  1. I wouldn’t say doc is an overly abundant face atm. I think he (the handler) is just finding his groove and is instead of playing on actual face/heel dynamics is now doing what most wrestlers do nowadays. I’d say he’s probably more along the lines of a “tweener” but doc will always have that baby face feel since that’s what we love him as.
  2. Alright let's start this bitch up shall we? Also, please know I am going off of stuff that is on the top of my head while I reread & rewatch. Anthony Baker vs TY Sparks This match really took us all over the place. First, I honestly thought Sparky was gonna just make quick work of Baker (sry Baker.) But holy wow, not only was the match really good but I think this showed us from a handler aspect Ty needs to practice on Xbox more. His match with Antonio at R2G was very good but resil is switched this time so hop on Xbox more. Good win for Baker, those kneeling yes kicks were done 3,400 times but we love it. Flojo v Blaine LETS FUCKING GOOO FLOJO!!!! LETS GOOOO. Okay, marked out time to be professional. What a god damn match tho huh? Both competitors really brought it and both this match & the match previously brought up were really well done. They were super fun to watch, brought a consistent uphill battle, and although I was super pulling for Flojo I thought Blaine had it. But YET AGAIN WHAT AN UPSET!! I am super proud of Flojo winning this match, I think Gooch has finally found her groove with the look & play style. Excellent job to both of you in the match once again. BIG DADDY LEE COMING HOME! Althought I haven't wrote with or worked with Lee. The handler is a super good dude. This promo was awesome, the entrance also popped me with outside knowledge. Flufflee is here and I'm for it. But, I also loved the back and forth between him and Wrex. Wrex poking some buttons and seeing if he can get Lee to tick. Lee has to remember the wars he went through with Wrex and come to his senses. But then again Wrex also laying down the message showing he's here for a fight tonight with Danny. Can't wait for the match. Our Hero JCS & Dupree Promo Two studs, legends, and GOATs bantering is amazing. We get to see that Dupree is hellbent on having CQC defend the tag team titles which you already know will be a good time. Was an all around good promo to read and the "Illegal Obesity" popped me. Good stuffs. Antonio is simping and is simping real hard. The visualization in this promo impresses. I felt like I was there while reading it, Ev just getting upset Terra is leaving mans on seen. Yiiiikes, how could Terra do this to the boy. Ev is a good man and deserves better damnit! Callbacks to Cow Gang were also very nice as well hehe. Wrex v Danny Watts Danny really showed up tonight. I didn't know who to take for this match at first. On one hand, Wrex seems off in a way I don't know what it exactly is but then on another hand, I think people are just continuously getting hungrier and more aggressive towards their goals. Huge win by the rookie Danny, beating a former World Champion and Turmoils #1 is a big notch on his belt. Perhaps one day he and I can run it back but for something flashy hehe. HOLLYWOOD USA IS HERE AND I LOVE IT! Another very very good pairing. Cort & Jehst both in, and out of the ring are so impressive. Both caws look AMAZING, both guys can write their asses off and the tag division just got a LOT more interesting with this team pairing up! Lucha Country definitely sends their regards Hollywood USA! Terra is also simping? Or.. Ok ok ok Terra maybe isn't what I thought she was. Perhaps the two need to figure out the individual problems and unite together to help eachother. Big run on but I don't care. Good promo. Shephard & Leo Grimm v Hollywood USA One of Two tag team matches on tonights card. And yet again, this match did not disappoint. Some really funny moments when Leo could not manage to hit Jehst. Also loved the HU attires the two guys were sporting they looked very clean and slick. Leo did take a big chunk of the damage but he was in the ring with some very tough guys. Good tag match all around was pulling for Hollywood USA to get the dub but Pride Champ Shephard pulled it off! Danny Watts Post Match Promo Danny taking it home and burying Wrex hard. You did beat a former world champ but undersold him homie. Wrestling 101 and you disregarded it fugn rooky! The win is now redacted and is canon that Wrex won. CQC Momentary Meeting We see before the main event that CQC will both be there. Rust & Quartz just eyeing one another down as they both know personal issues aside, they got business to handle tonight. I really love both guys tbh, I think the way the separation is going down isn't the most ideal way I'd want it. But, that's wrestling you can't always get it the way you want it. Either way these two are sure shot HOFers in the tag division lets see how they fare in the ME! Main Event & CQC Ending of show Promo Although Lucha Country was massively hungry. CQC just had too much buffet for Mark Reese & Me. The match itself was a banger to play, felt like a real fight and a real rush so many times. Quartz & Rust yet again prove why they are THE BEST tag team OCW has seen! I said what I said jay you can't stop me! The one thing that did feel bitter sweet was CQC riding off into the sunset. Although we know these guys are going to continue their singles runs and go onto so many bigger things they did have a huge mark in OCW. Quartz & Rust have always been the two most helpful people to me ever since I have joined. To finally have gotten an opportunity to work with them both in the ring was an absolute blast. The tag division although uncertain right now I think more than ever will be okay because of what CQC laid down for the teams there are now. Now it's up to the current teams to pick the ball up that CQC put down and run with it. Excellent fucking show top to bottom. Didn't cover some things cause I wanted to actually post this one without fucking it up. I love all the stuff we got going on in OCW and I'm glad to be apart of this community. I can't wait to see where we go from here I know everyone is hungry and is doing the very best they can. Stay excellent y'all abd remember.. IT'S FIGHTING SEASON!!!!!!
  3. The scene opens where we see an alarm clock. The clock has the time 1:35 PM. As the view pans back and we can see more of the room we see a sleeping body on a bed in the corner of the room. Pizza boxes, assorted cans of beer & seltzers, and Big Mama's Country Grill takeout boxes are scattered around. As the person sleeping on the bed sits up we can see a mask half off and half on the head. The person having their back to the camera cannot be seen as a big groan is let out. The person fixes the mask and turns around looking at the boxes, booze, and takeout boxes. As we can finally see the figure it is clearly El Parca. El Parca glances over to the alarm clock and immediately jumps up. El Parca: Oh shit, oh shit, oh my god I can't believe what time it is! This is why I told Reese we couldn't party too much but nooooo, it's "Cinco de Fryo er I mean Mayo!" El Parca frantically jumps up tossing boxes, cans, and random things rummaging for something. Finally, we can see an iPhone get plucked out of a small pile of clothes near his alarm clock. 5 MISSED CALLS, 13 TEXTS "Aisu" As Parca starts reading the texts his teacher was showing a different side. Aisu: Answer. Aisu: Training today right? Aisu: You're late.. Aisu: Don't let the CQC loss beat you down too much. I told you they'd be difficult. Aisu: I am going to assume you're sleeping.. I'll be over soon if I don't hear from you in a couple hours. Parca slides the iMessage texts to the right seeing when Aisu sent the texts. Parca sees the time he sent them were at 11:25 AM. El Parca sees it is over the two hour point as he jumps up yet again trying to find his training bag. El Parca: No, no, no!! WHERE DID I PUT IT?! The luchador starts throwing everything insight trying to find his bag. Oh my god, he's going to kill me how am I going to explain this? Finally, El Parca stops rushing around as he realizes his afternoons fate is sealed. Aisu is bound to be on the way and the luchador is going to need to explain himself. Suddenly a knock on the door.. El Parca stares at the door like a child who is fearful that he didn't take the chicken out to dethaw soon enough.. then, another knock passes and he realizes he must get up from the bed. As El Parca opens the door, there stands his trainer and somewhat friend Aisu.. Aisu, surprisingly does not have his normal angry scowl on but instead looks relieved that his luchador student is ok. El Parca opens the door up wider as he motions for Aisu to come in. El Parca: Sorry about the mess, and uh.. sorry about missing training too. But, y'know it was kinda Cinco de Mayo and Reese insisted we have a good time to get over the tough CQC loss.. so.. my bad. Aisu is looking all over the apartment as if a mother who is visiting her son for the first time. Aisu: You uh.. need to clean. How can you expect to pick yourself up from the loss with a mess like this? El Parca looks absolutely stunned as he sits down on a chair. Parca: Umm.. well gotta say, did not expect that, that is for sure.. Aisu continues walking around the apartment, as Parca stands up again and starts picking up the trash he and Reese made last night. The two begin talking as Aisu starts helping Parca pick up the trash. As they continue cleaning up they start laughing with one another as the scene starts to fade to black..

  4. Wow. What a god damn promo. I love this man.
  5. MAIN EVENT TIME BAYBEEEEEE. Rust Cohle looks ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! Love the look, love the song, love everything about it. Kass, although I don't exactly love him I can't say the man looks fucking great. Also, love seeing Emp wearing the title to the ring again. One thing that I did think after watching is I wish we could've seen this match when Kass was in his more or so "prime" of competing. But nonetheless the commentary, beautifully done by Angus & B17 was a nice lil twist. And then obviously Rusty came out victorious and man.. that championship sure does look great with him holding it. Lution is around the corner and the CCW world title scene is surely interesting right now with probably the best storyline in OCW.
  6. Alright one thing that I'm starting to get confused about is this women's division. Is Flojo a face now? One moment is seemed like she was the heel and then ashley was the face? Now Ashley is aligning herself with Blaine? But also WHY would you do that when Blaine could snap her in half? I mean it's interesting don't get me wrong, perhaps I have misread or not read it properly but I feel like there's a lot of alignment switching around. And we aren't the Big Show now are we? But regardless I digress, the beatdown on Flojo was sad and my girl done had her back break a whole windshield, hopefully whomevers car that is has glass insurance.
  7. I know this may come off as gloating but I was really happy with the match with Danny. As a handler & caw Danny has improved immensely over this season. It's seriously only a matter of time before he decapitates his opponents heads until he gets another title shot which I am looking forward to seeing. His future is bright and I can't wait to see where/what he does for the remainder of the season.
  8. Leo Grimm promo is awesome as always. Really love seeing Leo get into this comfortableness with his voice promos I really think it helps elevate the character push his message across. I also am really happy to see where the Jehst & Grimm storyline is going it's probably one of my more favorite storylines to read/watch and I do hope these guys do get to throw paws cause I know they both would put on a banger of a match.
  9. Johnny Millionaire vs Thomas Archer was... interesting. Definitely don't see some of the MOTN comments from just the match. I'd say the video itself was the best video produced for this show. Doc Green coming out to throw around Maxx (poor Maxx) and even the odds for Johnny was real good. I will say although I love both handlers the outcome for that match was something truly unexpected. But that is what comp is all about I suppose.
  10. Jordan Echo v Elijah Sanders was a real good match. Really happy to see Jordan get his first win in OCW congratulations Jordan. Also, Elijah put up one hell of a fight and although I'm not too keen on the basic young lion look it is a really interesting gimmick to see an OG, HOFer do since most rookies that come in nowadays look like they're established wrestlers lol.
  11. this is a huge dub
  12. Gonna be a hottake but probably MOTN runner up was definitely Danny Watts v The Mantis. I truthfully (sorry Mantis) thought Danny was gonna come into this match and just eat Mantis. BUT WOW!! When I seen Mantis have that mega damage lead and just not giving a fuck about rev advantage (props btw i fucks with that) this man was just never saying die. The Mantis character from that match grew more onto me. But Jesus Christ Danny, you almost fucked it so bad and had you lost I never ever ever EVER! Would've let your 5'3 self live it down. Mantis just by a few fingertips almost had the victory but unfortunately Watts powerbombed the shit outta him and then decapitated him. Impressive match gentlemen.
  13. Soloman Caine's promo was very nice. I fucking love when people do voice promos, I know it's a nerve wracking thing to do for some to do them but man; when people who can do them and do em good? They are gold. That is probably the best way to buildup a character it just gives you more lifelike features. You get to hear the voice, the emotion, and all that sweet jazz. Very good promo Caine, can't wait to see what happens with this Joshua Tucker experiment.
  14. I was not to keen on the Johnny Millionaire v Jordan Echo match. I like the fact that management is allowing somebody who has just joined get booked so quickly. That is for sure a plus, but damn Echo.. my mans got eaten alive. Johnny Millionaire was relieving all his stress on this man and I felt like the towel should've been thrown in. But, that is comp for you. Can't avoid it there are just gonna be those matches that people get the absolute piss beaten out of em.
  15. Empress carrying the CCW title wasn't a bad thing either. I think that was dope ESPECIALLY with the entrance Kass & her used. Also, tying into Kasstianity, I fuck with Sparky being a little bit unloyal and complaining about Empress. Is Kasstianity gonna lose another member or will Sparky straighten up? BUT THEN! You got B17 with the case and all the other 4 men besides Kass who want that title. Gonna be a real interesting buildup to Lution with this match but I think the CCW title needs it and so does Turmoil tbh. This feud/story has probably been one of the most enjoyable things in OCW right now. Written, video, and matchwise all participants haven't let down.
  16. Tag team matches we're y'know, one end on one spectrum the other on the other end. You had LC v The Hattons basically turn into a slaughter cause Reese & I separated the Hattons, then you have B2O v GC and that shit was a FIGHT! AC Cobra showing why IT'S FIGHTING SEASON!!! I popped hard af when Cobra made H2O use his resil. Wouldn't hate Golden Cobra duking it out again to see who truly should face Harvey. But! Neat to see Lucha Country gets to face CQC or whomever is gonna defend the Tag Titles.
  17. Leo Grimm v Aisu was a god damn dog fight. It's at times like this where I wish the handler of Leo would've brought in a more "real life" type wrestler so then the loss wouldn't be as "bad". Plus, WHY DIDN'T YOU GO FOR THE PIN!?!? WHY TWO FINS HOOT WHY!!!! But damn. That match was real good to watch. Main Event was pretty fucking fire as well that was a nice TV match, and I wouldn't mind seeing Cort v Shepard again cause I love me some Cort Marshall brother.
