  1. In October 2005 I made a decision. That decision has been for better or worse a part of my life from that point on. I didn't get married, I didn't have kids, I didn't sell drugs, I didn't assassinate some foreign dictator, no. I simply created a website for E-Wrestling, but not just any website in addition to writing about it you would actually get to compete online against another person. You would in essence live the dream of being a wrestler, except you didn't get paid. OK OK it was a hobby for many. OCW has always been something more for me though. A creative outlet of sorts, a chance to prove I could do something and be successful at it. When I started I had pages of code, spreadsheets, handwritten notes, graphs, and a shoestring budget. When I started The IWC collectively told me I was going to fail. And like I have done for the past 6 years I have collectively told the IWC "FUCK YOU". Once a passive man of inspiration, molded into an aggressive man of intimidation, and now a leader of E-Men. I stand 7 years later, 7 years older, 7 years wiser. We may have lost our brothers here and there, faces have come and gone. The community as a whole has had towering highs, and bottoming lows. All and all I stand like I have always done. 7 years kids, 7 years, at this point its nothing more than a date. Similar to the date of the new game, and the promise of perhaps a new face, new drama, new headaches, new stress. But it comes with the territory, 7 years bolder, 7 years colder. We have seen Wrestling go from great to lame, to passable, to decent. We have witnessed the loss of great athlete, we have seen some great things both inside the E-Ring, and Outside in the Real Ring. We have bonded, we have fought, we have scolded, we have taught, we have ragequit, we have flaked, but at the same time we have all staked our claim on this place. 7 years I've seen the level of dedication this place has brought out in some of you. 7 years, regardless of where we go, how high or how low. I am proud of what I built with my RAGE, sweat, tears. I am proud of the bonds I have forged with many remarkable human beings, I am proud of the laughs, the cries, the genuine stupidity, and amazing moments I have witnessed here in both Textual, and video form. I am proud of the people some of you have become, I've seen rageaholics come the fuck down, I've seen douchebags mature and become superior athletes, I have seen men who lived for confrontation become caring fathers, I have seen a boy who had every bit of shit thrown at him on this site and in person, finish college and become a great man. I have seen losers become decent human beings. I have seen a man be nearly killed in a car accident only to compete and win his match damn near the same week. I have seen the sheer passion and devotion of an almost cult like status for this place by you or some of you. I have seen my own evolution as a person, and some bit of that is credited to this place. 7 years be proud to fly the banner of OCWFED. 7 Years, fuck the haters! JCS

  4. Figure I do this cause everyone worked hard and I want there to be discussion. Frick off Page two! Cort Opening Promo Cort is coming out swinging, one half of Hollywood, USA is ready to stake his claim for their position in the finals! Let's see what happens when all three men step into the ring and see which comes out the victor. Also, I always love Cort's promos so enjoyable so +5 points for that as well teehee. Last Chance Triple Threat Obviously for those who have seen the stream, we all know that this match was pretty good! Multiman matches at certain times depending on who is in the ring and if they have chemistry can be hard to watch, that was how it was early in the match but not to the fault of any guys. I respect they gave space and let one another do what they needed to do when they went into their individual 1 on 1s essentially. This match also was kind of a handicap match lmao, Baker & Cobra banging up on poor ole Cort Marshall. Baker, pulling off the victory seals himself, and his partner H2O in the final against Lucha Country! Good stuff for the opening match! Jerome Hamilton vs Doc Green This match I really enjoyed, and I also enjoyed the build for it as well. This feud is one of the feuds that I think many should take away that not every "alt" should be stigmatized with the aura we have around alts. Both guys put in very good work leading into this match and the match was good as well, some slip ups and whiffs but I mean comp is comp and that is bound to happen. In my eyes, Jerome Hamilton has now left that "alt" bubble and is now just another member of the roster and eyes should be kept on him and see what he does afterward! THEN, sadly, Antonio Everrett was manipulated back into forming the Uncrowned with Doc Green. What a sad state of affairs for the Light Heavyweight Champion, going through a lot mentally and emotionally and then Doc is there to try and turn him against Parca & the OCW Universe! Excellent match, and excellent post match stuff as well! Hollywood, USA Promo following the Triple Threat I've said it, and I'll continue to say it. Jehst & Cort are two of the best writers we have and I fucking love reading their RPs. Jehst, keeping it calm, and positive following his partners loss in the triple threat. Cort, even mentioning it himself also made note that BOTH guys did not want to let up on him! That Germany 45' line took me out and made me chuckle, also.. who is this letter from I wonder? That's something we for sure gotta keep our eyes on. Good writing guys very enjoyable. Flojo Video Promo Really happy to see Gooch make an appearance on Consequence, her promo was solid, and very straight to the point. Out of all the nitty, gritty stuff we always are used to I love seeing Flojo come out and have a very light hearted type approach with her promo. Excellent work Gooch and hope to see you continue those up moving forward! Joshua Tucker vs TLBS This match I was quite looking forward to. Although it didn't exactly happen I did enjoy the effort and work that went into the video nonetheless. Tucker & Caine duo choke slamming TLBS through the table was wild as all hell. I could only imagine horse man was not particularly fond of that happening and am curious to see how he eventually responds. Ashley Moore Laboratory Segment Oh Ashley, she is so absorbed with Valk that she's really losing her marbles isn't she? Trying to find any and everything about Valk that doesn't really seem to be doing her good. But hey she's employing some scientists and apparently is paying them super good so good for them! Can't wait to see what happens in their match later tonight! (I will not be reviewing the tag title hype vid nor the finals. Gg to Harvey and Baker you guys gave us one hell of a fight!) He's Back Video Erm I don't really know who this is about. It was quite odd which I'm sure was the purpose for it, but yea the effort was there and it was cool! Baker & Harvey Promo following the Tag Team Finals Looks like the B2O boys are taking it very heavily following their loss. Baker crushed a bottle of Grey Goose in what seems like 13 seconds, Harvey is wondering can he pull off the victory tonight? Tonight being the most important night of his World Title reign thus far. Both guys you seen the emotion and was a very quick, good read! Ashley Moore vs Valkyrie YO! What a god damn match! Ashley came out swinging for the fences and holy shit did it work. She was not letting down on the aggression in this match and it really worked. Valk was SO SO close to pulling the comeback as she has Ashley red/yellow right near the end. But, unfortunately Ashley caught her with another fin and Valk being the respectful star that she is put the controller down and we have #AndNew! Once again, really awesome match between both of you and I'm looking forward to seeing what Ashley does in her second reign and also where Valk goes from here. Thomas Archer Promo Usually burning down buildings is super illegal. But I wonder what this thing is that Archer now has in his back pocket, quick read, and Jamie always does a good job writing. But, fuck Thomas Archer! Wrex vs B17 Jesus Christ. What an absolute barn burner this match just kept going, and going, and going. Literally at one point it seemed like B17 was gonna have to kill Wrex for him to stay down. Mr. Scumchester, inevitably couldn't answer the 10 count when his arm was trapped. But the damage had been done and settled in as B17 retained his championship in one of the best matches of the night. Tre Golden vs H2O YOOO WOW. These World Title matches are not letting down by a damn long shot! Harvey and Tre both at certain points looked like the pressure was going to make either man snap. Tre was playing the game right as he stayed on the outside and abused Harvey will all sorts of weapons, finishing manuevers, and even a shot to the dick. But, The Good Light didn't die and Harvey by the skin of his teeth just barely pulled off the win. Both guys should be proud of themselves as this was a really good match. BUT OH SNAP, A T T A C C has made his presence known! As Rust Cohle tried attacking Harvey from behind (and failing?) THEN OUTTA NOWHERE THERE IS DANNY WATTS! Rust Cohle & Danny Watts are now forming an alliance what an absolute shock for the world title scene! Valkyrie Post Match Promo Man. Valk is pregnant, and is now retiring from active in ring competition. That is really sad, the face of the women's division walking away and becoming a mother. Valk is a true testament on if you put the work in you get to reap the benefits. I can only hope/wish the handler will still be here in some way shape or form but damn what a way to end a character arc on a high note. Both women, Ashley & Valk remind me of our own Cena/Orton feud in their own unique way. I guess we see where Valk will be going in the future, but now the real question is what will Ashley do now that her long time foe & rival is stepping away for what seems forever? Very great read and ily Valk. B17 Confronts Wrex B17 laying down some truth bombs onto Wrex. Wrex seems like he hasn't fully hit rock bottom by himself. He's always been able to turn to a friend, partner, or alcohol. And B17 truly made a really good point. When you eventually have nobody to fall back on, then you'll be so terrified to fall that you won't. I really hope this motivates Wrex to pick his straps up and to keep chugging along because I love both guys. Awesome vid promo and great followup from an amazing match! Nate Ortiz Pre Match Promo The Franchize laying it down with some straight facts! Both he and Trance have been there, and done it all. But now, these two goliaths get to lock horns and engage in some one on one violence! I can't wait to see this match up what a main event we have for us tonight! Jacob Trance vs Nate Ortiz Man this main event was WILD. I really at first thought Trance was gonna run away with it, but instead the Franchize, Nate Ortiz brought it back and earned a well fought victory. Both of these men put one another through hell tonight, we seen so much brutality but I won't describe it all you need to go and see it for yourself. This was truly a main event that from start to finish was EXTREMELY entertaining. THEN, we seen ANOTHER OCW legend return with ARIES! Attacking the Franchize from behind, leaving him bloodied in the center of the ring as Consequence went off the air. What does this mean? Will we see Trance again? Will Nate Ortiz address Aries? WHAT A TIME TO BE IN OCW FOLKS! AMAZING MAIN EVENT GENTLEMEN! All in all, my tweet stood true. This PPV top to bottom was really god damn enjoyable. Thank you to everyone who participated whether it was in a match, writing a promo, or doing a video of some sorts. I know that we just had probably the greatest PPV of our season and probs the best Lution to date so some people are burning out. But we just got a few more stops left so let us finish this season with a bang! I am proud to be in this community of hardworking individuals and I loved every moment of this PPV, here's to Summercide folks!

  6. Submitting Roleplays & Matches, General Player Expectations Handbook Navigation - Page 1: About OCW, Mission Statement Page 2: Getting Started, CAW Creation Guide Page 3: FPR (Fair Play Rules), General Etiquette Page 4: Submitting Roleplays & Matches, General Player Expectations ------ THE MORRISON METHOD ------ Designed, perfected and named after OCW Legend Mad Michael Morrison, the Morrison Method is a formatting guide for Roleplays and other segments that keeps the overall style of each show consistent and easy to read. All written content needs to follow the Morrison Method. The Morrison Method works as follows: Actions, and Names are in Bold: Actions Example: Mr.Sensation throws a cup against the wall. Name Example: Mr.Sensation: Well well well, if it isn't Paul Pugh, and the sissy express. (Quotation marks are NOT NECESSARY when a character is speaking, it’s assumed when you use the Morrison Method correctly) Full Role Play Example: As the last match ends, the camera pans to the back. We find the CEO of OCW Mr. Sensation at his desk yelling into a phone. Just then Bobby Minio walks in. Bobby Minio: Bossman!!! Mr.Sensation: Not now Bob, can't you see I'm yelling! Bobby Minio: Well you stink! Bobby Minio quickly exits as he slams the door, Mr.Sensation is enraged! Mr.Sensation: CHINLESS JERK WEASEL! Mr.Sensation throws his phone at the door shattering it! The Camera Fades to the next segment! (If you need any help working with the Morrison please contact Tiberius Dupree, Nate Ortiz, Mr.Sensation or if needed Quartz.) ------ GETTING BOOKED IN OCW ------ A common question in OCW for Rookies is "How do I get Booked?!". The process of booking is quite simple. In order to get noticed and teach us a little bit about your character, please post an introductory ROLEPLAY using THE MORRISON METHOD!!! in the PROMO ROOM SECTION.This gives us an idea of your character and what you can bring to the table, this also opens you up for critique and guidance in how to begin your journey. Being proactive assures us you are ready to be booked IE posting content in the Promo Room, interacting in the Discord, getting cleared for KHSADA and overall showing us that you are active. In this way you are the master of your own destiny in OCW it is all up to you!. If writing isn't your forte or you aren't comfortable writing, you can always submit video content IE a hype video for your impending debut. Once again taking initiative is the only way to succeed in OCW. Nothing will be done for you. You have to put your best foot forward and initiate your own journey! Lastly, if you require help with character development you can ask around on the Forum, the Discord or even by private messaging staff if necessary. Be respectful however, you are more likely to get help if you are polite than if you are entitled, or a raging dickbag. You can also get quicker help by contacting Jake or if needed Mr. Sensation. Show Cards are posted approximately 10 days before the show airs, and will be posted in the MATCH CARDS section of the website, the #ANNOUNCEMENTS section of the Discord and on the TWITTER FEED for OCW, as well as always being posted on the CALENDAR, found here: http://www.ocwfed.com/forum/calendar.php There is no excuse for not knowing what show is upcoming. ------ SUBMITTING ROLE-PLAYS, SEGMENTS, VIDEOS & MATCHES ------ (Late Submissions will not be used) (deadlines for shows are posted on the calendar section of the site at the bottom of the forum, on the sidebar of the forum and in the front page of the website ocwfed.com.). Event Roleplays, video submissions/segments, and Matches should be submitted in the Submissions section of the site using the proper subsection, (Riot, Turmoil or PPV) in a timely fashion. That is to say BEFORE the deadline, this year we will be much stricter on enforcing deadlines. If written content is not in on time it WILL NOT be used, if a match is not in on time it WILL NOT be used. When you submit a match or Roleplay you should use the Morrison Method(see Below) in addition the name of the thread should be as such; [Name of Show], [Date], [What this is] Your Submitted Thread should look like the below. Riot 401, Week of 12/12, Mr OOC Promo <-- Typical RP Submission Example Turmoil 203, Week of 5/12, Big Willy Hype Video <-- Typical Video Submission Example Wrestlution, Week of 02/23, Mr OOC vs Parker MATCH <---- Typical Match Submission Example For promos it would be appreciated if you posted where you would like the promo to appear on the card, REMEMBER, not everyone can open and close the show. The Deadline for TV shows (Riot and Turmoil) and PPV's will be posted on the card each week, so make sure to check it in case it has changed for any reason! If you need to record a match, but do not have a capture card, there are plenty of ways in modern gaming to record footage without one. If you’re on Xbox, you can utilize Twitch.tv or use a USB 3.0. The streaming method is the most common and it’s extremely easy. Create an account on TWITCH.TV and afterwards, make sure your account is set to automatically record all live streams as VODs (Videos on-demand) You simply need to begin streaming before your match, play the match, and go to your account on Twitch.tv and download the recording of that live-stream. We recommend deleting the recording from your account after you download it to your computer to ensure nobody can view your match before the show airs. ------ GENERAL EXPECTATIONS ------ PLEASE NOTE: That failure to show up for matches or overall inactivity while in "Rookie Rank" will result in your Discord Account being moved to "Friends/Fans". It's nothing personal but we can't afford to waste time with those who are not able to be active. Also note that you can contact the Discord Admin Mr.Sensation and he can Reinstate your account to Rookie status when your schedule allows. First and foremost, you have to understand that you HAVE TO PUT IN WHAT YOU HOPE TO GET OUT of this community. When you contribute, this community, and this hobby, really does give back. You'll make friends and gaming buddies, and you'll get to have a place to be creative, have fun, and kick a few asses. Everyone has to contribute! If you're not writing, if you're not making an effort to be a part of the shows, you will not get booked on the show. Getting booked in matches is reserved for people who are making an effort to be on it. If you are Main Eventing a Riot or a PPV, you are expected to contribute Main Event content, in effort, quality and quantity. If you are wrestling on a show, you should have segments on that show. Build up to your match, make people want to see it, and have some consequences or aftermath if you can. A match is an opportunity for a story, no matter how big or small, do not pass on that opportunity. We are all here to contribute to a super fun show and no matter how small you think your part is right now, every bit helps towards that goal! If you have skills that could help in other aspects of the OCW, tell somebody, offer those skills up, contribute. A lot of people do. Some people are handling the social networking fronts, others design graphics and attires, others edit videos... If you have some cool skill, chances are the fed could use it. Make sure you are getting in touch with your opponents within a reasonable amount of time. Everyone here has jobs, lives, significant others, children etc, RESPECT EACH OTHER'S TIME. If you see you are booked against someone, reach out immediately and start scheduling a time for the match that works for both of you. We have players from a number of different countries, so time frames, especially during the week, do not always match up. Leave no room for last minute error. If you have recorded a match, get that match edited and uploaded through something like Dropbox or Google Drive and submit the link inside the submissions thread. Downloading and uploading a match takes the staff time. Putting a show together takes a lot of time. RESPECT THE STAFF'S TIME. Getting these things done within a reasonable time frame will allow us to correct any errors or mistakes that might come up. We watch the shows every week together as a community in the Discord Viewing Party if you want to join and experience it live. You’re also free to enjoy the content on your own time! Be cool. Have fun. Wrestle your asses off. Write your fingers off. Get over. LINK TO APPLICATION BY CLICKING THIS LINK SCROLL UP THE THE VERY TOP IF YOU STARTED HERE

  12. The longer you do something the less it feels special. I remember this feeling in my tum tum when we hit 5 year, 8 year 10 year.....Now....I'm fronting headache or not it's been 12 years, b. I mean I still remember the days in college with my spiral notebook on the 7 Train writing ideas. Then I remember that dark spiral and a need for some kind of catharsis. I remember sitting for coffee on 14th street going over code and the back end for OCW V1 with my top dog (one of my best friends to this day D.) when we had cash payout systems and contract negotiations. I remember my old pal S. begrudingly showing me forum systems and doing the first initial layout for OCWFED (The old Blue and White joint). I can't forget Gregory Kael whose countless efforts dealing with my madness with poise and calm helped shape V2. And lets not forget the Technical President, Ron!. In which I would get up at 4:AM Eastern to make sure I had time to communicate with him on helping forget V3 which despite the server being horseshit, was one of our best iterations to date. Ron was also pivotal in getting V4 of the ground and answering my dopey questions with patience and respect. I will always owe Ron and Greg a huge debt for helping shape our basic foundation. I remember CWO and how awful it was and saying, man I know I can do better than this. I remember the IGN boards, and people laughing me out telling me (you will fail, this is stupid). Those same people weeks/months later (oh this is nice, can I be a mod?) I recall all the takeovers, the mergers, the bs, the sillyness, the dopeyness, the flakes, the greats. From SvR2005 and the whole head hunting cheese, to the WM21 Dark Ages, to XWA plucking out Nate Ortiz, and RD Money. The Geomon's, The Faustos. To even be at minimum E friends with such an eclectic group of individuals has been so much fun,. To watch Nate Ortiz grow from a kid who had every fucking wall you could possibly imagine from a personal perspective come up and have him fucking barrel through it like a man and to see him now helping the youth of tomorrow, to see that just warms my black heart. Seeing RD go from a belt making trash talking dope, with good SNES music to running his own jam. To see Majin become one of the most caring fathers on the planet earth, despite looking like he hates people who look like me :) Watching Pugh grow from a Xerox flake to having a pivotal roll in getting me motivated for Season 11, watching Suda go from Over In real life to Really over in real life. My countless interactions with the Stallion.....Parker...whom I consider a pal..sorta....kinda... Nick Kage who has always done right by me. Fucking Matt, being a mumbling dope to now being a useful mumbling dope who despite being a dope always has the best intentions. Guys like Trance whom a lot of people dislike, learning how hes actually a really good dude just a bit dopey. The Ambition 4 and Trash, who motivated the fuck out of me in 2012, I know I'm not always in the chats but every time its always fucking pandemonium. My man Kelvin, whom we hardly ever see eye to eye, has been one of the loyalest, hardworking and good dudes I ever had the displeasure of knowing <3 Kingshugabooga. Guys like BOBBY who I speak to on the reg and can always be trusted to give me a side of the story I didn't think of. I mean there is so many more people to mention that I can't possibly remember or fit them all. Rich! who despite having the time table of a slug is one hell of a human being! always willing to help, always hilarious, and always using dead company cards forcing me to wait outside home depot like I am looking for work in embarrassment. Rich alone is responsible for turning many of my frowns upside down Cookie4life. Sociopath Wu, who will possibly assault me come December, I can't put into words our interactions, but dealing with him on a semi daily basis since Season 11 has been a treat. My Upstate mental twin, Kent. How many times have we literally said the same thing at the same time when thinking or working for something for OCW? I think we should both at same time: SAME EXACT IDEA!!! Also when your loaded I can't stop laughing even if you do hate my excellent parody comedy songs. SIR Warren and his Giant Daughter and Medium son: That is all. Watching Drago turn into Medical Nate!! I'll need you to shave some bread off my Copay bubbah Haklps! Even dealing with some of the newer folks like Pampam, and Doug I see the shine of the new generation as the old heads bow out the new generation is learning the game learning the right way for the most part. Doing the little things, making matches special and mean something. And helping to bridge that gap for the coming seasons. The complete 180 turn around on the PS4 platform with all these interesting and cool people has been just simply amazing and by hook or by crook kicking and screaming Teamwork made the dream work and being able to do a show with a guy like Jack (who I thought I would hate) turned out to be rad sandwiches. Can't forget Milktoast Adam, I know you get a lot of flack, for your measured personality but you care. That's the important thing, if you care, OCWFED is what you make it. When you do well for a bit then just get lazy or peter off you're not part of the solution your part of the problem. You can go as high or as low as you want here. YOU make your destiny here and we help, some ppl get it some ppl don't some ppl will go (why he didn't mention me)....too many god dam names! The party chats, the WWE chats, the MMA chats. Watching all of you grow, it's great guys its great shoutout to Mr.Chocolate! Even with people stealing our assets, jocking our style, taking our content and ideas and trying to pass them as there own, the copycats the plagiarists etc we are still here. Because no matter how many people want to copy our style, the OCWFLOW is unique it is of course the Old Country Way. So while ppl may try to mar us as "the meanies" I am all for it. It might be a New York State of Mind. But I would rather die on my feet and keep it 100 then live like a phoney, fake nice coward forever. It's just not in my DNA. At the end of the day I'm a bit misty its been 12 years, lets make it another 12 years, fuck it! TY FU Bai

  13. Sorry if I missed something Good promo from VALcano to start things off. She kinda reminds me of OG Flojo in the way she is unhinged on the mic and very energetic. Honestly I didn’t particularly like the previous one she released on Riot two weeks ago as I felt her character didn’t really show, but this one is much better. It’s short sweet and to the point, plus the Morrison method was used correctly. It sells the match and makes you wanna see more. DAYUM Rustin is now a #sadboi and he’ll be bumpin Lil Xan and Lil Peep during his Sunday’s strolls. JK I think the way Rust reacted to his two losses is neat and realistic. Empathy is a smart card to play at this current time and I wouldn’t hate to see a Rust vs KD match possibly followed by a rust midcard belt run. I think being able to play off defeats and keep the character evolving is the best skill one could have in ewrestling and this is a good example of how to bounce back from it without necessarily taking time off with the character. Speaking of VALcano, Jesus her render reminds me of the GTA San Andreas Pedestrians on PS2. I’m not sure if it’s the resolution or whatever, but I immediately felt some sort of nostalgia when it popped up on my YouTube feed. Now, if I have to be completely honest, I think the caw doesn’t really match my mental image of VALcano that I’ve developed throughout the weeks based on the promos. In fact while her promos, entrance theme and why not, even the moveset are quite energetic, the attire feels very depressing and moody. The fire was a nice touch but I think a more flashy and colorful attire would fit her flamboyant persona even more. It’s not really a big deal, just my two cents. Many of us started out with caws that look MILES different from today’s versions, myself included so it can and will definitely change over the next months. You are also lucky in a way because OCW is filled with very talented and helpful creators willing to help out. Nothing to say about Joanna honestly, she looks unique compared to the roster and I quite like the one piece suits as they are not that common. The FPR was okay, just remember that when someone bumps you you shouldn’t attack them right away. Always give space and reset. Overall a solid debut, with Joanna looking strong and VALcano showing potential for the future. Hyped as fuck to see mad mike back in OCW. Jehst is surely an interesting opponent and the perfect partner to play off this feud, I couldn’t have imagined a better pair to be completely honest. Judging by the content Mike posted on and off throughout the years I kinda already had a mental image of how his toon was going to be, but seeing him actively involved in OCW programming is a completely different thing. Overall the RP was quite interesting and even disturbing at times, but it was solid. Nice use of images as well. Maybe next time you could even use your caw cuts and actually have them in the scene or whatnot, albeit I do understand it’s a lot of effort. Interested to see where this will go. What I liked the most about The tag team match is the many layers this match offers. In fact, on one side you have a newly formed tag team who were former rivals and on the other side an established team that has been dominant for quite some time and many feel like something is about to happen. The match should be also intriguing from a competitive perspective as well since H2O and DOC have been really good together lately. The trio match was solid. You can definitely tell the wrestling club is getting there as this is an improvement compared to the previous matches from them. You can also tell that the work JC not S has put in DM chat is showing as he performed quite well compared to his partners. This match wasn’t necessarily about winning, rather about showing how much they are improving and while I can possibly remember every single thing that happened (25 minutes), I felt like it was far smoother than the previous ones. All they need is consistency promo wise and just keep grinding. Good to see Aisu back as well (I know, this is not his return match, he has been back for a while), but you get what I’m saying. Happy to see Elliot back. While the brother doesn’t have the same amount of momentum the sister has at this current time, he still comes off some solid matches from last year/season. This segment keeps us guessing as to what might happen in his future without revealing too much, which is good, although there’s a hint towards the end suggesting he might go after the LHW which could definitely be a solid rivalry as both handlers have shown good things so far. No way man… Flojo just got BONKED and sent to horny jail. RIP flojo… wait! The HOF is planning another BONKENING? Oh shit, we better strap in Marisa Welch pulls a Rust and is depressed too. Probably got hit in the head too many times with those neck bumps at Clash. In fairness, I quite like the introspective elements here as they add to the character. We’ve seen something similar in her written work, but this time around it is in video format. I can definitely enjoy this Asher swerve in a cringe/comedy way a la Bobby Lashley x Lana. I just can’t actually relate to her because of the overall look and gimmick, which make Marisa fun to hate but hard to relate to in my opinion. The effort here is undeniable, she just keeps going even after defeats which is nice to see. My only gripe with the character is the overall presentation as I believe you can easily pull off the hot girl gimmick without being overly explicit. This horse however has been beaten to death already and I’m not gonna get into it, so I’ll just applaud the effort and enjoy the story for what it has to offer. Tucker is alive and well. Not really much to say about this segment as it was very short and didn’t say much other than him being, in fact, alive and well. Let’s goooooo Iceman vs Shep stole the show imho. It was very good and back and forth all the way through. This is the big W Iceman needed to propel himself to the upper mid card and get some attention. As for Shep, I am generally not a huge fan of recycled in game assets but those Ziggler trunks are fucking awesome and they fit the character brilliantly, it would have been a complete waste not to use it so I won’t be complaining at all. Overall good stuff from both players, they used the weapons according to the stipulation, they fought all over the ringside area as they were supposed to. I popped for the body slam into a chair spot at 12.07 and for the finish. I didn’t necessarily dislike the Quartz x Spooder x TY rp as it definitely served its purpose of making TY somewhat relatable and giving the other two characters space and time to shine. I got huge Alex Riley vibes here as he was also kinda mute back then, he never really spoke that much but the people still popped when he turned on Miz and had his moment. I would however like to see more from TY as a whole, more lines, a more defined gimmick and so on. This RP and story definitely sets the perfect chance for him to make a big impact and play off two strong and well written characters. I just wished he would use this opportunity a bit more. See Maxx Edwards here does exactly what TY could do with Quartz and Spooder at some point in the future, he plays off his heel gimmick and becomes relatable, while still growing as a character, becoming more layered and so on as he evolves and shows a different side of him. B17 x Archer match sounds intriguing enough. These two characters when put against each other can put on quite entertaining promos as they complement each other in a way. Let’s see where this goes. Great stuff from Colin this season. You can definitely tell he’s got a different pace compared to the rest of his rookie class in regards to quality, consistency and quantity. In a Turmoil in which everyone sold the fallout from Clash, he did it as well despite him being the winner of his match. This promo makes him relatable and solidifies his white meat underdog gimmick. The Judge x Trance was surprisingly short given the stipulation but it made for an enjoyable watch for sure. Nice finisher Kickout towards the end and a finisher shortly after to seal the deal. I’ll be honest, Judge gives me more babyface vibes than heels ones so I could totally see him transitioning towards a more comedy face role at some point in his career. Can’t wait for the emp championship party next week. Her video work is always top notch so I’m expecting something amazing for sure. Fuck Terra Daturas and her shitty flowers The Danny Watts x Colby segment was honestly the best possible way to cash in the momentum he had off his feud against Fraser, so it’s booking 101 here in my opinion. I really dig Colby’s look, neat as fuck just like every caw Aries touches. Man I am a huge fan of ??? I cannot wait for him to return to his iconic theme, “???” Played by the ????. Do you guys remember when he hit that guy with his ??? finishing move? Because I do. I popped so hard ??? back in the days. Dylan, his name is H2O. Harvey Hamilton Ocean. The longest reigning champion in OCW history. Don’t act like you don’t know him. Jokes aside, keep the action separated from the dialogue section of the RP. While it’s not really a big deal, it’s just easier to read imho. That being said, this was a good example of what a post match RP should be. It sells what happened while still showing some showing the positive aspects of the L and why the trio has potential to improve in the future. It also shows frictions within them which makes for interesting scenarios for future RPs, who knows maybe even a split and rivalry. It’s funny how Wrex and Kass followed similar trajectories in becoming more relatable faceish toons, but while Wrex kept most of his previous gimmick intact, Kassidy changed quite a lot of it and he is now a completely different wrestling personality. This segment was short and to the point. It sold the main event and gave us a reason to care about it. Fin. I swear to Jesus Christ if I was alone in a dark alleyway and Solomon Caine’s CAW appeared in front of me I’d pee my pants right away. He looks so creepy YET somehow it fits the character so please never change it. OwO what’s this? Looks like Caine has unfinished business with a couple of people. But isn’t Danny busy already? Welp, let’s see who is gonna get shot up next. I can agree on the fact that TLBS did not walk away from Clash as a complete loser. Matter of fact, he still has quite a lot of momentum on his side. What the character is missing in order to make the full jump from midcard to the main event is a more developed gimmick. At this current time there’s a lack of dark spooky toons in OCW so Matteo can totally fit in very well. All he needs right now is to delve more into that dark side of his persona. He’s a spooky intimidating person right? Then how come he gets made fun of by fucking Cobra on an interview? Cobra should be scared shitless, yet he yawns to his face? This is what I feel could be the next step in his character development. You wanna be spooky? Then actually be spooky. The match itself was fine, nothing to write home about. Huge fan of Cobras attire, it’s Zelda inspired and I got the reference. I feel like this could be a thing with cobra wearing videogame specific attires every time he is booked. Could be neat. Suplex into a finisher for TLBS and GG. OwO what’s this? Someone even crazier than Matteo is on the X tron? Man… this feud is gonna be something alright. Jordan’s promo was wrestling 101 in my opinion. Simple, clear, to the point. Sells what happens in the match and portrays his gimmick properly, setting up Jordan for his future on the blue show of OCW. Farewell to Ashley Moore. The longest reigning women’s champion and the one and only 3x champ of the modern era. An absolute work horse since day one and most of all a good friend. She accomplished so much in so little time. Definitely deserves a break/retirement. Again, while there could be a lot of great names that B17 could face, like Tony, Rust, even Nate… I still believe archer vs B17 is the match that most people wanna see. Now whether or not it’s going to happen at Lution or R2G I don’t know. But I feel like it is the best direction for both toons. The dominion reunion towards the end was much needed. While it’s great to see each character involved in individual storylines, I feel it’s important to keep the faction portrayed as a strong cohesive unit. Rust in particular stood out to me the most, because I sense this episode has been a key turning point not only for his season but potentially for his gimmick as a whole. Sure, dominion is back on the same page, but are they really? There are many ways things can go from here and they all lead to fire matchups and scenarios. The main event was much more evenly matched that I was expecting. I honestly felt like Kassidy was done for and Wrex was just about to put him away but instead Kass found a way to dig in and mount some sort of comeback. I would hope the low blow ending is not just for the sake of it but also a reference to the previous ballbusting gimmick Kassidy had when back in Kasstianity. Karma is an absolute bitch at times, for sure.

  14. Hot diggidy damn. The season has premiered. It's time to dive into this show proper. W O R D S BRUH - bummed we missed out on Parca vs Archer, but I love that Watts is building into a match with Parca considering they are booked next week. Will be interesting. Maybe we'll get that Archer vs Parca match in the tournament! - Love Jehst and Cort's interaction. Cort's intro was perfect "-ABSOLUTELY RIGHT!" I love the continued building of the relationship and establishing them as a not-dead-team... but I gotta say, Cort has a bad track record in tag teams, I'm afraid of where this might be headed. Very entertaining tag match even if it wasn't a barnburner. The Wrestling Club coming out the way they did was great. I anticipate that we're going to be sports entertained every week by these guys, win or lose, which is a great recipe. Establishment for the Hattons - Interesting further development between H2O and Heather... Also, who the fuck would ever say this in an interview "Stacy: Heather you’re smiling. I don’t think I ever would see a smile on your face so soon after losing your child." Jesus Christ, Stace. - Classic heel shit for Marissa beating up the double D jobber from the crowd. - The REAL Main Event build throughout the show was hilarious. Quartz wasn't booked for the show because TV shows can't handle both of us on the show at once. I love how they chopped it up into multiple segments bouncing between both guys engaging in shenanigans. - H2O all over this show early, which means I hate it. I didn't expect to see this much Harvey on the screen until he was arrested for having copious amounts of child pornography. The SPA re-opens and there are a ton of names here interacting. I dig it a lot, I've always stanned for segments that connect the entire fed and don't keep everything in a tiny bubble. - Summons to appear next week is legitimately hilarious to me. VP shit on the intergender match, but I thought it was fine, they have built this a bit in promo room stuff. Evelyn fit right in and looks good in victory. Always solid to add more comp to the women's division. - I'm not going to shit talk Franklin Wesley's *intent* because it was A+ effort and as a rookie, that's what you need. That being said, he was told from the start that the WWE stuff would not go over well (as WWE does not exist in our universe) and he opted to ignore advice and move forward. I can respect sticking to your guns,, I guess. Hopefully we get some more info about what kind of person Franklin is. I think Tyler's video later in the show did a MUCH better job at both backstory and in establishing the kind of character we're supposed to expect. - popped for Millionaire calling Bingo "Mr. 17". MORE universe connection in these cool ass SPA promos. Entertaining stuff. Kudos to all involved. Women's match was very fun to play. Shout out to Ashley for the opening spot idea. It popped me on rewatch - Holy. Shit. Locke & Key was superb lmaooo. Promo of the night. It's definitely very long, so those of you who don't like "werds bruh" will shuffle off to do whatever it is you knaves do, but here's the deal - This was a perfect combination of descriptive, funny, and accomplished the goals of setting up the match for next week. Hilarious stuff. Reminded me of prime Bobby Minio in the comedic timing and general style. - "Parker, sufficiently spooked..." another pop. Continuation with Caine and Elliot from End Games. This version of Caine seems to have lost his god damn mind, and I don't hate it. In terms of a straight up match, the new rules were SHINING in Doc vs TY. MOTN for me, highly competitive and the removal of resil makes every title match a completely scary affair. Good survivability from TY but couldn't hang on. DOC getting attacked by the Insane Caine is interesting. With this and his involvement with Elliot, I'm not sure where Caine's head is at. - FloJo and Ashley setting up a possible encounter down the road? This is a smart interaction considering neither was pinned in the match Fuck the handicap match. Kass' apology tour ending with the greatest betrayal in OCW history was just... ugh. The story told actually led me to start cheering for Nate by the end. No surprise there, though. Nate fucked by Ted again as he had the pin for like 7 seconds before Ted got back up. - I thought the lottery line in the earlier promo was a way to get a one-liner in, but this is actually a good connection to Pride champion Archer. "Wealth Detector". Is Cort getting back into the Pride title picture? - Mercer's video work was solid. Again, loving the effort coming in from the new handlers. This is the kind of thing that is going to make your first feud even more interesting, whenever that happens. Also... WTF is this music? That is not exactly what I expected to hear seeing Manik's aesthetic. - Fake ass Capo, Tre Golden interrupting the Justin Jehst promo. I love the matchup (if we get it) based on where both ended up in Season 15. I think it's an even matchup that will certainly be well written and elevate whomever wins... also, Cort Marshall now linked closely to his new friend and the man he turned heel on 2 years ago. Coincidence? - Doc's a bad man. Doc and the unhinged Salami on deck!! The REAL Main Event was most interesting because of their build to it and the starpower. Inside the ring, it was a straight forward Spider style match with Pugh getting back on track to kick off Season 16. - Looks like Kass is operating as a hired gun. With his history on the roster, he could pop up anywhere at this point. Scary stuff if you're fighting someone on his tour. KD's new look is awesome. I definitely appreciate his longevity and willingness to fight anyone and everyone. Unfortuantely, he's pretty much outclassed throughout by the World Champion and his annoying little group. Take your shirt off, Rust, you're a world champion pro wrestler for fucks sake. The big announcement gave me chills... and I made it! I appreciate everyone's reaction in the show discussion channel as well as in VP... But there's more to come, this is only the beginning. 8 killers and 1 bracket... STAY TUNED!

  15. 531 gave me goosebumps like no show between CG and R2G did. As a straight up professional wrestling show. This was quality all around, in my opinion. This is a long one, but discussion is well deserved! Doc Green victory lap - This shit starts with the two world champions throwing down a hell of a gauntlet. Are the fucking titles about to be UNIFIED AT LUTION!? Parca looking for Tayy before his match - El Parca can't find Tayy, and that's because he headed home. As a last minute swap, The Man Called Joopiter and El Parca put on an incredible match. Intense as hell in the ring. Looking forward to more development and possibly feuds with Parca MATCH: Rookie Debut Billy Saturn vs AISU - Billy Saturn doesn't RP on this show, but he displays... things in the ring. A lot bad, but also a lot good. FPR stuff will be fixed, a little more raw than you'd hope for a rookie, but it will be fixed, Billy has enough drive to make sure of it. Pros - I like his theme, his attire, and his creative moveset. Ashley Moore and Empress tie the knot - I popped heavy at the RP and at the thumbnail of the video, I thought Valkyrie had another trick up her sleeve! Yet another mockery from Empress leading to a sweet moment and finally a cementing of the team after so long. Who plans to take down the women that killed Valkyrie? Bobby prepares for promo - Bobby gets my hyped up for a tongue lashing, which only he can dish out... This would lead to great heel heat (but also fuck you Maxwale) later in the show. Danny Watts lays out challenge to JT - Danny Watts, creative way coming off a huge opportunity at the PPV. The arrogance and motives he has would make you think heel, but the way he frames it is very much confidence over arrogance. Will JT respond? Telos kicks the shit talk into high-gear with Tre - I fucking love that a fire has been lit under Telos. Moving strong now, back to how he was in his feud with Tyson last Summer! P3 BONANZA w/Empress - By FAR one of the best P3s of the season (although I feel like I say that every week). So much great comedic timing and taking elements from IC and OOC. Mugen and Drago will never cease to make me giggle like an idiot at 12:30am El Parca post-match nice guy promo - Wholesome El Parca is wholesome MATCH: Telos vs Elliot Parker - Telos with some absolute dominance against Elliot Parker. I'm still waiting on Elliot's theme/new ent to... grow on me. I just haven't got a great read on his character yet. Hopefully more development and backstory from him later. Telos caps it off with the Sidewinder, one of my favorite fins in OCW. JT Responds to the throw down from Danny Watts - JT with a creative segment (making OCW some of that sponsorship money from SONY), simple, easy to understand and here you have great back and forth that will make me CARE about the match on Turmoil this Friday! Will the excited underdog turn up and win this thing? LET'S GO! Telos continues his recent dominance - More Telos goodness. Really locking in his intentions. He's racked up some pretty good wins over the last few weeks. Valkyrie heads home, too - An expected Jake sits almost sad, watching Valkyrie return to Finland and harshly dismiss OCW and America. I was expecting a swerve after she shockingly lost at the PPV... but I kinda dig the "anything can happen" aspect of this. What's next? MAXWALE ambushes Bobby - Fuck you Maxwale. Some classic heat here, locking in Minio for an extended time on the ramp. He's right, it's 1-1. I actually didn't hate the match at R2G, so it should be a blast. With so many exciting mid-carders vying for Bobby's title and Bobby's incredible sticks improvement holding it tighter than I thought he would, it's an exciting time to be in the Pride race. Uncrowned find cheeto-laced Cobra playing MK - Classic comedic promo from Cobra + UC... Does this mean OCW's gamer is coming for Antonio's LHW title? He was the first to answer Drago's challenge this season, but now it's in rookie hands. MATCH: Queen Mab vs Dragana - Dan was right, this was a clinic. The most competitive match of the night, without being draining. I honestly expected this to be a quick squash, putting Dragana's rehab with Terra back on track, but it was fast paced, never felt like it dragged on too, long. Somehow making me care about a match with enhancement ass Queen Mab in it. Go Dragana! She's back! #ShowLove TTT conspires against P3 - The remnants of the once powerful TTT... still have 2 Legends ready to finally get revenge on the """"ass breaker"""" Drago Cesar and Mugen. Such a powerful match on the way. Blacksmith calls out Kassidy fucking Hayes - WHAT THE FUCK TLBS!? I gotta say, of all the names I was expecting to see here, Kass was not one of them. Recently semi-retiring, I have NO clue how he's going to respond to this. I was very shocked to see this. I wouldn't be surprised for fasha to shrug his shoulders at this rookie though. Mystery man still up to no-good (or is he?) - I'm not quite sure who or what this mystery person is that's been popping up. Now he's got some kinda document, are we about to see some old legend buy OCW or something? H2O TNA: Crosses The Line, b - STUPID H2O! Certainly getting Drago's attention, holy fuck. Multiple chair shots and a powerbomb off that truck. That is attempted murder. I can't lie, I didn't take Harvey seriously when he was coming after Drago before. It got a little more srs at that autograph signing, but this is insanity. Cort and Shep II: Electric Boogaloo - So glad Cort and Shep are back at it. I missed Shep after he lost that triple threat at Clash. I kinda expected a "wrestler" return for him, maybe a face turn, then he shows up, pisses on Mr. Marshall's grave and gets inserted in a sure-to-be-fucking-insane FI match. Our last FI winner was a flake and a disappointment. So far, the two entrants we know are top notch. Who else we got? MATCH: KD vs Spider - Still struggling from his broken ass, Spider is unable to fight through long enough to get the upper hand on KD. I haven't seen that F5 often this season, but got damn does big KD make it look brutal. Clark Effect: Capo gets real - A bit of a swerve from the usual Capo segment, he gets more serious and a bit delusional. Very nice piece of work from Capo, able to maintain his current character while also driving into his motives and showing that he's more than a funny man. This is an important part in the very long Jehst-Capo saga, with Capo now establishing himself as an emotional equal to Jehst, something very much needed in an emotional feud. MAIN EVENT: Shep vs Antonio, non-title - The main event rocked me off of my fucking feet, man. Recently, Antonio Everrett has wins over KD, Drago Cesar, and fucking TIBERIUS DUPREE. He's always been great at the game, but recently has been tearing the house down. I saw the time on this one and expected him to make quick work of Christian Shepard... Then I watched and was legitimately blown away by what essentially amounted to a squash match for Shep. This puts Shep back on the competitive MAP for me, which is perfect for him headed to Lution as well as establishing himself once again in the upper mid-card, a place he really held well when he was the Pride champion. FAME FINALE - What can be said about the final promo? We all know what's coming. Back when I first joined, I used to get CHILLS reading some stuff and following along with the OCW shows. I kinda lost it a bit between CG and R2G, I couldn't really tell you why, but I will be the first to say... I haven't been this giddy about a show in a long time. Was on the edge of my seat for a lot of it. The matches were an entertaining break between the storylines being established and moved forward, but to be honest, the stories themselves were the highlight of the show. None more than the showdown at the end with FAME. Nate finally speaking out more after the buildup of silence and headshaking he's given us since he returned as an on-screen presence. I can't tell you how highly I value these 3 in OCW lore, and even though I never really saw Nate's hayday live, the aura he exudes in this promo is almost deity-like. I think we have ourselves a 3 way dance, a little under 30 days away at the greatest show. 5-star RIOT with no 5-star matches, so let's call it 4.5/5 MOTN: None of the matches really had any heat or storyline build, but many of them were VERY entertaining to watch and other than the rookie debut, there weren't many FPR issues that I saw/remember. I had a blast with El Parca in our match that came down to the fucking wire. I hope it was fun to watch. That being said, the cleanest, most entertaining was MAB vs Dragana. Nice work. RPOTN: C'mon. Finale with FAME, next question.

  22. Riot 539 Review: SUPERSHOW By Udon Noodles PAGE 1 Mugen, coming off his beach party, with his P3 tag team partner Drago are very entertaining together in this talk show segment. I enjoyed the Bruce Lee... Li... Lai... Thai... Holo Bruce segment, the way the two of you bounce off of each other is entertaining and hilarious. I love fun RPs like this. Ricky The Dragon vs TLBS I'm not sure why but I really like Ricky Ragnarath and Matteo looks like something you'd see happen in Bojack Horseman's world. I don't understand the horse head but it's interesting, the dudes are solid in the ring and I enjoyed this match. It started slow for a while but then it really picked up at the end, that finish is tough. A nice RP from Joshua Tucker hyping his tag match for the night. Bringing up history with his partner T.Y. Sparks was a nice touch that gave the RP some good direction. I'm looking forward to seeing if Tucker can be as good of a partner to Sparks as he was a competitor. Jerome Hamilton and Kareem Franklin are another pairing that do a good job of bouncing off of each other, i really enjoy this manager type role Kareem plays. I don't know who Johnny Millionairre is but I want to know why I didn't get one of these leaflets, sometimes I'd like to go out and support my efed. Anyways, this was another fun entertaining RP, I really dig the collaboration and the creativity that these guys put out. PAGE 2 I love Bobby Minio's writing style, he really knows how to dial you into his character by using sensory and the right amount of detail. The frustration and disdain his character has makes me excited to see what he does next as he seems to be pretty deep into losing his mind. It must be lonely at the top when your best friend is your championship. Sparks/Tucker vs Archer/Maximus Not really a whole lot of tag action going on early on but it began to pick up when Gooch hit 'em with the motherfuckin MOONWALK! Tucker and Sparks looking good together against The Archer Academy but experience stands up to the test of time as history tends to repeat. Very entertaining match. The Twitterverse knows how to get one real fluffing hype for their match. Dillinger instigates! Ashley Moore vs Elsa Holmburg Doesn't Ms. FI have a custom briefcase somewhere in the back? Must have got lost... Ashley is a good heel character, and by heel I mean she used those got damn heels to stomp this poor Elisa out with the ref having to check on her, then she uses the same damn heels kicking her in the face and using the ropes. The damn ref didn't even see it! This was a good back and forth match with Elsa looking real good standing up to Ashley, I thought she had her there for a while. Really entertaining match. I don't know who attacked Terra but they better just disappear because Aerith seems to be okay with assault. Speaking of assault, I love the fun heel angle of Cort going for the bump with the briefcase, just to be countered and then accusing Tre of a felony crime. The Monster meme reference Tre made was Golden and had me laughing. PAGE 3 If I were Elsa, I wouldn't even give Ashley a chance, I woulda headbutted her in her pretty mouth. I'm interested to see where this leads. An interesting interview with Quarts building up to his match with Maxwale and making a bold prediction. Max classically interjects as these two have a great promo style collaborating together leading up nicely to their upcoming match. The Clark Effect - This was a great interview filled with match and feud builds and a lot of great promo work. I enjoy these Clark Effect segments every week and I can't wait to be on it some day. The cozy Dr. Phil ending reuniting Valkyrie with The Inception was some very interesting story development and I am curious to see where their relationships go from here. Jett Draven vs Solomon Caine A good back and forth match that sees the driven Draven send Solomon to 0-5 I think. The rookie's woes continue but he looks good doing it. It's a good thing Sparks got that kid out of there, wouldn't want to teach him about stealing at such an impressionable age. Fun entertaining RP. Why does everybody keep jumping El Parca? LEAVE HIM ALONE!! PAGE 4 Dillinger seems to be guiding Draven on this path of destruction to the CCW Title and I really like the chemistry they have telling their story. Awesome work all around. An intense contract signing between Everett and Cobra. This one is obviously personal and Antonio wants to have Cobra done and over with. I'm excited for this Light Heavyweight Title match. Maxwale vs Quartz A strong match for Quartz, staying a step ahead of Maxwale most of the way. Good match. It seems Solomon Caine is here to wrestle and wrestle only, no fancy flash neccesary! I dig it and I'm interested to see what he can do with it and how far he can go. So far I'm entertained by his character. Doc Green vs Ligermask A fun bit of cat and mouse at the beginning to feel the champ out, I like that strategy by Ligermask. Liger has a fun entertaining moveset as always and he gets a few lucky spots off here and there but generally takes it to the champ, even kicking out of his finisher, not once but twice. Obviously the third straight time meant Liger was staying down, but this was a fun match to watch between the champ and an OCW LEGEND! Oh snap, Jehst trying to get it in with Elsa, trying to give her the old pitty try! PAGE 5 I hope you guys enjoy what me and the other rooks put together and I hope you like the "reload" of my character so-to-speak. I want to thank Pugh for sparking an idea in my mind when he told me to take back green in my attire designs. Doing The Desk with Jay gave me a lot of inspiration too and I'm excited about what I'm going to be doing with Odon Klein going forward. After all these years Nate is going at it and he's still hungry. He goes out there taking on anybody who deserves to face him and they're all instant classics. Summercide is looking hot with that match on the books. Way to set it off like vets. #1 CONTENDER MATCH B17 vs H20 This was a highly competitive match between two deserving dudes that was a controversial finish off the chair backfire. Obviously the game glitched which made that rope come into play but for story purposes it really helps put both guys over. I see it as Ted being fed up with all the shenanegans and knowing we were short on time and just ignoring the rope break. MATCH OF THE NIGHT! FINALE Doc speaking his peace to the new number one contender was a great and much needed moment which H2O just kinda let roll off his back. Mind games, I love it. Great build to Consequence. All around I love everything going into Consequence, there are a lot of fun feuds and good championship storylines and it's really entertaining. Great show everyone, see you at Consequence!

  26. Now that I’m back into the swing of things I have time to write a proper review for T200 so here it is: RUDO’s TURMOIL 200 TITTY TWISTING TAKEDOWN!!! + The show opens with a man whom I’ve never seen in action in an OCW (being a relatively new member); Cactus Gauge. It was cool to see the CAW as I’ve seen his name bandied about on Discord and the forums. This promo was long, or at least it felt that way, probably due to the almost 2 minute entrance videos for each character plus the reading time, but in saying that it was good to see these guys writing and interacting. Looking forward to the rematch that was hinted at. + CAPO! Handing the reins over to Gene? Hopefully she lives up to the one and only. MATCH: HIJO DE MISTICO vs BUTCHER BARNETT vs BENJI MOORE vs PASTOR PETE Mistico – dug the new digs, mask looks great, Me-he-co flag cape was dope, 100% more original looking than the previous edition. Good work man. Butcher Barnett – the attire is cool man, plus the creepy grindcore clown face paint would give people nightmares. In saying that I still can’t get behind that entrance. It just seems too, I dunno, “elegant” for a big scary man to be performing? Personally, I would be going with something more like Luke Harper or another intimidating guy with a little bit of a mental side to him. Benjamin Moore – already said this before but I love this CAW. Polished look, great entrance, music fits the gimmick. Thumbs up. Pastor Pete – great to see the debut of one of the newer rookies on Turmoil. I dug the entrance attire, though I would go with an all-white, almost Brother Love-eque attire like a TV Evangelist; at least that’s what I was picturing. The in-ring attire, though, looks more like a rough house biker. Again I would go with lighter colours like white mixed with something else. Just my opinion though. As for the match, not really a fan of commentary during entrances or the match, mainly because they reference WWE and it breaks the immersion. Noticed a lot of rushing attacks (at least 10) from Pastor Pete, not sure on the general consensus but I find them sort of cheap if used too much. I try and limit them to around 3 per match. Overall the match was great, I really enjoyed it. Benji had the upper hand for the most part until he was eventually eliminated. The ending was awesome and quick paced after the first elimination. I could see a feud between Mistico and Moore but also Butcher and Pastor Pete. + Wrex’s RP was great. His personality always shines through and is consistently obnoxious and ungracious. Could this be a clue as to what might happen later on the show? I’m pumped either way. + Flojo/Gene RP was crack up. Back and forth bitchyness with a sprinkling of sass. The “ESL” part had me lol’ing. + Cort/Shep/The Steve RP was fuckin gold. Love these characters. “The Shut” was my favourite piece of dialogue hahaha. Great stuff boys. + JEHST RP – Comment as you wish. + CJ / Gene RP – Great to see a promo from CJ touching on his rivalry with Cozz, one of the matches I’m most looking forward to watching. I felt a bit more personality shine through in this one which was great. Good job. MATCH Flojo vs. Aerith Well fuck me dead, this was a ripper. I honestly didn’t expect this match to be as good as it was, and that’s not a knock on either guy, it was just so damn good in my opinion. Back and forth like a motherfucker, weapon spots, back to back moves, back to back finisher counters, kickouts when you think it’s gonna end, all the way down to the wire. Was really rooting for Flojo to pick up the win here on the big stage but if this match is anything to go by, she’ll definitely be one to look out for on Turmoil from here on out. Also, fucking love the new Flojo look/entrance, really cool and fits her personality. + Valk/Cheryl RP – I thought this was great, really allowing these two to be in each others face and build anticipation for the match. That’s what a promo should do. Tinkerbell vs. Malificent; let’s go! + JackMo SpeakEasy – I always find JackMo does a good job of the whole “show don’t tell” thing in his RP’s, describing JackMo in a way that really brings the scene to life. Finer than 1999 Britney Spears got me lol’ing. + Flojo/Aerith post match RP – I think this one may have been put too far after the match, but hey, whatcha gonna do when Hulkamania runs wild on you? Great promo from Flojo, I’m sure after that banger of a match you’ll do just fine. Keep your chin up man. + Valmont SpeakEasy – a bit extra on top of the earlier promo with Cactus, building towards the Leonheart match. I’ve yet to see Leonheart so I’m looking forward to seeing the big bodied Valmont fight tonight to see what Leonheart can bring to the table against him. + Karissa Dawson promo – I haven’t seen a lot of her on Turmoil since joining but the new look is cool with the pink hair and also the new attitude. Need a bit of no nonsense brawlers in the Turmoil Womens division. Not sure who Dragana is so couldn’t pop for that but was a cool little segment with the cutscene and piledriver to shut the Queen of Old School up. + ShowBlitz RP – these guys have been all over the show so far, great work. They’re good heels too, I want Valk to crush them all hahaha. MATCH JackMo vs. Malu Great short match between these two Turmoil top dogs. Both got their shit in. Malu looking hefty. Man look he just gonna come in, smack a fool, then go for a surf to cool down. Enjoyed this one to break up the longer matches so far. + Leonheart RP – As said earlier, I’ve not seen Leonheart in OCW so this was a good little history lesson as well as a build to Lution. Heartfelt RP, looking forward to seeing him against DRAGO. + H2O in the house! And B-17? Great combo. Good to see RIOT guys put in for the show. Loved the interaction here; hilarious. MATCH Jack Rogue vs. Connor Rawson Decent match overall but I felt there was a significant lack of pin attempts in the early and mid match, even after high impact moves, which made it feel a little disjointed compared to a match you’d see on TV. Don’t forget guys, you can pin and release it at the 2 count by pressing down on the D-Pad to add that flavour to the match. Rawson picks up the win in this closely contested bout. + Ricky/Capo/Archer interaction – good little RP to set up the match. Always good to see Ricky write something cos he got the skills on the sticks. Keep writing man, even if only a short RP. Capo as always bringing the chuckles, and Archer staying true to his wealthy douchebag ways. MATCH Justin Jehst vs. CPT Alex Unfortunately for me I needed to have this match basically as soon as I had arrived home from the airport to get it done on time. Still feel very rusty and need more DM’s. Hats off to CPT Alex for being so accommodating with the whole time difference thing, I’m glad it worked out in the end. Couldn’t get a damn hold of this lanky fucker; your arms are too damn long! At least it wasn’t a Wrex 2.0 beating. Congrats to Alex. + Invictus RP – was waiting for the gang to pipe up. Ok so now I get why Aerith had a Trance shirt onl I have made the connection. Go me. Centerpiece of this RP was Karissa walking out on Invictus. Was it just a momentary fit or is she gone for good? + JEHST RP – comment as you will. MATCH Code Terror vs. Diamond Wood I don’t know what it is but I can’t buy Tay as a LHW. All these agile flippy moves just don’t look right on him, I dunno why. I would move to heavyweight and become a powerhouse. Just my opinion. As for the match, well, if it wasn’t obvious, there needed to be fill-ins for the challengers who decided not to show up or communicate at all to apologise or anything. I missed a match time once cos it was my bucks night and I got too drunk and woke up way too late but I at least apologised and rescheduled. Not acceptable really. As for the match itself, big ups to CJ and Capo for filling in and making the match happen at all. I think if they didn’t the tag division on Turmoil would’ve taken a huge hit. Code Terror came out looking strong, as they should. Random question, but what is the deal with tag team finishers? Is it possible to do them in an online match or would the rule be, once you’ve hit a legal finisher on someone, your “Tag Team Finisher” (ie. A designated corner or standing tag move) can be used to end the match? + Ashley Moore RP – short and to the point. Another addition to the Women’s roster which can only be good for the competition. MATCH Leonheart vs. Vincent Valmont Opportunity to see Leonheart for the first time. Decent match but could’ve ended, and should have ended, around the 15min mark but Valmont let him up. I don’t get that. Should’ve just pinned him. Anyway, Leonheart ended up with the win in the end so maybe Valmont learned his lesson haha. + Flojo/Valk interaction – someone needs to stand up to ShowBlitz, glad it’s these two. Go hard girls. Also, that poem was hilarious, Valk, hahaha. + Quartz sighting! Again, good to see a Riot guy pop up on the show and show some love to Turmoil. Quartz just being Quartz in this one. + Another great Wrex promo hyping up something with Austin beef. Also, Jim better have both eyes peeled at all times including sleepy time. + Hype for Main Event with B-17 & Gene. Like the rivalry within Invictus and really pumped to see those two go at it later in the show. B-17’s one of my fav’s on the brand, his character and the way he writes him is hilarious and endearing. You do you, boo. + Straight fighting words from CJ to Cozz; let’s see what happens in this brawl, up next!!! MATCH Cool to see street fight attire from both of these guys. Cozz’s was particularly both menacing and hilarious. Good street fight, doing away with most of the technical hoo-ha and bringing out weapons and such to take the fight to each other. What was that Rebirth thing? Ending spot was on point though it seems perhaps there was some trouble with the footage? Is that why it cut straight to the ladder spot? + Dragana/Johnny Law RP – good to see new faces arrive (well, new to me anyway) and Johnny seems to have some energy and charisma so I’ll be looking out for these two in the coming weeks for sure. + Bray is back? As a manager no less? This should be interesting... MATCH Valkyrie vs. Cheryl Stixx Great match overall although I’d be a little peeved if I was Valk. Some FPR breaks and dick moves by Cheryl (hovering, hitting a Sig off a bump) that I noticed throughout. Overall, fairly even until that top rope suplex turned Valk double red. Cool spots and the final pin glitch was actually kinda cool cos it made it look like Cheryl used the ropes to win. + Mez Murdock ain’t fuggin’ around, Tobin! Don’t get got before Lution! + Oh, ho, ho I think Showblitz have finally got some competition to keep the numbers even. They thrive on getting their victims alone but now they’re beginning to be matched. Could this be the shifting of the tides in the Women’s division? + Man, Wrex is all over this show! Another great RP with Gene, who is also ALL OVER THIS SHOW. Turmoil is turning up tonight! MATCH Pride Title – Capo vs. Ricky vs. Archer Decent match, triple threats can get quite messy but this one wasn’t too bad. A few missed spots, Archer was lucky not to get put through that ladder by Ricky, but ended up getting a Joey Mercury style face to ladder moment when he tried it on Capo. Grats to Archer, but what the hell Capo? Hahaha. Standing around like “da fuck, what button pushes the ladder?...Guys? GUYS?!” + Apparently Colby Young thinks he’s gonna come in and be “the wrestler” here on Turmoil...haaaaave you met Irving? He may have something to say about being the most pure athlete on Turmoil. + Hilarious follow on from the match, turns out I was right, Archer done got Joey Mercury’d by that ladder. If he comes out next week in a basketball facemask or somthing I’m gonna mark out. + The Steve/Cort had a good ol’ father/son style bonding moment; warms the heart it does. I actually thought their match was great, and you’re right Cort, gosh darnit! Don’t need no flips and weapon spots to have a good match! MATCH CCW Title – B-17 vs. Austin Lee Austin?! Trying to take a page out of B-17’s book perhaps? Not sure how I feel about that attire on you hahaha. At first I saw 35mins and was like “oh man this is gonna be a slog”, but the match didn’t disappoint at all. The catch finisher on the outside, announcer table spot, superplex through the table on the outside, so good! B-17 with that Bingo Punch out of Nowhere! Then Wrex coming out to greet him for his cash in, WTF?! Even their brief fight was great. Then B-17 rejects Wrex’s moment of glory by sealing it with another Bingo Punch. I think it’s one of the most deadly moves on Turmoil at the moment. MOTN for me was a tie between Flojo/Aerith and the Main Event. Overall a great show, hats off to all involved and Jay for putting all of it together, what a mammoth job.

  27. Hats to the guys and girls who made this PPV possible. First time in a while I was able to watch the entire thing. Also had my virtual note pad with me so I made sure I didn't miss anything or saw moments. I'm not one to make a huge list of what I saw, but I feel I should comment on everything I saw because this was a Great PPV. Amazing to me still that OCW has been around so damn long. I've practically grown up here and 12/13 years ago, I never would have thought such a thing. A very, very special place and you all should be proud to have the privilege to be here. With that said... Opening segment with the Champ and Madison was too funny. I do take exception to the jabs of the Hall of Famers because we'll all give you the mittens whore, but still very funny. As I said on the discord, Sensation with "The World is Yours" theme is Top 3 All-time entrances in history. Not up for debate, fight me. Seb vs. Austin was a good match and I thought Seb was gonna do it, but not this time. The ending was aces because anytime I see Lee laying in a pool of his own fraudulence is a great day. <3 Baker and H2O are some goons man, super wild on that backstage Promo, made petty, haha. The hype video for whoever is coming from jail was interesting. I'm calling it now! Josiah Cross from like 50 years ago! I'm calling that shit right now son! Bobby Minio certifying his business through words was also good to see. Like when people talk stuff so I can see if they back it up. Stigmata has a nice look and has nothing to be ashamed of in that match with Baker. If he and Baker can put it all together, the future looks bright for OCW. Great win as well, Baker. Dupree is fucking godly. His Rp's in my eyes are Fausto level great. Wish you come out with that Highlander music, last time I saw you had the Burning Fire theme. I see Bray is back for the season with this Ace person. Solid RP, just think you need to lighten up on the F bombs since we're a family show! Unless OCW went the ECW route and gives no fucks, lol! Minio vs. Crossbones was good and looked pretty even to me until late in the game with Minio finding a groove. Nice to see you back up the claim, pimp! Wrex pulling a fast one and finessing my mans Jim Black was super petty yet funny. We got TWO POWER BLACKS! Tobin and KD! Awesome to know the tag division is ready to take off. I'll be watching the pre-show later since I didn't see that part. Anytime I see Madison in misery makes me happy. Sensation did it right this time! CJ O'Donnell reminds me of Sami Zayn I swear. Then you got this Bray coming out in the snazzy MK outfit. Bray looked pretty dominant to me and solid finisher, reminds me of someone. I marked like a child hearing Dupree come out with the Highlander music! What a beast son! Digging H2O's entrance attire and Ryu's Puffer coat. I thought H2O was gonna pull it out, I really did. Congrats to Ryu getting the job done and can't wait to see you and Dupree square up one time for the one time. Wrex and Pretty Ricky as a good match. Happy for Wrex getting that monkey off his back because of his previous loss. Good luck in your championship match! A Last Women Standing match in OCW AND A MAIN EVENT? WHAT YEAR IS THIS? Never thought I'd say that day come. Really dope to see new, effective change! That Bertha is a big Bear In Thin Clothing Hoe! She was towering over Sophia and I thought she might eat her lol. Love seeing the women get out there and show that aggression and give out the mittens. Seeing people almost get beaten purple is also a plus. Shoutout to Sophia with the Superduperplex to catch the W. Hats off "shordy". Look at Madison and her lies! We all knew you were a jumpoff, whore! See? I could've shown you the better thangs in life, but I'm not a sucka, so lol @ Doris negro for saving a goof troop! Look at your duck now, Doris! Going to jail like a common urban! #Thefeels Main Event! Was a great main event! Game weirds me out with the delayed pinning. I thought Kass was about to pull a fast one, but the ref betrayed him. Also watching Dennis break up the pin and save his championship on multiple occassions was clutch, super clutch. When you guys started using that fast recovery on the outside of the ring, I started to mark a tad. That competitive nature coming out and trying to do whatever it took to become champion... miss that feeling. Nothing better than that. Gen grabbing that W was shocking to me. I didn't see that coming, but congrats champ! Way to handle what you needed to handle! Lastly, hats off to Doris. You fought your ass off and had a hell of a run defending championships across both shows. Though you didn't hold the OCW Championship that long, its still a testament of how good you really are. I respect it 100% and you've put on amazing shows over the last year and a half. Hats off to you, champ. Great job fellas and ladies! I will continue to do my best to watch all the shows and keep up. Tonight was a great start. Keep the season Strong dummies! Regards, The Greatest to ever do it

  31. Very good show. I do think that the show didn't potentially live up to the promise of the card with some repetitive bits happening, but that's about 90% due to the nature of the site more than anyone's mistakes, people are gonna get the same ideas about finishes, comp is gonna comp, etc, so yeah, I really enjoyed it overall. I do have two concerns regarding the non-finishes, so I'll get the stuff I wasn't convinced by out of the way before I gush about the really good stuff. Parca and Reese Going into this match, it could've gone any way, and while I respect that the ball punch happened, I'm not convinced it did more for the match. I think with the stage we were at in the match, if Parca would've held on and pulled out the win, that would've been a huge moment, it would've strengthened his claim to Tony's title, and it wouldn't have hurt Reese. However, if Reese had continued his dominance and beat Parca, that would have been a huge moment for him. I have total, utter faith in both these guys as writers, though. It looked like Parca was saying this feud had so much more in it, and I believe that, I could see this leading to Reese vs Parca for the world title in future, or, at the very least, a huge, definitive feud ender at a big show once the next game rolls around. My main concern there, is that there are so many moving parts. While I know these guys will tell a hell of a story, anything can happen here, so dragging it out puts it at unnecessary risk when we're currently not sure of how the new game will be, and how much it will shake up the card, I wanna see some new main eventers stomping up there in the next few months. These guys do great stories, though, and I just hope that their hard work isn't affected by things that we can't predict when the payoff was theirs for the taking here. Nate vs Watts I'll preface this by saying this; Prove me wrong. I would love for this whole Dominion arc to knock my socks off, as it's constantly threatening to, it's had some shining moments, and with the aftermath of Nate/Rust in this match, it got there, I was right back in there. What I will say, is with this DQ finish, I feel that maybe Nate was being very generous protecting Danny from the clean loss. With how results have fallen in the last few months, I think the Danny Watts character has had so many opportunities to react to what is going on in OCW, really get into the character's headspace, tell us who he is, how he's feeling, and what's changed, and I don't think those opportunities have been taken as much as they could have been. We've only really seen childish anger from him so far, which, while I like that angle, him being a large, violent guy in the ring who is surrounded by more dominant figures, I wanna see motives, I wanna see how he feels about more stuff. I feel like a clean loss would not have hurt him, and I feel like if he's still not feeling 100% confident in his writing, he'd have an easier time with a simple 'I lost and need to get my mojo back story' than he'd have with the more nuanced Dominion stuff, particularly with Nate being the commanding presence that he is. With Nate, you cannot take your foot off the pedal when you're writing with him. I wanna see all members of Dominion talking, writing, doing stuff, particularly if Nate's authority is becoming more questionable with each beat of the story. Weeeell... Well it's the best stuff dudu dudu Well fuck me if Cort vs Dane wasn't one of the best matches I've seen in ages. I remember when I first came in here, Parca/Aisu was held as the kind of 'gold standard' OCW match that you must watch, and with the new patch notes and stuff, I think we've found a new one. Cort's sloppiness towards the end with that major not ending the match got a lot of attention, but I feel this match required a different headspace. Not so much 'Are they doing the right thing on the sticks', and more 'what's this character doing'. I vaguely remember Jay saying that he booked Consequence based on what matches he wants to see and knows will be good, and I imagine that's why some feuds made this show and other's didn't, and I think this match is the best example of that idea taking full form. Amazing, amazing match. It's got me side-eyeing my Xbox and mashing stock checkers on the Series X to fight Cort in the future. I don't have enough words to say about this, bloody brilliant. Emp becomes the main character of Consequences. As a full package, Emp stole the show for me. Her RP with Ashley was excellent, I think this show had the best P3 segment I've read so far, and Emp vs Terra lived up to all of my expectations. Not only that, she had the best retirement of the night, and that was kind of bittersweet, as everyone else retired previously, but it says it all about Emp's character, and how well liked she is here, that even with everyone and their mum announcing their retirement here, hers still stood out. Brilliant. Valk promising to return and the Marisa/Valk story I'm 100% sold on Marisa/Valk. Marisa and Valk both do a great job with their videos, but, I'm a writing guy through and through, I've gotta see werds bruh to seal the deal after I get interested in the visual stuff, and Valk's promo showed why this feud works. It's got everything, the videos that keep things immediately present, and the written work that lets you get a deeper dive into the character's heads. I love this, I want every feud to be this, it's amazing. Valkyrie usually has so much production surrounding her, and so much character, that seeing her break things down into 'we're gonna hurt each other' has a huge impact, and I'm excited for their match, but, more than anything, I'm excited to see what the characters do following that match. Marisa has a lot on her plate, with Asher not being too happy as well, so I think we're gonna get some top storytelling here, I love it. Tony vs Parker This match could not have been scripted better. After beating B17, Tony didn't just need a win to solidify his rein, he needed the. Maybe not one against someone on his level, but an absolute murder that shows that he is head and shoulders above a lot of people here. I watched this match with my mouth open, going 'stop he's already dead', and to have Parker that beaten, and Parker losing because of his beaten his body was, rather than because he took a huge move... Yeah, just... Christ. People always say not everything needs to be a million stars in the Tokyo Dome, and this sort of match is what they mean, the story is clear, the dynamic is there, it's why I love this place, genuinely. Give me Tony leveling up and being the new B17, it'll be so good. Also 'They should call him Daddy Long Legs, but I'm not here to argue' was a great commentary bit. Caine vs H20 I really like Caine, he's a great character, great guy to work with, and still one of the hardest fights I've had here, so seeing him beaten so throughly, followed by his retirement, followed by the ball punch, this was a sad time for me. Caine held on as long as he could in this match, and while it wasn't exactly a back and forth affair, but Caine kept threatening to come back into the match, it stayed engaging, and the ending sequence was smooth as hell with H20's running finisher. H20 also had some pretty decent promos on the show, so I'm looking forward to seeing him come in as a bigger presence now he's building his momentum back, there are a load of matches I'd love to see. Overall thoughts Yeah, great show. Some good RP work all around, special mentions go to Val's thing, as while I have no clue what her character is right now, she's moving in the right directions, and if she can stick to it, she could be very good. Maxx's videos are always a treat, Archer's big promo was a highlight, and I'm enjoying what DDE are doing right now. I really enjoyed Cort and Jehst's promo too, genuinely, read the show, I think the writing was tight, very little outstayed its welcome, and it's the most digestible show I've read in a while because of it. Amazing work, everyone.

  32. What a fantastic show. I came in for Lution Season, but Consequence came for me to show me that it wasn't just a fluke. Holy SHIT, the first match alone was main-event quality anywhere else. John Carter had a lot of heat coming into the match, for sure, and a former LHW champ and one of the top talents in the company being in the match against him, and only having to pin *him* once to win was a tall enough order for the Italian Stallion, but that man not only won, but won in DOMINANT fashion. He obliterated the competition and showed us all that what he did to Doc was no fluke- John Carter is your LHW champion not because of a 'cheap submission', but on his own skill and merits. Still, no fault to the other guys in the match, ESPECIALLY A.C. Cobra. That man has the heart of a warrior, if these past couple of shows haven't clued you in yet. The ending of Parca / Reese was oddly unsatisfying. It reminds me a lot of, and I hate referencing real wrestling here, but bear with me, it reminds me a lot of AJ vs Nakamura in WWE, with a great match with awesome natural storytelling being cut off by a low blow. I doubt the story is over, as I'd hardly say that Mark Reese got any closure from this match, but time is gonna have to tell what lays in store for Lucha Country. I didn't enjoy Solomon vs. H20. I don't enjoy H20 as a character, but I can respect that he can do it on the sticks...this just felt like an ass-whupping where Caine occasionally mounted a comeback, only to get shot down. It wasn't fun to watch at all. No dig on either of the guys in the match, though, they're both great, and I hope H20 does something with this momentum. As for Salami, well... damn. See you down the road, Nick. Danny-Nate, meanwhile, was perfect. Danny's a killer, and he put up a hell of a fight. Kinda put off by Nate kicking out of the Act Of Violence at 1 when he had Resil. I get that you're a legend and you can do what you want, it just felt extremely disrespectful to me. I know Theo didn't mean that sort of disrespect though, he's a swell guy. BOBBY FUCKING MINIO! I was worried when I saw KD get squashed, but after being pointed his way shortly after eating an L to CG in my debut, I fell in love with the character of Bobby, and I'm so glad to see him saddling up again! And i'm a sucker for Run The Jewels at all times (yo Bobby, if you're reading this, JU$T is a banger and i'd mark huge for it ;) ) JAAAANE, YOU SAY IT'S ALL OVAH-fucking love Cort man. What a legend, I love him. Dane, love him or hate him, is OBSESSED with telling the best story possible through the limitations of 2k19's engine, and for that purpose, you could give him no better dance partner than Cort. These two knocked it out of the park as far as realism and believability goes, and as much as I'd have loved DDE taking home double dubs, this was a bomb-ass match. Bravo to both guys. Love that attire on Parker, great reference and an even better look for a fucking scumbag. Really, both guys rocked great low-key, not overly-gaudy attires. The match itself was just fine too. An ass-whupping, but an entertaining one. Not gonna lie, feel weird about Parca instantly inserting himself into the title picture after the Reese match, but I think Parca's more than earned the equity for a go at the gold, and I don't see many other challengers besides Danny should he properly break off of Dominion. Holy SHIT the drip on the two women in the main event. Leave it to Jake and Emp to incorporate their storytelling to such an extent that both Emp and Terra show up to their match physically WOUNDED, and the SHAVED EMP LOOK! I was literally just mentioning how much i missed it, and look who shows up to Conq! Good shit, good fucking shit, and that's not even getting into the match. What was there to expect? I'm not gonna lie, I was expecting Terra to win and send Emp riding off into the sunset, but... what now? Who's left to fight? What hill is there to conquer? What dragon is left to slay- Oh. Oh, SHIT. Cide is gonna be GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD. I'll post again tomorrow after work! I'm a bit tuckered out, but i'll be getting into the writing and other promo content then! Thanks, everyone, for all that you've given us! Another hard night's work in the bag. Also, hey, I made it on a poster! :D

  33. NIGHT ONE WL Hype Video: Amazing editing work here as usual with some sweet visual effects. Not a single major moment missed, definitely got me pumped up for Lution. WL Rundown video: I love Jake getting absolutely JUICED behind the table, that shit cracks me the fuck up! The cyberpunk theme looks phenomenal, big ups to the production team! EMP RP: When Empress' in-ring career is over, she'd make a great on-air personality. She needs to invest in a parking permit though. I love having a little bit of humor to kick off the show and who better than the Women's Champ? Bermuda Triangle: This match was amazing to watch from beginning to end, it kept my attention all the way through which to me means it was the perfect length. Lucha Country told a great story going for the clean sweep. At first I thought they were nuts and their reign was over but holy shit that was impressive, they fucking pulled it off. Destino. 1 2 3. This dude must have some kind of trick up his sleeve if he's turning his back on his partner after that performance, what the fuck is Dillinger Enterprises up to? Marisa video: Girl stop. You roll up in a limo looking like Lady Gaga showing up to the Grammy's. All jokes aside, I always love Marisa's videos and video RPs, it's become a staple of her character, this girl brings the hype. WOV video: This is a great promo video. There's a lot of words to read but they're timed out nicely so that you have plenty of time to read everything and you get a visual representation of the environment with good camera angles that hide the identity of this mystery new member. Nice and simple. I like seeing people put their promos in video form. This was once again great hype and brings even more intrigue to WOV's matches. I love storytelling! Reese Family RP: Y'all made Mama Reese cry at Lution. Bringing the sadness to the show. I know it's Lution but emotions be damned! I love the family lineage being displayed in this RP. Amazing storytelling. Judge/Jordan video: So a judge and the spawn of Jacob Trance(?) walk into a bar... I love the styling of this video rp! I'm not sure what the audio effects were from but it's very familiar to me. It'll be interesting to see what this odd couple can do as a tag team. I don't think anybody in OCW is afraid but I'm pretty sure that bar cleared out when the judge rolled up his sleeves. Wrex RP: Don't go Wrex! I know you haven't won a title in like forever but there's this Dillinger guy... anyways. Sad to see Wrex go, I was hoping to get a match in with him but hopefully he'll be back some day. Caine vs Matteo: It was weird watching these guys in a normal match, but a good kind of weird. I know they've been feuding for 3 years and I'm a bit out of the loop so I'm not sure if they've had a normal match against each other before because from what I've seen all their matches had stipulations, but this is how you blow off a long ass feud at Lution. A classic rasslin match and I'm a little surprised that Horsey won over Salami who is more of a purist but hell of a match here. They're clearly not done though, I love the handshake just to get the babyface's guard down and hit him with a low blow. Classic heel shit, big fan of this. Definitely a memorable chapter in this feud. B17 video: YES! This is like my favorite character in OCW. I love this video promo, it takes confidence to pull off a voice promo and this dude has that confidence in his voice. I love the visuals of B17 pointing and emoting in different ways to go with what he's saying. A ton of charisma out of this man and a hell of a way to set up the main event of night one. Champ putting in that work! VALcano RP: I love the third person perspective RP, short and simple yet effective. I'm always intrigued by different RP styles. Val knows her character very well and seeing someone who isn't pissed off about losing their match and being just happy to be there is cool to see, and this is Lution baby, gotta be happy to be here! Intl Title: This was a solid triple threat that kinda had the same even keel pace throughout and ended out of fucking nowhere! Tre is captain fucking clutch, he saw an opportunity to hit Afro Thunder on the non-champ to avoid a resil and stole the belt like an old pro! You don't need to go 20 minutes to have a good match, this was a little over 10 and I thought it was a great match. The rookie Derek joining up with WOV afterwards is a good look for him if he plans on being a good hand for the faction. Excited to see where that goes and if Locke will get a rematch for the belt he never lost. Congrats to the Golden boy. Owen video: Same feels as everyone else, I love the editing work on this video but the Walter theme made it a little corny. Regardless, this was top notch work. I'm excited to see this man work and grow, I've known Liam for a couple of years now so it'll be interesting to see how he adapts to the OCW style. Archer RP: Dane Xavier did it better over a decade ago. Mystery woman video: I'm all for mystery and intrigue but in my opinion I think Mac does a little bit too much. The night before his big Lution match he's building onto another feud which kindof distracts from the championship. Don't burn yourself out brother, keep it simple. Focus on one thing and then another. This was great work but there's a time and a place, especially when you're on the big stage competing for a company title. Social Media panel: I don't know why but for some reason this RP made me a huge fan of Terra... excuse me, Turra Daturas. I would have loved if this were a legitimate poll and if people had actually used the hashtags on twitter (like i did, #TURRA), it would have made this RP more interactive but I understand that the results might not have brought on the desired effect. I'll take the appearance of interactivity and still use the hashtags anyways, this is dope! Archer vs Mad Mike: I love Archer's in-ring work. He was taking it to Mad Mike early on but Mike made a comeback being the veteran he is. He also kicked out of a lot of big moves and showed that he's still got it, but in the end some things never change. I hate you Jamie. Good showing by Morrison, very nostalgic seeing him in there and wild that it's happening in 2021. Good win for Archer but I still hate you. Caine RP: You know this man woulda signed the contract if he won. Sore loser. Great heel work, interested to see where these contract negotiations lead. Be careful how loud you say 'contract negotiations' a certain Dillinger... you know what, I digress. Wheel of Lution: Comedy gold! If you are a rookie and you are offended, you have no sense of humor and you can suck Sean McGee's Dick! Mugen has done it again! Is that Fred Durst? Derek/Garcia rp: Normally I'd advise against rookies giving other rookies advice, but Derek has clearly learned something already from being with WOV. Interesting character building and story telling here. Maxxed Out: I don't know what Maxxed Out is, but I'm always a fan of advertising for the next show ON the show we're watching. Veteran work here and great editing on the video, looking forward to your Riot segment. Joshua Tucker RP: Another person I'm not familiar with but we share two things in common, slapping other men's meat and toking on something strong. Lution is the place to return so I dig this (re)introduction to the character and I look forward to seeing Mr. Tucker. LHW Title: I honestly thought this was just going to be another day in the office for Doc but Jo(h)n Carter put in the work in the match to get the job done in my opinion. I understand the "thirsty" comments but I'm kinda on the fence on this one. On one hand, he did take the cover off the turnbuckle so it would have been nice to see a payoff on that, and the fact that the submission happened right after that made no sense in the working man's mind, but this is PVP and it went by the rules so sometimes you get out of a match what you advertise as your practice. On the other hand, it wasn't just some random submission like "omg sudden death he can kill me make him tap", he had a reason for using the move. My only reason for not liking the ending of this match is that the buildup to the finish was sloppy. Otherwise, I thought this was a great match that told a couple of different stories, too bad it's overshadowed by an ethics debate. Joshua Reese/El Parca promo: A lot to unpack in this promo. More storytelling and callbacks from Papa Reese. I don't know where things are going for Mark Reese but I'm enjoying his character development and the layers that are being build with his family involvement. Who is this mystery attacker? (I don't even know if that's supposed to be me or not for those wondering lol) Some scumbaggery going on from the Dillinger clan, got somebody doing Parca's dirty work so he can come in and talk some nonsense. The WWE mark in me thought he was gonna spit the apple at Papa Reese and I was relieved when he didn't do that. Dropping the apple on the man like he's the dirt he lays on. El Parca's true colors coming out, I think this man is really a natural born heel already. Deadwood Cabin 2 Trailer: Okay, I'm familiar with this series! I can't wait for this and I would love to be involved in the next one. I definitely need to go back and watch the first one again, I love when people get creative with the game and do shit completely out of the normal realm. Women's FI: Everybody who is in this match has been working their butts off. I've been watching closely since R2G and this women's roster puts in serious work. I guarantee you there's no other women's division in any 2k league that can hold a candle to what these ladies in OCW do, not that I've seen. This was an awesome match that suffered very little from cluster fucks, I thought everyone did a good job not doing too much but I thought some people were being a little too careful at times. This was as good as you can expect a 6 person ladder match to be and had everything that you'd want to see. Congrats to La Mujera! Christian Garcia promo: Rookie getting the ol' rub from the champ, or in this case the snub! I like pointless RPs that mean nothing now but could be something later on. Put this one in your pocket kid because you're gonna need it some day. As for Wrex, you didn't get the memo? Dude's probably at home sitting on his porch by now. Telos return: I vaguely remember this guy from when I was here a couple of years ago. Good promo work here, working the crowd getting that babyface love and showing us where he stands as soon as he comes back in. After the crowd work, I could tell the rest came straight from the heart. You have a passion for PVP that I'm rekindling and I love seeing that. Dupree promo vid: Busting out the robe? Got to at Lution! I love the editing style and layout here, everything is easy on the eyes and easy to follow. I'm excited for the North American Championship seeing at how it's the only title that I've actually held. I did feel coming in that there were a lot of belts so it's good to see that being remedied. I understand that it's mostly because there isn't really a light heavyweight division anymore but this is cool for OCW, the NA title has a lot of history and whoever wins it should be damn proud to hold the same belt that was held by BIG MONEY DANE. Again, I digress. Purple Lotus RP: I love Lotus' off the cuff promo style, shows character. This definitely felt like one of those in the moment post fight interview vibes so I could feel the vibe here. I love the interaction between Lotus and Jim, I definitely feel like they have some sort of established relationship that I'm not aware of which is a classic babyface move. She's becoming one of my favorites on the women's roster and her sick theme song stays stuck in my head. I love it. CCW Title hype vid: See? You don't need to be a great video editor to put together an awesome hype trailer. All you need to do is collect the clips that you want everyone to see and put it to some fitting music and you've got yourself a nice little package to set up your match and refresh everyone's memories. John Carter promo: Yeah rookie, soak it in! Another promo that I could 'feel the moment'. Listing off the names of the title, showing off it's prestige and putting it over, that's how you start a title run. You ain't about to run it back for the king? This kid has no respect. This is a cool Lution vibe title celebration before the main event! CCW Title: These guys straight up went out there and showed us why they're here. Talk about two meaty men slappin' meat, these guys went out there and tenderized it. A classic wrestling encounter between these guys, Everrett took so much but dished it right back and he put in the damn work. I definitely expected the announce table to get broken, this being the main event, but for the most part these guys kept it in the middle of the ring and I love that, this is how you do a main event on the big stage, didn't even need to use the announce table. Congratulations to both guys, this was a hell of a main event and for me the match of the night. Congrats to Tony for winning the belt, well deserved. B17 PLEASE DON'T GO! NIGHT TWO YALL DONE F***D UP POSTER: Typical league owner putting his face on the poster of the big stage. All joking aside (not joking), I love OCW's graphic work and I could definitely use some tips myself. Everything graphically looks amazing here. I remember back in the day when there wasn't a big as a production team, a lot of times we wouldn't have time for graphics for every single show so sometimes it didn't look the best, but even compared to some of our really good stuff back then, I think graphically OCW is at it's peak. EMP RP: I love the continuity here, starting night two off the same as night one with one of the best content creators in OCW, Ms. Champ. Just a touch of humor here is nice considering her focus for the night, then getting right on to business was a great transition to the point of the promo, which was a strong and effective summary of her HILARIOUS actions from Turmoil. I'm a big fan of workers who know when it's the right time to not take yourself so seriously. Men's FI: I really like Elliot Parker's attire, PPV whites baby! This looked like a really fun match. I kinda wish we had multiple perspectives for this match but it wasn't necessarily needed. These guys seemed a little more comfortable in this match than the ladies did in night one so I think this match was just a little bit better. Kass's big leg drop on H20 through the big ladder looked sweet, glad we finally got that payoff 24 hours later. Bodies were just flying all over the place in this match and commentary was just crying at one point and it was amazing to watch. This is a great way to jump start night two. There's a lot to unpack in the ending of this match, Kass hitting a third Cessation and H20 stopping Cobra from making the save was a huge holy shit moment. I like this ending, it's controversial and can go on to tell another story. Congrats to Kass for winning a sick match. Spider RP: This felt like a poem and I loved it. Very creative writing work. This is written in such a way that it needs no narration and pretty much narrates itself in a very eerie way. Very interesting writing style. Nate Mac video: This guy gets crazier and crazier the closer he gets to his match. Creepy setup for the Pride title match, a lot of good hype. Nate is great at portraying his character and does great camera work. The body language and the cadence both have a lot of personality that I really enjoy. Never stop doing these Mac. Baxter RP: I swear to God, OCW could have a parade with all the crazy vehicles we have driving around, we got Marisa showing up in a limo, Emp's ice cream truck, now the BOATmobile? I've seen it all now. This RP was nostalgic for me from working with Baxter back in the old days. I love the wild humor in this rp, I could totally see the anchor on a car coming but the joke was set up by the setting so well that the punchline delivers. The ominous bit afterward is a great precursor for things to come, and if I didn't already know what was coming it adds more intrigue to what is already a very exciting night. Spider/JCS: These two are unprofessional, Jay for crappling two finishers and Spider for not demanding a rematch. I joke, I joke. I know what to expect going into a JCS match after 13 years or however long it's been. Ignoring those two FPR breaks, this was a fun and entertaining match and really speaks to JCS's character for putting himself in the dreaded number 2 spot on the card. This was smart booking though in case the FI was a dud which it wasn't, but I don't feel like any energy was absent from the VP going into match 2. I love Drago on commentary putting Spider over big as a heel. That fuckin moonsault from JCS on the outside was so well timed. For someone who doesn't play the game, Jay kills it every time he has a match and this was no different. Get good Spider, I'm disappointed in you rooky! Valk RP: Just another promo for just another match, and that's not a knock. When you're on the biggest stage and everybody around you has extra bells and whistles going on in their matches and RPs, it's good to slow things down and keep it simple, stupid. I know it's a falls count anywhere match but not focusing on the stipulation and focusing on the rivalry is smart because that's what truly matters about this match. This was a great way for Valk to set up her match with Turra, showing lots of emotion given their history. I like how Valkyrie being in this match is basically her taking responsibility for her past actions which is an awesome story for Lution. Horsey/Mantis RP: This is a good RP, nice interaction between Blacksmith and Mantis, but it's setting up a Pride Title match. This goes along with what I said about Nate Mac doing too much before, when you're doing feuds, if you do too much you distract from the title. Also, the fact that Nate is in the title match is more important than this storyline so it's a bit of a wasted effort because not only do you book yourself into a corner, but people care more about the title match that Mac is in than the storyline you guys are starting up. This is good work, but like I said before, there's a time and a place. Pride Title match: HO-LEE SHIT! This match was non-stop from the get go. So many near falls and Mac is a professional for letting go of the pin off the accidental FPR breakage. That moment kinda broke down the momentum of the match and threw off the pace a bit but hey, shit happens and I can look past it. I thought Cort was going to win this match so many times but he either kept getting his finisher reversed or Mac or Rust would kick out. This match had my heart racing, not only because I was in anticipation for my upcoming return, but because I thought the match was over so many times and somebody else would kick out or get a clutch break up. This was a great triple threat that was clean for the most part. Rust really did earn that big W, he got out of there by the skin of his teeth and he's my pick to go on to win the North American Championship. EMP/Joanna RP: This is another RP that explores outside the realm of current Championship rivalries. But there was nothing immediately foreboding about it, they both already have history and they kept the RP on the topic of Empress' title defense for the night so it doesn't distract from the event at hand. Empress knows how to incorporate others into her content without taking anything away from the most important aspect of what her current storyline is, which is being the Women's Champion. Great work as always. Mac video: Chili powder in the eyes has to be one of the wildest excuses for losing that I've ever heard. Like I said about Mac's last video, his delivery is on point. With his hair being messed up and him looking a little moist, I got the feeling that he really did just come from his match and cut that promo. This man knows how to get into his character and I DIG IT. Dupree RP: If I know Dupree the way I think I do, he had more that one reason for having a pillow in his promo, or maybe I'm just a vain son of a bitch. I totally agree whole heartedly with this promo, Horsey needs to just phreaking stop. Rooky corruption needs to stop in general. I feel like that was the legit point of this promo and I'm a fan of shit like this. Terra/Valk hype vid: Awesome editing work here once again. This video goes a good job portraying the history between these two ladies and no words were needed. You see them hugging so you clearly know that they were friends at one time. As someone that is a bit out of the loop, this is the type of hype promo I would want to see to set up a match because now I don't need to have watched the last 6 months or however long the feud has been going on, to know what's going on. High caliber work here as always from the women's division. Valk vs Turra: This match was all over the place as a falls count anywhere match should be, and fucking hell was it violent. All those weapon shots, the sledgehammer to the back of the head, you could feel the hatred these ladies are portraying. The poison mist counter was a nice callback to how it all started. They went in there, did their business and got to the point with a nice finish. I love the psychology of this match, it wasn't too long and it didn't need to be because of how violent it was. If you got smashed in the skill repeatedly with sledgehammers and chairs, you wouldn't last long either. The post match beat down made Terra look like one baaaaaaad bitch. Taking out the knee is effective at making you wonder if Valk's career really is over or if she's going to come back eventually and kick Terra's ass. Great storytelling here and one of my favorite matches of both nights. Mantis video: Man how you gonna come out and trick everybody like that? Everybody is ready to blow their load for hyper mantis red and you blue ball us you green fuck! The psychology here makes sense, Mantis getting the attention of Mac's crazy ass who still wants a fight is a perfect way to blindside him with the horse man. Great heel work here, but this is another case of "there's a time and place" and "you're doing too much". This could have easily been a segment for Riot and you'd have something for the following show. This is good content, it just doesn't work for a show that is essentially a big blowoff. Owen/Fraser RP: This is a nice little introductory RP to Owen's character. I don't know who Fraser is but he seems to be spoiling for a fight with the new guy. Welcome to the show Owen, glad you showed up to catch Lution. Colin Locke RP: So this was a cool non-interview promo between Colin and Stacy and I really liked Locke's breakdown of how the finish went down. I can see Danny's character taking it the wrong way and something building off of this, nice way of leaving that door open. Locke is a good sport about it, cool to see an old school traditional wrestler showing respect on the big stage, even after losing a title. Battle for Hollywood: This was a great old fashioned rasslin' match in the middle of the ring, in the middle of Hollywood, for the people! There was A TON of build around this, the feud was done in the style of a movie, so apropos. I was disappointed that there wasn't a hype package for this match, it was kinda one of the things I was looking forward to, but given all the content that was already put into the feud I can't fault them. This match was filled with charisma and the right man won Hollywood in my opinion. Maxx at the end having a tantrum and yelling expletives at Jehst had me cracking up. This is obviously just another huge chapter in these guys' rivalry that clearly isn't over and I really enjoyed it. Davey Jones RP: If this is a Wyatt/Fiend or Balor/Demon type of alter ego for Chris Baxter, I'm all for it! I think it's brilliant to have a pirate gimmick and have Davey Jones take over your body. Baxter has always been one of the most brilliant gimmicks and this just adds a whole new layer to him that I'm excited about. The character looks great, I love the details in the mask and the robe. The RP definitely had that Davey Jones feel with a cool wrestling twist. I'm really excited to see what Bax does with this. Women's Title Hype: Another well edited hype package here. It doesn't take much, just a nice little texture or effect on the footage, a few bells and whistles here and there and it looks really nice. The music matches this really well for these two ladies and the ending image looks great. You can tell that this rivalry has been all fight at all times and these ladies just wanna prove who is the best in the Women's Title division. Hell in a Cell: Yep, that's how it's done. Start in the ring, spill to the outside, break the damn wall in, climb up, go through the top and end it. This was how you play competitively while still working the gimmick match and it takes two pros to pull it off like these two did. There was so much anticipation waiting for the wall break spot, waiting for the top break spot, knowing that either one of these two warriors could die at any time. And this match could have gone either way in my opinion but Empress hit the spot that broke through the top and that's where it ended as it should, OFF THE BIGGEST BUMP OF THE NIGHT! This match was to the point of it's gimmick and for me the Match of the Night. KD Return: Really glad this dude is back, I saw his last match at R2G and noticed he hadn't been around since and I was really hoping he was still going to be around. Not really a "return" so to speak but just to show up to Lution is an achievement all it's own, AND IT'S ALL I EVER WANTED TO DO FOR THE LAST 10 YEARS SO I GET IT MAN! GO OUT THERE AND SHINE! Emp RP: Empress is all over Lution, started off night one and two and is the final promo before the main event. I like getting her reaction to the Cell match and thinking to that moment when she was on top of the cell and imagining her in that "what am I doing up here" moment while waiting for Holly to make her ascend. Another nice and simple promo by STILL the Women's Champ. This is how you do it if you're going to do a lot of RPs: keep them simple, provide a nugget of information and stay on topic. Well achieved by Empress. Ortiz/Quartz Hype Package: Wow, the editing on this video is video is clean! This definitely had a main event hype package feel: showing off some of the cyberpunk footage we haven't seen, a dramatic song behind it, and timing the footage to the music and the transitions between similar poses of both wrestlers... very creative work! This got me hyped for the main event for sure and got my heart pumping. Amazing way to set up the OCW Championship match. World Title: Oh boy, here we go. Challenger and champion both enter, we're all set to go, all the buildup, all the hype, all the anticipation, a dream match, right? Out comes Mr. FI 2021 Kassidy Hayes. Cashing in BEFORE the match since he can't do it during or after. The air went out of the VP. I could sense that this immediately took people out of the match and everyone turned on Kass with some major go away heat. The match itself was great, a good old fashioned triple threat wrestling match and everybody shared the ring fairly evenly. I definitely thought that Kass was gonna steal it with the Cessation on the champ and Nate down on the outside, I jumped out of my seat when Quartz kicked out. And then the double finisher ending was PERFECT! That's why he's the champ! I'm glad that Quartz retained and pinned Kass because this preserves that dream match that we wanted, and I'm not that disappointed that we didn't get to see it at Lution because now it only means we have to wait JUST A LITTLE BIT LONGER! Definitely a dramatic match and I enjoyed every twist and turn. There's Consequences to Wrestlution!

  34. If I forgot to review something you did it is not a personal attack towards you I simply forgot Parca turning heel at the end of the Bermuda makes perfect sense as it keeps things fresh. We get that LC is virtually unstoppable and could go undefeated for years if they wanted to, so this swerve is the perfect way to keep things moving for both characters while still protecting their status. Honestly I believe Reese and Parca could totally pull off a handicap defense against some of the teams in the division but I also believe there’s a plan so it’s ultimately up to the bookers what to do next, whether they relinquish or reunite for one night only, only time will tell. The 1v1 is totally gonna happen at some point though. Caine said he was gonna wrestle Matteo in his element, aka WRESTLING, yet he came out dressed like a BOXER? I mean I’m all for boxer Caine don’t get me wrong, but it was a bruh moment indeed for me at least. Matteo was cosplaying as Bane? The Batman villain? I don’t remember the name. Either way the match was better than expected, it was a lot closer but when you are booked against Matteo you know you are gonna job either way so props to Caine for walking this suicidal route with no second thoughts whatsoever. Caine did look good on the sticks honestly, I feel like he is ready for the main event scene and given the quality of his all around presentation I’d say he’s ready. Let’s see what the future holds for Matteo instead. Wrex retirement is probably the only one I actually believe in, both in character and out of character. The story arc of him becoming progressively “older” IC over the years has been well thought out and was relatable in a way. We will see if this is true or not. He’s a really good storyteller imho for consistency, underrated as fuck. The triple threat was in my opinion a little bit better than the other one because it was shorter and to the point with less kickouts and breakups. Everything went smooth I believe, I honestly don’t remember each and every single spot. Tre winning gives the wolves some much needed credibility and with the addition of a new member they now can pose a serious threat to most people. Colin losing the title soon isn’t necessarily a bad thing because he wasn’t pinned plus we understand he knows how to write so there’s little doubt that he will be able to bounce back from this big time. Danny won it in a triple threat but tonight just wasn’t his night I guess, but no big deal imho. I did not fully understand the VALcano promo in all honesty. I love the character for sure, I just don’t understand what’s happening. Is there a narrator saying those things? Is she thinking about those things? While being short and to the point is totally fine, I believe you should give us a little bit more context to really enjoy your solid character work that so far has been on point for sure. Props to Derek, Garcia and even Tucker for showing up and submitting content. Short and to the point, but nice to see. Summer is definitely the best time for new people to shine given how many of them take breaks and whatnot, so keep this up and you will make a big impact for sure. The ending of the LHW match has already been discussed at length and I’m not gonna add anything new to the conversation. If we look at the division as a whole HJHONHHh being champion is a nice turn of events as it freshen things up a little and gives credibility to a toon that is supposedly all about wrestling so it makes sense for him to be a wrestling champion. Now obviously you can’t fuck up because being a champion here is different from being a champion somewhere else, here you have to uphold a certain level of content creation and match quality so going forward you need to strive to keep up the good work you have been putting in and get better and better. Mike Archer was a fun back and forth and delivered imho. It was nice to see Mike in action despite him being busy IRL and not being able to maybe fully commit but still. Hopefully he will stick around and hop into another program right away. The FI match was good fun honestly. Chaotic but not over the top. Mujera winning? Not a bad thing all things considered, she is quite a threat and will keep interesting going forward for sure. Also her being heel means she won’t put the briefcase on the line again (right???) which is good because it’s been played to death. Hopefully this win will motivate the handler to keep the character more involved because I do believe she does have quite an unique persona and is one of those toons that despite the simple attire, looks unique enough to stand out from a crowd of CAWs. Neither VALcano nor Marisa have anything to feel sorry about this match as they have both been extremely active and the fact that they have been booked on Lution is alone a very good thing they should be proud of. The returning woman reveal was also interesting, let’s see where things go from here. Flojo got close to her moment but not close enough, she surely will have another chance in the future or go straight for the title if she feels like. Same goes for Parker imho. Overall good stuff. The lotus promo felt like an old school flojo promo if that makes any sense, maybe hinting at a face turn at some point in the future. I believe Flojo being somewhat Flojo again and no longer being Purple Lotus is potentially a good thing because if the writer feels comfortable about what they are doing, chances are what they write it’s going to be better and I feel like Gooch may feel more comfortable in this original dimension. That being said I also believe the whole HOF story, despite a couple of hiccups due to IRL issues, was extremely solid and captivating, reason why it would hypothetically be kinda disappointing to watch flojo turn face without a payoff match against a HOF member that could really set the tone and signal the turn once and for all. What it looks like from the show is that the turn might very well happen soon but Joanna also did something different and is hinting at a different direction, but maybe this is a swerve because flojo did mention HOF towards the end of the promo. There are a few ways this can go and there is potential for sure. The main event night one was good, I don’t really know what to say about it. Solid back and forth action and it didn’t drag either so it was enjoyable to watch. Out of all the Lution retirements, the B17 one is possibly the least believable from an OOC perspective. It’s really hard for me to believe that he is done but time will tell. Some time off can do no wrong there for sure. Also I’m not a huge fan of the new title design, when compared to the previous one which was, I believe, the best looking one in OCW, but still it makes sense to change things up a little. The opening FI was great. Maybe the entrances a little long (15 minutes in total) but still, a lot of neat spots, it’s honestly hard for me to say whether it was better or worse than the other FI because they were both action packed and played by people who were just there to fight and have fun, rather than just go for the case right away. Maybe top spot was Kass with the swanton killing h2o on the steel ladder… I honestly don’t remember every single spot, there were so many. I’d say Kassidy winning was great given how much effort he’s been putting into his new version of his toon so it kinda makes sense for his arc to get his feel good moment. I probably would not have cashed it in the same night lol albeit the temptation to main event Lution is pretty huge lol so I kinda understand that. Jay vs Spooder was to me the most anticipated match and it didn’t disappoint. I really liked Jay's attire, I did not like spider’s that much but considering it was supposed to be a street fight it did make sense for me to come out all bloodied. Either way the match itself was really fun, an intense back and forth that we will be talking about for months and years in discord because of how iconic it was. Iconic and also ironic given how much of a factor resiliency has been and the fact spooder did not have it due to him not being the hall of fame. Hopefully he will find a way to sneak in the hall of fame at some point. The only thing I didn’t like about the match was the Moonsault to the outside, while it did pop everyone it was just way too much Imho lol kinda hard to believe… the elbow was much better and I believe it did get a reaction that was just as loud. That said Spider has a very entertaining moveset that makes every exchange fun and funny at the same time, with all the references, stolen moves and whatnot. Sensation winning means we will get more fuel banter for the discord server so not a bad thing overall. What in the actual fuck was drago wearing The triple threat was honestly way too effin long but of course it’s not like it’s anyone’s fault. The card placement did not help either due to the fact it was put immediately after a match that took the life out of the VP for how intense it was so it was hard to really follow this one with the same intensity. That said props to everyone who was involved in this one because they were all winners in my eyes. Rust for pulling off an extremely hard defense while looking like a monster and delivering finishers left and right. Props to him. Congrats to Cort for winning the best Lution attire award with that jacket, everyone went crazy when they saw it as they should. While I do like corts attire and I believe it is one of the better ones in ocw period, I also think it is maybe time to refresh your wardrobe a little and put on something else. Maybe just a color scheme change, nothing crazy but just a thought. The real winner of the night is Iceman IMHO because Wrestlution was in my eyes his full graduation, not only from an FPR perspective but from a content creation perspective. He showed he is 100% clean when it comes to the in ring action, even backed off when he knew he fucked up on a fin (I don’t remember exactly where but it happened) and that was a class act. If you add on top of this the uniqueness of his character, the uniqueness of his promos, the consistency of his content you really get why he should be considered a wrestler and no longer a rookie. The return of Dane was unexpected honestly. Him being associated with Dillinger and feuding with Cort will be interesting for sure given how fresh is character is (at least in eyes of those who haven’t been here since 1957) and the fact he’s surrounded by very talented writers. Time will tell where this goes but it does have the potential to make a big impact. Same goes for Telos, KD and Jack Sparrow. The pirate in particular stood out for me the fucking attire was awesome. I want to see more. Please. If mantis doesn’t want to be HMR then I don’t see an issue with that. HOWEVER, at least he should acknowledge the stipulation in some way. There are so many ways this can be written out I don’t even know where to start. He could pull a Finn Balor and stay green, while using HMR when booked in grudge matches as some sort of “ultra version of himself” which would allow him to keep his green colors he so frantically wants. He could claim HMR is a split part of his personality that is taking control, he’s fighting back against it, like Spider-Man 3. There’s literally so many ways you can honor the stipulation while STILL being green mantis… and he’s (unironically I swear) a good writer too so he could totally pull this off if he wanted to. Everything but this. It’s not my toon so ultimately everyone should feel free to do whatever they please. This is just my advice to a character that I unironically love and believe he has a fuckton of potential given how often he is talked about on discord even more than actual Champions and prolific writer (This is something to be considered…) As for the Owen guy, I absolutely loved the package and the presentation. We all have inspirations, even EMP who is arguably the most creative person on the roster when she started out she was basically our own version Asuka however she quickly adapted and moved from that template and developed into their own thing. Now I don’t watch NXT Uk but even if I don’t I still got Walter vibes from the presentation and the whole Mat Enforcer thing is fundamentally the same vibe as the Ring General thing (that’s how he calls himself right?). I will totally admit that Valkyrie is pretty much a Viking version of Candice Lerae and Xia Brookside, however I do believe you should maybe try and give it a little spin to it, a different attire or just a different catchphrase to make him feel a little different. That said, it’s not a big deal at all, just a word of advice for the future because the skill is totally there. Jehst vs Maxx was good. Maybe not a five star classic because it was short and to the point, but not every match has to go on for 50 minutes or so. In complete honesty I was maybe expecting a little bit more attire wise as they both looked like they were wrestling in weekly attires but I think the entrances kinda made up for it and gave the whole match the proper epicness. They are both flashy over the top showboats so you know, you’d expect them to sport something over the top for Lution but I have no doubts it was a well thought out choice. This obviously didn’t impact the actual match, just an observation. It was probably explained in a roleplay somewhere and I missed it. That said Maxx really stood out to me overall lately for how good the content is, how he manages to be at the same time light hearted but also funny and entertaining without necessarily being cringe, if that makes any sense. He just needs to get a little bit better on the sticks and then he will surely be a potential main event candidate, if not already. He’s just like Caine in my opinion, the complete package but just needs a couple of big wins to really make that jump. The HIAC was surprisingly good and props to the handlers because frankly it’s extremely hard to make a good match out of that stipulation. In general I’ve seen people complain when the cell doesn’t break, complain if the cell breaks but looks artificial and so on and so forth. It takes a certain degree of skill to make a match like this work and they did it so that alone is a win in my books. The empress attire + entrance was honestly phenomenal, I was blown away by the use of green screen and everything. So props there for making it good. The story as a whole was very much entertaining and light hearted, but somehow violent at the same time, both terms that perfectly sum up the essence of emp and her gimmick. Who knows what’s gonna happen next but there are a numbers of very interesting opponents that I could see her take on, Terra flojo and so on… even Joanna given the rp that was posted on the show. Well nobody predicted that the main event was gonna be “”””ruined””” by Kassidy. While quartz vs Ortiz was easily one of the most anticipated matches ever, this triple threat still delivered due to the history between the toons and the quality of the match itself which was filled with neat spots and entertaining top to bottom. I believe everyone thought Kassidy had it at one point and it would have been such a great moment but then the Kickout happened. The double AA spot was also amazing for how organically it happened, prolly the moment of the night right next to Jay breaking fpr on Spooder. Is Nate really done? Maybe, his retirement could be plausible if he decides to focus more on different characters. Overall his run was solid and while some claim dominion had their ups and downs, I still believe they did what they had to do and pulled it off better than most stables did in the past.

  35. Fuck page two. Holy shit, a Mantis promo. Usually this means he won his match, but it's one that I didn't watch during the live show. Actually well written, he's coming across now as someone who thinks he should be loved, but is realising that it's not working out that way. Bigs up his match, smart. Wrestling 101. Ashley Moore is becoming something of a loose cannon, it's very interesting. Has she perhaps lost her shit due to, well, Lution? She wants her fucking rematch, and there's no reason to deny her, god damn it. The rolling sunset flip tackle from Danny to Mantis in this match was hilarious because he followed it up with some ground and pound. Actually quite enjoying this. I'm surprised as I don't really enjoy playing either of these dudes. (Holsters the big irons) Quite a bit of move repetition as we enter the near-dangerzone, we'll call it Florida. Cos shit is wild down there. Closely fought match, props to the winner. Holy shit, Asher is alive! Tucker is woke though, and it's fun. He's been a good guy, not the greatest on the sticks but he's fun to play so hopefully everything he has going on leads somewhere. B17 continues to try and make amends for being Kassidy's bitch. A show of mutual respect from two champions that are friends, also ties in slightly to the TTC because Reese has managed to find a phone large enough for his massive fucking hands. The Terra X Antonio relationship being in peril is the most serious thing going on in OCW right now, and I hope to god they can set it right. Debbie D vs. Blaine is a big women slapping each other with fists match, and you should watch it, because I did, live. Oh hey, Tre Golden was able to open a google document (just kidding big guy). He sneaks into a hospital wearing a hood to confront Heather, to tell her he's going to beat the shit out of H20 and win the world title. Just a heads up, Mark Reese already pinned him, so try beating Reese first fella. Little spear in joke, I chuckled. Tre genuinely believes his own hype, and it somewhat translate into the character, but I can't help but think it's just a shoot. Wholesome Lucha Country RP up next, with Reese continuing to get more and more serious about it all instead of being this big cuddly teddy bear, he's becoming more of a grizzly bear. The match is what it is. Props to the winners. Jerome and Doc are going to beat each other up at somepoint, sissys. The Aisu challenge was a weird one, I felt it could have been over way earlier, but the person that won was also the person that ate the most amount of finishers just proving that even if you get your shit pushed in, if the stars align, you can sneak the win. Props to the winner, enjoy the prize! Cort and Jehst show there's no hard feelings, even though I'm sure they were yelling at one another backstage, only to patch things up and go out for a few beers like real men. Kudos to them for taking it on the chin and keeping their friendship going. Zoe Cohle has recovered, she's back! Ashley Moore still wants her rematch, and no one is going to get in her way. No one comes in between her and that title, Valkyrie seemingly accepts. Holy shit... The result of that match, it could have HUGE, HUGE, HUGE Consequences (see what I did there) depending on the result of the final match next week. Oh god, stay tuned. P3... Do... Some shit. Some wacky shit, that involves some, but not all of the following, Bill Pine, a robot, a velociraptor and severe spinal trauma. Cort and Jehst have a drunken adventure, and it's god damned AmeriStralian! Salami does a voice promo, come on, let's go, go listen to it. Nate and I exchange words, soon we'll exchange fists. It's history in the making, two people that have actively competed in almost every era of OCW, for the first time, the only time, never again. No redo's bubbas. Shep and KD kill each other for your amusement, there's a title on the line too. Go watch it, props to the winner.

  36. Not in order. Sorry if I forgot something. Blaine Estrella Solid opener with an unexpected result. Not a huge fan of Blaine attire because street clothes look meh but I understand it was related to the gimmick. Now my only gripe with this match is the amount of strike strike strike corner strike strike strike sequences. Should engage with grapple more often or variegate the play style a little, even though your are trying to be a striker (there are grapples or strong strikes that still fit a striker). Other than that the match was neat, Cool finish and gg to both players I remember the Timesplitters RPs from last year, I didn't understand it last time, I've found them entertaining this time around but I haven't much to say about them. I definitely enjoyed the other Spiders RPs, the “real” ones. But I understand they have been doing this since forever and want to just mess around and do different, out of the ordinary things. Three way Pops for Solomon as expected, great attire from Matteo, I'm still not a huge fan of Caine’s caw but whatever. “OldSchool shooter” was one the highlight of the match. Some close calls and Caine ultimately wins. Happy for him because he's put it the work and because nobody really was expecting him to come out on top at Cide. Still a solid season for Matteo who despite the loss heads into Season 15 with a ton of potential. TY/B17 is an interesting duo, in a division that clearly lacks tag teams. The mentor/protege deal is simple but works well in Wrestling especially when it mixes ic and ooc as in this case. Spider Cobra Personally the match of the night from an ENTERTAINMENT standpoint. It was fun to watch, simple as that. That's due to a mixture of things, probably Spider being Spider (with all of the flaws connected to this) and Cobra being the lovable Daniel Bryan of the situation. Thankfully he escaped the submission move, he lost but was still somehow protected by the way he took the L (roll up) and by the fact he kicked out of the Khallas twice. VP made it 70x times better. I enjoyed the H2O RP a lot as I enjoyed the whole feud with KD. Not sure how Stacy could like that hairstyle though lol Tag Ladder Felt a tiny bit more one sided than expected (Quartz took forever to get to red) but still very entertaining. A spotfest, very WWE style in the way the book their ladder matches. My personal favorite was Rust no selling the knee then going for the comeback. Perfect example of how you can use the game mechanics to create something cool to watch. Not sure what else to say really, I think we possibly have found a way to make tags a bit less boring with added stipulations (ofc if the handlers agree). The Zoe Ashley Moore program is enjoyable but Moores gimmick is really hard to get behind. It's hard to believe that she is scared shitless of someone who she has beat clean and fairly easily one week ago and who is also smaller than her. It's like Goldberg being scared of Rollins. Hard to get behind and to take seriously, unless you are going for a comedy character a la R Truth, but she has the potential to be more than that imho. That being said I've enjoyed the angle, just need to refine the gimmick a little. Would be interesting to see a rematch at some point. The KD RP was simple but definitely an improvement from the previous RPs. I feel like the whole “I'm going to steal the title” deal was a bit silly especially when it came from a man who is supposedly an intimidating giant. Felt more like a sissy lol. I like this version of KD more. Solid RP from Drago, with all due respect I enjoy these more than the P3 segments as they sell the hype for the match more, compared to the more comedy ones. The broken English is the extra touch that makes them unique even though I think he should've learned it by now. No? Lol H2O KD For the love of mankind H2O should stop using those girly taunts, especially when he's rocking a pink outfit. JK, but seriously. Fun match, competitive but cleanish and with a solid finish. Not a huge fan of pop ups attempt, they look dumb, even though I understand their competitive nature. H2O retaining was definitely good though, makes the title looks stronger and, given the post match angle, opens up some interesting scenarios in the future. KD needs to fix the moveset a little and either remove the spear as a regular if he wants to keep it as a finisher or claim a different one in the thread. Maxx Tucker RP, loved it, simple, to the point and wrestling based. A sneaky heel cheapshotting a face. Wrestling 101. Sometimes less is more. I want to see where this is going. Jehst x TY was unexpected. It's good to see more experienced roleplayers helping others out to get them some exposure. He tried to convince him that teaming up with B17 wasn't a good idea… well. Only time will tell. I see what you did there with the elbow drop reference. Jett vs Code at some point in the Future? Count me in. It's been brewing since Lution pretty much. Code is a great roleplayer, should definitely be around the main event scene more often. Wrex Malu Entertaining contest all throughout. Wrex has a solid moveset and I think he's one of best when it comes to make a match not look like an actual game if that makes any sense. The Samoan commentary was on point too. If I'm allowed to say one thing (probably not) is that I'm not a huge fan of those fake outs moments, when Malu runs at Wrex fakes the Running fin then hits the other one. The finish looked a bit awkward because of this. Solid contest though, looking forward to the tie breaker now. Cort x Dupree RP about the FI case theft. Not really sure where this angle is going, but I like the fact that the case is constantly brought up in the storylines, keeps it and his holder relevant. Solid heel work from Cort and entertaining angle all around. Cobra’s RP was great. He wrote off the defeat, kept his heat going and showed some character. I could picture him still making his entrance with light heavyweight title, possibly going for a LHW vs EX Div rematch? Just an idea. Reign was short but his season was solid. Wrex wants a rematch at S2R? Let's go. Drago Nate Fun match with a lot of hype around it, for those who are informed at least. Some neat spots on the outside even though the game was not cooperating. The Tyga upper on Nate was an awesome spot, and was surprisingly fluid despite it being a standing front finisher. The Jungle 2 Jungle finish was neat. The final cutscene keeps us wondering if there might be a rematch in the future?

  38. http://thumbs.gfycat.com/DrearySlowIberiannase-poster.jpg Good Morning, tossed a bunch of inactive and alt accounts from the discord and demoted a bunch of rookie accounts. Something to the tune of 100+ over the last 120 days. Why? Our time is precious as I get older I along with our support staff are not college kids or 20 somethings or teenagers. We all have lives and responsibilities, we simply do not have the time and energy to pour into fruitless endeavors. This is a community and as such it should be treated.........as....such!... Moving forward the barrier for entry is going to be for lack of a better word "More Difficult". Once upon a time the forum was closed and in order to join you had to fill out a lengthy application and have an account created for you. Another time you where required to make 15 non spam posts in order to be promoted. Now you simply need to show up and copy and paste. And even something as simple as copy and paste has failed time and time again. So moving forward the Application will remain, however all accounts will be audited by someone from Staff or Support staff. Any flags will be noted and action (removal/banning/authentication/etc) will be taken as necessary. Lastly ALTS that decide to create forum accounts under the guise of secrecy. MUST LET A STAFF MEMBER know. Failure to do so will result in loss of discord and forum privileges. I am tired of having our time wasted if you want to join The OCW Community Great. If you want to be an observer, great just observe outside. If you want to be a fan/friend then some semblance of participation is required if that is too much, then do not apply for said Fan/Friend status. Thank you for listening to my tedtalk.

  40. Oh hello! I didn’t notice you there! Ryu “The Spider” Matsumoto here, head instructor at the Pepperton Dungeon. This is one of the most prestigious wrestling schools in the business, and whether you’re here as a green rookie, or a veteran looking to get in shape, we’re going to take you back to boot camp. So let's start with the basics, your Tools! Tools: Moveset Stats Your Spacing/Zone Combinations Match Economy Tool #1 Your Moveset This is the most important tool you have in your arsenal. It being the most important thing in your arsenal it should be the thing that you are most familiar with. Many of us who are veterans are intimately familiar with our movesets, we know where all of our moves are and can use whatever we need on command. For a rookie though, its not as easy to do, so let’s walk through a way to put together an easy to use moveset that does whatever you need to do, when you need to do it. First thing’s first, we need to organize your moveset in such a way that you can get to anything you want to get to with minimal thought. The less time you spend thinking about what you’re gunna do, the more time you can do what you need to do. Your strikes should be laid out in such a way that you always have an option. You should have a High Priority, Low Range quick move to hit someone that gets too close, you should have a long range move to keep your opponent away, and you should have a medium range move with weird timing to get around reversals and as a chaining move for combo strings. Place your lower risk grapple moves on your A+Directional. These will be your bread and butter moves as they are the quickest to get out. You want NO Major reversal moves here as well, since these moves are easy to accidentally use. Additionally I suggest you use at least one move here that leaves your opponent standing so you can initiate combos (see the combo section). Next you have your Neutral A followed by A+ Directional. This is where you should place your knockdown moves and some of your Major Reversal moves since your opponent has 2 opportunities to reverse (on the initiating move and on the actual move). You should use this primarily as a mix up or a way to bait a reversal. Your Hold X or A+Directional should be your big/high damage moves/major reversal moves. Since they need to be deliberately done by holding down a Button. These moves should only be done when your opponent is down to their last reversal in order to do big damage or bait them into using that reversal. Next, we need to be able to work two body parts with our moveset so decide what you want to work. I highly suggest, as a rookie you work head and body primarily as you will get additional damage from reversals, which generally target the head and body. Once you decide which body parts you want to work divide your grapples up by axis. Using Head/Body as an example set all your Body Moves to the Left/Right Axis and set all of your Head Moves to the Up/Down Axis. That way you always know, “If I use up/down I will always do head damage.” and, “If I use Left/Right I will always do body damage.” This will drastically limit the amount of wasted moves in your matches. Tool #2 Your Stats Now that your moves are better optimized lets look at your stats. Now after extensive testing here at the Dungeon we’ve found that stats don’t work exactly as intended, but we do know how you can get the most bang for your buck. First things first, figure out what stats your moveset utilizes, this should be indicated in the moveset screen when you select your moves. If you have more arm power moves, prioritize putting points in that, if you have no intention of using diving moves, set all the stats attributed to diving to minimum, this will open up more stat points for the stats you need. Next, Durability Stats, Stamina, and Stamina Recovery are important for EVERYONE, don’t skimp out on these! If you have to drop an aspect of your moveset to do so, I highly suggest doing so. NEVER bump other stats at the expense of these. Remember when it comes to stats a Jack of All Trades is a Master of None. Tool #3 Spacing and Your Zone At their most basic, the WWE Games are fighting games, and as much as we hate to do it, we have to treat them that way. Footsies is the name of the game. Based on your CAW’s size, speed and moveset your your effective zone will change. It's on you to know what your opponent’s effective zone is and deal with it. If your opponent tends to utilize lunging grapples to close in and initiate an attack, use a ducking move or a high priority close range move to catch them as the come in. If they throw that quick move to keep you away, watch it come out and lunge in with a long-medium range strike or even a grapple. Initiating offense is all about spacing, and timing. Be aware of where you are in relation to your opponent in the ring and be ready to reverse or counter whatever they can throw at you from the range you’re in. Tool #4 Combinations Congratulations! You’ve just hit your opponent and initiated offense. Now hit them again! Combinations are the best way to deal heavy damage/punish someone after a major reversal or using their last reversal. One of the most traditional combinations, thats applicable in any location during a match, is: 1. Strike Combination 2. Move that Leaves Opponent Standing 3. Heavy major reversal move, knocking the opponent down This combo gets 3 moves worth of damage in AND if that was your first knockdown you still have more damage to do. The more familiar you are with your moveset, the better you will be at putting combinations together. Some moves flow so well into each other that it gives your opponent minimal time to react, familiarize yourself with those combinations and maximize your damage output in a single damage phase. Tool #5 Match Economy If you’ve gotten this far you have a better idea of the Micro Level of the game. That is to say you know how to make your CAW move around and hit someone in the most effective way. There is also a Macro level to the game, the economics of WWE. There are three resources that your CAW has which will determine the outcome of a match, Stamina, Momentum and Reversals. Momentum and Stamina management are fairly simple to master. You either have enough to do what you need to do, or you don’t. If you have low stamina, don’t try and do an Ultimate Control move, it won’t work! Likewise if you’re at the end of a match, don’t try and do a Combo into your finisher, as you’ll likely run out of Stamina before you can get your finisher off. Reversals however, can get very complicated. While it's good to stay ahead of your opponent in reversals, it’s not necessarily wise to take tons of damage in order to maintain that lead. Reversals are worth much more late in the match than they are early on.

  45. A man wearing tan baggy cargo pants and a black hoodie is walking down a dimly lit hallway in what seems his home. Decorating the hallway are framed pictures of famous OCW matches and stars, and a few title belts; the OCW NA Championship, the OCW Television Championship, the OCW Tag Team Championship, and right below that the WWO Tag Team Championship. At the end of the hallway, the man enters the living room and proceeds to reach into his pocket and pull out his pack of Camels non-filters and a lighter, toss them onto the coffee table, then sits down on the couch. After he sits down, he reaches for the remote control that sits atop the coffee table in front of him. With the remote he turns on the 72 inch HDTV and his DVR box. Once on he goes through the menus until he reaches Wrestlution 6, and hits play. Then he opens the small chest, also on the table, and pulls out a joint. Over the next 3 and a half hours, the man watches the PPV and smokes joints and cigarettes. He seems to be enjoying what he sees...RD Money's return, the Future Investment match, Sensation losing the company to Smythe DaWonder, and the other matches and promos. As the PPV ends, the man reaches for the remote once more and turns off the DVR box and changes the setting on the television to play videos from his laptop. Putting the remote back on the table, he then opens up his laptop and pulls up a video to watch. After a few seconds, the television screen begins showing the Future Investment match from Wrestlution 1. The man once again reaches for another joint, and sparks it up. After a few hits the man mumbles to himself..."There's not enough drugs in OCW like there used to be."

  46. It's not a ton of werds but imma put in some werds, brah. Ashley Moore returning as a heel didn't surprise me that much, if I'm being honest, as I'm a noob and am not super-familiar with the character, but teaming up with Harri? That surprised me. Seems like between Alexa/Furiosa, Marisa/Sarah Moore, Terra/Sue, and now Ashley/Harri, we're getting some women's units running around. Maybe, once a few more women hop on the boat, we could have a solid tag team scene on our hands. Heck, we could probably do it right now, but i have a weird thing about the singles titles and tag titles being too knit together in the division. Again, I'm a dumb noob, so if it works, it works! Also Harri if you don't name your second finisher something related to Despair when you get promoted, I'll cry a little inside. Holy shit, who pissed in Harris Turner's wheaties? I will not hear any bit of him just being a white meat, friendly neighborhood babyface, that man just flatlined John Carter with EASE. Are we sure he's not from Cleveland, because that man came within inches of catching a body. I love Ry, Aries, and Hayden and I could not have asked for better dance partners. Tag team matches are one of my favorite things in wrestling, and every bit of what I had for this match, from the attires to the tag moves, Hayden helped me plan out. I'd like to think we did a good job of entertaining you guys. As for the weird bit with the game messing with Ry, sorry about that. Now I know to get after it. Now, if people could stop leaving me to get beat up by the champions, I'd really appreciate it. I'm starting to get really nervous every time I walk past Tony Touch. Another surprise heel team-up, AC Cobra and Telos. Red Zone, apparently. I like Cobra and I like Telos. I'm looking forward to seeing where this goes. Does anyone disagree with me that Maxx Edwards makes the best video promos in OCW? If you do, you're either a contrarian, wrong, or both. I'm sorry, I don't make the rules. Didn't really like the finish of the main event, but I like the result. I think Mark Reese needs a fresh start away from the tag titles for a minute, as he's definitely carried the belts to a point where the tag team division has been built up a LOT. Jamie's done so much for that strap, as have Pierre and Brian, and I think they all deserve a lil break. Flojo. Baby. My darling. I really want you to win the belt. Not because I like you, which I do, kinda, but because I'm so sick of La Mujera. God in heaven, please earn that title shot and get the french tart off my screen! Alyssa's moveset is much more focused than the usual fare from the handler, and I love that for her. She feels like an indyriffic lucha libre cajun lady, her moveset makes sense with that, and if there's a better rocket kick animation next game, I think I'd like the finisher a lot too. Sarah Moore's fun too, but I think I need to see a bit more of her before I make a final judgement. Mason and Siddhant both had banger theme songs and a solid enough match considering the couple of rookie mistakes from Mason and weight detection fucking him over. I feel like Mason's on the right track, and Bingo made him look pretty good, all things considered. A little more time in the oven, and Mason will be on the right track. PROMO WISE: Terra and Sue. The gays. I love them so much. Please, Jake and Jamie, indulge me, feed me more wholesome gay content, let me print it out and grind it into a fine powder so I can line it with crack and snort it, holy SHIT. Y'all are great. BECAUSE FUCK YOU. Chris, I'm making that t-shirt for you, and you can't stop me. IDK about anyone else, but the little stutters and pauses in Chris' delivery enhanced it for me. You get the feeling that Chris Greene's finally standing up for himself, and of course he's nervous about it, but he's gonna stand his ground because that's what the babyface does. Good to see the whole Sanctum/Wolves/TWC thing is going on. Parker having a bit of personality is nice, it's something the character DESPARATELY needs in my opinion. The KANG in Dominion. God damn, I have no idea how to feel about that. It'll be interesting, for sure, but I'll be honest- Dominion has felt a little odd to me since Nate and Rust settled their shit in the ring, but I don't hate it! I look forward to seeing how Doc's involvement in things shakes up the dynamic. Adam and Calum are great talents and awesome writers, and I'm looking forward to seeing them get at it some more. Finally, Quartz and Harvey. I'll be honest, not a fan of the whole 'secretly brothers' trope in wrestling, but come on, it's Jake and H2O. Of course they're gonna do it justice. Having Spider back around full time is def good for Quartz, and I think their next match is gonna be even better now. Looking forward to seeing how they conclude this.

  47. Fuck page 2. It's here and I am happy that we are back for this season. I will only do a written RPs review cause there is a lot to breakdown already. - EL Parca RP was a nice babyface RP. Build sympathy with the audience and fire in the wrestler. A family man excited to be here, feels like one of the few babyfaces left on the roster. I am interested into the development of Parca. - RYU IS BACK. Spider LHW Champion vs Bobby LHW Champion. Undisputed Light Heavyweight Championship. Will Bobby elevate the title like he did with the Pride one? Or will Ryu keep JAY annoyed and disgusted ? Must watch at Anny. - That Valk and Drago 2K20 RP made me giggle. That heelish producer Valk, you should be ashamed ! Tell us the truth ! And why am I under "Quartz's alt" ? Who made this game ? That flake DLC got me hard. #FIXOCW2K20 - Leo Grimm is pissed off and la Hiena is apparently still a thing. Will he be used one day ? If that is a storyline and not just a one off, why not. Nothing to say really. Don't turn this into a slasher movie. - Funny little RP by Tucker with a little cameo from yours truly. Looks like Maxxxxxxxx Edwards is in deep trouble. Just a heads up. Don't stare at our titles too long kiddo, not a good business decision. But funny little interactions. Joshua gets a point. - Allow me to reintroduce myself, my name is Floj. Like I said before, I want Flojo to take that next step I thought she would last season. Hopefully she gets it done. But she seems fired up and willing to do anything, which was missing from this character. She wants that smoke. Street ProJo. - Cort is my pick to be the MIP this season. The breakout. He is back at it with Darren17, and he is going for his FI briefcase. But he might need allies to fight Kasstianity, which he doesn't have. I am on the Cort bandwagon. - Aisu wants to make an impact. But i won't comment on it. - Ashley vs Empress. Ashley doesn't know what's coming to her. She is being played and everybody saw it except her. Sed. - Oh Lord Bobby is SHOOTING from the hips. Outch. The King of Promos strikes again. That AC Cobra bit got me. but WHO BITES CHAMPIONSHIPS ? - Same RPs from Heather and H2O in the show as in the video. Last dance for H20 vs KD. Heather vs Valk ? I like those 2 matchups. - More insult to injury from Empress. How can Ashley come back from it ? I don't see it happening. - This 3 way RP feels like a Mortal Kombat RP to me. Good vs Bad. Love (and Bubba) vs Kassianity. Sonya Blade (Dragana), Jade (Terra) and Cassie Cage (Elsa) vs Kitana (Valk) and Cindell (The evil empress) controlled by Shinnok himself, Kass (Shang Tsung being too dead and Shao Kahn not smart enough). BIG CET also. - Just like I said, Cort is out numbered. He needs someone to watch his back. Good luck with that. - The Jackmo promo was kind of awesome I have to say. Didn't expect to see him ever again. Turmoil gets a strong presence, much much much needed. Welcome back. - P3 BONANZA TIME. How can I review that? Just the usual really. One word: WRESTLING. That was a long ass read and watch. but that was so much fun. Viewing Party was lit. Card was lit. Rp's are lit. Promising season ahead ! F y'all now.
