Ok in the end of last year the only thing that made Kage and Fausto differnet from every is using chain moves. Now that everyone has figured it out... the games a different story.

When 08 came out I told everyone that it was NOT a good move but at the end of the day people decided to change and if people now want to change back I would say it's too late. Just wait for TNA and see what we get with that, if TNA is a bitch then we have to consider something. At the end of the day when we voted in favour of 08 it was turkeys voting for christmas.

The part Nate didnt like was the part Mace marked for..lol..it was supposed to be a 'you got up from the first one,try and get up from the 2nd one' kind of spot i was going for, as the 1st put him on special, if he didnt get straight up i wouldnt have hit him again.

You say how Kage and guy relied on chain moves in 07 bold?

 

I personally don't think that was why they were good at 07 (there were MANY chain guys in 07, hell even heaton was one).

 

Guy and Kage were both really good at reversing (which actually took skill in 07), Kage had a very fitting moveset, Guy had good attack and defend strategies.

 

I don't think chainning moves had much to do with 07 success, as guys like Nate, me, RD, and Spoon were good without doing that too often.

 

BTW cross this may have been posted also as a heads up for people who haven't done their lution matches yet to keep ethics in mind no matter how the game plays. Lution has to be as polished a product as possible, especially after the questionable riot

we also have to think about ways to address ethics in 08 and future games. people should be thinking about ways to do this.

 

thats what this post is also addressing, start thinking about what we can do to make things better if in fact 08 and eventually 09 is our game.

God I hate bad ethics. That's the worst. I would rather see someone blatantly break FPR than have bad ethics through the whole match.

We can't really help ethics. I don't see a method to police it.

 

It comes down to a persons personality. If you're a cunt your ethics will suck ass and if you're a good guy then your ethics generally shine through.

 

Some people just don't know what they're doing is ethically wrong and people need to point this out, I know a lot of people will only point out a straight FPR mistake rather than bad ethics.

 

We also need to tell them in a way such as "hey man you shouldn't..." rather than:

 

"oh what the fuck!" - Ryder.

no need to flame i did not point anyone out in this article so if you have a guilty side and its showing you may have a problem....

 

 

just start thinking about OCW and how to address the ethics issues we have and how to make 08 tna and even 09 a better game for ocw.
