Smythe D. Wonder Posted December 1, 2008 Posted December 1, 2008 this PPV was kinda kick ass.... Tyro KD was a decent... no idea how in the hell KD won tho... he was so far behind in the beginning... I didn't watch Braddock and Fearo it was just too dark on my screen... AMart using Leon's RKO is quite disturbing... Note to OCW people... if you decide to take time off... your finisher doesn't take a break with you... if someone else starts using it... you change finishers... your fault for taking a break... Omega Dragon's Caw has evolved from a crappy mess... to a markable character... the way we got to the end result of this match turned me off... we'll just say I didn't Mark for the title change... when we switch over to 09 I'm gonna miss the hardcore title the most... besides my tag titles of course... If Valmont doesn't win most improved wrestler... someone will be kicked in the balls... Mace and Kip turned into a damn Snoozefest fast after I realized it was a work... Kip has Mace beat 12 minutes into the match... but doesn't attempt a finisher... and we drag and drag... and drag... then there both finishable... and it drags for 10 more minutes... then we see a big boot... yay... the International belt is in a route of non awesomeness... as we see Kang job to a LW with is champ stats... and an UUUUGGGGHHHH went across my face... thank god 08 is over... and we finish with Nate... being Nate... in the only markworthy in ring performance on the night... I enjoyed the ME... Plus I didn't see a point In trying to get a new fin since we are about to switch to 09 anyways. Also Leon and i have already had this discussion, I won't be using it in 09. Which was sorta in my eyes karmatically speaking the lmao point of the match. In other news I echo alot of Smythe's assesments, I dug the PPV but it could have gone better. But hey least the Main Event was awesome. In other news with out spoiling big shouts to Vincent, and Aries win or loss both these kids are trying and it shows. Kip Conrad Posted December 1, 2008 Posted December 1, 2008 it was not a work, I accidentally hit him with his own finisher when i was not flashing ( 09 screwed me up on my buttons for a minute i wanted to steal his taunt but i was to close and ended up hitting his finisher) so i had to back up, but i swear 100% i could not hit my finisher on him, i tried 5-6 times. he reversed each one. I even reversed a Big Boot but every time i went for my finisher Mace was on the ball. Thought the M.E was going to have some sort of shocking return or something... not that it was bad I just had higher expectations. How many times has Mania "Returned" this year? Sick ass entrance just wish you could captiliaze on your mark worthy return. MOTY goes to Kang and Aries... Aries got my vote for Best CAW, Best Moveset and MOTY... YOU THE MAN! Congratulations to Mace for reversing the braddock out of kip! You deserve that Belt! No go Boot Aries for the international title. Parker fired?
