Bring back Asylum so I can bring back Bedlam!

I agree with Dupree. There is no point bringing Asylum back. That had exactly the same amount of comments as Ambition does right now. Plus we were hardly getting any content for it.

 

It's the same thing time and time and time again. People always ask for two shows then when we get it it's the same people who put all the content in for one show do the same again with their alts.

 

It's exactly the same for the championship belts. I did my best before I left to lower the number of belts we had so we had more contenders and now everyone keeps bringing them back. Our roster isn't that big I really don't see the point.

 

People begged for the tag belts to come back and look now. We have had about one decent team who has held them for nearly a year. Honestly a waste of time bringing them back on top of more stuff we don't need.

 

I don’t see the point of a rookie show anymore or making an Ambition Championship. I would keep Ambition but open it up to everyone as a trial and space the shows out. I would honestly stop bringing in so many belts as right now we have…

International Championship

 

Hardcore Championship

 

EX Championship

 

Tag Team Championship

When I was the GM I combined the TV and NA belts together to make the International championship for a reason. Our roster isn’t huge, the more belts we have the fewer contenders we have. This gives us the same matches over and over. We honestly never needed the tag belts to come back. No one has really made an effort to fight the A-Team and they would have gotten over without them.

 

There was no need for the Hardcore belt to come back that was another rash decision and we certainly don’t need yet another belt. I thought it would be cool finally have a woman’s belt for the bombshells but really no one does much with them anymore either. Even the EX doesn’t have a lot going for it in terms of contenders anymore.

 

Most of you probably won’t agree with me but I would much rather see more contenders than champions. It would make champions mean more again and it would make people work harder to beat the champions. This would make shows more entertaining. This would allow more people to move up the rankings and it would also stop the same people going for the same belt.

Ex is necessary because being an Ex guy is a handicap--I'm one of very few people who can compete with the rest of the roster with the handicap... So the ex title is necessary for those guys. There's plenty of Ex guys.

 

IMO it makes less sense that there's a hardcore title outside of for the different match type and that was made to be Asylums title.

 

There needs to be an ex title like there needs to be a women's title. I think The bombshell division can't get off the ground because they have nothing o fight for.

I agree that the Ex, Tag and Ambition/Tv title are pointless.

 

The Hardcore title serves a purpose though, it actually allows for a different match type, so we dont always watch 1 v 1 and tag matches on the shows.

 

Ex has been dead along time, Suda is doing his thing, but carrying around a dead belt, same as Ateam, all 3 members are over without the deadweight of the titles that there are hardly any challangers for.

 

It’s really about time we retire the tag team championships. No disrespect to the champions at all but I think the A-Team can just be as great without them. All you guys are doing is holding a trophy. The same thing happened with Smythe and Malu when they were the champs.

 

Please don’t bring in the Ambition title because it’s really not needed. We have had a few impressive rookies pull through and I am going to name them. Michael Hollywood, Aidan Ryan, Chris Moore and Eric Scofield. Tobin Frost is making an impression too they don’t need a rookie belt. Look at what happened when we had an Ambition belt last time. We got Dale Del Rio winning and that was it. It’s really not needed.

 

EX and Hardcore comes down to personal preference. The Hardcore championship opens up more challengers and we do get hardcore matches. The belt would need to be on the line every week though like it was back in 1999. The EX on the other hand is unique too as we get high flying action but like you said champ. We don’t have many contenders.

 

Three belts with the roster we have got would be perfect. Open up Ambition to everyone and depending on the gm’s maybe even change the day it goes up. We don’t need a rookie show anymore. If we had a huge roster then it would be great and by huge I mean like it was back in 1999. This gives the new guys more to work with too and even guys like myself.

You make great points too. Like I said already, the Hardcore and EX belts all comes down to personal preference.

 

Some people prefer the hardcore fighting and some prefer the high flying action. I would choose EX over Hardcore just because I don’t feel the Hardcore belt is necessary. EX does have less contenders and I agree with Parker on that but I enjoy watching high flying matches and I enjoyed what you guys have done so far even with the lack of competition for the EX. Hardcore matches is just weapons that don’t really connect. It really is personal preference as Parker probably feels the other way around with the EX.

 

As far as a bombshell belt goes it would be different. I would personally like to see people developing the characters first though and if we get people taking it seriously then I am all for it. However it won’t work with two people. I think a good storyline and character background with a few decent people that are committed. Then I could see a bombshell belt coming into play.

Completely Disagree about the tag titles, don't retire it because no one can win it and there's no reason for tag teams without a title and there are plenty of tag teams.

I personally think you could easily combine the EX Title and the Hardcore title. There's really no need for both. Basically you just open the EX Title up to all Heavyweights and below, and add in stipulation matches for every single defense while also having it defended weekly. There's an easy problem solved. Both titles have a lot of history, but there is no point in having BOTH of them.

 

The TV Title is completely unnecessary. The Ambition guys don't need a belt at all. The International Title needs to be used a bit more as an elevation title for these guys, so I think lowering the bar to Lower Midcard/Midcard would be the best fit for that secular title. The International Title could also use MORE challengers. It sames to be the same 3 people competing for these belts, and it's honestly getting boring. Bringing in the TV belt just complicates things, and adds yet another belt to a thinned out roster.

 

I personally love having the Tag belts, but the teams need to be more active. As Suda has pointed out; we have a decent amount of teams. The only problem is...NO ONE BOOKS THEM, and they don't work together. Where are my tag matches?

I think the problem with the EX belt it has been passed to so many people who in a enviroment where it would be a belt that people really desire,never would have gotten it. And altough it always had allot of optional opponents,most of them were all blank charachters with no personality or charisma. It has kinda been the belt for the guys nobody really wanted near the other belts. Hazard, Djack etc.

 

Also incase of the current EX storyline with me and Suda, it also doesnt help when we head into another 5 a 6 week of Riot before a PPV pops up,spreading the story a little thin. Granted ill admit ive been slacking a bit.

 

But I think the big problem overall problem, not just with Ambition but OCW's problem in general is that we have no viewers. We, the contenders, we , the guys making the promo's , are basicly performing amongst ourself and fellow contenders. Shouldnt come to a big suprise that one of the only time we spark a big discussion is when something goes wrong or someone gets upset.

 

Movie stars or stars from big series, i hear them say it so many times..that never watch they're own shows or hit movies. You make content for other people to watch. Dping and creating content for your own fun will only get you so far. Taking on the role of creating the story,working it out,scheduling the match,playing the match and turning it in and then to also take on the role of watching it, creating interesting and dynamic discussion,wich will include saying things you dont like , wich in return will be confliction because you might have to face that guy later down the line is simply an amount of effort you can only keep going for so long.

 

We need viewers. People who just watch our shit and comment , so we , the players can focus on making the show interesting instead of despretly waiting for some forced discussion.
