Also, this thread is officially the OCW Royal Rumble. High spots after high spots, long rest down times, surprise returns, ganging up to eliminate people, and general mayhem.

 

Our Hero is a crazy old man who ran OCW into the Ground and still did a better job than Leonheat.

Our Hero has the most over Inanimate Object in the history of OCW A Foam Rubber shark AKA LORD SHARK

Our Hero Has Defeated Parker A Former world Champion and hall of Famer while wearing a "Battle Snuggie"

Our Hero has Defeated Parker A Former World Champion while wearing a "Kombat Kilt"

Our Hero used to have a Personal Assistant who was former MOSSAD.

Our Hero used to have a Security force called the Sensational Security Force Alpha or SSFA.

Our Hero enjoyed PB&J sandwiches without the crust.

Lastly Our Hero was imprisoned on False Tax Evasion Charges by Guy Fausto who led us to find out that Leonheart had some kind of hand in this.

Our Hero is currently serving his sentence in what used to be a Federal Resort Prison which has now turned into something of a nightmare supermax, again Leonheart is somehow implicated.

 

In short Our Hero is a complex man, doing all he can. Son of a Plumber.

I love how just because everyone is of a similar opinion you assume you're right and that I've been verbally decimated or something. I'm still thoroughly convinced that I'm right, I've just realized there's no point in arguing with a majority like this. Cody, you're arguing with the majority of the people here, about the culture here.

 

This is one case in which I'll say majority rules. If a group of people all feel that this is a balance of story and sticks, you can't sit here kicking and screaming saying "You're all wrong and I'm right!" because the people here are what make that culture just that, a culture.

 

It's worth noting that you've still yet to answer Dan's question. How do you make the title interesting? 4 minute squash matches are interesting and entertaining? If that's the case, where do you get off saying me losing all the time is boring? What about everyone who will go up against you as a dominant champ?

 

Do you realize the folly in your logic that losing is uninteresting, but you think someone who goes straight for the win as fast as possible should be the face of the OCW. If all of your matches are five minute squashes, how is it ever going to be interesting?

 

Clearly, people are sitting here impressed by your ability to win. People acknowledge it but they're not impressed and they don't enjoy it from a spectator prospective, so how is what you're going to do any different than this feud I had with Suda that you have said went on a month too long?

I'm not trying to argue with you all about how to run OCW. In fact, on that I was conceding, I said take the shot back. Move me down the card, whatever. You're right, in this instance majority rules. I'm speaking generally about efeds I think the competition has to be there to make the stories compelling. If everything builds to one final moment, and that one final moment is a let down, it leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

 

As far as making the belt interesting, there are people who can go up against me and make it a good match. It's happened plenty of times before. It's not like I squash everyone I face. And those are the people I'd personally want to work with. Find one of them and build a story from there. So I can't answer the question yet, because I don't know exactly what I'd do at this moment in time, and I'm not going to focus on figuring that out because that's diverting my attention away from winning the belt in the first place which is counter productive.

 

Also, if you'll recall this whole thing started when I said 3 matches on this show were the same fighters in different stipulations. 2/3 had the exact same ending. That's what's boring. You can go on losing every match from here to the rest of time Bobby, if you're fighting someone different I don't know you're going to lose before hand everytime. But you got squashed, won a fluke title match, and then got squashed again. And because of that, despite thinking your RP's were good, I couldn't buy into them and that's what made the story lackluster to me.
