The Air Posted March 7, 2008 Posted March 7, 2008 Limiting perks is wrong... 08 does require people to show a great deal of responsibility in terms of perks tho... for instance... every match I`m in I can choose to hit someone with their own finisher... once I have my flashing finisher... but I haven`t used it... I can also hide behind the ref anytime I want... haven`t done it... but I can also remove the turnbuckle... I do that all the time... and it sells... cause that`s something someone like me would do to gain the advantage... Like you said if it is used with a great deal of responsibility. Nick Kage Posted March 7, 2008 Posted March 7, 2008 the only reason showman got the rule it did, was because it gives a CLEAR advantage over every other perk. it is so hard to hit a finsiher now and you wanna allow showman to use a finsiher whenever they want? showman would never lose! they would win all their matches because they could end it when they want unlike everyone else. that is unfair. the perks are all unbalanced. the best way to balance them is to remove them and at that point we might as well go back to 07. personally the way i look at it if people rampage and it looks wrong then they shouldn't be powerhouse or powerhouse shouldn't be their prime perk. IE: Mayhem/Kage/RD/Malu these can no sell a finsiher. Double A he shouldn't. to me this means double A should not be a powerhouse. or instead of being powerhouse/brawler he should be brawler/powerhouse so he still gets the moves but he cant rampage. instead he would do the strike perk which i think fits him better.
