man with the absolute god tier, #1 entrance in OCW Kassidy Hayes. All of it from DOCs entrance, to Kass's entrance was fucking gas so much gas I'm inhaling all of the OCW pack. Really surprised how the match went but what surprised me even more was H2O sliding in and RUTHLESSLY attacking DOC with the steel chair. Brother has had neck issues, concussions, and a fucked up nose and you do that!? Shit gang... that is wild behavior. Scattered thoughts, might add more about the words, but this show was so fun to watch and read so far. Congratulations to all of the people who got promoted and I can't wait to see what else the community brings to the table.

The Colby video goes to show that there is levels to the game and none of us are on Aries level. That by far was the best video of the show, best video of 2023, and all of eternity. Mans really came back and just said “hold on I got this for y’all.” Like JEEESSUUUUUUUSSSSSS. How sexual and just overall amazing from start to finish. Something that many thought would just be wiped under the rug and never brought to light oh boy. I can’t wait to see where he goes with this return. RIOT 600 gonna be crispy when the Vanilla Gorilla is present. Speaking of RIOT 600, Maxx Storage hitting the fuck it button and doing a 2v3 is some next level machismo. The way they laid the gauntlet out and made it clear things are gonna be different is exactly what the tag division needed. Come and gone are the consistent 2v2 defenses from Sanctum/PC/LC/CQC sprinkled in with some madness. These boys chose madness for their very first defense! I won’t get too much into the outside stuff since discord + twitch has made it quite clear how we audience felt about that. What I WILL comment on is how Colin was just letting his man get ganged up on the outside without any concern. Especially when at one point I think almost everyone or everyone was on the outside. I get it you got a job to do and to win but you also gotta job to your tag partner my man. Protect ya mans! I’ll be rooting for Maxx Storage at RIOT because I am real interested to see what other madness they come up with if they succeed. Claudio is easily the BEST International Champion we have seen ever since that championship came back. His presentation, his stories, everything keeps leveling up. He looks like a final boss, he acts like a final boss, and now he’s finally getting that rub and shine where he’s working with top of the card contenders which just gives us some of the greatest content we can get. This new Tony I’m a bit meh on, on one hand I see where Tony is coming from but now him adding this new edge of just being a fucking prick is unexpected. I don’t think anyone was thinking they would possibly be booing Tony and cheering for Claudio. Regardless of what happens BOTH of these guys have only up to go from this feud. Can we drop the whole entrance just to ad for the webshow? Gimme like 10-15 seconds and then do the ad. Quick and easy kthnxbai. The CCW Title is in a weird spot (for me) seeing Wrex as champion again just seems off. It feels like we hit the revert button but instead of going back we went forward in the worst way. Ole boy looks like he is 70 and like he’ll collapse any moment, Horse adding himself in and then being accepted into it by both Wrex & Quartz is odd. I guess we can play off the whole “attraction” thing but meh I’d rather have just seen Wrex and Quartz run the rematch just themselves. Just the more ideal match for me but hopefully the triple threat isn’t a car crash and the REAL champion comes out victorious. Let’s go BIG FROG RIBBIT RIBBIT. I’m sure there’s some OOC stuff tied into this but man I’m so bummed about Marcus. Talk about a great character that I feel was railroaded and derailed then just never given a proper chance to flourish. Great look, had fucking AWESOME promos, his stories were wonky here and there but he was doing the work. It does suck to see the winner of the S-Cup not really be utilized the way you’d think he would be. I hope Marcus does course correct after the knee injury and just comes back to MAUL everyone. Gimme a 100% healthy Marcus that is on a warpath and that makes me the happiest person in the world. John & C-Note in the main event was something. Fresh blood in the main event and also sitting here proving John Carter can’t beat anybody that isn’t Nate Mac. Fucking BUM! Anyways, John is in a peculiar situation, dudes got a boatload of momentum with the whole Wrestling Man gimmick + Jordan Trance in his corner. But brother still has the FI case, and man I’d really hate to see the FI go to waste. Cash in on the tag titles and break the FI mold and have a crazy feel good moment for John + Jordan or become the world champion you should be damnit. Seeing C-Note win was HUGE! HUGE!!! Big Daddy Trance definitely gotta be happy with that performance. C-Note is shaping up real nice to be a solid contender anywhere he goes and his continued development with The Family is really helping him as well so I can’t wait to see where this goes further. KC is a madman, Cody deserves it, and god damn that concrete hurts I know it does. EMPs continued madness on the show is always good content so definitely enjoyable. I worry for her long term health because I don’t think light saber fighting with a Wookiee is gonna help those concussion symptoms. But y’know she’s a whole lot better than Harri so we rock with it baby. Can only wonder what the shit storm will be when Tibby finally comes back home and realizes his house is on scorching fire. To not turn this into some fight, there isn’t an “inside joke” that portion of what is being said is just flat out wrong. Me & Nick have been commentating with one another for well over a year now. Could I tell you when we went from what we started to where we are now with the marriage and sexual bants? Probably once we became more comfortable with the commentating style with each other. Not that I think what anyone is saying is wrong, everyone is entitled to their opinion and that’s what should drive forum discussion. But inside joke? Nah huge miss, tone down on other areas that we indulge in? Sure I can get behind that. This is also just the first time I would say in public that this sort of thing has been said. We’ve had 13 Ambitions where if anything was wild or whatnot that could’ve been said much sooner but it isn’t anything to rock the boat over. Every commentator pairing has their things they like to flirt with and people will enjoy them more than other pairings which is totally fine. The premise of the Sanctum video was rather simple. It was a callout to TWC who time and time again have not removed Sanctum from their mouths. Marcus, John, and to some small degree Parker* (when he was in TWC) they would always mention the team and about how we are “ducking” them. While I do see the point of it’s not your standard Wrestling 101 of building up your opponents/division it does lead into the inevitable match that the two teams. Now should we have possibly discussed this with TWC? No. Because I’m not gonna spoil the results of the tag title match before it comes out. While I disagree that the video is weird/breaks kayfabe/or is “toxic” I feel like it should be given more time. We also had a promo on the show where you could see the frustration building up (especially with Sheldon) so I get where the feedback is coming from. I think it’s being written off too quickly as a “discord” beef or as something bad. Just faith trust and pixie dust really. But valid discussion, OWEN killed the video and I think it’s a great start to something with TWC.

The Japan show is gonna fuck. What I thought couldn't keep adding interest and hype to it I get proven wrong. Now knowing there is gonna be nine matches, plus seeing WHAT some of these matches are gonna be mmmmm. I wouldn't keep reading if you don't wanna get spoiled in some way or form anyways. I'd love to actually see Pugh somehow destroy Harvey and become World Champion #5Time if Nate can do it... why not Pugh besides against Harvey? Absolute win. That promo and just the coloring of the lettering *chefs kiss* it's the shit you love to see in OCW and makes you keep wanting to come back for more. Maxx trying to cut the head off of Kasstianity seems like a wonderful story doesn't it? I just want him to go to Japan, body Kass, and then run it back with Harvey and win the strap (if of course Pugh doesn't already do this lul) and boom fairytale complete. However, Kass is a slimeball and will somehow do some dastardly thing that I just can't see this being the end of anything but just another page of a great story. Emp & Valk video was really dope. I wish we could see more of this stuff in the game without needing to go through I'm assuming minor annoying/time consuming ways. The thing that threw me off a bit was how the text was paced but it wasn't anything detrimental to the viewing experience, I really wanna see Valk get the biggest upset. EMP is really here for all the smoke and refuses to back down. Really makes you think what she could be planning if Japan goes well, either way I doubt this'll happen but if one of them stay then that's a huge player back into the women's division and would stir up a lot of noise. Especially amped for how these two do the match, I may be hyping myself up too much for this but fuck it yolo. The press conference with Nate, Quartz, and Dupree is something we've seen before in OCW but with the right flare and touches you can really knock it out of the park. And I think that's exactly what this segment did, it really gave a very serious tone to it because Nate wants revenge while Quartz wants redemption. The match that should've main evented Lution we finally now get to see. Part of me really wants to see a Nate Ortiz CCW title run to see what the downfall of that would be. The Marcus and Jasmin video was interesting as on one hand I really enjoyed the random pop up dude and what that is potentially leading to, also the fact that we see a much more human side of things with Marcus. He didn't hate everyone in GOAT Academy, he is always used to bearing the weight of all the stuff most of the time. One thing I wasn't fond of however was the length of the video, idk if maybe the text went a bit too slow for my speed? But if it was trimmed up here and there and potentially some different dialogue breakups instead of the "oh where's the wine!" Would've helped it out a bunch. Jasmin is beginning to really show how fluid the world of OCW really is. I love the constant interaction between her and every character really it seems within the women's division. I wish she wasn't in TWC tbh as it doesn't feel like it fits her, what I do like about the pairing lately with her and Marcus is perhaps we can have Jasmin bring Marcus into the good light hehe. We've seen mentions of it where she tells Marcus that he doesn't need to talk any shit to Harris cause the man has defeated him already, it's these small touches that really separate characters and show the more human side of things. I hope this TWC stint with Jasmin is short-lived cause fuck TWC, fuck John Carter, and especially fuck John Carter again. #FreeTre

Nate vs. Quartz is pretty nutty. That entrance back and the look Nate had? MONEY. Mans looks ready to get his revenge and I’m for it to even further the Quartz legacy/reign. Or imagine in the year 2022 Nate Ortiz becomes CCW World Champion? Imagine the fucking madness god damn. Plus to finally get the proper 1v1 rematch and we all know the Japanese athletic commission is just gonna ban John Carter from Japan to ASSURE there is no fuckery. Can’t wait for it tbh, I think this will be a solid rematch and fun mini feud on the way to DCTNY while also perhaps gonna totally rattle the CCW title scene! Also let’s keep talking about Red Sun Rising and it’s not even the go home show for that yet! The fact we’re also gonna see Drago in the year 2022? Mhmmmmm I’m loving it. Sadly the sexiest Frenchman must be a sacrificial lamb to the god of war it is what it is. I’m really excited to see how that unfolds as this is a ONCE IN A LIFETIME sort of ordeal. The Valk return was so fire tbh. The camerawork, general area, and all the small touches that were added are always chef kiss but we all know what to expect from Valk. Just like I’m sure the Buried Alive match is gonna be something to see. You have such a heated rivalry that I could see this match actually main eventing with the notoriety, the tension, the history, all of it. Outside of kayfabe I could only imagine the production stuff that match will also have depending on how deep they dive into the madness you can explore. I’m feeling like I wanted more with this Aries/Jacob Trance vs. Uncrowned, this is definitely the match atm where I wish we could’ve seen a bit of a more unique/longer build up. But obviously with timetables and what people are dealing with stuff can’t always line up like that. The matchup though? It’s bound to be fire. With everything that is slowly getting announced I think the card itself is gonna be potential card of the year. Speaking about Uncrowned both Ev & Doc’s promos were so so so fire. I loved the back and forth and intensity that Doc had with OWEN. The rematch that were bound to get is gonna be fireworks again. With plenty of time to go and see how intense this feud between DOC & OWEN gets it’s only gonna get better. I also need Tony to sit here and absolute smack the piss out of Harvey and wake this man up. Bro is hitting people in the dick now? Smh. The KC Barrett post match promo was absolutely phenomenal. Probably the perfect way to take a loss and just make it mean something so much more than adds into an existing feud. Also a feel good moment to see Deaver pick up a huge spirit booster after the rough L against Sanctum.

The cameras pick up inside an NYC penthouse apartment as they pan all around the apartment. A calendar that goes into view has an “x” on the date which shows, “September 13th, 2022.” A clock on the wall shows it is currently 10:37 am, the cameras keep panning around as we see an individual in a bed asleep. Long brown hair is draped over the person's face and a suitcase can be seen on the floor with miscellaneous clothing and wrestling gear all ruffled with its top opened up. A t-shirt can be shown with “Primero Takes Over Mexico City” on top of all the clothing, alongside a ticket that has “Scumchester: Takes Over Mexico City! August 21st, 2022.” The person in the bed turns over not revealing their face as the cameras pick up to nearby keys jingling. The keys sound like they’re being rummaged through until the doorknob jiggles a little. As the doorknob unlocks and twists open the cameras drop down as another figure walks into the apartment. Clicking noises ricochet off the ground as the individual walks closer to the sleeping person. They begin picking up the scattered clothes and wrestling gear on the floor as they begin humming a song in Spanish. The cameras pick back up and reveal El Parca’s mother, Isabella. Isabella gathers all the clothing and places it in nearby dressers as the cameras stay fixated on her. She roams around the apartment like she’s been here hundreds of times. She sees not much in the apartment has changed as she calls out to her son. Isabella: You didn’t think you should inform your family you were coming home? Maybe you didn’t wanna feel embarrassed by the constant questioning, the confusion, the pain? Maybe you were scared? Wondering where all your family had gone even though you pushed us away… my poor boy. The cameras cut to a different view as we can see that Parca’s eyes are open and we only see his eyes. He lay there motionless as his mother continues on. Isabella: Maybe it’s the fact I took your mask away? Maybe because you’re angry at me, angry at your father, or even angry at the entire world. We- I shouldn’t have let you leave home by yourself. I should’ve been with you, or I should’ve had one of your cousins by your side sooner. Isabella begins making her way back toward Parca as she pulls a nearby chair out and sits in it as she’s facing Parca, who still has his back turned to her. Isabella: I was lucky when you found Mark and I knew you were safe with him. I knew he would choose your best interests at hand regardless of what you thought, hence why I finally am here Miguel. I can’t keep watching my son go through all of this alone when you’re not alone mijo. Parca turns over and looks at his mother, the cameras not seeing his face Isabella looks shocked he had been listening to her the entire time. She puts a hand up to her mouth curious about how much her son has heard her say. Isabella: Miguel, I didn’t know- Parca: You didn’t know I was listening? That’s what a lot of people think mom. They think I don’t listen, think I just make irrational decisions without thinking about what’s next. And y’know what? They’re right. Parca sits up in his bed as Isabella continues to look at her son. Parca: You’re right, I’m angry, I’m sad, I’m heartbroken, I’m everything mother. You took away my mask, telling me you couldn’t stand to see what I’d become. Talking about how Dennis this, Dennis that, you and everyone just don’t seem to get it do you? Parca: I have done horrible things, I have done things I don’t want to think about I don’t want to remember. I can’t change that, I can’t turn back time and redo those things. Dennis though? He helped me get to where I needed. He helped me be able to provide the life you, papa, and EVERYONE back home benefit from. Parca puts his face in his hands as he let’s out a stressed sigh. Isabella stands up and sits on the bed as she rubs his back and brings him closer placing his head on her shoulder. Isabella: You’re always going to be my baby boy Miguel. I miss you, your father misses you, and I don’t want you to keep doing what you're doing to yourself. When will enough be enough Miguel? When you can’t walk? When you wake up in pain every day? Parca: And you don’t think I miss you all? I wish I could be home, but you and everybody else know exactly what I’m doing. I have business to handle and whether you approve of it or not I am a man of my word. Parca: Maybe Elliot Parker was right, I have sins to atone for, I’ve made a lot of mistakes and it’s not time to go home yet. Who knows, maybe my first sin to atone for will be at RIOT 591, maybe management will rip away my North American Championship. Parca sits up and looks at his mother again. Parca: That’s the thing, mom, they don’t believe in me, but you know who does? Dennis. I lost the World Championship? Dennis took care of me. Dennis has been by my side regardless of win, loss, or destruction. Isabella: As much as I wish that I could get you to change your mind I respect your decision. I should’ve done better for you Miguel, I should’ve been there regardless if I agreed with the decision or not. I’m sorry, but as a mother, I can’t watch you go down this path. Isabella stands up from the bed and makes her way to the door. Isabella: When you’re ready to come home and slow down, you know me and your father will always welcome you back Miguel. We’ll always have our eye on you baby, please be safe, for me. Parca begins tearing up as his mother opens the door and walks out as he can’t give an answer. He lays back down staring at the ceiling as the cameras fade to black.
