Kaaang, the brawler perk doesnt get you up from a finisher :( I agree with Bauer about how we should use the powerhouse perk. Wonder Posted March 7, 2008 Posted March 7, 2008 so many things to say about this weeks Riot... but I`m gonna hold off the wonder report till tomorro morning... as I really don`t have the energy to write it tonight... quick Notes... Leon did whore that punch, but it`s literally the slowest strike in the game... any other strike can cancel it... and it`s not against FPR to cancel strike with a strike... Bold has perhaps the cheesiest moveset in OCW... and he mashes buttons faster than humanly possible... if PEE STEE is dragging him... he shouldn`t be able to strike in grapple... yet he does... kinda suspect... we really should have the CAW police looking into styles and approving of combinations... off the top of my head... VV and Crowe are powerhouse/tech an odd combo especially for jobbers... Double A and Seth are powerhouses but they`re half the size of a Mayhem, Ministry or Kage... Mayhem and Kage can no sell a finisher... they`ve made the hall of fame as monster heels... they have slow moving power movesets... people are picking styles based on cheese of perk factor as opposed to what their CAW appears to be... it needs to be contained before it ruins 08... Wonder report is coming tomorro... apparently it`s gonna be good... Here is the easyst way to avoid them and make them compleetly useless and all the whining will end lol. Only one perk can be active at a time so as soon as you hit your finisher or before it,activate your perk first,if you can so the other cant use his. And i agree with Smythe when some perk combinations should be looked at. A powerhouse/tech is an absolute overpowered and unrealistic combination and having 2nd grapple immunity AND no selling finisher is unfair,if you so desperatly want that combo you should be restricted to Tech Sound. It belittles any finisher and is just a cheap way of not losing, I know you can counter this by using your perk first but still I think we should be required to use the powerhouse perk mid match. I personally use it as an entertainment facotr in my matches. Nate landed a strike combo on me and i got pissed and got up and rushed him. http://i.imgur.com/zP10f.gif

I already told you that some people were misusing some moves in dm and that if i wanted i could make a cas that would annoy the heck out of people just for the win. Also about that Rock punch if its laggy its one of the hardest punches too counter and it has a long reach. So it may be slow but if you measure your distance right its bitch ass too counter (especially with lag) and you cant tyler out of it. Also why is this whining suddenly beginning when leonheart runs away from a perk. I mean I hit a finisher last tuesday on chris ryder (finally) then his perk got in the way of pinning him (didnt have my own perk stored) and the match dragged on longer then it should have done. Truth be told Ryder offered a rematch, but I denied twas a good match and maybe would have been good too end it at when ryder used the highflyer perk (Just from a viewers perspective). But I didn't hear people cry about a match then. 2k8? What i screwed AA out of a match by running out of the ring? I re watched the match and yes i did run out the ring to get away since i was going to go for a ariel. Seriously don't see the big deal with it but whatever. As for just wanting to win, not really Brad. If i just wanted to win i would pick up toe kick finisher on red and orange but i have never done that even if that is now a rule. If it wasn't for my feud with Smythe i would probably be inactive with AJ.
